Excellent hotel ! Beautiful lobby and rooms and great customer service!
Bar next to our windown too noisy, hard to sleep, just this inconvenient the hotel in general was great.
Nicely tucked away from major streets, it was quiet yet convenient. Friendly, helpful staff, good value
I have stayed at this Inn twice and hope to do so again. It’s convenient for all points south Manhattan, it’s close to the subway and many excellent dining options, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the decor is so cozy/comfortable it would be easy to forget you’re in the middle of the city. I really enjoyed my two visits.
Room is too small but price is high
The hotel is not the newest and on the outdates side but it was clean and provided everything we needed. There is free breakfast but we did not end up taking advantage of it. There are a few bars in the nearby area that can be on the louder/busier side during the weekend. It didn't bother or affect us but just something to be aware of if you are looking for something particularly quiet.
There were some ants running around in the bathroom
Nice staff, and the hotel is clean. Rooms are good, and the breakfast smelled nice
👍
I liked the location. What I didn't like was that there is no water to drink inside the rooms.
Home atmosphere. Friendly stuff. Extreme patient.
Very nice Inn in Lower Manhattan! Staff and service were excellent. Really enjoyed the older look of the hotel. It was more like a B&B than one of the larger hotels. There are a bunch of bar’s and restaurants behind the building which are loud at night, but other than that it was a wonderful stay.
Charming classic hotel! The rooms are amazing and staff is great - great hotel operators. I stay here as much as possible.
No complaints it was lovely
Clean and lovely rooms. It felt like I stepped back in time.
Property was just lovely; rooms were nice and well maintained hotel was quiet.
This hotel is definitely dated. It’s a bit musty and could really use with some fresh air. I’m sure it was cleaned, Just outdated.
A perfect hotel in the Financial District
Probably the best hotel in New York. It is unpretentious, perfectly maintained, comfortable, and atmospheric. A delight. 10 out of 10
The hotel was clean and maintained. There is a lot of outside noise that you can hear from the inside of the hotel room. I was on the first floor.
Public transit is great around this area
Staff was very accommodating after I found a bed bug in my room and gave me a new room. Luckily, no further issues have arisen after the fact, though I did have to go and wash all of my belongings to be safe.
Very friendly staff
Staff could be friendlier.
Very good location for a lot of tourist attractions and in a very cool and historic building! Understandably dated, but very clean and comfortable accommodations
Everything was perfect
A classic. Old but well-maintained. My favorite place to stay in FiDi.
Bad Odor
There was an open drain in my bathroom that smelled strongly of sewer all the time. I ended up closing the door to the bathroom to keep the smell in there while I slept and skipping my shower until I got home that evening to avoid the odor.
This historic hotel was conveniently located for my business needs. I hope to stay there again.
Wall Street visit
The people at the desk were nice. They extended me with no problem. The breakfast is weak, and the coffee watered down, but you're in NYC so there are a million places to eat. The location is fantastic, right behind Stone Street which is a very fun place with plenty to choose from for eating and drinking!!!
The property is very ornate with a lot of character. The staff was amazingly nice, professional and very helpful. The room is 5 star!!! Overall what a great place to stay....our first visit. We WILL be back.
Welcoming staff/ cozy room for breakfast
I have stayed here many times. It is very convenient for Wall st. Rooms are very comfortable, not terribly fancy, but more than adequate for a business traveler.
Great stay and hospitality
We loved being in a quieter area to visit Manhattan. The hotel has great transit options to get uptown. From the hotel we walked to Brooklyn, Chinatown, Stone St., NYSE, the World Trade Center / 9-11 site; and we even walked to Greenwhich village. For us, the location was great. I appreciated the fact that the curtains really were blackout, that the other guests were quiet, and that we slept well and felt rested each day for all the walking. The breakfast was simple but perfect for starting off the day. We would recommend this hotel for its location, policies, price, cleanliness, and convenience. We got a valet parking permit for CityPark only a few minutes walk away so our car was safely parked all weekend for a reasonable free.
Bad smell. When I complained they promised me half off and never sent it. Gave me the run around and the front desk lady Ana was rude.
Very quiet and clean rooms.
Perfectly adequate small inn. A little tired, but excellent value for the money and great location for visits to Wall St.
