Very clean, quiet and convenient
Conveniently located steps from Earls Court station, with the quiet setting of South Kensington, we loved our stay. The kitchenette was put to good use, and we appreciated the excellent housekeeping during our stay. Will definitely recommend!
EXCELLENT
Lovely location and greeted with wine!
wonderful location, wonderful staff. well located.
Excellent location, service, and staff, with great value for money.
Great stay at this hotel. The little touches like the handwritten welcome note and complimentary drinks set the place apart.
The shower water was lukewarm more than once during our 2 night stay. It was disappointing to have to shower with a chill after all the walking we did in the city. We needed a hot shower to relax our muscles.
The staff were genuinely such nice people. My fiance was sick so we booked an extra night and they even left her a card. Would absolutely stay here again!!
Really wonderful experience and the staff were simply amazing!
Never dissapoints
Always a pleasure to stay at The Resident Kensington when back in London.Extremely convenient for transporting and quiet zone
A surprisingly great little hotel.
What a great little hotel. I didn't have high expectations because the price was so reasonable for central London. My room was a small double - but plenty large enough for me as a solo traveller - very well-equipped with a spacious bathroom, and a little cupboard containing a a microwave, coffee maker, kettle, cutlery and crockery. Hopefully I will be back with my wife to visit again.
Beautiful room and reception desk staff were all very helpful and friendly!
Excellent, staff was able to help me out with a US/UK charger immediately.
Lovely staff, great location, good room size when you book the superior room. The bathroom is a big issue. No heating. The shower which is inside a bath doesnt have any support and/or closure, so the whole bathroom gets wet and dangerous.
I loved everything.
The room was very cozy, and we liked that there was a little kitchen, which was very helpful for the dishes. Also we loved the warm towel rail in the bath! It is located near underground, Earl's Court station; 5 minutes by walk.
A lovely hotel for a couples break. Small, friendly, and in a quiet neighbourhood but convenient for Earl's court tube station. The staff make you feel welcome and are friendly, the rooms are spotless and comfortable. The small kitchenette in the room is a USP of the resident and a nice touch
Cute and a great location
Love this hotel. It was our second stay and just as good as last time. Comfortable bed, soft comfy towels, good size bathroom. Mini mini kitchenette. All great!
Kitchen
Really lovely location, excellent customer service and brilliant room. Every single staff member was really helpful. Room was large, bright, bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was a welcome addition. Short walk to Earls Court Tube is a bonus.
Fantastic hotel and highly recommend. Nishan and the team were on hand to help with anything. Top class service and I will go back again.
Very friendly staff and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!
Nice hotel. 5 minute walk to nearest tube station
Loved it
A beautiful hotel , excellent rooms and service from all the staff of the highest standard .
Location is great. A few minutes from the Tube station, nice pubs and restaurants close by as well. Rooms are a reasonable size, with good ensuite bathroom with a decent sized and excellent shower.
I liked the property and the staff overall. The beds were not the most comfortable but they were fine. The hotel was cost effective and clean. The staff were all respectful and pleasant. The only issue I had I was the thinness of the walls.
Very clean, but walls seemed thin since we woke up a few times from our neighbors across the hall
Very helpful staff and great location. Construction at the back of the building was a bit annoying but not bad.
Would stay again
I enjoyed staying at this quiet hotel, a short and safe walk from the Earl's Court tube line. I would definitely stay here again.
My 2nd time to stay at The Resident Kensington. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! It is # 1 in Earls Court ( my only and favorite area to stay in) # 2 - Convenient to Earls Court Station ( from there you can go any and everywhere) # 3 Its a lovely smaller hotel, but ,with amenities everyone needs ( small refrigerator, microwave, sink, electric teapot and dishes and utensils) #4 - Everyone on the staff is beyond helpful and friendly!! I just left this morning- 12/22/2024 and I already cannot wait to come back and spend time in my absolute favorite place in the world - LONDON- the Resident Kensington just makes it all so much better!!! Cheers!!!!
Nice big room for a London hotel, excellent shower and bathroom facilities, big comfortable king bed. Very friendly staff.
Our experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory. The room was extremely small, and everything inside was old and outdated. The bathtub drain overflowed every time we showered, and despite bringing this to the staff’s attention, nothing was done to resolve it. I also inquired about VIP perks and potential upgrades, but I was told no upgrades were available. It honestly felt like they didn’t even want to make an effort to accommodate the request. The hotel itself is quite old, and it shows in every aspect of the room. There was no help with luggage, no breakfast provided, and the only dining option was to order from an outside café. While they delivered the food to our room for free, the quality was terrible and not worth it. The only saving grace was the convenient location, but that alone isn’t enough to make up for the poor service and outdated facilities. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.
