The staff was friendly and helpful and polite. I’m was amazed how the women bellhops could handle our heavy bags with ease. The entire staff could speak English well.

We picked the Tokyo Station because it sits atop the main Tokyo train station. Despite this, the hotel is serene and quiet; our room was scrupulously clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely attentive. Definitely an excellent choice for anyone traveling around Tokyo or Japan in general. Also an convenient location to/from Haneda Airport (just a subway/monorail ride away). Would definitely stay again.

Very pleasant experience.

The staff speak English and are very friendly. The room is very clean with very nice bed sheets. The bathroom is big and comfortable. The breakfast is great, but a little expensive. They do provide luggage forwarding service. Location is amazing.

Outstanding in Every Way

A totally splendid hotel, and a marvelous location with outstanding staff. This hotel qualifies as one of the all-time best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It just is lovely in every way, from the powerful hot shower to the super comfortable bed to the way the room is organized to the floor-to-ceiling windows. We were treated to wonderful helpful service about everything from how to use the subway to how to use public transit to get to the airport. There was nothing too much to ask of the staff at this wonderful property. I wish every hotel adhered to the standard of service, quality and care of this hotel. We will always remember it.

100yr old hotel with modern facilities whilst keeping its charm. Access from hotel into Tokyo station. Rooms spacious & very well appointed. Staff friendly & extremely helpful & considerate. Using a mobility scooter I asked a member of the reception staff for directions to the Shinkensen line. I was surprised & grateful that she escorted me down the corridor into the station, once there it was established I needed to go to the other end of the building. The lovely lady continued to escort me until I reached the correct area. Certainly above & beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Toyko Station Hotel & I look forward to staying there again

Fantastic hotel in the heart of the city and convenient for traveling to any place in Tokyo and or greater Japan. Absolutely clean and friendly with great service and breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay here again! First class service as only Japan can offer. And this hotel exceeds the usual high standard of service that can be found in most places in Japan. Great stay in central Tokyo!

After a 25 day cruise, our stay in Tokyo was exceptionally relaxing and enjoyable. This was a great hotel.

My wife and I have stayed in a number of hotels over the years, and I have to say, this was by far the best experience we have ever had. The staff at the Tokyo Station Hotel were outstanding, and that is an understatement.

I have to say that staying at The Tokyo Station Hotel was probably in my top 5 favorite hotels in the world to date. The staff were attentive, gracious, welcoming and very accommodating. The hotel was very nice and convenient to cabs and train transportation. I highly recommend this hotel and will be staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Wonderful stay

We had a fantastic stay in Kagoshima. Hotel is in a brilliant position with a tram outside which will take you to Kagoshima Chuo railway station. They also have their own bus transfer every 15 mins. Please be aware that you need cash on trams and buses in Kagoshima, IC cards not accepted there. Sukarajima view rooms are worth the extra money.

Convenient to the station and with a wonderful old world vibe. And as everyone says don’t miss the breakfast which was honestly gorgeous.

Great location and hotel!

We were met at the Shinkansen and escorted to the hotel. The service and room were excellent. They have a great breakfast buffet too. This is our favorite place to stay in Tokyo. It attached to the train station which makes it so convenient to catch a train or the Shinkansen. Plenty of places to shop and eat are nearby.

An amazing hotel! We generally would not spend this much to sleep in a downtown hotel, especially after a 19 hour flight, however this property warrants every bit of the premium - a meticulously restored and outfitted facility with every amenity. We highly recommend the Tokyo Station Hotel.

Beautiful property. Pretty sure they upgraded my room as it was a large corner suite. The bed was comfortable the room quite, the shower massive it was greatly appreciated, the electronic toilet really cool. While the hotel is stunning the real value is below, in that anywhere you need to go in Tokyo the subway entrance is walking distance just just below you. I will most definitely return, it made sightseeing in Tokyo and access to BOTH airports (I flew into Narita and left out of Haneda) a breeze. Only thing I didn't care for was the young woman escorting me to my room intially was trying to get me to take a $60usd car service to HND telling me its easier than the subway. You don't need a car service or cab ever in Tokyo unless you traveling after midnight before 5am. There is a monorail directly to HND 1 stop over on the subway. Make sure your phone works in Japan it made getting around very simple. I look forward to my next stay at this historical property.

