Highly recommended

Hotel was very good, located at the heart of the old quarter and walking distance to most tourist spots. My room was very spacious for one person, with big bathroom and balcony facing the city, bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is also good because it was included with your stay and you have the option for few cooked breakfast if you wish to. My stay was much nicer because of the staff that are helpful and kind most specially Chloe and Long Bee(not sure if this is his real name)😊. My experience with the hotel and its staff have been great and if I will be given a chance to go back to Hanoi I would not hesitate to book with them again. For those looking for hotel to stay in Hanoi old district, I would highly recommend using them. Great service and value for money. Again thank you very much.🙏❤️😊

We enjoyed our stay at the West. There's no shortage of shopping and food options within walking distance of the hotel. If you are looking for 'Beer Street' it's just one block away. The staff was very helpful. They even assisted us around our other excursion to and from Ha Long Bay. We would stay there again.

This property is very dirty. Brown towels and dirty floors. Ther is no safe and nowhere to leave your valuables. Also there is no air conditioning. When I spoke with the reception desk, they said they promise the AC will work....but nothing. I am from Canada and have travelled to SE Asia several times but have never had such a terrible experience for the money. Dirty and Overpriced.

Nice hotel. Just disappointed my room had no window and the photos on the side lead to believe there is, when in fact it is a window to the toilet.

Great location for the night market and walking around. Room is very small and dated but ok. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was aveage but ok. Lots of things to see and do right outside the door.

The staff at the property were really nice and spoke good English. Breakfast had some nice options as well. However, our room did not have a hot water in the shower. There was a hot water running from the sink faucet, but not in the shower. Staff tried to fix it, but the water would not stay warm for long - it was changing from warm to cold every few seconds and made taking shower almost impossible (unless you enjoy cold one, I don’t)

Not sure where the 4 star qualification comes in

Though the person on the night shift when we checked in was wonderful, nothing else about this hotel merits a 4 star rating. The room was indeed large, but not super clean and lacked amenities (ie: bathrobe, which we had had in every 3 star hotel we stayed at prior). The spa was a joke - it's billed as a "rooftop spa" and it just a room on the top floor. We booked a 45 minute massage and our masseuses arrived 10 minutes late, didn't give us the massage we asked for and then asked us for a tip at the end. I wanted to love this hotel, but it's really not what we expected. Like I said, most of the reception staff were great, but it was otherwise a very lackluster stay. I had high hopes, given the hotel manager reached out soon after booking, which was a nice personal touch. We stayed at a different 3 star hotel in Hanoi prior and that was a much better experience all around.

Excelente ubicación.

They changed the hotel on our way there saying there was something wrong with their system so they are going to give us an upgrade to their sister hotel witch was awful not what we paid for mold in the bathroom. Very small room with minimal lighting dingy is the word to describe this hotel (Hanoi Harmonia Hotel and Spa)

Good location. The staff was so nice, helpful and welcoming. There was an elevator to access rooms. The breakfast was excellent . The hotel provided accommodation for an earlier breakfast. The bed was comfortable.

Staff was soo friendly and polite. I was travelling by myself and the hotel had all the ameneties that I needed. Hotel is located right in the middle of the weekend night market. Thank you!

Great over all

Cloe at front desk was very good. Service over all great. Wet pressure for shower was not very strong. At night can hear music from outside. Friday to sunday there is a night market just outside the hotel!

Great location, but the doors were noisy because you had to slam it because of the alarm.

The staff was so friendly! Delicious breakfast and Mike was able to accommodate a late night/early morning check in after our flight was delayed! Highly recommend.

This was a little gem, so close to so much. The bed was firm, the water hot, the room quiet ( not overly big but suitable for our needs. The staff were great. Recommended.

Chloe, part of the staff at the front desk was extremely helpful and supportive! I will share that the property is also particularly great for its location and accessibility. Distances between the property and the attractions are very close by Extremely busy on the outside but calm in the room where we spent 4 nights

Overnight in Hanoi.

Perfectly situated for the night market. Our room had no window but was surprisingly quiet even with the night market. The staff were friendly and accommodating; room clean. Overall a good value.

Everything at this hotel is great except a few little bugs in the room. Hot breakfast, excellent location at the heart of the weekend night market and other shopping and food area. Front staff speaks english well and friendly. They offer good concierge services.

The West is a great location in the Old Quarter. We have been to Hanoi many times and I think this has been my favorite hotel. Ms. Linh was amazing. She was so helpful with anything we needed and very sweet. She helped us book a trip to Sapa that we really enjoyed. We will definitely be staying at The West again in the future!!

Perfect in every way

We stayed at The West for 8 days as our last stop of our 95 day SE Asia adventure. I have to say it was within the top 3 hotels we stayed in throughout our journey and we stayed in some pretty nice places. The staff was the most welcoming, efficient and kind, our room was very comfortable, from the bed to the shower and the breakfast was delicious. The location cannot be beat as it is in the middle of the Old Quarter and made everything very walkable. Thank you to everyone at The West for making our final days of our trip so memorable.

Fabulous

We arrived very early in the morning and although the hotel was full they lead us to a private spot so we could rest and offered us a free breakfast. The staff are absolutely the best here and could not have been more helpful. Comfortable room, great shower and very convenient to surroundings. Highly recommended.

Good Hotel

Great location in the old quarter section of Hanoi. Night market right outside the door from Friday night and weekend, where they close the street to traffic. Staff were very friendly. Our only disappointment was there was no safe in the rooms.

Amazing staff! So friendly and helpful! Great breakfast! Great laundry service. The toilet would "girgle" off and on and splash water all over the toilet seat.

We found the staff very helpful and supportive. They went out of their way to help us when our plane was delayed and to make us feel comfortable during our stay.

Front desk customer service is very polite and helpful to assist us finding restaurant.

First time in Ha Noi it was crazy good. Very busy streets but shopping and dinning was very affortable, Hotel was clean and work well for my family of 4.

We highly recommend this hotel, everything is just perfect and we enjoy our stay, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Convenient location to everything.

Nice hotel in the old quarter and actually on the street where the night market. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I booked a car with the hotel from and to the airport. Good price and excellent service. And last night I came back to my room to some snacks and a thank you card from the hotel!

Best Location and Good price

The Staff were wonderful. They even help carry your luggage to the room. Breakfast was delicious. All you can eat and they can pre-packed it if you need to leave very early for your trip or you can even eat after the breakfast is closed. Loaction is right at the heart of happening, shopping and food. Very convenient. Highly recommend.

Great hotel

Great place to stay in Hanoi. Location is fantastic in the heart of the old quarter, rooms are really nice, spacious, comfy and clean. Staff are great, especially those on the front desk. Always keen to help with directions, taxis, etc. Fully recommend.
