Perfect stay and accross road from beach
Close to beach plus fantastic pool and amentities loved the breakfast
Serene surroundings
I love this property and have stayed there at least 5 times. Waking up to the kangaroos lying metres away on the golf course is truly wonderful. So many joeys in pouches. Abundance of wildlife is a real treat when you consider you are only 30 minutes away from Perth City. The apartments are well appointed.
Great spacious rooms and love it
We had a wonderful stay. the place was very clean and spacious. It was confusing trying to drive to the front reception. Should consider a road to the units out the back to get to the front reception.
We enjoyed the stay
Next to the golf course, enjoyed the game plus the wild life
Great space and location but local food/ wine
Beautiful large apartment next to golf courses surrounded by winery’s. The staff are lovely however the cafe could provide higher quality food and they’ve missed a trick not serving local wines. The kangaroos all over the place made it a special place for us to stay.
Great location - service needs work
Location was great - lovely place for families Sadly the service was substandard- slow - understaffed and low motivated staff. We had one hour wait of food from cafe / half an hour wait for some eggs at bfast / an incorrectly working app for room service When addressed it seems everything pointed to poor staffing .. loved the sunsets and kangaroos on the golf course
The size & location was excellent, the amenities excellent. Unfortunately our sliding door was broken & unable to close it rang Reception gentleman came over to look at it & said it couldn’t be fixed until the next day but they have cameras so all good!! Not good for 2 women & 2 young children to sleep all night with an open door.
We have stayed at The Sebel twice now and find it very relaxing (other than, this time, the children in the adjoining room were crazy noisy! Thankfully not constantly) Beautiful surroundings and great facilities.
As usual was very nice but unfortunately this time there were some families next door with very young children and there was a lot of noise coming through the adjoining door
Modern, clean & new
I’m not a grumpy old man
Whilst the room was ok , I didn’t mind leaves on the balcony or the toilet being small (how big do you need), as others have complained. What I did mind was the noise that families with smallish children were creating, we were there 4 nights and every morning(6.30am) children were running around screaming and yelling. We will not be back, and those parents with the kids need to get better or find a caravan park, more suited to your poor parenting.
Very Good at The Vines
This block of apartments is situated quite a distance from the Novotel, on the far side of the golf course, where we had to check-in and out. We did use the resort hotel restaurant and bar for a couple of meals and drinks. We stayed 4 nights in an upstairs apartment style room, which was clean and comfortable. The downside, there are no lifts in building, so had to carry bags up the stairs. Nice sized pool. Not staffed and we did not book housekeeping being over the Xmas holiday break.
Overall a good stay
Checking in was a headache, google maps took us to the rear carpark. It was raining, we got out and tried to follow the one sign that pointed towards reception but couldn't find it. Got back in the car, tried phoning Sebel but were advised their office was closed (despite 24 hour reception. Couldn’t find a direct number for the hotel). Checked our email again and noticed it said to check in at Novotel (it was about 7pm, dark and raining.) Drove over to the other hotel, checked in, the young, male staff member kindly provided a map and circled our building, but we still ended up back in the customer rear carpark, not realising we were meant to be in the Apartment building. So walked around for a good 10 minutes or so with our luggage in the rain and the dark before working out where we were meant to go. I slept well the first night, but there was a strange, loud noise the second night (reported when we checked out). It sounded like the aircon or fridge was working too hard, or a neighbour was running a spa intermittently, but I don't know what it was. Overall it was an okay stay, but I'll probably pick somewhere else next time.
Good golf course with extra kangaroos on site
A very pleasant stay, staff were friendly and helpful, Very relaxing.
Pool area was nice, apartment was nice. Buffet at restaurant was empty and not a great selection for the price. We didn't dine in there after booking.
I had no questions about my stay as everything was answered. I was e-mailed a description of how to get to the Novotel Reception for check-in and check-out and then how to get to my hotel. I didn’t need to call up to confirm as I got an e-mail. Parking was easy. My room was perfect. Would definitely recommend it.
Lots of spider webs and spiders and bugs inside out out
Perfect Anniversary ❤️
We had an incredible stay at The Sebel. The facilities are shared with the Novotel so it was nice to be able to walk around the property. The food was amazing at both restaurants. Service was great and our room was so clean and beautiful overlooking the golf course. We had an amazing three night stay for our Anniversary. We will definitely be back again. Loved everything about it.
