Fantastic property and staff! Excellent breakfasts! Centrally located to city!
Needs more counter space in the bathroom.
Good hotel in a good location. We had an enjoyable stay.
Location friendly and helpful staff Great breakfast selection
We had a great stay at the republic. It is a bit off the beaten path for main attractions, but nice and quiet area.
hosts and staff are very helpful and nice
Close to Termini station, clean, well presented, great service and excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay again.
Great location, very clean room & breakfast was good! Definitely stay here.
The Republic is a beautiful Hotel, and conveniently just steps away from the train station. They have a lovely breakfast in the morning, the bed was very comfortable, the room was gorgeous and the staff are superb! I'm so glad I chose this hotel for my stay in Rome- 5 stars all around!
Great location to get around the get around the city. Central to train station and the Metro

Great stay
The bell boy was very helpful. Very reasonable price and good room size and very decent decoration. Will stay again when I go to Rome in the future.
Great location, walking distance from the main train station. Stayed here with my 10yo, felt very safe just being the two of us. Very kind, friendly & accessible staff!
Nice property, good breakfast. Quiet.
Very clean, great hot shower. Nice breakfast and they were so kind.
Very nice and clean hotel. Their breakfast buffet is amazing. Only downside for me is the location, very far from everything, not walkable to attractions, but super conveniently close to the Roma Termini.
Good location
Nice hotel with free buffet breakfast. Very close to the train station, Spanish steps and Trevi fountain
The property is just 7-8 minutes away from Roma termini so all the attractions were easily accessible through metro.
Breakfast was wonderful. Is close to most sites. We loved it here. Staff are great. Thank you
Loved it!
Exellent breakfast
Very nice hotel perfect for Termini
Excellent and convenient hotel
Very nice hotel close to the main train station in Rome. We had to leave early for the airport, and they boxed up a breakfast for us to take along. Great showers too!
Unforgettable 5 nights' stay
Excellent experience. Great location. Very good breakfast. Close to Termini station eases your transportation- movements.
Friendly staff, clean hotel. Very close to Rome Termini and other attractions. Definitely recommend.

Everything was poor
Everything
Price was good And the location was very convenient
We had a fabulous 3 night stay at The Republic Hotel in Rome. The hotel is in a wonderful location, close walking distance to the main Roma Termini train station (6mins). We caught the train from the airport to Roma Termini which took 30mins and cost €14.00 per person. Definitely reccomend this option! The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. We opted for a basic room, which was modern and very clean, it exceeded all of our expectations, it had a full mini fridge, TV, hairdryer, safe, digital aircon and heat thermostat and ample space for hanging clothes and storaging luggage. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable! The staff came in daily to make our bed and also provided fresh towels every day. The breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice from fresh fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereals, continental to full english breakfast. A selection of fresh juices, teas and coffee machine. I would highly recommend to stay at The Republic Hotel, and would definitely stay here again when I come back to Rome in the future.
We enjoyed our second stay at the Republic and have referred several friends to the hotel. It has a first class breakfast, WiFi, and elevator. It is close enough to Termini to be convenient but not too close to the negativity that accompanies the station. Our room was perfect for our stay. The only negative is the shower, which is with the worst possible flooring when wet and soapy. I felt lucky to have not fallen.
Great transportation options
Very easy to get to and lots of transportation options. Clean, good breakfast and comfortable for good price.
Le personnel est très agréable surtout la réception des gens vraiment charmants qui rendent votre séjour meilleur.
Great location only 25 minute walk to most attractions. Room was lovely and clean and quiet. Overall 5 star stay would recommend
Great location and great staff
Great stay
Hotel rooms are very nice and in excellent condition. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Centrally located near Termini in Rome
Excelent hotel
Excelent hotel. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable. Staff very accomodating. The locaton is excellent, close to all the tourist sites. Many restaurants nearby. We definitely will stay there again.
Excellent Service ! Great smell when you enter the lobby.
Besides breakfast that need to be improved everything is perfectly fine
Always a great stay
This is our go-to hotel when we stay in Rome. Professional, courteous and convenient. Only good things to say.
just great. good food. nice service
Nice visit
Great place to stay with friendly, professional, and knowledgeable staff!
Hotel is in a great location close to Termini station and well maintained. Staff were friendly and responsive. Overall enjoyed the stay.
We arrived early (around 9:30am) at the hotel way before check-in, hoping to deposit our luggage but instead, the nice gentleman working the front desk said he can check if he can already put us in an available room and he did. It definitely made our day and the start of our trip in Rome a memorable one. The rest of the staff were wonderful - all very helpful and accommodating. The free breakfast was a plus, too. The hotel was walking distance (about 13-25 minute walk) to most of the historical attractions. Lots of dining options around, too. Overall, a great stay. Will stay there again on our next visit.
Loved our stay
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Everyone was so nice and helpful from the gentlemen behind the desk at checkin, the nice young man from The Gambia helping at breakfast and the recommendation for dinner. The breakfast was excellent and fresh.
Nice hotel.
Breakfast and location near train termini were good. There is one block between train termini and hotel that was shady with trash containers and homeless people.
Excellent
Excellent
I would say that it is the best hotel to stay in Rome(Termini Station).
A comfy home away from home
A very comfortable stay in a great location, very comfy bed and delicious breakfast ❤️🙏
Breakfast (food and staff) best part of the trip. Rest of the hotel could take an upgrade.
