average hotel in an area that is easy to walk around. our room wasn’t ready until after check-in time so be careful about booking anything on your arrival day. probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Loud music but great stay

Great location, hotel was amazing but loud music from next door late into the night every evening until 3AM.

The staff and rooms were gorgeous. The restaurant upstairs was so good we kept going bavk instead of finding other places to eat. They were just lovely and helpful. Highly recommend.

Although the room looks good in the photo, it's not well provisioned. There was only one drawer to store any clothing and it was half occupied by the blow dryer. So, my wife an I had to live out of our luggage for the 5 nights. Additionally, there was absolutely no room for toiletries in the bathroom. Again, we had to create a make-shift arrangement to access our toiletries. The bathtub in our room was unbelievably slippery and there was no rubber mat to place in the tub. My wife actually slipped and fell once during our stay. There was no desk or chair in the room, so to work on my computer, I had to go to the rooftop restaurant and work. Finally, the lighting in the room was extremely poor. My wife, who loves to read, could not read in the room, at all. So, for 643 Euros (or almost US$ 700) per night, you would think the hotel would be more accommodating and comfortable. But, it wasn't. I will not stay here again.

The staff was vey accommodating and the hotel had a great location. Many dining options in the area. Our room overlooked the Borghese Gardens. Wonderful place to stay!

Stayed here after getting off a 7 Day cruise. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was extremely clean and smelled great! There is also a rooftop restaurant/bar which has a great view. Hotel location was not too bad a walk from the train station (about 2km), It’s also very central so you can walk to all the major tourist sites (Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Vatican City, Basilica, Spanish steps, etc) all within a 3 hour loop). Definitely recommended.

Nice property and staff was super friendly and helpful. Location maybe not the most perfect for first time visitors, as a bit far from some major attractions which increased costs to use taxis or unless you walk farther than we can! Found several terrific coffee shops and smaller family restaurants nearby. Rooms a bit small but very clean.

Staff was welcoming upon arrival and provide high quality service. They offers us good advice for local eateries, sights, and booked us cabs.

The staff of the Tribune is very welcoming and helpful! The hotel is clean, however there are a few irritants… the hotel room assigned to me had only one USB charger outlet .. one one side of the bed … not useful if you are two people in need of charging accessories or phones at the same time! I would expect a hotel and nightly rate in Canadian of $ 500 a night to offer more convenience.. the room was nice but only had one small chair to sit on… we were unlucky but there was no hot water for two days which was fixed but unpleasant for these two days… also as the floors are tiled each time some moves a piece of furniture you here the sound .. this is especially true in the morning as I assume people are getting ready and housekeeping cleaning rooms!! It becomes quite annoying!! The shower sliding door made a very load noise when sliding in both directions and again something I would not expect in a hotel of this calibre. The location is close to a boulevard making it very noisy at all times of the day but this is Rome and it is pretty noisy everywhere! I have been to Rome several times and the hotel is located on a street where it is a little spooky at night to walk on and there is not much life… overall a comfortable clean bed.. great and helpful staff

It was awful hotel anyway u look at it. They did not clean rooms . Not even a water bottles in the room. They stole my daughter’s hair straightener. Ruined her vacation. Do not go there even when if it is free.

Nice and quiet

Nice clean property with a good sized family room. Facilities are well maintained with daily room clean, however, restock of tea, milk and water was non existent and we had to request it to be done every day. Location is ideal and most popular sites are within walking distance. Overall nice hotel and would stay again.

Lounge upstairs was great

We checked in Friday last minute March 25th and was provided a room as well as an upgrade. Front desk staff was very Friendly and spoke English well enough. The room was small but very cute, cozy and clean. Nice bathroom. There was strange smell from bathroom 2nd night, but the front desk did everything to please us and make it right. Hotel is exquisite in looks and has a roof top restaurant and bar. The service we received by George at the restaurant was superb. He was such a great waiter, made such a good wine recommendation. Very friendly and attentive. Kudos to the chef, the food was absolutely delicious!! We would stay here again as it is highly recommended and can't beat the price. Five stars! Tom and Vanessa

Friendly staff, great service, good food in the hotel restaurant. Only downside was the lighting in the rooms - too dim for my personal preference.

