Great stay
Compared to other hotels I stayed at in Tokyo, the Royal Park Canvas - Ginza 8 felt clean and modern! I loved it
All of the staffs are very helpful. The location is great, very close to the shopping area. Room is a bit small for large luggages. But for 2 people is managable. Washroom is separated from bathroom which is great. We will be staying here again if we come back to Japan. Thank you.
Everything was fine but the breakfast was meh.
Wonderful staff Excellent location Quiet and super clean This is a small hotel in a fantastic location, all of Ginza is close As in all big cities the rooms are tight but the beds were very comfortable Very highly recommended
Very nice boutique hotel perfectly located in the shopping heart of Ginza. So much to see and do around that precinct but also very close to public transport. Staff weee very friendly and attentive. Great spot to stay.
Great place, lots of places to eat around and super walkable
Loved the property!
Fantastic hotel, great location, always super clean, lovely staff. Would stay here again!
The best hotel for me in Tokyo. Will always have this place as venue of happy memories with family
Very kind and hospitable staff.
Comfort at It's Best
The staff was amazing - so helpful and accommodating! The bed was super comfortable as well as the pillows. Highly recommend!
The mattress was very comfortable and very clean. The mattress looked brand new. There are 2 things great about the location. All the major luxury brands, Chanel, Fendi, Dior, etc were on the street one half a block away. The window shopping is fun. It is close to Shimbashi train station. There you can take the Toei Subway line to either Haneda or Narita for about $4. It also takes you to the Shytree and Ashkura historical district. You can get the famous Yamanote line there which will take to 30 major areas around city. The reason I did not give this property a 5 is it has a cold impersonal feel, and the food selection at the hotel restaurant is limited and seems expensive for what it is. There are lots of other places to eat nearby.
Location of the property was great. Easy access to public transit, restaurants, and shopping.
Great hotel - rooms are small and dominated by a very large but very comfortable bed.
Excellent location
Here's a short hotel review based on the 5-star ratings in the image: This hotel was an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed. The rooms were spotless, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were nice. The location was perfect too, with easy access to dining, shopping, and transportation. It was also surprisingly quiet and peaceful, which I really appreciated. I'd definitely stay here again without hesitation!

Great, Location, Wonderful Staff, Tasty Breakfast
I was very happy with The Royal Park Canvas, the hotel was in an ideal location in the heart of Ginza with many attractions within walking distance. The staff was excellent very friendly, thoughtful and willing to happily engage in conversation about Japan. The Japanese breakfast was delicious with an excellent presentation. The room was nicely decorated, the bathroom clean with good materials. The bed was comfortable. The only thing lacking were drawers for cloths and a closet, but they did provide a place to hang shirts and pants. The price was reasonable considering. Next trip to Tokyo, I will book again.
Definitely recommend for a friend trip!
I have loved every stay at any of The Royal Park locations and this one did not disappoint. Loved the design of the hotel rooms - very spacious, and the staff is just so friendly and accommodating. The one thing we noticed throughout Japan (so not just here) is that the beds/pillows can be quite hard but the duvet covers were nice and we loved being able to control the temperature in our room. Highly recommend this room configuration for a trip with a friend because the 2 Twins made it so we had our own beds and sleeping was comfortable.
Great room size, excellent service, must stay!
We had an amazing stay here. We stayed here for a total of 6 nights with a break in between when we traveled to another city, but they were so accommodating. They held a large luggage for each person staying in the room while we traveled away, which was a massive perk to not have to lug it from Tokyo to Kyoto and back. The staff is extremely friendly, great English speaking and just very helpful. The room style we stayed in was very large compared to most rooms you will find in this area, and it was extremely clean with everything you would need. HIGHLY recommend this location and The Royal Park group in general.
Great place to stay.
Stunningly beautiful, incredibly accommodating and helpful staff, delicious meals, comfortable and well-appointed room, conveniently located close to everything in Ginza yet quiet (even where our room was—on the 3rd floor!) no street noise. Loved it!
Had a wonderful stay, perfect location in a quiet and accessible area. Would highly recommend!
It’s was well maintained
Budget friendly stay in Ginza
Great for travelers. Close to subway stations. Staff is very friendly. Would stay again.
Liked everything about this hotel. Highly recommend. I already have my friend booked their stay in January. I will continue to recommend them with my friends and definitely will be there again next time we visit Japan.
The Royal Park Canvas Ginza 8 was a great place to start our time in Tokyo. It has an excellent location in the heart of high-end Ginza shopping, close to tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Rooms are tiny (as expected), but the bathroom was more spacious than we had expected and everything was super clean and well kept. Staff were polite. Daily breakfast was totally worth it - food was great and service was quick. I would stay here again (and probably opt for a larger room) and would recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Japan looking for a place in this price range!
This hotel was very disappointing. The online photos look much better than the property. The room they initially gave me had a building wall two feet from the window and the room was very dated. The staff begrudgingly moved me to a more acceptable room which wasn’t much nicer but at least the windows weren’t blocked. This hotel is severely overpriced for the condition of the property and amenities. I would never stay there again or recommend it. Very disappointed. There are much nicer hotels that cost a lot less.
