Everything was good, except that they don’t have a parking spots for guests.

Great location when staying in Halifax! This was for a wedding anniversary, and this hotel was perfect. Beautifully designed rooms, easy check in, friendly staff. Might make this a yearly tradition!

Awesome spot

Property is beautiful and Staff and service were amazing. Only problem was that the tub in our room was broken. The hot tub at the hotel is a seasonal hot tub as well.

Can't Go Wrong!

The Sutton Place hotel is high value for money -- though it can be prohibitively expensive at the height of tourist season. Excellent breakfasts; Chop a classic steak/seafood restaurant with a nice ambiance; the rooms vary in size but are well appointed and super clean; the gym on the 7th floor is first class; parking on site but beware the building doesn't allow studded winter tires so you might have to park off-site as we did (a ten minute walk back). The hotel is in the heart of all the action -- two minutes to the hockey arena, two minutes to Neptune theatre, five minutes down hill to the waterfront, ten minutes walk to the casino (where there are often excellent concerts such as Bruce Guthro's songwriters' circle).

Staff was wonderful, but 100 dollars a night for. Deposit is an absurd amount of money to ask for.

This hotel is super clean and centrally located in downtown Halifax. The staff are very friendly and gym is great for a hotel. Overall 10/10

Amazing staff and service. Hotel has great facilities including a corporate lounge which is perfect for working from the hotel and a fully equipped gym. This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at and I hope to visit again. Thank you Sutton Hotel for an amazing time in Nova Scotia.

This stay was incredible. The nicest hotel I have ever been in. Products in room were very high quality. Mini bar - mint. Room service superb. Chop restaurant had the best prime rib ever eaten in any place ever. Shower - stunning. Bed - exeptional.

Great check in, convenient location

Clean and modern. I did not like that the lights come on in the middle of the night when you go to bathroom! Maybe a bathroom light but not the whole room.

Nice roomy hotel near the conference centre with parking underground. Plenty of options for dining within a short walk.

New design rooms and no broken fixtures

When checking in, nobody told me they had velvet parking and other parking options. Instead we had to park ourselves. In addition, I called guest services to ask for 2 bottles of water around 11pm, I waited until 12am but nobody delivered water. I had to call in the morning to get 2 bottles of water.

Downtown with a fantastic view of the city and port. Staff was super friendly and welcoming.

For being next to a convention centre it was remarkably quiet in the room. Very well laid out room with everything you need. Would stay again.

Great Find In Halifax

We loved the Sutton Place Hotel. We had never been to Halifax so we weren't really sure if this would be a good location, but it was very convenient and it was easy to walk to restaurants and the waterfront. The front desk staff and bell staff were friendly and courteous. The room was small, but the decor was very updated and pretty - especially the bathroom. We also thought the price was very reasonable for an upscale downtown hotel.

The hotel is elegant. The rooms and bathrooms are so spacious and luxurious. The location is great! Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Close proximity to the Harbour. Valet parking was so easy and efficient. Would definitely return.

Adjoining rooms with a shared door are not as quiet as you would expect.

The lobby was very busy, and we didn’t realize Chop steakhouse had seating in the lobby, next to the desk. It didn’t feel classy or luxurious. The rooms were very quiet, comfortable bed, and the gym was great.

This place made me feel fancy! It was so nice, and in a perfect location. We walked everywhere, easily. All the staff, from valet to reception to bartenders were fabulous! Highly recommend

Decent property in central Halifax. Would have been a better stay if not for the fact that I received no housekeeping at during my stay. I'd come back from a day of meetings to find my room not cleaned. Otherwise staff is good and hotel gym / restaurant are decent.

We had pizza delivered and the dude at the front desk said nothing came. However when went down to the lobby, it was on a table.
