Beautiful hotel

The room I was given was nice but had some issues: - The queen bed was somewhat short and mattress quite worn and uneven which gave me a backache the first night. - There was also issues with the water pressure and I wasn’t able to shower normally. Issues were mentioned to reception on the first day but wasn’t resolved.

The Stratford is so nice. Absolutely loved my stay. The staff was super kind and helpful. My room was perfect and had everything we needed.

Very adequate 4/5 star hotel just that the design of it was a bit chaotic. The reception area wasn’t that nice. It was too small everyone you know you have to wait in queue. It doesn’t really it’s not a reception area. It’s just a place where you pick up the keys way before you get in the lift it’s more restaurant than anything. It’s more of a dining place in a drink place the rooms are just like Adidas an afterthought but overall very nice clean but it’s still very young hotel and it’s only just changed brands recently so it needs to kind of let Mariott stamp b it into shape in the next few years it will llstamp vernacular onto it and before you know it it will start delivering it the clientele that go there you know it’s kind of like full stuff first class hotel catering to people who don’t do first class so a bit patronising in a way

Had a great experience in this hotel. The gym was well equipped and definitely a plus for me. The breakfast staff were remarkable and the food was a delight. Looking for to having a family stay here.

A good location for the O2

Really well situated hotel, beautiful lobby and comfortable rooms. Staff at check-in and check-out were friendly. Breakfast was very busy and some things needed re-filling. Only issue was very loud music played until well after midnight, maybe due to the fact it was a Saturday night in December?

Fab stay! Made our night out even more pleasant

We were 4 adults sharing a quadruple. We had the best stay! The hotel is modern, clean & the room had everything we needed! Comfy beds, enough space for 4 to move around, a mini bar, coffee/tea facilities…& a stunning bathroom! The staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was the icing on the cake. Great offering in pretty surroundings. We’re from the opposite side of London & were in the area to see Abba & this hotel made our night out so much better. Thank you x

Great place with great space and location.

This hotel worked out wonderfully for me and my family. My wife and I were traveling with our elderly parents and other family. A party of 8 in total. This hotel offered good food at the restaurant and close proximity to all we needed for a comfortable stay. The mall was close to easily get groceries and snacks. And the station a train was close too. The rooms were comfortable, newer and spacious. We were very happy here.

My go to hotel when I’m in London. Amazing staff and rooms are immaculate.

A Curate's Egg

Although we arrived after 3:00pm our room was not ready. This was inconvenient as we needed to change and head out for an appointment. The room and bathroom were fine and well prepared. The room, however, was exceedingly dark and we needed all of the lights on to be able to see. We decided not to breakfast with you (a) because the tables were so closely packed and (b) the cost. Check out took a while as the only two staff on duty were struggling with the queue.

I stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. The hotel is very conveniently located close to trains and a lot of shopping and dining options. Room was great and facilities great.

Everything was ok

Lovely hotel, brilliant rooms, comfy bed and amazing bedding - the throws are so good I want one myself. Rooms are clean and the toiletries in the rooms are also really nice. Such a great scent to them. No hairdryer in the room which was a shame, and there could do to be a vending machine or something similar if you don’t want to spend on the room service and mini bar fees. I understand this is a better quality hotel but the option would have been nice. Check in was slow, and could have been more efficient than it was. Felt felt secure and would consider a stay here again.

The Stratford is a great property, we were there for 7 nights and didn’t have a single issue. Would definitely recommend staying here, it’s easy access to the underground and London attractions and having the mall 200 meters away really helps when you’re hungry and want some food.

My husband went for the bears game! He loved the stay and recommend the hotel!

Smart hotel with great rooms.

Very smart, new hotel. Great room facilities, including comfy beds, coffee machine, mini fridge, TV with Chromecast built in (plus sky sports!) and reliable WiFi. The location is very handy, with Westfield right next to it, plus you can get to/from st pancras in just 7 mins. Friendly staff too but our only small negative was finding we'd had a mini bar charge on our card after leaving, despite not using the mini bar.

The room was spotless. The beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again. Also great night to stay seeing the west ham team boarding their coach. Shame the shower didnt warm up, but that didnt stop anythibg

Double Double room is a great way to go away with a friend or with family.

This was my second time staying at The Stratford, and once again, it exceeded my expectations! The staff is incredibly welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and the warm atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning for my next trip!

