I’ve stayed here 3 times and enjoyed our stay every time. I love the location and the walking distance from the center.

Great location, modern and brilliant

Place is very cool and modern, room was wonderfully spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was fantastic and provisions in the room were great...except no mugs /cups for hot drinks and no milk but i think this is a dutch thing. Service was fabulous. Staff are lovely and the facilities amazing. Great location for town, literally 5min walk. Quiet location too. Only issue i had in room, when you open windows theres no way of securing them so they're a horrible health hazard as they just keep wafting open and closed or stay just jutting out into the room. There's also no walls between the windows so when i coule hear next door like they were literally in the room, i checked to see if they were out on some balcony and they weren't. They too had a window open and i could stick my arm out of my window and through into theirs!! (No way a person could fit so no security issue!)There was no noise barrier at all with both of us having windows open, the gap between room windows and original building windows creates like an echo chamber and funnels noise. Im sure you wouldnt hear quiet guests and in winter no issues but on warm nights with loud guests and heavy snorers this little quirk to the building design could well lead to a sleepless night for some.

Great place with a decent breakfast. Rooftop bar a nice touch with super views. Air con m rooms not great. Spotless bathrooms and good sized rooms. Staff very helpful.

The gym was fantastic and professional. Very high end machinery. The breakfast was outstanding - a large variety, and it ran until 10am unlike at other places. Everyone was very kind and knowledgable.

Young energetic vibe in a good location

Loved our stay in the SocialHub. Very easy to walk to the center of town, parking has hourly and daily rates and is right behind the building. Staff was very helpful and around 24/7 which was handy when we were locked out of our room because the door lock batteries died. It was solved within 5 mins at midnight, very impressed! Would stay here again.

As always the stay was good, but I feel it important to mention, that the breakfast offering is not to the same high standards i have experienced at other TSH, in both variety and quality- the setup this morning as an example was missing serving equipment. after asking once, made do or did not have the item

Room Wasn't Ready, Dusty, and Disappointing!!!

Our recent stay was far from the experience we had anticipated. Our check-in at 5 pm revealed an unprepared room!!! the bed wasn't even made. The room provided was disappointingly tiny, and the lack of cleanliness, with visible dust, was hard to overlook. To make matters worse, despite booking a deluxe room, we were allocated a basic one. What added to our frustration was the near absence of reception assistance. Multiple calls went unanswered, leaving us feeling unheard and unattended. No one really works at the reception anyway! A few students who are everywhere at the property but the reception doing their job. In summary, it was a terrible experience, and I regret the choice. Never again!

Great value for the stay. Conveniently located, parking lot available nearby, and plenty of amenities in the hotel. Very clean and aims to be environmentally friendly.

Not to cheap however great location and great staff.

Free laundry service saved my trip, staff were great and friendly, will come back again for sure.

I got in early before the check-in time, but the guy at the reception was so friendly and helpful. He made every effort to ensure i got a room early. All through my stay, the people at the reception were super supportive

Nice and clean rooms!!!

Very clean and spacious room! Location is also great! The only problem was that at night, no one at reception could speak English! We needed help with the heating system one night and the receptionist could not understand the problem and as a result no one showed up to fix it. Also the type of pillow they had in the room was weirdly uncomfortable to the extent that I had neck cramps for 2 days after our stay.

Large room with spacious en-suite. Very convenient for all sights. Slight drawbacks were the room was quite dark and the car park behind was expensive (though this was not connected with the hotel).

The complete package at a great price

The check-in was as per the scheduled time. The reception was friendly and helped us store our bikes safely. Great rooms, love the simple styling. The shampoo and bodywash smell really nice. Really enjoyed the common area. I spent one evening reading the books there and had a great time. The rooftop bar was exceptional - good vibes.

Property feels like home. Very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is relaxed, you immediately feel a sense of belonging. The staff is friendly, we dealt with Suleyman and he is absolutely amazing!