I planned to stay there for only one night, but because of the typhoon, I had to stay an extra night. The front receptionist was accommodating and friendly. I also tried their breakfast buffet on the 4th floor, which I enjoyed very much, especially the Japanese-style breakfast. The restaurant's atmosphere is very pleasant. I would stay with them again when I visit Tokyo next time. Their location is convenient, though it's like a maze inside the Tokyo station; you can expect to walk around more before you find your way.

Amazing location within the train station. The breakfast buffet isn't cheap but is well worth the experience. In fact, it was the best meal we had in Tokyo, and only available to guests!

Ideal location and Very professional service

This hotel is exceptionally well located on top of, and connected with, the Tokyo train station (Tokyo’s busiest train hub) and adjacent to the Marunouchi metro line. Hotel has an aura of prestige, staff is very helpful (including the concierge service) and devoted. Rooms are comfortable and have all expected amenities. Beds are comfortable (by Japan hotels’ standards, which means slightly firmer than I would have liked). There are a number of dining options on site but many of them are fairly expensive, especially the ground-level Lounge. I would clearly book again if I were to travel to Tokyo in the future.

Amazing staff. So friendly and helpful. Ready to meet our every need. We received the most attentive service from the minute we arrived. For the price point in this area of Tokyo, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. I will definitely stay here the next time I’m in Tokyo. It is also the most convenient if you will be using any train services.

Great location, beautiful building, very nice and helpful concierge. The lady at the concierge went above and beyond to help us to locate the baseball tickets for Tokyo Dome and we got to enjoy the game; When we left the hotel, they sent someone to help us with our luggage all the way through the train station to the platform of the train to the airport. You can’t expect better service! We are very grateful!

The property itself is a historical building, very special and unque, and they do a good job to maintain it. It is clean even though I stayed in a smoking room but I didn’t smell anything. Great job!

I liked every single thing about this hotel. Only caveat unable to watch any late movies in English. Which at best is not a criticism. I would recommend this hotel any day of the week

Wonderful service in a classy hotel. The staff met us at the Shinkansen and helped us navigate Tokyo Station, which would have been thoroughly overwhelming to do alone. The room was large and beautifully appointed and the breakfast buffet had so much choice. Pricey, but a wonder treat for our last night in Japan.

Historical Hotel

Always a fantastic pleasure to stay at this amazing hotel. It’s an integral part of the history of Japan. My favorite was the breakfast buffet. Certainly something to please every palate.

The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located by Tokyo station so you can easily access transfers to other parts of the city or the shinkansen. The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Loved the history and the layout of the hotel. The staff was outstanding, especially our concierge, Marie Antoinette. she was wonderful finding us a fantastic sushi restaurant on late notice and provided us with great transportation options. Marie Antoinette really made our stay seamless and more enjoyable.

The staff were incredibly helpful, going out of their way to help us buy our Narita Express tickets and even helping us navigate to the train. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Quiet and it is neat.

The question should be what was not to like??? And that answer would be, nothing!! This hotel was fabulous. The rooms large by Japanese standards, a super sized King bed, extremely quiet, never heard anything while in the room. Surprisingly since it is above on of the largest train stations in all of Tokyo. The staff is all about service! We were warmly greeted every time we entered the lobby area. The concierge was stellar!! We stayed here our last two nights in Japan and the concierge made two excellent dinner recommendations which turned out to be our favorite meals in Tokyo. The location is excellent, close to all types of transportation and the shopping area of Ginza is close by. The breakfast buffet rivals some of the world’s best hotel brunches and features American and Japanese options. That alone might be reason to stay here. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
