Nice place. Clean. Friendly staff. Off the beaten path, but well worth it.

The rooms are clean and cute. Breakfast was outstanding. Made to order and included with your stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was slow. Restaurant was closed.

Property is in a beautiful land, wall are not thick, you can hear everything. No water pressure to flush the toilet.

No elevator to the 3rd floor.

Nice Friendly Stay Away From Home

Very friendly customer service. They have nice outdoor patio tables and chairs, very open, clean outdoor space. I enjoyed drinking my coffee there. Would have stayed one more day if my time wasn’t so limited for this trip.

We were disappointed to learn that the restaurant was closed (for renovations). This was not mentioned in the Expedia listing or in the communication we received form the property. An on site restaurant was one main reason for we chose this property. Bad info! The staff was very nice and helpful.

The Village Inn Hotel

I was put on the 2nd floor, and there are no elevators, no phone, no hair dryer. There was even a sign in the bathroom that said "Do not throw toilet paper, etc. into toilet"! There was a loud chirping noise coming from the pool equipment late at night that lasted for hours, and there was a loud noise early in the morning that sounded like gardening that lasted for hours!

Booked because of the 24 hour airport shuttle which they do not have give you number to over priced second party shuttle that was worthless. Next I booked because had a restaurant and bar onsite so no need to get taxi or go anywhere else. Then found out there both closed because not busy. Then found out the whirlpool I quote no heater just bubbles working and ice cold. Lastly now hot water for shower in room. Couldn’t check out quicker left hour early to head back to airport. Thank god rented a car otherwise probably still there waiting for a ride.

Far from everything but quiet. Was annoyed that they didn’t have coffee or tea. Simple request but very inconvenient considering no stores around

This hotel is far from stores and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was closed; the AC had issues but they came to the room and fixed the problem. It is definitely the best hotel if you’re traveling with family.

you can not get security deposit back when you check out, the manager attitude bad, even you are check and pass inspection , this village Inn not reaching the standard of " Hotel" level, but you got pay the hotel rate. you just can say Motel

When we arrived at the hotel we were shocked by the appearance and location. Nothing like the pictures online. I booked a room with 2 beds and a sofa. The sofa was removed from the room and the surrounding area did not feel safe at all. The pictures made the hotel look much nicer than in person. When I questioned this and showed the pictures from online to the owner I was told that’s just how it is. I refused to stay and was told it didn’t matter that they would be paid regardless. Losing that money and finding a place we could rest and feel secure for the night was the best decision I have made. Let my mistake be your warning! Do a google street view of the location before going.

Nice homie feel, I booked this place last minute and was very satisfied!

Very nice and clean hotel. Great staff and the great air conditioning system which is a must. We had breakfast at the restaurant inside food was good and quick. Only bad thing is that uber take 15-25 minutes to pick you up and many would cancel. Airport is 12 mins away and San Juan is very close.

Really good service

The Village Inn should be a $89 per night hotel. However, do to the demand for affordable hotels in the Island they take advantage and overcharge for their beat up hotel. That is why I rather choose and Airbnb than a hotel. Which I will continue doing after giving a hotel a last chance.

Its a nice property just inconvenient that there's no elevators.

Advertised having a restaurant that did not exist.Just a non-functional designated space! When I arrived they said only breakfast there, but didn’t serve breakfast the 10 days I stayed there. No coffeemaker in room. Nearest place to eat is 4 miles away- if you like fast food- longer if not! Totally isolated location - no shops, restaurants, gas station. Nothing to do or see in the area- not even a place to walk. Very busy, dark, narrow, winding road to hotel. Dangerous during the day. Wouldn’t recommend driving at night. I stayed in room 3 which had an ill fitting metal door which allowed insects in when it rained. Dripping condensation on the ceiling that they claimed was due to the A/C, that the staff helped clean up. No public transport so you must have a rental. No natural light in rooms on ground floor. You either have windows completely open with no blinds/privacy, or blackout curtains. I cannot recommend this hotel for any reason.

Management and staff were very accommodating of our needs. Allowed early check in as our stay was going to end only 3 hours after official check in time. No cook available so manager prepared the lunch for us. Taxix not readily available. Rooms with 2 queen beds avilable on 3rd floor only. Pleasant, peaceful environment.

Clean and quaint property, but advertised on site restaurant. Could only get a cup of coffee on asking and that was so bad could not drink it and paid $7. Also book ended a week trip here, one night at each end and NO Hot water! Couldn't shower in cold water, no explanation

Village Inn is about a 15 minute taxi ride from SJU, the driver charged $32 from and to airport for Village Inn. The hotel is located in the country/hills, in a residential neighborhood. The construction of this inn is inexpensive, making the walls very thin, the room entry doors are thin aluminum. Every surrounding noise is easily heard. The room was very small, but clean. There is a small catina on the property serving bar food. I found the staff to be helpful

Staff is great, clean and pretty. Rooms are very basic. Warm water takes about 10 minutes to come out from shower head.

Very good customer service. Sebastián was awesome with helping me out as a new visitor. His bilingual skills were appreciated as I speak little Spanish.

This is a multi-story facility (Four stories) with no elevator. Also, the room design had a step up into the bathroom. Which made nighttime visits hazardous. In addition, you have to climb an additional staircase from the parking lot.