The balcony was disgusting very dirty and we requested a ground floor because we have two small children and we got a balcony
This was self contained apartment which was clean, comfortable, spacious (for 2 people) in a quiet location overlooking the golf course and the kangaroos. The facilities at the resort include mini golf, pool, and tennis courts. It is just over a 5 minute drive from Ellenbrook and a supermarket. The wineries and other Swan valley attractions were all within a short drive. However we were disappointed to find out that the WiFI surcharge was $10 per day
peaceful and relaxing
Absolutely delighted with our stay. Apartment was beautiful and clean. The grounds were stunning . Highly recommended
Great relaxing time kangaroo, birds, kookaburras nice green lawns trees quite
Not comfortable to stay
Beautiful place, location, unfortunately the bed is not comfortable at all and the air conditioner vent right facing the bed. Unfortunately we stayed in summer time so when the aircon is on, it's blowing on your heads when you sleep.
The location is beautiful, parrots and wildlife in the evenings right outside the balcony makes it a pleasure to just sit and watch. Great facilities and rooms are perfect.
Great views
Really loved the views and the set up of the appartment. Beautiful place overall.
Beautiful views and so peaceful. Staff were all extremely friendly and polite.
Enjoy the stay
Lovely room with stunning views. Friendly staff, very helpful.
Amazing nature and surroundings
We enjoyed a great room overlooking the golf course and everything worked and was very clean, we would stay there again.
Like - pool & breakfast buffet. Dislike - view from room was large container & car park. Not enough options for dinner.
Nice location
Nice new room and new facilities. Noise between rooms was an issue, could hear the baby next door and the main door being opened all night. Some power points didn’t work.
Liked the view of the golf course and the kangaroo s
Awesome and had the experience of wild kangaroos coming to the patio.
Nice golf resort.
Comfortable place with all the necessary facitilities needed for family with small kids. Just ask for ground floor if you don't want to lug all the heavy luggages up the stairs. Kangeroos aplenty. U can see them from the balconies.
Great location, easy parking, had everything we needed for our weekend away.
Very spacious apartment with picturesque view of golf course
Lovely, relaxing stay in wine country
Luxury, self-contained-style stay close to the vineyards, slightly separated from the main complex. Modern yet homely feel. Beautiful views of the golf-course & grazing roos. Very comfortable bed & quiet top-floor apartment. Short walk to all amenities available at the Novotel. Food & service for dinner in the restaurant were excellent. A bathtub would have topped the room off.
Our car was stolen from the car park on the night of our daughters wedding - so no not happy about that.
The whole property was in a quiet location and the two bedroom apartment we had was excellent with plenty of room. Close to the Swan Valley, which has numerous places to see, or you can rest and relax and do your own thing, or just as easily take advantage of the facilities at the Sebel/Vines itself like golf, mini golf, pool, restaurants, café, tennis etc. I would definitely go back there again with friends, kids or just ourselves
Great
Everything is good. But have to pay for Wi-Fi.
Looking forward to returning
Will be back. It was just the place we needed to use as our base to explore the Swan Valley.
Modern and spacious accommodation with a view
Sebel The Vines was a perfect getaway for my family. Kids saw wild roaming kangaroos right in front of our studio. We were happy with our choice of accommodation. It's ideal if you wish to stay and visit places around Swan River. Only down side is sofa bed needs changing. It's not recommended for people with back problem.
Swan Valley
We booked from Sunday night to Monday night. We were planning on doing tours on the Monday to breweries in the swan valley as we are not wine drinkers. On our arrival, we were told that the restaurant in the main complex of the hotel was only open from Thursdays until Saturdays. What a disappointment as we were planning on a decent dinner on our first night. The following day, we went for breakfast and paid a fortune for it, before we were out for the day and returned late afternoon. We thought that we would order a meal from the restaurant and again discovered that the phones did not work to place an order. We went to bed early without eating and the following morning left early. The rooms are not to bad, but to overpriced. It caters for the rich and wealthy and not for the average person. If you are a smoker, as usual, you have to sit in the open, without any cover from rain and be treated like an outcast. Beautiful place but overpriced. There is not much to do if you are not a golfer. Would rather stay in a bed and breakfast next time.
