Bunk option, room service restaraunt credit. "Library" atrium room. A fun hotel conveniently located near the USC campus. Enjoyed our stay!
Dirty Sheets and a muggy room
No fan in bathroom, lots of homeless people around at night
The hotel itself is quite decent but the peripheral downtown location can be sketchy at times, especially when the houseless/unstable people are around talking to themselves or yelling to nobody in particular. It was within walking distance of Whole Foods, Macy's, the Apple Store, public transportation stops/stations, and close enough to event venues such as BMO Stadium or Crypto.com Arena.
Always at the top of my list to stay in LA. Very cozy and clean, elegant place with amazing staff
I would’ve rated this property as excellent but the few things were that broke made me rate it a little lower. I had a special request for roses and champagne for checkin for a romantic evening, but they said they didn’t do that, which was fine but the person who assisted was a little rude over the phone. That was my first interaction. Other than that, the staff were entirely amazing once I checked in. Second, there was no fridge, which was disappointing. Same with the lack of free water and coffee maker. Third, was that they mentioned breakfast but made it seem like it was included in the stay. They charged it to the hotel room. That was a little disappointing. There was also convenient parking, but at an extra $30. It was safe and very close by at least. We were there for the “Fork & Film” event which was amazing! That and the rooftop bar along with the hotel ambience and aesthetic were amazing and well worth it!
I had a wonderful stay here! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was delicious and the hotel felt very safe. The area around, naturally, was very chaotic but that’s because it’s in the middle of DTLA so it was also near lots of stores, restaurants, and cafes. I would stay again!
Like it!!
Excellent
Excellent cozy personal space with urban view and aesthetic. You almost feel like it’s your apartment
It smelled really bad of urine around. There were soo many homeless around and then using drugs soo close to the hotel entrance.
Big fan of The Wayfayer DTLA Tapestry Collection by Hilton They have an amazing lobby, lounge and cafe on the first floor, speakeasy known as the Lily Rose (inquiry within) and Rooftop Restaurant & Bar. I stayed for two nights, definitely tempted to stay longer as the room accommodations are stellar. The blackout windows, cozy beds and endless pillows, open closet area/racks, standing desk and very spacious bathrooms I'm all a fan of. Minor extra charges for accessing the rooftop as well as longer elevator wait times were a bit unexpected. Though the staff, service and security were all polite, personable. Would stay again and do recommend. Note: A daily deposit is added on for each night stay. And you get a $25 credot for "The Kitchen" cafe
Everthing was good but the not have hot water at all, i stayed nov sat 23TH - sun 24TH 2024. they had some problems to fix, they said about fixed the problem but not happens. so was very bad, other than that i like the hotel all the staff everthing.
Inside the hotel is awesome but not good outside. The garage elevator next door could have been kept clean
hot water did not work for sinks nor showers. bathroom door lock did not work. outlets in bathroom did not work. tv placement was too far from the bed. no on-site parking availed.
Overall had a decent stay. Biggest complaint was that there was never hot water running to the shower at night. There's a parking garage 2 doors down from the hotel so that was super convenient and felt safe - just gotta be okay with $30 nightly parking.
Hot water was not working. Could not shower.
freezing water for entirety of stay. no towels.
Great staff, awful motel
We had a bunk room. The shower was cold regardless of the time of day or night. The mattresses in the bunk beds deflate immediately so it feels like you’re sleeping on wood boards. The walls are very thin. The people who work there are amazing and helpful. The property is a motel disguising as an upscale hotel and that it is not.
We didn’t have hot water for our entire stay. The room we were in was right by all the AC units and they were extremely loud. Because I booked through Expedia they would not comp any of our stay like the other guests were receiving.
Employees were friendly and hotel was very cute. Unfortunatley we had NOOO hot water our entire stay. Mentioned it a few times and nothing came of it.
Clean, spacious rooms We thought breakfast was included as advertised and it was not
There was no hot water for the shower.
We had a great experience
Hot water did not work for our entire stay. They’re was also a big riot outside the hotel due to the dodgers parade. Parking was $80 for the 2 days we stayed.
I didn't like the exterior of the property.
The hotel staff and cleanliness is great. We enjoyed having drinks and food at the rooftop bar. This was our second time staying. Unfortunately our shower did not produce hot water and had to take cold showers. :( We let the staff know when checking out so they waived our resort fee which was kind.
Absolutely no hot water for the shower
No heat water. ac unit all night noisy worst manager ever
Good to go to crypto.com arena
For the price - go else where. Pay a little more. Good staff and service, decent cleanliness and ambiance (in the lobby) and decent rooftop bar. But small room that I upgraded to - can't imagine the standard room size, older building, poor room quality (broken window shade, lights not working, nowhere to hang clothes, no fan in the bathroom) dirty windows throughout and very loud street noise even on the 11th floor which is near the top. Pretty sure we got bed bug bites as the last day we were there, we had bites all over and are terrible itchy. The food in the rooftop bar was very limited but drinks were tasty. Location is decent but to get to anything decent is a bit of a walk - fairly safe. Probably wouldn't stay there again unless I can get it cheaper than what I paid initially. I should have paid a little more and gone else where but you never know.
