This property did not match the description or pictures. I was one of only two guests in the whole hotel. Everything was old and outdated. Not well maintained. The staff weren’t very friendly either. Leaking faucet. Cracked window. Rusted balcony rails. No operational pool bar.

Nice place, great location and friendly staff

- inaccurate dated pictures. Hotel has been let go, let down. - no access to ice - having set room at do not disturb, didn’t have room cleaned. When requested our water bottles, was firstly asked to pay. - limited buffet breakfast not warmed by food warmers (only one) - no hot water which they “flipped the breaker” after me inquiring on and on .. 8 hours after my first inquiry and continued insistance. Asked other guests which the confirmed not having hot water. They offered beer as compensation for the lost of booking extra for a room with a bath the we could not use. We spent like 150$ CAD more over 2 nights for the room with that unusable bath.

There was no hot water for showers and the room wasn’t clean upon arrival, would not recommend this hotel.

We were shock !!!! Ghost hotel !! Only us !!! So unpleasant !! Pay attention that all the reviews are from 2018 ,before covid, the hotel did not recovered. It's nice facility, but only 4 rooms with guests. And more expensive then a hotel in the main area,with open restaurant and activities. Staff ? No one were there to check us out !! Scary experience.

Nice hotel nice rooms. The staff were beautiful and helpful. No request was too much. Lovely pool overlooking the beach. Bar and restaurant lacked a bit of atmosphere.

loved it!

Clean, comfortable, friendly and quiet. It's on the south side of Chaweng beach, which is quieter and less busy. Pillows were too large, as they normally are at hotels, that's why I bring my own. I would definitely stay there again

Need big improvements on breakfast, hotel only offer 2 very basic breakfast choices everyday

The property is run down and needs refurbishing They need larger beach towels and new linen towels But I do have to say ... it’s in a great location on the beach great pool with awesome bar staff 😃 chow who makes all the cocktails n who also works in the kitchen is amazing who is always Smiling n very helpful And friendly !! The reception staff are very friendly and helpful... over all it’s a great hotel and I would definitely stay there again !

Would never stay here again.

Surprised at first impression as hotel has no frontage on the road. Room location wes excellent with a great view of the sea. Bed rock hard and pillows the same but changed when asked. Bedding not changed just bottom sheet rotated.Area disappointing as far from main area and a lot of roadworks out front of the hotel for over 100 meters in either direction. Staff okay but have little knowledge of what tourists ask. Only 4 or 5 rooms in use so this shows how popular the hotel is as hotel next door is busy. Pool lounges only around pool for guests with a pool access room. Pool lounges have cushions that are falling apart and even on the beach cushions soaking wet from the rain. People we met walked past thinking the place was being renovated and closed.

Staff were wonderful, pool and beach location was great. Ocean facing room was amazing. Could use more pool and beach chairs and the ones there needed replacement. Breakfast was sufficient.

pool access is great. breakfast has little choices. bathroom amenity is not full set.

I am totally in love with the balcony from my room and the ocean view is very good for see the sunrise. The pool is very big and clean , the staff was very helpful and nice, because my flight schedule was kind of mess, and they let me checked in much earlier to let me rest , of course thats base on they have available room at that that . The first day i checked in was after rains, and my room has some small ants, which is a bit bothering me , but I definitely don't have other complain and recommend to people to stay here if you don't want to spend a lot of money on accommodation. Outside the hotel is easy to find restaurant, 7-11, massage, or renting the motorcycle.

One of my favorite stays ever

A roommate afternoon when the breeze was blowing in the ocean waves were going was absolutely peaceful and stunning all at the same time. I would highly highly recommend this hotel for the location, service, views,, pool. Truly loved our stay here.

Sooo loved this stay!!

Truly amazing stay. The room and ocean view was stunning. The service was top notch the don’t desk manager (Pi?). So warm and accommodating your every need. It was our honeymoon and there was a beautiful flowers in the room for us. The breakfast was good. You can ask them to make you eggs how you like. Pool was fabulous! A+!