The location of the hotel is perfect. Ginza is where I would recommend staying in Tokyo. The hotel staff was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Very convenient hotel in ginza
Hidden gem
It was our first time staying at the hotel. The location is good. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room size is acceptable.
Had a great stay here! The welcome drink tickets were a nice touch, along with the lounge on the 2nd floor. The location was A !
Good location. Room is very small, we had to step around each other and no storage beyond a couple of hanging hooks. Bathroom is a good size. The light comes in by sensor which due to the glass panel between the two rooms means a shot of light in the night if anyone uses the toilet! Like that all the extras are available from reception so no waste. Not a place to get a drink after 9.15pm, which was disappointing having come back from dinner. No access to rooftop terrace unless you are dining up there and the restaurant needs to be booked.
Awesome Location
The entire staff were excellent and the hotel was in the perfect location right in the heart of the eating and shopping district near Ginza 6 and 8. The rooms are small but that is normal for Japan. We ate out every day so I can't comment on the food or restaurant at the hotel.
Great value for Ginza
Excellent stay and room
The room was very very dark and smelled. No view whatsoever the window got blocked from next building. The good thing about this place is staffs are very friendly and it is close to main Ginza.
Amazing Hotel; Amazing Staff; Amazing Location!!!!
The Royal Park Canvas Ginza 8 is a lovely hotel right in the heart of Ginza. The staff are so helpful and friendly and make your stay so enjoyable. I wouldn't stay anyplace else in Tokyo. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are all very well appointed. They have a lovely bar; Haruka is just amazing at preparing specialty cocktails and also makes beautiful shaved ice concoctions. You will not e disappointed. This hotel is extra special!
Loved our 6 night stay here in September. Quiet but still right off the main road in Ginza, very clean, offers daily cleaning, daily amenities available in the lobby on your way back to the room. Loved the separate shower/soaking tub. Spacious room for Tokyo. Come with welcome drinks at the bar in the lobby. Lounge area on second floor to relax, didn’t try the restaurants. Close to 2 lines, very convenient, lots of conbini, shops, dining options, bars nearby in walking distance. Will stay here again.
The location is convenient for shopping. We booked different reservations and different types of room due to other places we visited and one friend left early so we stayed in a bigger room for 3 people. The superior twins was very nice cos the door for shower/tub was tinted so one can shower while the other can still use the sink, but the deluxe twins room’s (bigger size) door is clear so it can see through and not able to have 2 people in there the same time. The standard twins and superior twins rooms are very dark. There’s no extra light or floor lamp so you won’t be able to see well when packing. Also, there’s not enough hooks or bar to hang your towels and clothes which I find common every hotel nowadays. The breakfast was decent but does not have a lot of options. It’s only 3 choices of bento box style and the same stuff everyday. Japanese, American, and vegetable. If pay in advance when booking the room, then it’s like $12 each, reasonable, otherwise, it’s $22 pay at the restaurant, then might not be worth it. But the stay overall was good.
overall good
The location is prime if the purpose of your trip to Tokyo are shopping and dining. Everywhere is within walking distance. Staffs are super kind and accommodating. Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
Business trip. Restaurant Obuses is overpriced for supper vs quality & service.
Staff is great. Not the quietest because of the busy Ginza. Good location.
Second time staying at The Royal Park Canvas - Ginza 8 - our first stay was wonderful and so was this one. Great location within walking distance of great shopping, food options, and other amenities. Whether taking a taxi, an Uber, or a train, there are many options to get around the area as well as greater Tokyo. And, this modern hotel with an excellent restaurant, a cozy bar, a relaxing lounge, and friendly and courteous staff truly make it a memorable stay. We'll be back!
Business trip
Very friendly front desk, clean, welcome drink was nice, 2nd floor lounge has a cool vibe, huge bathroom, comfy beds, nice pajamas!
Clean and friendly staff. Well situated.
located in the high-end shopping area, a few minutes' walk to subway station. Room is small but has everything; lighting in the room is too dim, need one more light in the sitting area. Staff is very helpful; I had an online reservation for transportation to the airport, but the driver never contact me to confirm the pickup; front staff called the car company and the car driver to make sure he would come to pick up.
Cant beat the location. Room is a bit small but it’s ok.
Great boutique hotel and perfect area, in the heart of Ginza. Rooms are small but very nice and clean, we stayed at 2 different Royal Park hotels and they were both great!
Hotel is conveniently located in GINZA close to shopping and food. There wasn’t a closet or drawers so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. Also space is a bit tight, so not very suitable for multiple huge check in size luggage.
Perfect for Business or couple trip
This property had everything that we needed plus more! Since we were working while on this trip, we really appreciated the desk space on the 2nd level. The lounge area with the communal kitchen area was very helpful on warming up tasty leftovers. Made use of the washer & dryers too which surprisingly was very well priced. Would stay here again!

I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo!
I had a very nice stay in this hotel. The room was a bit small and difficult navigate around because of the huge piece of furniture that held the tv, fridge and storage draws that stood in front of the bed. The lighting in the bathroom wasn’t great either but the tub and shower was nice. Everything was convenient around, close to the train station, restaurants and shops! The Japanese breakfast included was amazing! And the restaurant and staff is really good and nice!
