Excellent Hotel in Port Lincoln.
It was a beautiful and well placed hotel at Port Lincoln, minutes away from the main Street called Tasman Terrace along the beach. The information centre and main restaurant and hotel also nearby. The Lincoln hotel is a good and clean and plenty of car park spaces. There is a hotel at the ground floor. The room was clean and spacious.
Nice hotel
Great location and nice comfy room with a pretty view. Street parking behind hotels was safe as we were originally worried. Pleasant still will def stay again
It is a gorgeous property
Nice room with a good view over the water. Unfortunately, service in the restaurant was slow, despite being the only people there, and the food made me unwell the following day. We were also shocked to find out the water in the mini fridge cost $4.50 a bottle, and there was no price list in the room to warn us of this as we assumed that water would be free.
The room was very clean and tidy and housekeeping was great. The hotel was clearly the best stay in town. Meals were good and there were a number of dinning options around the town. Views were great from the hotel room.
Enjoyed the stay
Good size room with great view
On-site dining facilities, within walking distance of shops, restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Bit of a dispute over a packet of peanuts missing from the mini bar (which we had not eaten).
Great
Great place to stay, the staff were excellent.
Great spot in Port Lincoln, close to everything with great water views.
Obliging
Great place to stay
Lovely room, with bathtub overlooking the ocean. Very good value.
Amazing stay!
Quick getaway
This is the best Hotel in Lincoln, don’t bother staying anywhere else. Elouise in reception will look after you, always with a smile. Also room 322 has the best bed I’ve ever slept in 😂
Bed very comfortable . Didn’t like the squeaky bathroom door.
Favourite hotel in Lincoln
Great stay, fantastic view and the room was clean and comfortable.
We had a corner room and were able to see the ocean. They had a voucher system you could use for $10 credit if you didn’t need housekeeping. Great location to many restaurant's.
Nice clean hotel. Large room, quiet, walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops and bars. Good food in restaurant
Great views from our room.
Horrendous experience
The hotel failed to tell me upon check in that 20 metres from my room/windows, night time MAJOR resurfacing and road replacement works were being completed. The noise from 3 road ashphalt scrubbers/resurfacers, 4 rollers, 4 semi trailers doing constant ashphalt rotatiom and the generators running the light towers all night, was HORRENDOUS. I rang 4 times through to the front desk and kept getting told the works would be completed within an hour. At 2am I was told they were not finishing until 6am! Great for a 6.30am wakeup! The hotel had ample opportunity to warn me prior to paying, prior to checking in and even at check in, and failed to do so. I won't be returning.
We enjoy staying at the PLH, it is in a great location, convenient, & generally a good friendly atmosphere. The front desk & admin staff are very professional making it easy to deal with. However, the restaurant & bar service is terrible! It was a similar story for breakfast or nighttime at the bar. Very slow, taking 1/2 plus to get a drink, forgetting orders etc'. There seemed to be plenty of staff wondering around but there wasn't any organisation, or a lack of direction?? Def' not run off their feet or panic. I was disappointed & found this very frustrating to watch. We spoke to multiple people over the weekend who shared the same story.
Fabulous stay, very clean with lovely amenities. The only downfall was the very loud band that was there each night over the weekend - unfortunately our balcony room at the front of the hotel was directly above this. We may as well have been down there. It would have been nice to be notified of this prior to securing our booking, as our 5.45am wake up for our 9 yo’s gymnastics comp on Saturday morning was very difficult after not being able to go to sleep til after 11.30pm. Despite the lack of sleep we had a wonderful stay. Very impressed with the standard of the hotel - even just the little things, such as having a decent amount of milk provided and nice bathroom inclusions.
A gem
Fantastic 4Star hotel with great location, excellent staff and food and drink at a fair price
Quiet location, easy access to local shops and eateries. Good food choices within the restaurant as well
Great Place to stay
The staff was so accommodating.
Very nice close to everything enjoyable stay thankyou it was great would definitely recommend to anyone cheer’s
Great bed and great view
We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and tidy. Check in was quick and painless. Great view. TV channels were limited if wanting a quiet night in. The let down was the breakfast one morning. Very slow, and not because they were busy. Waited nearly half hour for my coffee and eventually had to go up and ask for it when I noticed a group that ordered after us, got there's first. And then waited another 15 minutes for our food. My toasted sandwich came out burnt on one side (the bottom side of course! Not going to show the burnt side face up on the plate) and my husband's bacon and eggs came out with no bacon! Which we had to wait again for. Over an hour spent there already so just ate and left. Ate breakfast elsewhere for the other 4 mornings. Which was a shame as a nice spot there for a meal, coffee or drink. Aside from that, I would recommend as stay itself was enjoyable.
The view from our room was Godly, I was firstly disappointed, that there was not the effusion of towels, tissues, soaps and lotions we have come to expect in 4-5 star hotels, I am hoping that they have recognised the environmental impact of these things, and taken the initiative to minimise the impact.
