It was great and the area was cute

Comfortable stay for one night. The room was quite small but had everything we needed and was clean. Only disappointment was the shower. Had a lovely rainfall head but the water pressure was terrible.

Booked for trip to St Andrews for women's open golf. Was pleasantly surprised by very fair price in comparison with many other hotels. Could not have been more pleased with our choice of hotel. Great facilities. Fantastic breakfast and super friendly staff. Will recommend to friends for similar trips.

Hotel cancelled our booking approx 3 hours before we were due to arrive. They/expedia did sort alternative hotel but not in same location. This apparently was arranged 2-3 days before - would have been nice to let the guests know? Can confirm that Dean Park is a nice hotel if you want something in Kirkcaldy.

No Wi-Fi connection in the room. The Wi-Fi works in reception & restaurant only. Free parking with lots of space. Breakfast is standard but it won’t make you feel full.

Excellent one night stay with very friendly greeting on arrival. Plenty of safe parking . Lovely comfortable and clean room with everything needed . A huge shower that was amazing. Evening meal was very good, freshly cooked with great selection and good prices. Breakfast was great too. Id stay again anytime i was near there.

Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Easy to find and parking excellent

Nice bright room not a lot of dining options.

Wifi signal was very poor in our room so essentially unusable. The heating was full on even though it was unnecessary and there was no way to control it so we had to open a window: one was painted shut and the other one wouldn’t stay open. The restaurant was mediocre.

RUINED MY MARATHON!

after weeks of training for edinburgh marathon i booked this hotel but on arrival was told they had nothing listed of my reservation and was fully booked. this staff did nothing to help until i told him to ring another hotel which he did. but this other hotel was also fully booked. eventually i gave up running the marathon because these other hotels were charging unreasonable amounts. very greedy. all my weeks training running over 60 miles a week to be ruined by someones greed. its enough to put you off scotland for life. eventually i found a hotel in alnwick. but i had decided i was not running the marathon. i believe victoria hotel cancelled my booking and sold it to another guest for more money. its the first time this has ever happened.

I returned from a trip to Dingwall on the Sunday and was looking forward to a High Tea however, when I reached here I was advised that the Kitchen was being rewired so, there was no availability of a High Tea, which was disappointing.

A 3-night stay using Kirkcaldy as a base to visit Edinburgh, Dundee and St Andrews by rail. Well located for this. Hotel was recently refurbished, bar and restaurant were excellent. Only downside was the room was small and cramped for a 3night stay for 2 people. Very good for a single person or overnight. Need a bigger room for a couple or longer stay.

Old style Scottish hotel, with lots of original features, friendly helpful staff and we had a lovely big bright room on the upper floor, with tea and coffee making facilities. The room was very clean, but the blinds did not keep out much light and there was a lot of street noise as Victoria Road is quite busy. The location is in a mainly residential area, so not that much around - we were there on Tuesday night and the two nearest eateries were closed. There are more in the town, which is about 10-15 minutes walk. The hotel has a bar and restaurant with a very traditional menu - our experience of the food was mixed, I had liver and bacon, which I enjoyed. But me wife had lasagna, which was undercooked, had far too much cheese and sauce, very little meat and no actual lasagna!! Great caramel crunch pudding made up for it though.

The hotel was in a convenient area of Kirkcaldy. The staff, from the room service to the bar and restaurant, were excellent; professional, helpful and friendly. This was my second visit to Kirkcaldy in almost 60 years; my first was to a cousin's 65th party at The Victoria some 11 years ago. Kirkcaldy, itself, was immensely disappointing (mind you, whoever goes back to a place they were born and brought up in finds that it is otherwise) but The Victoria exceeded expectations. A huge thank you to all the staff.

Good hotel

Hotel is only half a mile or a ten min walk from the station. Friendly staff, rooms are smallish but comfortable and functional. Breakfast very good and cooked to order. Only slight niggle was that the room was a little cold on arrival and although there is a radiator it wasn't on. The issue wasn't there overnight or in morning,

The property was walkable for work and meetings. The staff were reasonably friendly. I had a do-not-disturb sign on my door while I was out and yet staff entered the room.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here & it never disappoints. Staff are extremely polite & friendly, lovely facilities, room was nice & warm (it was freezing outside). Great breakfast in the morning, & all with a smile. I can't praise them enough. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel was a real treat to stay in. My sisters and I were attending a family funeral and could not fault the Victoria Hotel. Every staff member was efficient, friendly and could not do enough to help us. Errin immediately offered to provide a packed lunch when there was a problem with our train travel. We sampled breakfast, high tea and dinner all of which were excellent. We had a very positive experience and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Hotel was what expectations of the property prior to arrival. My only complaint would be the shower required a thorough clean as what looked like huge snorter on wall

Liked the hotel. It’s very cute, giving vibes of old town. Bad thing is that as it’s not the city, there were not too much restaurants around, and there’s no uber around. Taxis were not available for our return to the airport and that made me nervous (but if I knew that, I would have reserved it with time, so also my responsibility. Coming from a tour and the city, I was expecting the same accessibility. But the hotel and staff are REALLY KIND and NICE. I liked them a lot.

Front desk was not occupied when we arrived. Not a big deal as the staff was in the lounge and available to check us in. Room was VERY hot even fan could not cool it down. Staff was friendly enough. Just not much in close proximity that was open after 6:00 PM.

We are so surprise to get the big room .very clean and modern inside.

Good stay overall. Lack of air conditioning made sleep a little difficult in the summer. Room well equipped including USB plugs for charging devices. Good breakfast, excellent staff and nice rooms. Biggest complaint is the lack of pressure in the shower; the water pulsed and was so low that soap was difficult to rinse off and washing long hair was impossible.

We were walking the Fife Coastal Path and were about to collapse from exhaustion and hunger when we made it to this hotel. We nearly cried with joy when we got there. Lovely and delicious restaurant, clean and beautiful room, and great location. The staff were wonderful. This town had absolutely zero restaurants open when we got there (5 pm Sunday? why was this? a mystery) but no matter, this hotel was thankfully open for dinner and it was great.

Very nicely refurbished hotel and friendly staff, however the kitchen expelair was two feet from the only window in the room which had to be open as outside temp over 20c and no air conditioning and the cooking smell was horrendous, fish in particular. So bad that I had to leave the room and it certainly put me off eating there. At the rear of the hotel is a snooker hall where throughout out the evening and quite late into the night a lot of noise was heard and much shouting etc. Shame as it is a lovely well kept hotel with nice staff.

Very pleasing experiance. Courtesouly greeted and checked in even at late night by Tam. Tam was very helpful. Great service. Loved the breakfast served on the table. Hot, presentable, quality and taste. Didnt even had this personalized service experiance at 4/5 star properties. Rooms are all redone, fresh, spacious and practical. Wish windows are easy to open especially during summer times.