City View
We got the true experience of DTLA, our room overlooked city buildings beautifully lit up at night. The noise of the streets was expected, parking is $30 next door. We will be back! Front desk clerks professional and kind.
Good location, attentive and friendly staff.
A really nice place, had a lot of construction during my stay but it never bothered me. Small rooms but what i was expecting.
Nightmare room
Room was so tiny, water was Luke warm at best in shower as well as blow dryer didn’t get hot. Heard every noise from elevator to ice machine to ac units. Buzzing alarm every couple hours kept waking us up. One outlet didn’t work. They were able to move us to another room which was better the next day but still rooms are tiny with a steel support beam in the middle of every room. Location is ghetto too, don’t recommend staying here at all.
Charged $25/day resort fee. No pool No fitness room Nothing to justify "resort "
Nice property but we were on the 2nd floor above the kitchen and room smelled like food and we could hear the garbage truck outside.
I liked that it was close to the subway and I like the rooftop patio as it doesn’t feel like a safe area to be out night it was nice to have that as an option.
Overall was a pleasant stay, had no complaints. Would reserve a second time.
N/A
No security. Parking is a nightmare (closest garage-the elevators make Porta potties smell nice by comparison and missing floor buttons in elevators.) Staff pretty vacant. Nice housekeeping staff tho.
Rooftop dining was beautiful. However our room was more on par with a hostel than a nice hotel. I did get a room with bunk beds due to number of our party, but pictures were deceiving. It seemed like a converted storage closet.
This place was perfect for what we needed. It is clean and the staff is incredibly professional and helpful. I would say my only complaint would’ve been my mattress. Definitely could have used a new one.
The fact that the hotel posted a $400 deposit hold on my account after I went to the front desk and thought the issue was rectified . Now I have to go through the hassle with my bank to get it resolved. In addition the amount of additional fees and gratuity on top of the mandatory entertainment $25 daily fee is ridiculous. I am beyond livid .The staff was extremely nice but all of the additional taxes and payment errors are horrible. By the way i stayed 2 nights but charged a $400 deposit .
I really like the hotel and staff. The only thing I don’t like is the hidden fees. I wish they’d charge for everything up front
The restaurant cashier women’s so nice.
Cool place for a boys trip taco trucks late night your good to go
We had a comfortable stay here. The city view rooms are a bit cramped / small for two. Staff were very friendly. Great convenient location close to Downtown.
The area is dirty and has lots of homeless people around. Parking is $30 overnight per night
The rooms are on the smaller side but beds are comfy !
Good
Loved the stay
Loved the bunk bed set up Wonderful food within hotel Wish the lights did not auto come on in the bathroom
The size of the room was decent, bathroom was clean. The hotel staff was friendly. I don’t like how the resort credit is non-refundable, since we were told that the credit is used for breakfast and we never ate breakfast in the hotel. I think this needs to be reviewed.
Great stay.
Stayed for kcon (10 min walk) good distance for any food and there was a shopping center nearby
A one-night stay in DTLA
Owing to its small size, the room lacks many of the basics. There are no bedside tables, dresser or closet. These shortcomings have been addressed in an ingenious fashion. Under the bed are drawers. There is a peg board on the wall with a hook and hangers. The hotel has an urban vibe in keeping with the neighborhood. There is exposed concrete on the beams. The rooftop bar has a tropical feel. All in all, I had a pleasant one night stay, but I couldn't imagine staying here for more than a few days max.
Room was small and not as disabled accessible as advertised. The parking situation is especially sketchy for disabled people. I don't recommend for disabled people. Otherwise, the modern use of space, cleanliness, and helpful people made the stay tolerable. But I don't think I would return unless I had business within walking distance of the hotel.
An easy and fairly safe 15 minute walk to Crypto Arena
We had a good experience in terms of staff friendliness , location and convenience.its 9 mins walk to crypto arena. There is seven eleven, Starbucks and I-hop across from the hotel. Our room was clean and bed was comfy.
Property rooms are really small, pics on website make them look larger than they are. My room had 1 king size bed and a small desk and that's it. No closet, no ironing board, no table to even put food down on if working from your room. Not even an Ice machine, anywhere, just strange. At check in they want a 100.00 a night deposit and will charge you 25.00 a night resort fee! Parking is 30.00 dollars a night in a garage next door. You can find a much better hotel in the area with better amenities.
Barry
Checked us in early so the family enjoyed the rest of afternoon. Air conditioning was very weak, fan was blowing all night without much cooling, fortunately the weather was not too hot. The neighborhood unfortunately is rough, I would not let my family members walk alone.
Clean and friendly staff. Convenient walk to convention center and arena.
LA vaca
I enjoyed our stay, room was comfortable, i just wishe we had a bigger table to put stuff on
The bad thing is that this room didn’t have a closet, refrigerator or a safe. I still gave them a 5 star because maybe that is the room I paid for, but I wish I knew that before I booked it.
Everything is pristine and luxurious. But I really need a hand held shower head and a coffee maker in the room. Thanks.