Chilling out

We booked here due to holiday time and everywhere else was full. It is a great location at the end of Cheweng Beach you get to see everything as you walk toward the center. There are good shops and food nearby. The pool was used by everyone even though it is only 0.9M deep until you get to the end by the seating. The beach outside is good for competent swimmers or you can go a little further up to find calm water. Excellent for families and just chilling out

great pool,really close to the beach,staff great.rooms big, and clean.it was alittle far from all the night life. taxis cost 200 batt($6) there and $6 back. to walk is a long way. only negative

Great resort and staff

The resort was great , location excellent the beach out front was lovely . Massage out front on beach and all the water sports was great too. The staff were exceptional , nothing was a problem . The only downside which wasn’t really a problem was that the resort was empty ! A few days we were the only ones there, so we had the pool all to ourselves , but no fellow travellers to interact with.

Have great potential because of the location and the private beach zone, but from.my point of view the hotel looks old

This was the fourth hotel we stayed in Thailand on our current holiday and it exceeded our expectations in every way. -firstly we paid a bit more for a nice room and they satisfied all our requests we mentioned on our Wotif booking -the room was AMAZING, comfort, view, cleanliness, beautiful decorations on the bed, quiet. I could’ve sat on the balcony all day looking at the sea -the staff were super friendly, super helpful for all the questions we had about the island, the pool bartender even went to the main st to buy us ciggies when we had run out drinking at the pool bar. -the location was perfect, right on the beach but a 10 min walk away from the louder club area which suited us -the pool was a highlight, so big and beautiful -the breakfast was simple with limited selection but was always nice -probably only gripe was poor wifi connection and tv reception We travel to Thailand every year and stay at many hotels all over the country. Both my partner and I can honestly say this one is a stand out and I could not recommend more highly!

The staff were truly great to us, helping us from the minute we arrived until the second we departed. Not only with prepping our rooms, but with handling our baggage and ensuring our strict dietary requirements were met with a friendly smile. I can honestly say that we fully enjoyed our stay as a family of 6 at this hotel-resort, it was very relaxing and the location is pristine, excellent pool, excellent beach... very nice indeed.

All the most important things are exccellent!

Great hotel, a little bit away from the main part of chawang (15 minute walk). Great hotel, great shower, good internet, excellent pool, cool fishes! Like a lot of hotels in Thailand, the breakfast could have a little bit more variety. But you can find plenty of food around, if you get bored with whats on offer. Very nice staff, looked after us well (nice staff make hotel stays, so much better). The beach out the front has a bit of a steep incline, which my folks didn't like heaps! Plus I couldn't watch the Australian Rules Football as they didn't have the Australia channel, but I don't think I have ever had that in Samui. But what can you do ahhh! We would definitely go back!

Nice and quiet hotel

Easy accessible to Chaweng Beach... breakfast served is alright. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Great hotel right on the beach.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We chose a room with a view over the pool and sea and enjoyed sitting out on our balcony with this great view. Buffet breakfast was by the pool and overlooked the beach, very relaxing atmosphere.

Nice beach

A basic 3 star hotel with a nice pool, sea view and lovely beach. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work! Service equivalent to a 4star experience. Breakfast needs improvement as highlighted by other guests. Room needs luggage rack and toilet needs towel rails. Bath towels look tired for a new hotel. The great beach, location and service saved the day. Overall, an enjoyable holiday.

The location and service was great! The only reason why I didn’t give it 5/5 was the Twin room beds were extremely firm and uncomfortable. As well as the breakfast was subpar. The pool, beach and great service did make up for the bed and breakfast issues. So overall I would recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Great location, small and friendly

right on the beach with loungers in the property gives privacy and great views of the open sea. good breakfast and nice spot by pool for dining. bar drinks very expensive so didn't drink there. same goes for dinner but probably because so many choices along main road for meals. very helpful with car rental.

Nice staff but terrible breakfast.