The Republic Hotel is very near the main train station called Roma Termini station. It was a short walk to and from the hotel to the terminal. You can walk to nearby churches and shops there in Rome.
Hotel was just okay.
This is a delightful hotel with friendly and professional staff, clean and comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast buffet, and a convenient location.
Great breakfast
Housekeeping was great. Good location. Room was small with no place to sit except the bed. Good hotel for a few night stay.
Modern facility very close to main station; staff very attentive; breakfast selections top notch. Only stayed one night before flight home, but would stay longer if I am again in Rome.
Super clean. Polite, helpful staff. Great location.
Excellent location for all the attractions
Very nice property.
I stayed for 3 nights. The hotel room is clean, looks like newly renovated. The staffs are friendly. The hotel is walking distance to Termini Station.
Good breakfast buffet, some great nearby restaurants, near Termini train and Metro stations.
Great place! Breakfast was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Bubokar and Mor were great as well! Would stay again.
VERY good Rome hotel.
All around excellent stay.
Really great staff
Clean comfortable rooms
Stayed here for a quick overnight stay. Room was very small but very clean, new and comfortable. Location a bit far from the forum and colloseum but close enough to Termini.
Easy walking distance from the Termini (with light luggage). The evening staff very helpful, including recommendations for off-site dining (la Famiglia was superb), and the breakfast room staff was very attentive and responsive. Delicious and diverse choices for breakfast.
Great location Great Breakfast 😎
A really nice and recently renovated property, centrally located to all transportation, including hop on/hop off buses. The room was clean and comfortable, and the shower was great. Breakfast was included, and a good variety of hot/cold options. We were very comfortable staying here, and would definitely come back.
We enjoy the little time we were there
We arrived at about 9am. The front desk kept our bags until check in so we could explore the city. The breakfast was sufficient. The staff was very friendly. The room is small but was clean & just enough space for my husband & I.
The property itself is okay although I would not rate it a four star experience. The area surrounding the hotel is rough at night, with strong smells and dim street lighting making it feel somewhat unsafe. The room was again okay - a bit small. The shower gel dispenser didn’t work (even after asking for it to be fixed), there was your bog-standard paper cups and Nescafé sachets (rather cheap for a four star hotel!) and there was no free water in the room. Our window opened out onto the road and could hear the traffic, even when it was shut. The air conditioning was very good though. We didn’t use the in-house breakfast but the room it’s served in is a little pokey - more befitting a B&B. We took the view that eating breakfast out in the city was far better. Overall, I would not choose to stay here again.
Great place to stay not too far from all the main points in the city
The hotel is clean, they have a good breakfast. Everything is good.
The hotel was nice and clean, but the staff was extremely rude, unfriendly and wouldn't even say hello when passing the lobby. The workers at breakfast were kinda nice though. The location is close to the train station, but so much homeless around and so far from so much. At night, be careful and aware around the hotel.
Room was clean and well appointed. Service was excellent. I highly recommend this Hotel. It's convenient to the Metro and the Rail Station as we left from there on Train to Venice.
Liked the shower, but the bottom was very slick. Wish there would’ve been coffee available in the lobby and a place to fill water bottles in the lobby. Safe was very accommodating and helpful.
Nice hotel close to the Termini
We needed a hotel close to the Termini station for our stay and this was perfect for us. The room wasn't the biggest but provided us with what we needed. Breakfast provided a good selection
Hotel was clean but receptionist failed to inform us that breakfast was included. Also not very friendly. Waited for long time to get room.
It was close to all transportation and lots of restaurants near by. The hotel itself helped you to where you needed to go. Highly recommend
Staff were very accommodating. Free breakfast is a plus. Overall had a pleasant stay
What a great place to stay at. Loved everything about this hotel.
Stayed 4 nights, lovely! Would highly recommend!
The elevators were cramped and stairs were very steep entering and exiting the hotel
The hotel was comfortable & clean. All of the staff was friendly & helpful. The breakfast was good, there are lots of options. We enjoyed our stay.
Property location is close to Termini train station, a national museum and is walkable to all major sights.
Nice place to stay
It is not up for four stars rating the rooms are too small and breakfast area claustrophobic, need some improvement.
My 8 y.o. son and I checked in on Sept. 24th, Tuesday at 2pm straight from the airport (from Toronto). I had originally booked a Deluxe Room (Queen bed Twin bed). Having used Expedia quite a bit, I could have access to perks like 'Free Room Upgrade'. So I inquired about it. The gentleman checking us in informed me that they were at full capacity and that option isn't available. I thought, ok, fair enough, just thought I'd try. He gave us the room card, gave few instructions and off we went to catch the elevator heading to the level where our assigned room was. As I opened the door to the room, I realized that the guy downgraded us and gave us a 'Classic Room' which was essentially just a Queen bed, with no couch. Coming from a long flight, I was a bit irritated so I got my son to come back to the lobby with me to speak to this hotel concierge. His excuse for giving me that room was because I was staying in the room with a child and not an adult. I said I wanted a couch which is why I specifically booked the Deluxe Room. He quickly resolved the issue and got another gentleman assist us with our luggages to move into the other room. That experience left a bad taste in my mouth. If I paid for a specific room, I shouldn't be getting any less than that. I thought that was a very sneaky move from the hotel. Not nice. Other than that, the rest of the hotel staff we have encountered during our stay were pleasant and helpful.