.
Great location.
Extremely comfortable king size bed ensuring a good nights sleep. Two minute walk to Earls Court tube, bars and restaurants. 15 minute walk to the museums and Royal Albert Hall. Room had added bonus of a fridge and microwave hidden behind wardrobe doors making it easy to self cater a little if staying for more than one night.
Nice hotel with great staff. Very handy to transport and museums.
The property was excellent, very clean and modern with tasteful decor. All staff were polite, friendly and extremely helpful. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Kensington Resident.
All good
Lovely hotel
Great staff. Clean comfy room
It was my second stay at this hotel and it was just as amazing. Staff is extremely attentive and welcoming. It’s close to the tube station, which is a great starting point for any destination. You’re away from the main part of the city, so you are able to decompress. Great pubs are also by the tube as well as fast food options. There’s also nearby grocery stores if preferred. This is my go to stay in London.
Expensive box room
Very small apartment for a very high price .. no black out on window and very bright light shining in to the room form outside
Tube station in less than 5 minutes walk distance. Many nice restaurants at the other side of the street. The hotel is in a peaceful neighborhood, 3 museums are in walkable distance. Staff are sweet and friendly. My room was small but very comfortable, clean , warm and cozy. Perfect for solo travel. My favorite place in London.
Super convenient location close to the underground and staff was so friendly. Room was a perfect size and neighborhood was quiet
Cute, clean, with friendly staff. They also cleaned the room each day of my stay, which I didn’t expect.
Location, staff, cleanliness, spacious family room , proximity to tube, supermarkets and room service all are excellent
Lovely property in quiet neighborhood, close to Tube
Check in was smooth and greeted by friendly and professional staff. The room was nice and clean with the advertised amenities. Others were available from reception on request. Bathroom had nice toiletries included. Shower was very good with good water pressure. Towels were luxuriously soft. Overall a fantastic 4* hotel which I will be returning to next time I’m in the area.
Staff were professional and always helpful and kind. Very clean property, lift and room.
Dreadful seevice
Room was fine and bed comfy. My issue was that I booked this for after an event I was at and therefore didn’t arrive until 3.30am. A key reason why I chose this hotel was the advertised 24/7 reception desk. The staff on the desk were quite rude and informed me that they had marked my reservation as a no show and they may not be able to give me a room. I had paid in full. They didn’t apologise for this but told me to wait for around 15mins whilst they worked out if they could. I genuinely believe they would have sent me away however I expressed frustration and annoyance which then made them ask me to wait whilst they chatted to decide if they would help me. As a woman on her own I found the whole thing unbelievable uncomfortable and was made to feel like I had done something wrong. Would never stay again and would strongly recommend not staying as a solo traveller.
Excellent customer service
Staffs are friendly and wonderful. We got welcome with a cappuccino and a birthday surprise for my wife. I recommend this hotel to anyone
very small room / noisy construction noise next door
Family break
Lovely room. Bonus of a kitchenette, especially when traveling as a family. Tube just round the corner and on the Piccadilly line - what’s not to like? We enjoyed our stay here.
In-room food area was good. Free aperatifs were great! Great, safe neighbourhood, with easy access to Earl's Court tube station. The room was slightly cold, but warm once under the covers!
Lovely stay at the Resident Kensington
We had a lovely overnight stay at the Resident Kensington for a 60th Birthday and Anniversary. The staff were so polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our Room was spotless and extremely comfortable. Great location for the tube and in walking distance to Kensington High street. Would highly recommend this lovely Hotel for a stay in London.
Lovely friendly hotel
Nive hotel with lovely friendlt staff. Good location for tube and the rooms, hotel is very pleasant. There is no breakfast room which is a let down.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, small kitchenette stocked with complementary wine, tea/coffee. Very quiet. Convenient to Piccadilly line to Heathrow LHR 40min (£6).
The best thing about this property are the staff - welcoming, helpful & kind
Would Definitely Stay Again…!
Great location in the west side of central London, one block from the Earls Court Tube. Plus several great restaurants right in the immediate vicinity. Hotel staff are super friendly, helpful with any questions, and even serve wine nightly at 6pm. The room was super clean with a mini kitchen for convenience (great for happy hour snacks). The shower was awesome! Definitely recommend…
Nice enough hotel with appreciated wine bottle at check in. Room floor could use some cleaning and the room is especially small, even for Europe. Very walkable and the tube stop is fantastic. Very convenient for getting to/from Heathrow.