Arrived quite early, did a pre-checkin. Staff were very attentive and stored our luggage till we were able to check in at 3pm. Room os spacious, tidy and clean Will definitely be coning back again if i am in this area again.

I’ve stay at the property before but at present I wasn’t pleased with the property as they put me in an accessibility room and were unable to offer support at the time. The room had minor cleanliness issues. I hope next stay will be better as they are usually provide great quality and service

Love this place. Conveniently located next to the Westfield mall and West Ham United Stadium. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. My kid left her wallet in the room after checkout, housekeeping found it and we were able to retrieve it. Very thankful!

Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of Westfields shopping centre and the international station.

Nice, clean and modern hotel. It was close to underground stations so it was easy to access to London city center. The staff was pleasant. Our room wasn't ready for a couple hours so we had to sit in the restaurant. it wouldn't have been so bad if we hadn't arrived from a long travel day (9 hour flight plus travel to hotel) but they tried to make it right by offering complimentary drinks.

Hotel was lovely. Bottomless brunch was excellent. Good choice of food and drink, to suit everyone. Hotel room was clean and spacious. Just a minutes walk to train and shopp8ng centre. Really good location for our ABBA Voyage night out. One stop away. Will stay here again, if visiting.

One of the best hotels I had the pleasure of staying at in London. Very clean and friendly staff. Our checkin was smooth and well informative. Our room was very clean and we had no complaints.

Transportation /safety and shopping

Not that common to find such a great spacious room for our family of five!

The Stratford Hotel is a well acquainted hotel with many pluses. The bed was comfy and cozy. The breakfast was delicious and warm. I would definitely stay again!

Lovely hotel in a really convenient location. So handy for Olympic Park.

Pros Staff all very welcoming and helpful. Room was large and clean. I arrived a bit early and was able to get checked in before 3pm Cons the room was so dark and one of the lights wasn't working but honestly would not have made any difference to the darkness. There is nowhere near a plug to sit and blow dry hair and forget it to see to do make up. I found the whole room very depressing. My room was either over a function room or near to pub as there was a constant background thump of music so not the best if you need quiet to sleep

Great hotel

Fantastic hotel, very attentive staff which made our stay all the more pleasant we came to see the ABBA Voyage show, so the location was perfect. Had light lunch on arrival at the hotel in E20 restaurant which was perfect and decided to have breakfast there the following morning too. Highly recommend

Just stayed for two nights and everything was exceptional. Room very big, clean and modern. Excellent location for the music venue and shops. Couldn’t fault anything

Great hotel

The hotel is impressive, both inside and out. We stayed in a double room and it was spacious, spotlessly clean and the walk in shower was lovely. The only downside was our poor experience at check-in. The young man at reception wasn’t very welcoming & didn’t tell us that we needed our room key to use the lift (so we thought we were stuck!) Overall though, we’d definitely stay again for the great location and room comfort.

Lovely stay at The Stratford for 2 nights whilst we attended concerts at the O2 and Tottenham Stadium - super convenient for both. Nice room & overall amenities. Only thing we’d have changed was the length of the bed, as it was noticeably short. I’m 5’8” at my feet hung over the bottom of the bed. My husband is 6’5” and had no chance! The beds, linens and towels were all really good quality, so this is a minor point really, but it might put us off rebooking again.

Comfiest bed ever

Comfiest bed I've slept in - even better than my bed at home! Almost worth 5 stars just for that. Great room size. Good room temperature, although a/c never got as low as we set it in the 3 days we were there, even with the blowers set to high. Sound-proofing not great, very noisy tv in next room, even at midnight. Didn’t like the rooftop bar/restaurant - pretentious with snooty staff - so we left and went back to the bar on the ground floor - whoch had a much better vibe. Overall very happy with our stay, and would happily recommend.

Nice 4 star hotel, handy for visiting ABBA Voyage

We stayed here because we were a little tired of the poor quality/service and inflated prices at the Holiday Inn Express and Travelodge, who both doubled their room rates once ABBA Voyage opened. The room was large, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a walk in shower and quality liquid soaps etc. We will definitely stay here again. It's just two stops on the DLR to get to the ABBA Arena.

