Staff was friendly. Spoke to us upon arrival and throughout the stay. Room was on the small size for a family of 5. If you're just wanting a room to rest your head then it's not bad.. Paid £135 for 2 nights and having kids aged 1,5 & 6 and being on the top level didn't help.
The only positive is it was a short walk from the tower ball room sadly enough don’t think we will be booking again here one member of staff was lovely with the kids and chatting to them the other just didn’t care my daughter had accident in the night I rang the following morning to request bedding told there was non I asked for the constant flickering light to be looked at just to be told it’s fine now, toe nails in my daughters and hairs “clean” towel the older gentleman on the desk was lovely to the kids but sadly enough the other member of staff just didn’t care
Cheap cheerful and will stay again
Acceptable for price and location
The property is in an excellent location, the room may need a little TLC, but for the price you pay it’s understandable and acceptable. Located just a few minutes walk from the sea front, in the Golden mile, overlooked by the blackpool tower and minutes from central pier, it’s an ideal location to be. The staff were polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, access to plenty of tea or coffee. The room was clean apart from a few missed bits that are easy to overlook, and very comfortable. Ideal for laying your head in comfort before exploring Blackpool on the doorstep
Salaman the manager was great very helpful.
Was terrible. Wouldn’t stay again. Definitely cheep but not cheerful. Work needed, holes in the wall/ doors, wall paper peeling, DIY touch ups look very unsafe, live cables taped up outside the room. Shower needed a better clean, could feel bumps under the bathroom floor, bed frames ripped, head boards at different levels, new bedding needed. Staff could have been politer, no Wi-Fi password given. People smoking right outside the front door. Loads of stairs and no lift or even an offer to help. Carpets all mismatched, terrible coffee services in the room. Really noisy outside
Had what was needed not clean but owners friendly helpful located great if tidied up will be award winning again not disabled friendly but done the job for the price and what we needed tlc and itll be great
Its a bit outdated but the beds are comfy great for a place to get your head down the man on reception very friendly great service overall good place to stay on a budget no complaints and great location
ANTS!
Upon arrival the staff were hostile and rude following a misunderstanding with check in, they would be dismissive and even make sardonic comments while rolling their eyes. when we managed to get our keys the door was jammed shut, and three staff members had to kick/push the door down to which they then turned to us and said we weren’t pushing hard enough; they then started fixing the door while we unpacked. The shower door was broken, and leaked everywhere onto clothes and towels. The room was not cleaned as when looking for something we had lost we found socks, a plastic sword, a dummy and other items under and at the sides of the bed. there was ants everywhere! in the beds, on the doors, and over the carpets we would find them wandering around everywhere so much we suspected a nest to be somewhere in the hotel. We decided to check out early.
The property was clean and tidy, but with rather dated decor, my room looked like it was mid way through redecorating, the guy on reception was rather doure,
Very good staff and being able to go in and out as you please the walk to the beach is very pleasent
A very decent little place
It was a decent place, good location as pretty central to all amenities. Cheap and cheerful for a night out.
It’s very basic and needs a refurb decor wise but other than that it ok
Very close to Blackpool Tower
Everything was great, the staff were lovely, the hotel was comfy and secure, the only thing that would make this hotel have more appeal would be parking.
Cosy for budget getaway
Very good stay and got it at an amazing price on Bank Holiday weekend 2 nights £80
Friendly staff close to the town only downside was the window wouldn't shut and the radiator doesn't work so it was freezing in the room had to go and buy some water bottles
Horrible would never go back
The bathroom was in a terrible state beds where so uncomfortable we paid £75 for 2 adults and 1 child for that awful room only
Close to Tower & Bars. But not a great stay!
This B&B has recently been taken over and it may just be a short term thing. Beds were VERY squeaky, mattresses very thin, walls even thinner. All night you could hear other couples arguments/phone calls/conversations/bathroom! Breakfast was very minimal continental and unfortunately no English breakfast on offer. Cutlery and crockery looked like it needed a good scrub with bleach. Not great at all. Check out is 10am and check in is 3pm.
Met by a bladdered old guy who said the guy on duty went to art someone out Awoken by arguing glass being broken left early totally ruined our night
