Loved our stay at the Ritz. It was our first time staying with this brand of hotel so didn't know what to expect, but the amount of service and attention we receive was incredible. If you want to be taken care of like royalty, you should definitely stay here. The views are amazing, rooms are extremely well maintained and outfitted. The top floor swimming pool was outstanding - the water is the perfect temperature. We only wished that there was a slightly shallower end of the pool so children could play freely. The entire pool is 4.4 feet deep so it's great for adults. They have so many staff on hand throughout the hotel, it's fantastic! We did find that there wasn't a lot of things to do within walking distance of the hotel, but it was a short taxi ride to the surrounding areas anyway, so not a big deal. We would definitely consider staying here again as a treat for ourselves.

Exceptional in every way. Absolutely flawless!!

I could could not speak more highly of this hotel and the amazing staff. Everything was flawless. The room, restaurants and the rooftop bar were all well above my expectations. Everyone in the team went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. I’ve been lucky to travel all over the world and stay on some of the most amazing properties, but this hotel was hands down the best experience yet. I would almost go back to HKG just for the hotel.

We stayed in the Grand Room with a stunning view of Victoria Harbor and the sea. The service was exceptional, and the two-night stay was worth every penny. The room featured luxurious bedding and top-of-the-line amenities, and we enjoyed complimentary turn-down and morning cleaning each day. The staff was attentive and courteous during check-in and check-out, and the property was immaculate and spacious. Overall, a memorable experience with unparalleled views and hospitality that made our stay truly special.

Excellent hôtel , fantastic view ,great breakfast although the dimsum variety is limited , the bed is among the most comfortable I have had . The shower has no holding bar , so for a weaker old man like me is a bit risky . Rolls Royce service to airport is about $300 I was told , Peninsula is $100 per hour but with older model . I think it’s a good deal if you have 4 passengers . I’d try next time .

Exceptional Hotel with the best views!

This is an exceptional hotel with the best views of the city... you are literally above the clouds! Definitely recommend staying at the Club level if possible. Hotel staff was absolutely amazing! Especially Mark at the Club level, he was incredible! Also at the lounge, a big thank you to Chef Tommy who made special dishes for me due to allergies, and thanks to Mia, Franco and Spencer for always being so kind and attentive! Remi at Guest Services was a delight to see every day and even helped patch up a piece of luggage that the airline broke! Thank you to Chef Alicia who made a special cake for my mother's birthday and some allergy-friendly pastries for me as well! Chef Raul was wonderful as well as Mancy at Front Desk!

It’s always my top choice of hotel in Hong Kong. Love this highest hotel in HK with great view. The staff is exceptionally attentive and warm. I always get personalized service there. The swimming pool is a must-visit item on my list. Club lounge service is the best in HK when compared with other hotels in the same tier which I have visited.

Best Hotel Experience Ever

My wife and I had the best Hotel experience ever. We were overwhelmed with hospitality. Every employee maintained the same level of excellent customer service.

The staff were all friendly & amazing especially the general manager, Charles!

A truly wonderful hotel with the most attentive and considerate staff (a special shout out to Lincoln for the upgrade). Views are breathtaking and the hotel is spotless. The bar and restaurant is great plus ozone was excellent too. This is truly a step beyond any hotel I’ve stayed in. Highly recommended.

The fixtures in the bathrooms seem to be outdated and out of shape. Otherwise, everything else was good!

Good hospitality

The sliding doors of the bathroom slides open after closing. I believe it’s due to wear and tear. But after staying a few nights in that room, I figured how to hold it shut. Just needed to struggle with it a little. It took an unusual long time for the faucets at the bathtub to fill up. Just some maintenance needed. Staff, service, the room, the view, the club lounge experience were all superb!

Very good service and great sea view!

The hotel is near and tidy, the staff takes great care of the guests, and there are room introductions after check-in. Although, the hotel has been in operation for about 11 years, the room maintenance has taken a great care, but it does a good job and will not be old fashion.

We did a staycation and it was just perfect. The room was beautiful and spacious with outstanding views. Huge bathroom. We got club lounge access which was amazing. Great food quality and variety at 4 times a day. All day drinks. Impeccable service. The indoor pool is huge and beautiful.

Perfect stay for our 20th!

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with a night’s stay at the Ritz in Hong Kong. Nicole at the front desk, with a nice big smile, congratulated us and helped us with the check-in. Our room was upgraded to one with a most splendid panoramic view covering Central and the outlying islands. A cake was also brought to us in our room, very thoughtful of them! Most excellent service! On the other hand, I believe that the hotel could work on some sound proofing as I could hear conversations (with clarity) in an adjacent room in our bathroom.

The room is clean, the harbour sea view is good, and also the swimming pool and gym room. The receptionist is nice. However, it is too expensive not to include breakfast.

Ritz-Carlton HK stay

The checkin was delayed, but the manager offered us complimentary drink while we waiting for our room. The services and environment was good. One thing can be improved was the in-room dining, the food quality wasnt up to expectation.

Views were amazing, staff very friendly. They gave us a table with epic views during breakfast. The pool was fun. All in a great stay!

Fantastic 1 night staycation

Chose a room with a harbour view. It lived up to expectations, all aspects were excellent. Beautifully clean and spacious.

Need more qualified gym reception staff

All good but the whole stay was not enjoyable due to terrible pool booking and management! No people restrictions on gym while strict restrictions on swimming pool! We were allowed walk for the pool and one hour later (when pool was not full still) not allowed to go and need to wait till our booking time! At the same time, anyone can go to gym without limitations! I understand covid restrictions but this is completely inconsistency in managing the gym and spa safety! Especially the staff at reception is unexperienced so instead of explaining the rational of rejecting us, they only can say “no, please wait for your booking time!” It’s just made us feel so bad during the whole stay!