Hyatt Hotels around the world have the most comfortable beds. No where else, not even at home do I recharge so much after sleep! The location was very good and centric. I was upgraded to a very nice room with a balcony and view

The room was good but the staffing at the hotel was bad. There was usually only 1 person at reception and they couldn't send service to the room due to supposedly being the only person working in the hotel. They only has 3 irons for the whole hotel. I kept asking for an iron and was rild no one has called to return one. No one is going to return one until the end of their stay. They did not attempt to call the rooms to ask. For 4 days I had to go out wrinkled. I finally checked out before an excursion and checked into another hotel after.

My prepaid room was canceled and I was given a room 20 minutes away. The change was made one day before. Not happy!

Great location. Very unique amenity in that they provided us a phone with SIM card to use for free during our stay. This included free phone calls and GPS for getting around town.

I liked that hotel is very new:)) and stuff at the front-desk is very friendly and young :)) only one think I didn’t like one stuff (women) at the breakfast..she was not nice ...but the rest was really amazing to stay there :)) very happy ;))

The property is modern and the location is fantastic. In my opinion, for the price The Tribune is better than many 5 star rated hotels in Rome. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The gym was under renovation during my stay,

This hotel was such a great find. Really nice hotel and location was perfect for me. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It's right by Via Veneto and it's walking distance to most of the sites. A little bit of a walk but it's all beautiful and worth it. The breakfast has a great selection and the complementary drink when you arrive is nice! Would definitely stay here again.

Okay Stay

Overall, a decent stay. Location is pretty good, but if you're spending most days walking, it can feel a little far from all the tourist attraction (but everything's definitely walkable). The room and bathroom was pretty nice. We got a classic room and it felt a little cramped, in terms of walking space) for two people. A little disappointed by the service/workers there. The people at reception were on the ruder side. The language barrier felt greater than other hotels I've been at, which is fine until you need something... I made a request to the front desk and they jot down my room number... and I never got the item (I don't think they understood me). I think 90% of the staff had a hard time understanding me, which isn't a problem.... if you don't understand me, fine, but please do ask or clarify... I don't want to be sitting in my room waiting for an item that's never going to come. I had a "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door one day, but when I returned, I found a notice from management sitting on my laptop... which is fine, but if I have a do not disturb, I don't want anyone coming in. There's no access to a microwave, not for external use. Breakfast was good. The WIFI... was literally the worst. Everything was running so slowly. I ran a speed test once and got 2.95 Mbps. There were several instances where Reddit wouldn't even load. I've stayed at cheaper places with better internet than this. Also the elevators are slow and not very responsive.

Was amazing stay. The staff were great and always willing to help. The rooms are perfect and the location is great. Will highly recommend to stay here in all aspects. We got uppgrade for being vip in orbitz it was great.

The property was clean and modern. Rooms were well appointed and in good repair. I loved the tile floors. The staff was mostly friendly and the rooftop bar had great views.

Did not like at all, small hotel chain without structure to face unexpected, our first room as smelling really bad (sewer), they change us for a room at the hall floor which was OK and a day later change us to floor 4 which was also OK. There is no room service, all you need you need to go yourself at the roof bar even a knife, fork, plate or whatever. The staff is very friendly. metro station is really far away, 20 minutes at least walk. Rather look for better option next time for sure.

Spacious, new and modern hotel - great location. Next to Borghese, restaurants, and walk through subway to Spanish Steps.

Located in a quiet area about 15 minutes walk from the trevi fountain. Free minibar advertised is 3 soft drinks and 3 waters which is not re stocked when gone. Staff at reception weren't very accommodating. There were 3 of us sharing a room but only 1 coffee pod. We asked 3 times for more to be brought to the room but it didn't happen. Room is small with poor lighting. Breakfast is nice.

Overall the customer service and attentiveness of the staff was top notch. The property is in a great location and very clean, maintained. We loved having a Nespresso machine in our room. The bed was very comfortable, the size Of the room was great also. All and all, we had a great stay at The Tribune.

The hotel is located near the Borghese Park, in walking distance to all the attractions. The place is very neat and clean, we visit the hotel before, unfortunately this time the staff didn’t care about food intolerances (breakfast), getting sick is never fun!

Rooftop bar was lovely and staff so friendly and hotel was modern.