Great hotel - big rooms and a decent size bathroom. Only slight grumble was problem with lift on one day and the bath and basin plug mechanisms needed renewing.
Confortable beds and clean rooms, nice breakfast in the morning.
Lovely value for the price
Hidden Gem
A very nice place, I will be back!
Great, quaint place
Great location, helpful/friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing I wish is that the breakfast was a bit more. There were waffles and cereal, but not much else.
Lovely hotel. Good location. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel decor is quite dated but it is quaint and clean. Continental breakfast available every morning. Very comfortable beds.
Liked location
Warren
Very nice stay in an excellent area, but we were here during the October fest celebrations and it was very loud
Definitely the best place to stay in Manhattan! Staff was awesome and rooms were classy and quaint, breakfast was perfect as well, coffee all day. The price was VERY reasonable!!! I’ll be back!
safe area, nice staff. I’ll be back!
Was able to check in early the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The area was quiet and easy to get an uber. We enjoyed our one night stay. We were able to store our luggage there while we went sight seeing before our trip to the airport.
Vintage vibe but still in the city. Good location a lot food places around .
It's charming, old world in a sea of paint-by-numbers hotels. And the woman at the front desk was a breeze, a delight, and a stunning beauty. All in all, my 20 hours here were fantastic.
Heartily recommend!
Excellent overnight stay in charming well-located hotel.
Old fashioned charm in rooms with great updated bathrooms. Beautiful place within walking distance to EVERYTHING
If you have to stay overnight in the financial district, this is one of the cheaper options, and it’s a good hotel. No issues finding the place or checking in, although the scaffolding around does obscure it a bit. They likely can’t do anything about the neighborhood; unhoused people sleeping on the streets, drunk people peeing and vomiting in the gutters, etc. That’s city life (at least until we develop the political will to guarantee housing as a right for all). The room was nice, as advertised, with a working fridge and thermostat. The air is loud, I actually wore earplugs to sleep! Both sink taps were set to hot, which was a bit odd for tooth brushing, but I let them know and they said they would get that fixed. The shower is good. Plenty of towels and bedding. You can’t really open the windows but with all the scaffolding that’s probably not safe at the moment. Speaking of, you can take the elevator to the roof and it’s an open construction site! Crazy. Breakfast is good, includes waffles, cereal, toast, pastries. Limited teas. Check out easy. Great location for buses and subways.
Beautiful hotel in the city. Not too big. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Old world aesthetic was awesome
Nice cozy hotel with great location
Nice cozy hotel with one of the best location. Can't beat the price.
I liked that it was exactly as advertised. Clean, austere, very 1980s wall street. It was exactly what I needed after a hectic fundraiser ride and returning to the city for a quiet night before heading out for a day of adventure. The price was reasonable and fair.
I like everything about the property, staff and location. However, it would be nice to have at least one microwave, and a toaster over in the lobby to heat leftovers or the cinnamon Bunns. A small refrigerator in the rooms would be welcome. I enjoyed my stay given the nice decor and close proximities to everything I needed.
Nice hotel but the carpet in the very old and it smells. Breakfast os ok but could be better
Great location
Bathroom smelled like vomit. Housekeeper did not think guests would notice.
Great location
Excellent location, cute small hotel, I will recommend it
Great choice
Great location . Nice property
The room had some bad smell and the window can't be opened to have fresh air. The outside of the hotel building is under renovation. The area is relatively quiet during night. Included breakfast had almost nothing.
Recommend
I love the Wall Street Inn and I’ve stayed here before. The rooms are comfortable and have a homey feel. The carpets could use a good cleaning and some probably need to be replaced but the inn is a good option for those looking for convenience in the Lower Manhattan area.
Good location, great big room no smells quiet and comfortable
So much more!! Beautiful!! Wonderful staff!! Super clean.
Area was great. Tons to eat and sight see. Really hated the construction around the building. Terrible view outside window and also, there was a construction worker right outside our window on the third floor, which was very uncomfortable for us.
Staff was very friendly and helpful
great
All great
I did this already, however, I'am familiar with this area and my University within this community (Pace University) it was agreeable. I was so tired but I rested well way too tired for breakfast so I can't comment.
Classy old style hotel. Loved it
Very clean & quiet
Hotel is a little bit dated. In the morning carbon monoxide alarm went off. Two service guys replaced it, but couldn't explain the reason for alarm.