The view from the room was spectacular and the staff was helpful. Just wished that the mattress was firmer.

Amazing stay

Amazing view and superb service from the Ritz Carlton team. My fiancé and I stayed on 115 floor, grand harbour view room , where you have can see the Victoria harbor, as well as most places in Kowloon. Being able to see the weather change at a high level was also fascinating for us, as we were surrounded by fog at a high level. And they just keep comes and goes. Really amazing. We dined at tin lung heen for supper, food was overall okay. And I think there’s some room for improvement. Excellent stay overall!

Very average stay as the hotel obviously is getting very old with 10 years not being refurbished. No 5star highlight here as neither welcome fruits nor turndown chocolate or anything is provided in comparison to equally ranked competitive hotels. Average hotel with an excellent view.

Wonderful service and attention to detail. Truly 5-star. Our only qualm was the pool, which was epic and beautiful apart from the many screaming children whose voices echoed off the walls.

I stay 2 nights with my kids in this beautiful view hotel. Indoor swimming pool is warm and very comfortable. Love the pool.

All good(The room and the view) except breakfast......Very disappointing their buffet breakfast. Not recommended. And also afternoon tea at Lounge & Bar. Most of them are ordered from factory. Not made by hotel. Too bad.

Pre birthday stay at Ritz

Everything from the moment I was greeted at the elevator was excellent. A special thank you to May at the front desk who remembered a previous birthday I had at the hotel for my 24th birthday and upgraded my room to a Victoria harbour view room and gave me late check out the next day before I had even asked if it was possible. All the staff are very friendly and demonstrate excellent hospitality to their guests and make every effort to engage in conversation with guests and make you feel at home. I can't recommend this place enough! I'll be back within the next couple weeks!

Nice view, nice service, i have added extra cash for lounge entry which is so worth it, staff are amazing, they are so friendly n helpful all thru my stay, esp the staff working in lounge, they are making me so welcomed, sure will book another stay soon

Staycation

Wonderful staycation facilitated by the amazing staff of the Ritz. Very clean and comfortable room with some of the best views of Hong Kong. We’ll definitely be back!

Extraordinary competent staff. Aside from the beauty of the hotel and the breathtaking rooftop bar, the location (Kowloon Train Station) afforded us an easy 40 minute trip (from hotel room through airport immigration to gate) stress free! Highly recommend a stay at this unique hotel.

Proactive, thoughtful, amazing service.

Absolutely amazing. In the past we usually stay at Shangri-La because they’re known for their service. After our stay, we are rethinking our future hotel choice because the Ritz in HK is all centred on being accommodating and proactive. Nothing was too much trouble. Especially with the executive lounge - the staff, drinks and food was of very high quality. Thank you so much for making our NYE special - even without the fireworks this year!

The property is beautiful. The views are unparalleled. The restaurants and bars on property are gorgeous as well. Really cool feeling to know how high you are in the sky.

This property has best view of Hong Kong . The room is great , staffs are helpful . We stay here to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The staff specially surprise us with balloon , cake and handwritten card. It is really thoughtful and make our anniversary so memorible. We will definitely come back again .

The Best Experience EVERRRRRR

Had the most amazing time at the ritz!! The room was booked to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and the service was exceptional. I informed them about the occasion in advance and they surprised us by decorating the room with a complimentary cake, a birthday card, and a framed picture of me and my boyfriend (loveeee it!!!). Special thanks to Aven who has made our stay beyond perfect :))) He is such an angel!!! We also want to thank the team who has made this birthday celebration memorable :)) Words cannot describe how delighted we were when we saw all these preparations and hard work!! Definitely recommend it for occasions / celebrations!! It's really the best :DDD

Happy in Hong Kong

The wife and I had a whirlwind of a trip through a week of Hong Kong, all in the lap of luxury thanks to the Ritz Carlton. I can see why this hotel ranks as the second best RC property in the world. Very modern, comfortable rooms with impeccable service. And the best part is every single room has an outstanding view. We saw all angles and prefer the view we had in our room, which is the city scape view panning across Kowloon with angles of the bay on each side, we were on the 113th floor. The pool area is outstanding, I recommend seeing if you're brave enough to try the icy chilled tub which is barely above freezing temperature and then diving in the hot tub! There is a mall attached to the hotel that is very convenient for your shopping and dining needs. The only downside to being that high up is we spent a stretch of a couple days permanently in the clouds, so your view is limited to being in a cloud. Even that in and of itself is a fun novelty. The only criticism I would have is we tried the michelin tasting menu with wine pairing at their 2 michelin star cantonese restaurant which came to a total of $890 for the two of us. It was a fun experience, but overpriced. The food was good but not great. I recommend going to Kam's roasted goose across the bay, it will run you 1/10th the cost and is far more delicious. All in all I highly recommend this hotel. Spending a little bit extra goes a long way to have an unforgettable and luxurious experience in Hong Kong!

Beautiful place with great service

Beautiful hotel on the 107 floor of the tallest building in Hong Kong. Fantastic view when the clouds were not there. Service was superb. Everybody so helpful. Just be aware of very expensive food menu.

Amazing views Hotel with an unmissable Pool

Fantastic hotel located just an airport train ride away. We had a lovely 113th floor harbour view room decorated for our Anniversary celebration along with a delicious cake. The 118th floor pool was amazing and made even more by the wonderful Sunny Chan who looked after us so very well and took the most amazing photos so that we could have great memories to treasure, made even better with the complimentary glasses of Champagne, thank you so much Sunny. It was also great to check out the highest bar in the world on their 118th floor Ozone Bar that guests had direct access to and we were looked after by the lovely Alana up there. Every staff member we encountered was just lovely which made our stay unforgettable and definitely not the last.