Property was very nice and very convenient for a con-goer such as myself
The King room we had was extremely small. No dresser, coffee maker, etc. there was barely enough room to walk around the bed. No parking through hotel. We parked at a public lot down the block. The area was convenient for our purpose (Crypto Arena) but it was a little dicey walking around the area. We were able to walk to the Arena in about 15 min but it was scary in some parts.
I stayed here for two nights. After my first night, the maids removed my items from my room. When I asked the front desk why my items were taken, she told me to not make any assumptions that their maids took it because they are “very well trained”, this sounded like she was admitting that the hotel is unsafe and items are typically stolen. This was unbelievable, the service was atrocious. I will never stay here again, a complete joke of an establishment.
LA Trip
Nice hotel in downtown LA. Hotel was located close to the metro. Front staff desk was very nice and helpful. Allowed us to keep our bags at the hotel while we attended an event.
Almost got car jacked while trying to check in the parking garage is sketchy homeless people living in your cars families beware don’t go here it’s not safe
Convenient location, friendly staff. Wifi was not very strong and had issues with the shower water not being hot. But overall the hotel was quiet, clean and safe.
Nice hotel
The hotel was in a great location and very nice. Our only issue was the bed was so very low. Very difficult to get out of bed. Also the water pressure and temperature of the water was very low.
Stay was okay, not the best. Water temp would not go above luke warm, the sink water would only come out as a slight trickle or water jet thay splashed everywhere. Super rude neighbors who were shouting and playing music in the middle of the night. Called the front desk and guest was taken care of quickly. This hotel has really convenient parking for cheap right across the street. You get a $25 voucher for their breakfast
Everything was great!
The rooms are clean and have everything you need, even though it appears very minimalist. Staff are friendly and the coffee bar in the lobby is delicious! I would recommend staying here again.
The property was very clean. I just didn't know the rooms were so small. There was no walking room. Not spacious at all.
Very convenient, clean and courteous and friendly staff. Rooms are a little small for 2 people.
The room was insultingly small with no amenities, not even a chair and a closet. Was that a joke? I totallly regret my 2-night stay. there.
Automatic lights kept turning off while I took showers. This was quite annoyingly. Rooms need more shelf space and hooks to hang clothes. Basically, for the price, I would've expected a closer and roomier space. It was rather a disappointment. Will not be staying here again.
Rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos. Polite and helpful staff, walking distance to shopping mall and eateries. Walking distance to L.A. Live
Hotel near USC
Noisy from the roof top bar but convenient location to USC
Front desk assistant manager is very rude. She was rude on different encounters.
Staff super nice!… the room was very clean and comfortable. The rooftop was so cool and has a great city view! Would definitely recommend this place
The main reason for my rating - the hotel demands a DAILY $100 deposit which I didn't see when I made the reservation. They're very aggressive/ rude about wanting the $100 deposit for every night that you're booked. If you're booked for 3 nights, they want $300 deposit. Plus there's no fridge in the rooms. They offer a complimentary mini fridge (if you request one) but you will never get the complimentary mini fridge because front desk told me they only have 4 of them. Which is shocking since the property has the Hilton name attached to it
The building was beautiful, coffee was amazing and the rooftop was perfect for lunch. Also the rooms were clean, stylish and bathrooms were roomy. We want to come back for a weekend getaway (parents getaway)
Convenient location. Downtown is just high in homelessness and low in cleanliness but not the fault of the hotel
No hot water. Security banging on my door at 7am claiming I was illegally occupying. Rooftop closed for private party that they allowed to go over the time and then after refused dinner service. Manager has not responded to 4 voicemails
Great place to stay in DTLA.
The staff was exceptionally helpful. My room was clean and tidy. I would stay there again!
Bad in every way !!
Terrible customer service! Hotel was not able to find our reservation because we booked it through hotel.com Receptionist was SO BADLY uncooperative I had to ask to speak with the general manager ! Hotel room condition was terrible !! Zero closet space . Zero drawer space ! AC loud kept me up all night ! Overall : terrible!! I would never stay there again
Hotel was clean , rooms were small. Great location access to multiple highways!
Hotel was pretty old and not all it. Our first night there we could hear everything coming from outside from our room which keep in mind was the 6th floor. Another thing our hotel did not even have a refrigerator which is mind boggling to me. I wouldn’t stay here again and don’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking to come to LA.
The lobby is very cute and super chic. It kind of lulls you into a false sense of confidence about the room itself. The actual accommodations feel dated and very dingy and the area outside is even sadder looking. It was enough to suit our needs for the evening, but don’t fool yourself into thinking you’ll get a restful night. The windows appear to be original to the building and they don’t provide an ounce of insulation against the noise on the street below.
Unusual
Clean and accessible to everything
Room was not as spacious as it seemed in the photos. Was hard to walk around
Great place!
Great stay. Great service. Only issue was some electrical outlets did not work.
Just terrible. Bathrooms were gross, mold on the shower, bugs, and the view out of the window looked out into buildings with boarded up windows. Food was really bad, staff was nice though. In front is a nice view of homeless people and drug addicts.