Amazing stay. It was like a little sanctuary in the middle of the city. So close to the gardens too, made for the perfect morning walk. Staff went above & beyond, and the rooftop bar topped off the whole experience. My only feedback I suppose would be the plastic cups/disposable coffee cups in the room. In the interest of reducing waste/environmentally speaking I would prefer normal glasses and mugs.

Love, love, loooooooved this hotel. It was amazing. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Maria was sooooooooo helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Bathroom was clean, room was clean. The rooms were clean and free minibar. Breakfast selection was good too! Staff are very friendly and you are able to get a metered taxi within 5 mins. Entering the hotel, the smell of the air was great. Overall it was one of my best stays.

Stayed at this fabulous hotel for two nights prior to joining a cruise ship in Rome. The Tribune is in a fantastic location to see the sights with numerous restaurants everywhere. Close to the Hop on, Hop off bus stops. The staff were excellent and were always on hand to help out in any way they could. The iced water at reception was very welcoming when returning to the hotel. This boutique hotel is extremely modern internally and very clean, huge smart tv with sound bar. The bathroom again was extremely modern with a great shower, the bed was massive and very comfortable. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice of quality food, choices of cooked, cold, continental, everything that you would expect. Coffee was what you would expect from the Italians! Only small issue at breakfast was that it felt quite cramped whilst moving around but fine when sat at the table. On leaving, my Son had left an item of clothing in the room, I contacted the hotel team who had subsequently found it and arranged to send it back to us in the UK. Fantastic service and communication from the Tribune team. Would definitely recommend The Tribune and look forward to returning soon.

Excellent location near the Villa Borghese and the Via Vittorio Veneto, and just under a mile walk to the Spanish Steps. Modern amenities (shower, Nespresso machine) and friendly staff. If I was to be picky, I would want more closet/drawer space and English channels for the kids. Otherwise, A+.

Our second time two years in a row this time we recommended and met 5 other couples everyone told me they were very happy with the tribune excellent property!

We liked the hotel for its location and the beautiful roof top lounge and restaurant. The only thing I didn't like is that the steps going into the hotel are all blending and I almost fell a couple of times. Good thing my granddaughter caught me. Also the taxi driver fell flat on his face on the same steps.

The reception staff gave us a wrong instruction to park the car despite we confirm him twice hence we received a ticket for the penalty.

The location is very good . Just outside my window was a part of the original Rome city gates. This was quite a treat for me. So beautiful and rich in history. The room upgrades were a wonderful surprise. And the staff was very eager to accommodate my every need. In particular a member of the staff named Ginevra was Excellent!!! She was more than happy to escort me to the room of my Choice to make certain I was completely satisfied and comfortable for my stay. This is 5 STAR treatment! She walked me through all the details of my stay and what the rooms consisted of and allowed me time to think it over to make decisions. I thank you so much my dear for your kind hospitality and professionalism. Also, I would like to mention by name, Olga and Nicolas who assisted me on checkout when I was not feeling well with a bit of upset stomach. Too many treats at brunch I think 🤔 thank you you both for your professionalism and kind service. I will be staying here again when in Rome. This location is quiet just across from the Villa Borghese Gardens an walkable to major sites. Excellent stay!

Water pressure a little low Just one elevator But still it scores great

Very clean, sleek modern hotel. Lighting in room was only negative (low lighting for ambience in bedroom/sitting area but bathroom was brighter) nice size room for boutique hotel. Very helpful friendly staff. Nice breakfast was included. Good location near Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. Hop on hop off bus nearby which was great way to see Rome in short stay (bought tickets at hotel) lots of great restaurants (front desk staff recommended 2 excellent restaurants where the locals dine). Definitely highly recommend.

Tribune hotel

We enjoyed this hotel. The king size bed was comfortable. The staff was awesome! They spoke English. They were helpful. The most awesome part is they gave us a cell phone which was included in the room. Free calls to the US. Free Google maps and whatever apps. Then there was breakfast. It was really good. They had egss, bacon, fresh fruit, sausage, ham slices, and bread. Overall I enjoyed the 3 days we stayed. We stayed at 3 other hotels throughout our European journey and this was the best. I would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great property with location convenient to many attractions. Breakfast was simple and tasty. The roof deck offered great views of Rome and excellent service. Our room was made up to accommodate 4 guests comfortably. We would recommend to anyone.