The hotel is situated close to the beach and shops. The staff are friendly, and I have to pay credit to the female front desk manager-she was so helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast. The eggs were precooked and left to congeal on a plate, the food was cold and not enough of it. If I went again, I would book a room without breakfast and eat in the street restaurants. The beach is nice and clean and the water lovely to swim in, but beware the jet ski operators who operated on the beach, right next to the hotel! We observed a horrible scene on the beach, where representatives of a jet ski company beat up some young British tourists, threatened them with a knife and demanded 50 000 baht for some supposed damage to a jet ski. One of the thugs threatened " You run, you die". It was so obvious they were scamming these poor boys, who left the hotel after spending only 2/4 days there, because they were so scared. Apart from this upsetting event, we enjoyed our time in Kho Samui and, apart from breakfast, liked staying at the Samui Beach Resort.

Ok stay

I had an ok stay at this hotel. Staff is nice and very helpful and the room was kept clean. What made it unpleasent for me was that someone (probably a drunk hotel guest) tried multiple times to get in to my room in the middle of the night. Hotel area is quite calm otherwise. Feels little overpriced.

The bed was unconvinient. The breakfest really poor! The pool is nice and the hotel is on the beach. Nice restaurants around.

Resort with plenty of potential

Such a shame the staff show no interest in their guests as this resort has so much potential. The Manager was even there several days and walked straight past us and didn't speak. The only place we have ever been to that have no welcome drink, no cold towel on arrival, no information folders in the rooms....it's the little things that mean a lot. We would come in at night and the receptionists would be behind the desk playing on their phones.......didn't look up once in 8 days. We travel to Asia a lot and prefer a good hard bed but OMG the beds were like concrete - the sun loungers were far, far better. Such a shame as this place could be so fabulous ☹️

We will stay again

I can't rave about this place enough. Our room was lovely and clean, the shower and bath tub were very clean and luxurious. The king size bed was very comfortable, just watch out for your shins on the wooden frame, ouch! Staff were more than helpful, they were accommodating to all of our requests, made phone calls on our behalf to book tours, arranged a scooter for us to rent and were all round friendly and helpful. The pool and swim up bar were great for relaxing and having a drink, not overly deep so great for kids too and plenty of room for many, many guests to swim comfortably. Great location on the main road running parallel to Chaweng Beach, close to all shops and food vendors. We would stay again and highly recommend to others.

Great complex, perfect for what we wanted

Beautiful pool and postcard perfect beach. The staff were really great especially the guy that runs the bar he is hardworking and one step ahead all the time. Rooms was nice just pillows really hard, but they changed them for us. Cable tv average not great selection of channels but we didn't care, hardly watched tv. Breakfast was great. Overall we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay in Koh Samui

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Samui Beach resort. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The pool is magnificent - just note there are no chairs directly on the pool deck unless you are renting a room off the pool- the chairs are at the end of the pool or on the beach for the other hotel guests. If there are vacant pool rooms they allow you to sit on the lounge chairs off the vacant rooms or villas. There's a great Thai massage tent right at the foot of the hotels beach and all the water sports you can imagine on the resort beach as well. We had a lovely stay and definitely recommend this resort.

Nice hotel right on the beach

Excellent location right on the beach and awesome swimming pool. Photos we looked at on Wotif were exactly as we found the hotel which was excellent. The staff very extremely friendly and helpful. Location was great for us as it was far enough away from the noisy bars at night time but close enough to walk into the main Centre. Beach was lovely. A great place to relax. Buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of variety to suit everyone. Would totally recommend this hotel for couples or families.

Great hotel by the beach

We booked 4 nights in advance but added 2 more :) lovely staff and the biggest pool ever!!! Recommended!

Modern hotel allowing the Samui village feel.

Nice hotel right on the beach, has an excellent pool that is extremely large so you can rotate between the beach and the pool as the day warms up and you need to get out of the sun. Very competent and helpful bar/kitchen staff who are happy to please. The food cooked on site is also quite tasty. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the night life but there are plenty of shops and restaurants along the way. I personally have a young family so didn't want to hear the loud music and drunken revellers so was perfect for me, the pool is definitely a winner along with the beach and massage availability on the beach.

Good Location!

Good for the price. Only issue is that the beds are really, really hard. The standard sea view rooms are quite small so we were lucky to receive a free upgrade to a bigger room. Right on the beach which is a massive plus, the pool is huge but with the ocean right there we only used it once!

Staff have minimal English and wifi is a little slow other than that it's the best place I've stayed in Samui everthing else was spot on