A very inventive approach to property re-use - a hotel in a former factory! The hotel is very convenient to the Oude Centrum of Maastricht, and fairly easy to drive to. Check in was friendly and quick. Our room was large, comfortable, and VERY CLEAN. We didn't use the common facilities because of Covid-19 but they looked very fun.

Modern and new. Everything was still fresh and working properly. The people at the desk where very friendly and helpful.

Short visit to Maastricht

Thestay was just great, the personnel was super friendly and the breakfast amazing. Super nicely decorated and much fun, ping pong table, pool, piano etc

Non-refundable

Because of hotels policy,on my non-refundable room my fault in part I wanted to change the dates and not cancel as I was going to a concert in Maastricht which had been moved to next year ,just wanted to move to next year ,could not claim on my insurance or my credit card so I lost all my 650 pounds 🌈Lewis

City Centre location, close to parking

This hotel is brand new and is conveniently located right next to the city centre but also next to the Sphinx car park right behind. It is an excellent choice if you come with a car, as parking in Maastricht is difficult and usually located a long distance from hotels. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are friendly.

good but overpriced to be claimed a student hotel.. also no fridge, no microwave in the room.. why charge a regular hotel price if you're not providing the regular services. small TV, has no netflix, cant connect it to your ipad..

Great trendy stay

Great hotel Without the traditional hotel feeling. The central meeting area was filled with students all day, but there was no inconvinuence whatsover.

Edgier than your standard hotel. As it is in an old ceramics factory I do like the design scheme- especially mix of the bare brick walls with painted walls. The bed was a bit too firm for my liking but I had no trouble sleeping anyway :)

Student Hotel Maasatricht - Well worth a visit

An amazing and quirky hotel. We will definitely be back and will visit some of their branches in other cities. The design is industrial but there are great facilities and the staff are really helpful.

Service was slow in the restaurant but food is very good.

Nice large airy rooms but had cooking facilites with no utensils a bit of wasted space.

A hotel with great vibe

The location of the hotel is very good. Only 5 to 10 minutes walk to the centre square and 20 minutes to the train station. The hotel is clean and has a great energy to it. Calm and peaceful even though there are quite a lot of young residents. As I had to work on this trip, there are loads of charging points and work space on the ground floor.

A fun place to stay

Maastricht is a great city to vist and the Andre Rieu concert in the big square an amazing experience. Can highly recommend the Student Hotel and will be looking out for their others across Europe.

Quirky Hotel. Very near to centre.

All the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if in Maastricht again.

Close to het Vrijthof

We chose this hotel due to the location being close to het Vrijthof where we were attending The Andre Rieu Concert and good parking close by. On arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and given complimentary ice lollys, which were greatly appriciated. Lovely breakfast from the adjoining restaurant/bar.

Unique, fun atmosphere in a good location and filled with friendly, happy people!

Close to city center.

Nice old world charm combined with easy access to the Maastricht city center. Bikes available for rent. Hotel staff seemed unsure about basic questions regarding how to pay bus fare, if international cards are accepted, etc. That was surprising, but otherwise, the staff was more than helpful and friendly.

Wonderful place

I like the theme of the hotel. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. Good location. Parking outside the hotel is a bit more expensive and if you want to save a few euros you can park at the other open car park across the road about 200m away.

Creative conversion of industrial ceramics factory into a hotel/ student accommodation. Rooms are bright, modern and comfortable. The vibe is young and friendly and the staff are delightful. There is much on offer at the Hotel from bikes, gym, bar , restaurant, pool table, ping pong .. and a very good study space ( if you have time!) Location is excellent.A stroll or bike ride into the old town area and two great cinemas next door. Great value and fun!

Eurostar had horrible delays (I would use profanity here but it's prohibited) and we were stuck in Brussels for the night. However i'm sure if we'd made it to this hotel it would have been great

Perfect for us

Perfect for us as our son is a student there for the academic year but age was not a concern and the treatment we received could not have been better.