Wonderful location. Very European feel. Nice furniture. Very clean. Lovely breakfast. You can make your own waffles. They even have umbrellas in the room in case of rain. Delmonicos is a block away. South street seaport is a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend. Excellent value.
Comfortable and convenient
Comfortable and convenient. Has a nice old New York feel about it.
great
we love the place, great location
Everything was perfect, just the smell in the room was funny, like too old, maybe because we can’t open the windows, but everything else was perfect 👍
Great hotel
Good location
Such a welcome surprise—an affordable hotel in a ‘tony’ neighborhood that exceeded all expectations. I will be staying here again and again.
I loved this place
Charming and friendly hotel in great location.
This hotel has amazing value for the cost, clean room, and some food options for breakfast. My room was ready upon arrival. It’s a quick walk from the subway. The staff appears friendly and welcoming. The Cons- when I checked into my room I noticed a QR code card for in-room dining. I chose to go explore NYC and return and take advantage of eating at the hotel. I ordered from the card and after waiting an hour, I called the front desk and was told they no longer have in-room dining and that the QR code should have been removed. I was charged and had to dispute the charges with my bank. It was late and I had to go to bed hungry. I was awakened too early by construction outside and housekeeping knocked on my door around 8am.
I like this place. It’s a little gem in the middle of the Financial District within walking distance to a lot of great places. Also Stone St is just there. Always like to stay here when I can
An old fashioned hotel, not modern or flashy, but really, really clean, comfortable bed, good shower, and incredibly quiet, due to thick walls. My window overlooked the street, and I didn't hear a thing outside. My only complaint was that the wi-fi was spotty, and the signal dropped now and then, but in the long run, the quiet and comfort more than made up for that. I will stay here again.
This was my first stay at The Wall Street Inn and I was very pleased! I always stay in this area during my summer visits to NYC. The room was a bit musty upon arrival but I left the door open while I ran the AC for a bit and all was good. The check in staff and breakfast staff were all super nice and helpful. My only complaint - On my last morning I was forced to wake up at 8:00am by a maintenance man drilling in an electrical closet adjacent to my door. I opened my door and he said nothing to me, he just kept drilling. Not the best way to wake up! I found out later that he was working on the elevator, only because I stood at the elevator for quite sometime and finally decided to take the stairs. So my suggestion would be, please wait to do maintenance things after 9am. Please put a note on the elevator door when it is not in service. ;)
This Hotel is one of the BEST properties I have ever stayed in NYC. Worst EVERY dollar. Don' bother shopping around the "Wall Street Inn" is the top!!! Can't say enough about it...It's CLASSY!!!!!!!
There is construction going on outside the property so you can't see the structure and need to enter under the scaffolding. There are lots of places to eat close by and the ability to get coffee and tea downstairs is great. I only give it the lower score because the elevator alarm was going off the last night I was there and then the elevator was broken when I needed to check out. I would definitely stay here again
I didn’t like how the property was super outdated . In the pictures, it looked like modern but updated hotel. It look like an old senior home
Todo estaba muy limpio. El staff fue amable. No había ruidos innecesarios! Me gusto mucho el area me volvería a quedar.
This hotel was the worst experience we could have . Most employees don’t know english at all and some have very heavy accent. Their elevator doesn’t work most of the times and they gave us the 6th floor room . my mom who is a disabled person had to climb all these stairs (every time took around one hour to go up or down) they said they can’t give us 2nd floor rooms which were not occupied since they don’t have any policy to help disabled people and they are not required to have elevator for disabled people even if it shows the hotel has elevator. I will take a law action asap since such hotel should not even exist. Terrible experience, terrible service, terrible customer support. Expedia is amazing helping us to fix the issue.
carpet in the room was worn out. Everything else was great in particular the staff, very kind and helpful.
Quaint property with easy access to harbor for statue of liberty tour and 9/11 memorial. Very small roads and tough to find this small hotel. It was sufficient for our purpose, a safe place to store our stuff while vacationing and a clean place to sleep.
Good price near Wall Street
I thought the decor in the room was a bit dated, certainly didn't take away from a nice experience though. Nice location near Wall Street and very reasonably priced. I would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful interior, well maintained, clean space and nice bathroom
Comfortable, great location!
Very comfortable small hotel with local restaurants and bars onsurrounding streets
