Rooms are nice need pool update

Bad condition and needs updating post covid

Pictures were taken before covid it seems. The pool is green with algae and unusable, tiles falling off and open drains in the bottom of the pool. As for the room, it is tired and wasn't particularly clean. Sockets falling off the wall and random holes in the wall. The area is not touristy but does have a shopping centre near by (the one "attached" is over a bridge and closed). It was a shame as it was the end of our trip and we had to go to starbucks every morning for breakfast as the hotel felt dirty and the breakfast was some hard croissants and 2 choices of cereal. Unfortunate to see as it seems to be a casualty of covid (the magazines in the room were from 2020).

The hotel was fine the pool needs update

The property was dirty and our room was very smelly. The first room we got had ants and after the complaint they moved us to another room. The second room was smelly of mold. After a day when I opened the washer there was old water left inside of the washer and the smell was the source. Although after I complaint they changed the washer but the moldy smell would not go away. On a positive note the staffs was nice and ready to help.

It is one of the best hotel for the money. In all the places that we have stayed in Thailand, I have to say that this property is one of those property you look forward to coming back to from a long day out. The staff are amazing and helpful, the bedding and rooms are clean. Each room has a cloth washing machine. The property currently has construction going on in the street as the city is building their infrastructure. It doesn't affect the view nor the experience. Food are near by. The restaurant in the hotel has great food. The air-conditioning in each room are hign quality and cools rather quickly. I highly recommend it to all family and friends. Will be staying there again.

The construction makes getting to the market and back very difficult.

Very nice place worth every baht

Everything was great except the hot spring pool wasn’t exactly hot when I got there but then later on it was warm but still not exactly hot. Also the sauna wasn’t on. Not a big deal but I did choose this location solely for the hot spring pool and sauna. on a side note, the breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had in Thailand. The food was good quality and many choices and variants. Best part was, the coffee was brewed coffee!!! Like really good brewed coffee and not the typical powdered coffee you see in Thailand.

Hotel is along way out of central Bangkok. It is very basic, especially the breakfast. There is an excellent night market across the road.

A great place to stay near shopping, night market (Thursday-Sunday) and morning market. If you are going to be in the room some these apartment style rooms are perfect. Separate bedroom from kitchen and sofa / tv. Full size refrigerator and basic kitchen items.

A non-smoking room that wasn't

I picked this hotel because it was affordable and somewhat near BKK which was my primary goal since we only stayed here for about 4 hours. We arrived pretty late, maybe 12:30AM due to a delayed flight into Bangkok and had to leave around 4:30AM to fly out of Bangkok back to the US. The taxi driver didn't know where it was, but called the establishment and got directions. The staff was helpful. Our room, while marked as non-smoking, was clearly used by many smokers. Granted, you didn't see smoke lingering in the room, but the smell of smoke was enough to give me and my wife a headache pretty quickly. The room itself was nice, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The "common" bathroom's shower didn't drain. We were so exhausted that I can't comment on the comfort of the bed. We'd probably think a slab of concrete was comfortable. :) I don't recall it being uncomfortable by any stretch.

Lovely hotel, close to airport

Not much to do close by, there was a market across the overpass bridge but it was all vintage and secondhand clothes

Big rooms, inexpensive price

Good value for what you actually get. Rooms are really big, and I like the shower bathtub combination in the washroom. Every room has a washing machine, so if you are staying longer term it is really useful. Gym if functional, there is sauna and a pool. Personally, I am not a big fan of closed swimming pools in Thailand, but it is what it is. There are big shopping malls around, so there are a lot of eating options. Breakfast seems to be included with every room which is a really nice bonus.

Good facilities

The room is really spacey and comfortable. There are bedroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. However, living room, dining room and kitchen are in one area. Really suitable for family and business as well. Different ports are provided for connecting your devices to TV. The breakfast was delicious with enough choice. The staff was really helpful and took initiative to guide me to the night market. Please refer to the pictures. The hotel has total of 23 floors. Each floor has 4 units. You can enjoy the quietness.