Literally a gang of people yelling in the courtyard at 10pm. Manager didn’t even do anything about it. I have nicer doors at my storage shelter than they have on their hotel rooms. Don’t let the pictures fool you, no hot tub. Must be a baby pool. No one was there to take our order or seat us at the restaurant. Had to go into the kitchen to ask for help. Not impressed. Do yourself a favor and find a new place to stay.

This is a beautiful hotel if you’re looking for some peace and quiet place. You’ll wake up to the sound of the birds. The only thing is that the food needs to get better, the price didn’t match the quality of food I was looking for. Overall, great hotel!

One big issue - no hot water for showering

The hotel is off the main area and the parking is decent. The hotel is clean but the room we stayed, there is no hot water so it was a little terrible for showering.

The property was cute. There is definite need for updating as the sheets were very scratchy and the bathroom smelled. The staff was very kind and double checked the bathroom for us. I’d say it wasn’t worth what we paid, but was a nice place to stay and would have been worth half of what we paid. The pool was very nice and clean! It is definitely in the forest so expect some loud birds.

Worst hotel ever

The place is not what they sell in pictures. The room was smallest than small, no hot water, no parking in the premises, there was a water leak in the bathroom, so the floor was always wet, the pool was dirty, there was not a hot tub, the service was terrible

Beautiful location, it was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant on site. The room was clean and had a comfy bed. Nice staff, courteous and friendly.

First time staying there and they treated us like family. Especially Giselle that every night we came back to the hotel she was there to great us and talk to us. We love it there and we plan to return.

I was really impressed with this hotel near the airport. It’s only about three minutes away from the main highway. Nice place to stay for a couple of days. The pool was also really nice.

We had a great stay . The pool was beautiful and the highlight of our stay. The service was great . Check in and out was easy and fast. Rooms were cleans.mQueen bed is comfortable. My cons are few. We stayed in family room and the bunk beds were shaky and felt unstable, it made me nervous that it would fall apart. Otherwise everything was great .

Comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. Nice pool. Less than 30 minutes from El Yunque and less than 10 min from the outlets. Nice seating area next to the pool.

Front desk wasn't that friendly or inviting to me and the drive up to it was crazy and not ample parking

Beautiful pool rooms safe clean quiet. Easy access to San Juan and area. The restaurant and some rooms are under renovation and I am sure will add to the properties experience once completed. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Pictured accurately.

Advertising continental breakfast but no longer serving. If you forget toiletries non in room. No room coffee maker but happy to sell you a cup of coffee.

Fine for a night

It was okay for one night, we just needed a place to sleep after landing in San Juan. The birds will wake you up quite early. Staff didn’t speak English and wouldn’t speak at all in either language but it was ok we got everything figured out.

This hotel looks more like a motel the walls are thin you can hear the person next to you. Also, the owner Marva is very unprofessional i wanted a refund due to the service and the cleanliness and she refused to refund me. I then gave the key to the manager which i heard Marva (owner) upset and cursing about the situation while on speaker. The rooms are also super small the door entrance looks like is not safe they don’t even have a guard there and also no restaurant they only serve drinks.

Perfect for my large family. We had 3 queen sized beds & a triple bunk bed.

What a hidden gem I love it here

The Hotel is almost 4KM from a main road. Therefore, it was pleasant being in the mountains but not that far from civilization.

Clean room. On-site parking. Friendly staff. The price was right. The neighborhood surrounding it was really loud, but that’s not the hotel’s fault.

Overall, it was all really good. A couple of small improvements I would suggest: - having remotes for the A/C unit in the room would be nice, as opposed to having to run to the office - the pool could have been a bit wormer - mosquito nets in the windows would be preferable let the fresh air in as opposed to the plastic foils Thanks

Enjoyed our stay

Our family of three stayed there one night before our flight out of San Juan the next day. It was by no means cheap, but it was cheaper than the hotels closer in, and it included parking. We had a huge room with 3 queen beds and a triple bunk bed (only room offered on hotels.com). Full sized refrigerator, microwave, nice bathroom. Pool area was nice, pool clean. For the price paid I expected coffee in the morning, but they don't do that. The location is nice, about a 5 minute drive to civilization. The Coqui frogs were loud, but cool.

The property is situated a little bit up in the mountains in a secluded area but it's soooooo quiet and peaceful. It is a BEAUTIFUL Inn, with a BEAUTIFUL pool, especially at night.

No hot water, staff was not friendly at all. Very small pool, we asked if we could use after check in they said yes when we called but once there they said no. Do not recommend at all and too expensive for what property is. Not worth the money at all.

In the first place, I asked for a double room and due to repairs they changed me to the little houses, which I understand was beneficial, but the little house has a super small shower and my husband, who is 6 feet 3 inches, practically did not fit in it and he spent a lot of work to bath. They should also improve the crockery because although there was a coffee maker there were no cups, there were only flat plates and two glasses, I had to buy plastic cups, paper towels, and deep plates. I understand that some adjustments can be improved. It was clean and the bed was super comfortable and they had free Roku TV and internet access. I would recommend it and will definitely return.

The staff was very sweet. The room was clean but very small,did the trick for a quick stay to use the pool. The pool area was clean but the pool was not.

Need more dining options closer than 5 to 6 mins.