Hotel with a spirit

I had a very positive experience staying in this hotel. The hotel has been opened only for a couple of months. It does not just aim for students, although you see lots of young people around. It has modern and youth feel. Very clean. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The location is very close to city centre. I would stay there again next time in Maastricht.

Stylish new hotel, not just for students!

Stylish new hotel close to the city centre, with very spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The building is both a hotel and a student residence. You don't have to be a student to stay here. The hotel has only just opened and this shows in that it still has building work going on around the outside and access is a bit difficult. Once the building work is complete and the few teething troubles sorted out this will be a really good hotel.

A great fun hotel! Very unusual industrial decor.

We enjoyed our stay in this unique hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly, bed was great, with an excellent mattress. The location was 10 out of 10! We would definitely go back. The decor is industrial chic, really well done, and honours the site of the original factory. It was fun to share a space with students. The only suggestion we have is to put some crockery and cutlery in the room, for fruit, coffee, etc. drinking coffee out of a glass is not good. And maybe a microwave oven? Overall, 98/100 Thank you for a great stay! And hopefully we'll be back!

Personal sehr Freundlich.Zimmer sehr gemütlich. Frühstück war sehr gut. Super Lage man ist in 10 min in der Stadt.Der Parkplatz ist direkt neben dem Hotel.

Das Social Hub in Maastricht ist eine wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft und Perfekt auch zum Arbeiten. Die Zimmer haben sehr hohe decken und alles ist toll eingerichtet.

Die Lage ist perfekt: kurze Wege in die Stadt und öffentlicher Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Allerdings ist der Parkplatz gegen Mittag schon voll. Die Ablageflächen im Zimmer waren sehr staubig. Das Bad war sauber.

It’s a nice hotel with a good and friendly service

Ligging van het hotel is top. Vlakbij het centrum. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en enthousiast. Ontbijt was ook goed. Toch was de prijs kwaliteit onder de maat. Op de kamer was het erg warm en daarom moesten de ramen open. We zijn 2 nachten in het hotel geweest en hebben, omdat de ramen open moesten, slecht geslapen. Tot 5 uur ‘s nachts werd er op straat alleen maar geschreeuwd waardoor slapen moeilijk was.

Goede ligging niet zo heel ver van de binnenstad. De muren waren echter wat dunnetjes zodat wede buren ook konden horen. De service van het personeel was uitstekend en vriendelijk, het ontbijt eerder sober.

Social Hub Hotel Maastricht: ik zeg doen!

De ontvangst is zeer vriendelijk, de locatie en ligging is perfect! En het gebouw is uniek, de oude sphynx fabriek! Ontbijt is goed en de kamers zijn degelijk ingericht en van alle gemakken en benodigdheden voorzien. Je loopt het gebouw uit en zo het centrum in! De rooftop bar van bold op de 8ste etage is een aanrader en ook een trekpleister voor velen! Het grote parkeerterrein achter het gebouw is een pré! Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is uitstekend!

Wat een mooie, fijne en aparte omgeving voor een overnachting in Maastricht! Geweldig mooi industrieel voorbeeld van hoe een oud gebouw gebruikt kan worden. Warme en persoonlijke ontvangst en bediening tijdens ontbijt. Zeker een aanrader, wij komen graag nog een keer terug!

Mooi concept en de kamer was erg ruim. Vanaf het moment van binnenkomst tot aan het vertrek was het personeel erg vriendelijk/behulpzaam, complimenten! Goede ligging en lopend zo het centrum in. Kom zeker nog eennkeer terug!

Check in was wat rommelig en er waren bij binnenkomst geen grote handdoeken aanwezig in de badkamer. Dat laatste is heel snel opgelost. Vragen aan het personeel werden wisselend heel vriendelijk of wat nonchalant ontvangen. Maar dat mag de pret niet drukken. Erg fijn hotel om te verblijven!