Great place staff were excellent and room was always clean and tidy - we are a couple over 178cm and the room was great for our size- it was central to everything and we would stay there again
Very convenient, clean and comfortable
Muy buena ubicación.
It was good
Love love love this hotel. It’s my 2nd time staying here since last year. Everything is just wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is going to Tokyo for its quietness, safeness, convenience, and the friendly service by all of their staff.
Location of the hotel is close to several trains (Shimbashi stations), shopping and restaurants. 15 minute walk to Tsukiji Outdoor Market which has a variety of food you eat and stand (beef over rice, sushi, wagyu beef on a stick, fruit bar, fruit shake and more). Staff at hotel are nice and helpful with my questions. Would stay here again.
Great hotel, excellent lounge area.
All the staff were very friendly. One even went above and beyond to help us get our Disney sea tickets at a family mart!!
Very nice hotel with resort amenities.
The room are tiny with spacious bathroom. The patio area is not quite what I expected very tiny
They have all you need in the middle of Ginza
We liked you have gum and laundry facility. If we had a bath tub, that would make our stay perfect!
Very affordable especially with the amenities included
Location is great. No frills hotel
Not many amenities.
Location to Ginza shopping district is excellent. Wakable to everything. The night manager on the night of our arrival was amazing ans very helpful ang sorted immediately a slight problem w/ our booking. Breakky is ok but no variations. Will defo come back and highly recommended!
Rooms were small and clean and staff was really nice
When checking out, if you’re not out of the room by 11, management will be knocking on your door. Breakfast is amazing. The Chef and staff are courteous.
We had ab excellent stay. Clean rooms. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant
Spacious room in Tokyo! Facilities are nice and new! Location is great!
Hotel is so center for everything to do in Tokyo.
Great hotel, great stay. In the middle of everything..Thanks!!!
Location is good that’s all
very nice property, its just that the rooms are small
Right in the heart of the Highest End in Shopping. Small rooms but to be expected in Japan. Convenient to all transportation.
Great location -- easy walk to Metro (Ginza and Marunochi lines) one stop away from Tokyo Station). Great shopping and dining options within walking distance. Safe neighborhood. Clean rooms. Nightly change of pajamas a nice touch! Great service by reception.
Very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Room was very small and window faced a wall three feet away with no sunlight.
This felt like a luxury hotel, but was quite affordable! We had a double twin and it was so comfy, and the bathroom was fabulous and spacious. The black out panels for the windows made it completely dark! My only complaint would be asking the hotel to post a sign outside the elevators to not talk loudly after 10 pm…the elevators were quite slow to arrive and our room was right across from them and it could be noisy late at night or early in the morning. Three convenience marts within two blocks!!!
A Great First!!!
Excellent stay!!! It was me and my husband's first time in Tokyo and were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff was very customer service oriented, friendly and helpful!!
Great stay at this location very clean and close to public transportation the area was super safe and the staff was very welcoming I recommend a great stay at this location.
Very solid stay
There room is on the smaller side. There was no view when we looked out from the window, just the opposite building less than a stone throw away. The staff is excellent. It was raining very hard on our last day and they loaned us two umbrellas to use. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were a soft and a firmer pillow to choose from.
Top highlight - very friendly and helpful staff! Great experience. We really enjoyed the spacious, well-decorated lounge area, and it was helpful to have access to a self-service laundry room. Breakfast was great with Japanese, western, and vegetarian options. Prime location in the heart of Ginza, walking distance to Tokyo Station as well.
It was in the middle of everything. Big enough room space for a Japan hotel room.
This hotel had the perfect location. We were like a block away from all the really high-end stores. We were a couple blocks away from the subway and the dunk QT and lots of food. The 7-Eleven right on the corner makes it nice. Plenty of options around the hotel.
We were so happy with this hotel. The people were so wonderful, clean, local and overallgreat.
Perfect location for Commuting! Everything thing is nearby. We loved our stay at this hotel! Will definitely come back!
Perfect location
It is closed to everything- from train stations (Ginza Station 5 min walk, Shimbashi Station 7mim walk), surrounded with nice restaurants, high end stores and Ginza 6 (enormous shopping mall). Family Mart convenience store is just across the street. Don Quijote is a 3 min walk. They provide PJ’s (smaller in size, though), skin care products. The staff speak very good English, friendly and helpful. I like them a lot. Nice restaurant on the top floor with terrace.
Very clean great service
Ginza!
This was our second hotel on this trip to Japan and we couldn’t have asked for more. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the location is ideal, close to shopping and restaurants.
Look no further, this hotel is wonderful!
Really nice and quiet hotel right in Ginza. Easy walk to everything if you want to shop or travel. Room layout worked great. Didn’t have much view but we just wanted to sleep after a day in the surrounding area. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Clean and safe and friendly staff

A good city hotel
A brilliant location in Ginza, perfect for shopping and seeing Tokyo’s sights! Breakfast not great though. Rooms are small but ok size wise, bed was big and comfortable - expect some noise staying in a busy area of the city.