Service from the night duty female manager was bad. Gave us an annoying face when requested for extra towel, even sigh over the phone.

Comfortable

Nice stay, the hotel room was nice and big, although they could pay closer to detail when cleaning. Hallway smelt unpleasant

The staff were friendly enough and fluent in English but as others have said, the location is far from anything but the mall across the street. I wouldn't recommend it for any first timers to Bangkok. Also, the breakfast buffet was a disappointment.

Worth my stay!

Everything is good except breakfast could be better with slightly different menu everyday.

A glimpse luxury surrounded by shopping haven.

The location is fantastic! Huge choices of local food and the handful of malls within walking distance of 5-10 mins. The room could have been cleaner. There were hairs on the pillows and the bath tub. Wifi were erratic. Would highly recommend for the family with full kitchen facilities (cups, wine glasses, plates & knives) as well as 2 units of TV-s!

Great Location

Nice two room suite with a kitchen area. Located right near a fantastic night market and across the street from two large shopping malls.

Nice room if you dont need to be downtown.

A little out of the way but, half way from downtown and the airport, but really nice suite.

The hotel is very spacious and comfortable. It is near to shopping mall. The breakfast spread is the same every day but no complain. Happy with the spread.

In the afternoon, I stay in the room 6th floor. You can hear birds singing and whispering outside the windows. It's nice feeling for a free day in the vertical suit hotel. Thank you!

Adequate Hotel for short stay

Spend 2 nights at Vertical prior to international flight. Located "near" airport and 200BHT taxi which is reasonable. The hotel is a good place to spend the last night in BK or transit. That is about it. While i can understand energy conversation, upon check-in the room assigned was extremely hot and took 30 minutes to cool down. The elevators and hallways were also not air-conditioned as well as the fitness room (had to ask to turn on AC) The rooftop restaurant and bar do not exist anymore and the cafe has marginal food/buffet and not really a bar as part of dining table service. Rooms were clean and rather spacious which was nice but it was very apparent they are trying to save money anyway they can which is never good. Nice night market across street and 2 large malls if shopping is in your plans. Not near the BTS but knew that when booking. A decent hotel for the minimal price but do not expect a typical asian 4 star hotel. Not sure why it is 4 stars.

Best shopping haven location

Great shopping location, just a short walk to the train market! As we booked for 2 people, the hotel amenities should have been prepared for 2 e.g. toothbrush set, towels... some lights in the main hall was faulty too & doorbell doesn't work.

Great hotel close to the airport

The staff hear are all excellent with the right attitude. The hotel is close to major shopping and very close to the airport. The pool level is excellent also.

Nicely decorated and comfortable Hotel

In between downtown Bangkok and the airport (about 20 minuets from both) Three shopping malls across the street. The beds are hard, but that is normal for Asian countries.

Good space at good price. Good amenities, near shopping.

Close to mall and park

The hotel was quite and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The best part was its proximity to the airport. The air con worked really well, almost too good! Only a few complaints. The shower didn't drain and I flooded the bathroom because of that issue. Also, the pool was really cold, not very comfortable for an evening swim.

The accommodations were great, spacious and modern amenities... Overall a good hotel.

Every single time when we request any services, soooo express services & way better than a 5 star brand name hotel. Staff - very very polite & quick respond & sooo friendly. Excellent on everything & can't fault anything at all. Soooooo Gooood !! Ok but not more

Don't go here unless you really have to. There is almost nothing here except for two huge shopping malls. The hotel does not have the restaurant any longer.

Big apartment but need maintenance and cleaning

We booked an apartment for 5 people . The Apartment is big and well furnished. Having said that it was not clean , especially the bathroom and the living room space. Also we could notice that the apartment needed a good maintenance . We could not close one of the window , one electrical socket was coming out from the wall and the shower was jammed in one position .

To far away from BKK airport

I like the hotel is very nice and clean. I do not like the distance is to far from BKK airport after that is good to go

WE HAVE BEEN MANY TIMES at Vertical Suite. The rooms are spacious, with all you need for a convenient stay. Very close to 3 shopping center. Missing just a MTB or Skytrain station.