Relaxing

I last stayed here a couple of years ago and I’m amazed how new the hotel still looks. Credit to the cleaning and maintenance team. But I wasn’t crazy about the experience here. The thermostat had a backlight that I could only turn off for a brief moment. So it lit up the room all night. It also wouldn’t let me turn the temperature of the room down below 23 degrees which was too warm. I turned it down when I got into bed but I woke up a few hours later and it had returned to 23 degrees. Power saving maybe? Just annoying. The king bed is 2 singles so I just slept on a single bed essentially. Not that luxurious. The shower wasn’t satisfying. The food in the restaurant was pretty bad too. A bland chicken dish with massive uncooked pearl onions. Served on a cast iron dish which was ridiculous and not pleasant to use cutlery on. The brasserie food used to be great with a quality wine list but clearly costs are being cut which is a shame but I can understand why.

Modern. Comfortable.

Easy checkin. Received an email prior to arrival offering a paid upgrade bid. Ended up with a spectacular room. Sadly we didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy it. Great breakfast. Comfortable modern vibe to the whole place.

Decor

Has a nice atmosphere in the lobby, feels like a luxury hotel. All round very nice hotel with good amenities. So quick to London.

A convenient hotel but perhaps a bit gloomy. Every thing seem to be grey!

The attached restaurant had excellent breakfasts available, which were included in the room rate. Location beside a large retail mall, and train and DLR stations made this an ideal place to stay. Also, was in comfortable walking distance to the ABBA arena. Really, there is nothing that needed improving!

We stayed as a party of 7 ladies to go and see Abba Voyage. We had a lovely stay and we all thought the hotel was perfectly located as within walking distance to the arena and the train station. The staff were brilliant and the rooms lovely and clean and very comfortable. We paid for breakfast separately- a little disappointed with the value for money here but otherwise a great stay.

Great location nice breakfast

Hotel is lovely, and great location. Reception staff not very friendly or nice to kids that’s my only negative. We booked a room for 5 with a small child and were then charged again for the extra bed £40 per night which I thought was unfair as the booking clearly said for 5. Otherwise nice place breakfast was great

Stratford hitel

No hot water, other than shower. Power sockets loose and some not working. Room very dark even with all lights on - e.g. could not see well enough to apply make up. Bed was comfortable.

Heavenly Beds

The room was huge and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The room was very quiet.

Please bring back the buffet!! Apart from that it’s an amazing hotel with amazing staff.

Modern hotel near olympic park and Westfield centr

Nice modern hotel. Room nice and roomy, bathroom had shower which was easy to use Breakfast was good and the eggs Benedict was excellent. Would prefer a sheet rather than a duvet as room was too warm, can't imagine a duvet in the summer. Near Westfield centre so ideal, plus lots of restaurants nearby too.

Nice and central for shopping and for the Abba Voyage show which was walkable. All round it was a nice stay.

Hotel decor was a little dark and the reception desk wasn't obvious.

Not great breakfast experience

extortionately expensive breakfast at 32 GBP had the audacity to ask for more money if i ordered a hot chocolate, bacon had more fat than bacon, hot food was not buffet it was per order with very small portions.

24 hour trip for shopping at Sephora!

Delightful stay :) perfect location for our trip to the Westfield for shopping! Love the style of the hotel, some front of house staff could do with a lesson in smiling but same could be said for many people we came across on our trip. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others if visiting the area :)

Comfiest bed! 😍

Really pleased with this hotel, great location for Hackney Wick where we were going out, great for tube links if you’re out and about elsewhere. It’s a really nicely designed hotel. The best thing was that the beds are incredibly comfortable, I always find hotel pillows so hard but these were perfect … and the toiletries in the bathroom were soooo nice! It really felt like a lovely boutique hotel in amongst Stratford Westfield chains. I’m not a fan of Westfield but would definitely stay here again when we’re out and about near Hackney Wick. (And would bring a few more tea bags because there were only two but a small niggle in an otherwise very lovely stay).

The Hotel windows don't open and the rooms air conditioning only goes down to 16 degrees so the rooms are hot and stuffy also the Duvets are feather downs and very warm so we did not sleep well.

Overnight stay with family. Easy check in. Room was compact but had everything you would need. Very clean. No guiness in the bar!

Luxury Hotel , close by to Stratford International Station, Westfield Shopping Centre and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The Hotel is lovely , friendly and helpful staff . Super clean rooms and walk-in showers. Nice Breakfast too. Will stay again 😊

Lovely hotel with excellent customer service

Lovely hotel, staff at reception were very friendly, room was excellent, had a few drinks at the bar and again lovely staff. Only moan was breakfast, queued for 25 minutes to be seated and service was painfully slow however the actual breakfast was very good. Overall the breakfast with queuing took over an hour and a half! Wish now I’d found a local cafe!
