In that area, a hotel with full facilities (onsite restaurant, laundry facility, 24hour Front Desk, etc.) is quite rare. Also, the staff were friendly and helpful. I like their smiling faces !!

Our suite was very nice and clean and spacious. Only downfall, no other restaurant options but in hotel but it was very good.

I reached out three times to find out if there was an airport shuttle. I had no response except an automated one and had to call them and ask. Got an early check in though which was nice. Front desk staff were very helpful.

Served our purpose. Breakfast was good, room was clean, staff was friendly.

Overall was pretty good. My only issue was, that my room was suppose to sleep 3. There was only one bed and a small couch. Couch didn’t fold out to a bed. Just a coach. So one of us did not enjoy their stay at all.

The advert advised that the rooms were sound proof and they weren't. Lighting in the shower was flickering on and off. It needs kitchen facilities instead of using the bathroom sink to fill kettle or clean dishes.

Contact lenses, and coffe stained coaster is not my thing. Overcharged for a carpark I thought was free. Was accused of not telling staff on arrival, that car would be in their park. I felt I had to press my word, before he checked the signed paper work and found it was registered. I didnt appreciate his manner over the dif of opinion. On checkin we were welcomed and registered in with respect. We ordered dishes and cutlery and had to remind them at least a half hour later. Come back ??? 🤔

Reception and Room Service excellent. Shower exceptionally great. Denny's restaurant around the corner, was great for food that we enjoyed. Will update to Deluxe suite next time for kitchen and dining area.

Wow, that was my initial reaction seeing my room for the first time. This was my first time experiencing an eco-friendly room, it was different but cuts down on energy waste. The room is spacious and had all my needs. Parking can fill up quickly, but I always had a parking space. The restaurant downstairs Ora Bistro did not disappoint. I was impressed with the menu and the food was great! I would definitely stay here again if I go back to New Zealand.

Overall experience was great however, the furniture was a little stained. Had to ask for extra linens to cover the couch etc etc. Bed was comfortable and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms were great. Not enough parking.

Booking the reservation was easy online. Check in undercharged us and so had to charge us twice. The room was clean but there were ants everywhere. Even in the fridge. Cleaning left the room service leftovers and dirty dishes in the room for our 2 nights stay. When we got back to the motel after a day out our door had been left open by cleaners. This was raised with front desk and they didn’t let us know what had happened or follow up with an explanation. After we checked out we did have a phone call the next day about a lost charger. The restaurant in the motel was very convenient and the food was good. Overall service was pleasant. And the hotel was very close to ammenities. The air conditioning could be better, it seemed to cut out and wasn’t a continuous flow. Not sure if I’ll stay again.

I have stayed in many hotels throughout the country for work, this hotel for the price range is extremely well appointed with fantastic Staff who went out of their way to assist us with everything we needed. We were traveling at the last minute for a funeral of a very dear friend and the hotel staff were so accommodating, they made everything easy and comfortable. Even providing my husband with a raiser as he had left his at home. We will defiantly be booking here again. Thank You Sebel staff and especially Melissa!!

Had a wonderful time

The Sebel was very clean and nice, both rooms and lobby. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Since we came from a very rainy 3 mile hike, the availability of the laundry was great! My only wish was for a gym, but otherwise it was a great place to stay our last night on the north island.

This is a great option and one of the better hotels on the south side of Auckland. Ideally, located near rainbows end and Westfield Manukau and the Manukau transport centre and only about 10 minutes from the airport. Some of our group with Vision appeared and had no problem navigating around the venue as signage was very very good. High contrast, room, numbers, and signs. I would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend it to others.

Excellent hotel with attention to very small details and a great emphasis on personalizing guest satisfaction. I loved staring here.

We arrive at 2am very tired after a long flight. Around 9km from airport which cost $55 for a Iber at this early hour. The booking on service was quick and efficient. The room was excellent- comfortable bed, clean, powerful hot shower. We slept well. Normal checkout is 1100am.

Great location

Very comfortable stay, super happy with the staff and service the only thing worth mentioning in terms of annoying, was the car parking, despite paying for parking with the hotel it’s still a first in first serve policy. May have to park down the road a bit if you’re not in fast enough.

Excellent standard

Large well appointed room with comfortable queen sized bed. Friendly staff and nice room service meals. Good quality toiletteries and robes provided. Excellent standard of cleanliness throughout the facility. Rooms are soundproof with good aircon.

Great room, huge bed but unfortunately only very limited parking spaces and no where to park on the road either. This meant I had to park the car quite far away in a restaurant car park and hope not to get towed, and then walk through a not so safe area back to the hotel. This would be a good place to stay if you don’t have a car. Check-in and out was also a bit chaotic and I’m still chasing receipts.

Haven't been here since before Covid, but easily the best Hotel I've been too in NZ for years. Amazing staff which is a little unusual in NZ - very impressive.

This is located at a very high risk area and there was no parking provided and they asked to do street parking . NO STREET PARKING WAS AVAILABLE. I never checked in and lost $320. I was my hard earn earnings. Stay out. This place is no good as no parking provided

From check in to check out, the front desk receptionists were warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and modern with comfortable beds. I only want to stay here whenever I’m in Auckland.

Better communication needed

Overall a good stay with plenty of parking and very clean and spacious rooms. One thing of concern was a mix up in our room which meant someone entering our room late at night and later being told we would need to shift rooms in the morning. To their credit the hotel did sort it and we didn’t need to shift, however not until we had already packed up. The restaurant was very nice.

The staff was beyond helpful and lovely. But the property is located in a seedy area with limited transportation options with a HUGE cell tower right in front of the building. Nothing wrong with the management really, food was delicious. But the location was terrible.

The room was awesome although it would’ve been better with either a coffee table or side tables around the couch. Room service dinner was incredible and well worth the order. Breakfast was good but a long wait while thry cooked more bacon especially and really need to allow for those eating later. Overall a lovely stay

Had a wonderful stay with my sister visiting my niece. The staff were extremely friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The restaurant served excellent food and the hotel was located in a great area and we had a amazing stay for 14 nights.

The neighborhood is noisy and a bit run down, although a convenient location overall. Lots of sirens and noise from nearby amusement park. Hotel itself is clean and modern. Comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed rooms. Staff cheerful and friendly. Onsite restaurant was hit or miss.

A nice room, very clean. Parking looks a bit iffy and costs $10 to park in the lot. There’s a big mall close by and the hotel is only 15-20 minutes from the airport. We didn’t eat in the dining room as it’s pretty pricey.

Staff very friendly and super helpful. Food at the restaurant is Amazing! The lack of amenities though, no onsite fitness center and no pool, no sauna or business center. Otherwise it is a great place above 20 min from the airport

All staff are helpful, courteous and polite. Appreciated staff making the bed that is a god send when you leave early and return late. Servicing rooms - day 2 noticed towels etc were left on the bed, which differed from day 3 where these were placed in the bathroom, coffee was replaced day 3 rather than daily.

Room service for food was lacking - waited 1.5hrs on 1st night & was told that our order hadn’t been received by the kitchen hence the delay. However they did give us our meal for free. Otherwise good location for dining options.

Surprisingly nice, spacious, lovely room. Helpful front desk people. There is a washer and dryer for use for guests which is convenient. They did not have a business center, but they are close to a public library, which was suitable for what I needed. Overall it was a terrific stay and sufficiently close to the airport to take Uber there at a reasonable cost.