Very nice easy shower heads need cleaning for calcium build up
Not for couples
On arrival we had a lot of trouble finding reception. Apparently this is a common problem and at check in the staff seemed amused that we were wandering the property trying to find them. Room was very comfortable, spacious and well furnished, however the apartments are very noisy and we could hear all of the families that surrounded us as they began their day at 5am.
Lumpy pillows, noisy room, terrible and expensive breakfast.
Comfortable accommodation in great location
The accommodation at the Sebel Apartments was clean, spacious and well presented. The location overlooking the golf course and grazing kangaroos was special. We found that overall our stay was relaxing and also a great location to explore the Swan Valley
Relaxing stay
The location is good for visiting the Swan valley area, a couple of roads are getting busier and harder to turn on during peak times but nothing drastic. The ac/heater worked well and was quite. The studio room we had does not have a washing machine in the room as per the booking advice which is one of the reasons we booked the sebel over the novotell vines hotel room. There was a shared machine and dryer in another building available to used. Not as convenient but after a week of traveling and a second week to go washing was required. The room had a lovely view of the golf course.
Felt like a burden
Great location and facilities but marred with a feeling of putting staff out. On arrival our booking had been cancelled from the system and rather than staff looking into it, the immediate response was 'are you sure you made the booking for today' quite tersely. Lucky our name was on the welcome board! Enquiring about wifi access was a hassle.. I left my Accor membership card at home so it was going to be on a paid basis (even though the lady at check in said she would look it up) and requesting a later than 10am checkout seemed like I was asking for the world. When you pay good money to stay at a resort the notion of feeling welcome is pretty central to the experience. Unfortunately we felt more like a burden.
Beautiful apartment, has everything!
Had a great relaxing time, wished we could have stayed longer:(
Excellent resort feel
Great apartment which is clean, modern and spacious. Our balcony faces the Golf course and we can see the Kangaroos around the area. Only downside is that there is no lift to the second level of the apartment unit.
Comfy clean hotel with great wildlife
Arrived late and it was dark so opened the patio doors the next morning only for a herd of ducks to run into our room Great fun ushering all of them out The view was of the golf course but it was obscured by a rising bunker but as I walked the 20 seconds from our room to the top of the bunker I was greeted by the course and kangaroos bounding over First time I'd ever seen Roos in real life -fantastic
poor customer service and food presentation
Whilst rooms and location are awesome the Novotel food and beverage staff service is woefully bad. Not much has changed there in 5 years
Check in
They let me check in early. Very good very clean and very quiet
Beautiful accomodation in the Swan Valley
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment in the Sebel at the Vines. We were visiting the area to experience the wineries in the area and the Sebel (Novotel) provided a convenient base. The room was tastefully decorated and had a great kitchen with full size fridge, separate sitting area and balcony overlooking the golf course. We had dinner on site at the only open restaurant which although lacking atmosphere served up a surprisingly decent feed. Finding the reception area was a little tricky as we had put the Sebel at the Vines into the GPS, however we needed to check in at the Novotel section of the resort- would suggest entering this into the GPS.
Disappointing that there was no bath a listed and not being able to contact the hotel management to swap rooms
Nice hotel. Quiet ... out of town but well set up
Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Room well equipped for a family holiday. Great for a couple of days of 'quiet'!
When asked where a good place to eat was the staff, multiple, said they wouldn't know as they wouldn't eat in any of the wineries as they were too expensive.
Rural setting. Quiet.
Stayed only one night, and that was pleasant. Bed comfortable. Great T.V.
Facilities: Outstanding; Value: Fantastic; Cleanliness: Immaculate;
Cleanliness: Pristine; You may want to consider "room service" availability to the apartments. Collecting the food yourself defeats the purpose.

Beautiful room, but currently a building site
I would not knowingly pay $200 a night to stay somewhere that is under construction. Not very happy this information was not shared at time of booking, as I would never stay somewhere whilst it is a construction site. Also, no room service and check in and check out not on same site as accommodation. Having said that, the room itself was fantastic, quality fittings and finish, and the receptionist was lovely.

We loved the size of the apartment for our young family and it was beautiful and clean, unfortunately we got off to a bad start not being able to find reception for a good 30 mins and also no car parks available as they were all full. We didn’t want to park at the vines resort ( once we found out that was where check in was ) and walk with our luggage to the apartments with the kids. The grounds are beautiful and the kids loved waking up to seeing kangaroos hopping around outside their windows.