Close to Earl’s Court tube station. Great little hotel. Friendly staff. Great room with long bed and small single for our son. Would stay again
Got the room for three people and it was trash. Makeshift beds but cost over $400 for one night.. showerhead broken and condition of room was okay.
Lovely place. Staff was helpful and very friendly.
Very accommodating. Fun happy hour. We really enjoyed our stay
3 nights at The Resident Kensington
Excellent staff at the front desk. Always helpful and knowledgeable. We needed a taxi to Heathrow and they booked us a private driver who arrived exactly on time. The hotel is on a quiet and safe residential street but there are restaurants, bakeries, shopping and the Earls Court tube station with in 2 blocks. Great location. I would stay there again.
Staff are so friendly Very well located
Excellent hotel in a great location
Abt 5min walk frm earl's court station so thats super convenient. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Room was clean and quiet. Would def like to stay here again on my next trip to london
The room was really disappointing. I booked a Deluxe Double room based on images on here but it looked nothing like it, & needed blinds/curtains to stay shut for privacy as it was right by parking spaces. As a solo travelling woman it was offputting to be in a basement/ground floor flat, but mostly it's just irritating to book a room that's shown to be lovely, bright and looked worth paying more for, and being so disappointed. I appreciate not all rooms will look identical but the basement deluxe double room is so different that it feels like false advertising. Staff and lobby area were good & the local area felt safe but based on the room difference vs booking made, and it having a shower that didn't drain + dirty wine glasses too, I wouldn't recommend.
Excellent Accommodation
Good quiet residential location within 6 minute walk of Gloucester Road Tube - numerous eating options in the vicinity- good comfortable hotel - can recommend.
Staff pleasant and great location. However, it is poor value for the price. Room L1, a deluxe double with an outdoor patio, had major construction that butted right up against and rose for stories above patio wall. Scaffolding and full crew starting at 8:30am. Courtesy bottle of wine was nice. But, There were no wash clothes, q-tips or shower cap. No bottle of water. Missing basic amenities expected for (inc taxes) $422 USD a night- without breakfast. Kitchenette is a closet with a small fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker that you find in any standard hotel room. Only bonus was small microwave. Shop around. Location is lovely and there are many hotels in the neighborhood. This simply isn’t a $400 hotel room.
The hotel was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were too flat but the sheets were of excellent quality. The room was very small and the narrow halls and staircases made it difficult to carry luggage.
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating - made sure we were very comfortable during our stay. We have stayed here a few times and will make The Resident Kensington our go to hotel in London.
Very well kept and quiet. Polite and respectful staff.
we love the convenient location and the nice and quite neighbourhood. The room is small for a standard double room making unpacking and packing quite a struggle. Staff is friendly and attentive though a bit strict for the check in time, we arrived two hours earlier and was declined for getting a room.
Nice Stay.
Great staff
Great location, pleasant and helpful staff, clean rooms
Small quiet hotel & very close to the underground transit station.
Excellent staff.
Such and amazing neighborhood and I loved my room
Great location as very central and close to transit. Rooms were pretty big. The service from the team was fabulous, all very helpful and pleasant. I would definitely go back to this location in a heartbeat. Wish I could remember the names of all the front desk team, but they were all so fabulous!!
Lovely hotel with great service and comfortable rooms. Can’t beat the location near Kensington palace and gardens!
Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable, quiet and affordable. Great location to dinning and transportation - Underground 1 block away. Great neighborhood.
Room was very small but otherwise nice. Good location. Very expensive compared with Resident Hotel in Liverpool.
The staff were amazing and I loved the location!
This hotel is only few minutes within walking distance to the station. It is a boutique hotel.
Clean property- felt safe. Staff was so polite and friendly and helpful
Staff was great and the location was very nifty getting onto the tube and finding places to eat. Would stay at this location again!
Perfect location for exploring and convenient for V&A museum. Lovely room with excellent facilities and staff very welcoming.
Great Boutique Hotel
Very helpful staff and enjoyed the glass of wine for happy hour
Good
I liked that this hotel has easy access to the underground station. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the hotel was clean and pleasant. Staff working at the front desk in the lobby were friendly and helpful.
The staffs are courteous and helpful. Checkin and checkout process are very smooth. The only thing is that the room is super small.
Everything was lovely