Great place to stay at.Reception service for us was a fail.
Perfect location. Staff were lovely & the bed was like a cloud to sleep on. 10/10 property 🌟
1st time to area and balcony view room was worth the money.
Great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants amazing view
Port Lincoln Hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We used the bar and restaurant facilities and both food and service were excellent. Only issue we encountered was we both had crinked necks from the pillows. Too high and hard for our liking. Great other than that.
I had a great time , the hotel was clean and comfortable, such great staff
Great comfy bed
The bed was super comfortable, the room was spacious and clean with coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge, there was adequate lighting in the bathroom, we also ate here and the sri lankan curry was awesome. The staff in the bar and restaurant were super friendly, especially Brianna. The lady who checked us in at the reception was new and didn't seem to understand my husband when he said he'd stayed 200 times before, other than that a very pleasant stay.
Great hotel in the ideal location. Loved the pool area and dining and bar options. Room service was under pressure due to short staff level however, Mason was excellent in sorting things out. Great customer service from him. Yu can't beat this property in Port Lincoln
Stayed in a balcony, ocean view room. Wonderful view and we had great weather
Clean, convenient location, great dining facilities and friendly staff
The location is great staff are fabulous bed is comfortable dining has options for everyone I would recommend to anyone to stay there but don’t take my word for it try it yourself you wont be disappointed
Good location with great views of the foreshore and easy walking distance to eateries. Well appointed room, clean and comfy, nice balcony, good pool. Efficient check-in and parking is available. Restaurant was busy for dinner service with one hour wait so had to go elsewhere.
I had an amazing stay. Everything was excessable and romm was perfect for my stay. Dining was good with great food served.
Best option in Port Lincoln. Great location and dining options
This was a stunning property with great views. Our room was cozy and beautiful. This was a small remote town so everything closes up at 5 pm. There are restaurants onsite which we are at multiple times bc everything about the hotel was closed. Staff were friendly and room was very nice and clean.
Great location and clean well appointed hotel and restaurant's.
Great view of the bay with drinks and food down stairs or walk along the Esplanade
The hotel is in a great spot, The reception staff needed a smile on arrival and didn't really explain anything to me about the restaurants on site or the facilities. The room was OK, I paid good money and didn't even get a sea view. The couches in the room were tired and worn out. The pool looked good but was too cold to use, unfortunately. Great spot for an overnighter on the way to Coffin Bay. I would deem this place 3.5 stars
Quality dining options within hotel, helpful staff, nice spacious room, great location.
My partner and I stayed for 5 nights. Everything was well in order, maybe the food could be a little more exciting and different besides the traditional pub classics and seafood dishes.
Great hotel. Had a balcony room with sea view. Plenty of room and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The room was absolutely outstanding with stunning views 👍 Terrific staff and service!
Big room’s
Perfect location. Walking distance to shopping and great bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel itself was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed the view. Reception staff were very cheery, obliging and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Great choice of restaurants. Close proximity to the main centre of town.
Attended cocktail function for PLHS on Sunday night. Very unhappy. Far too expensive for what was offered. Some of the food was quite unsuitable for eating with fingers, as there were not enough tables and chairs for all attendees. Was unwell during the night, which was probably due to your food.A donation of at least $5000 to the High School would be a minimum of addressing the overcharging.
They have the most comfortable bed I've slept in and a brilliant courtesy light in the bathroom that comes on for a short time when you go in there in the dark
Lovely Hotel....stay there!
Absolutely lovely stay, loved it.
Well located with friendly staff
Good location. Seaview rooms are bigger and have balconies
The views of the beach were great - the closeness of the City’s restaurants and shops gave walking access.
Great place
Lighting in rooms was appalling
Great place to stay. Bed was very comfortable
Pretty standard room presented well
Safe
Rooms were great . Service were terrible.
✅
Was great
Great location!
Nice big spa. Windows don’t block traffic noise. Breakfast took a long time. Excellent comfortable bed.
Food Average
Food in restaurant wasn't up to scratch
Well maintained
Location and cleaning staff. Had specials on line and advertised on property they would not honour. And our first nights sleep was interrupted by some one using a two strike leaf blower outside our bedroom window at 5.45 am in the morning. Followed by a road sweeper. No help from staff.
We picked this hotel because it had an easy, free transfer to the Calypso Star Charters Shark Cage Diving tour we'd booked. The staff is well experienced with that process and everything was smooth and easy. But even aside from that service, this hotel was a great choice. Comfy rooms, attentive service, and convenient & tasty in-house dining options. A lovely stay!
Hotel were so lovely! Allowed early check in to freshen whilst on work trip and then due to flight delays extended check out to enable comfortable working location. Thank you
Awesome stay at an Awesome town.
brillant
Just so very organised for tourists. Nothing was too much trouble, even supplying an HDMI cable on request. Food and drink options were endless and the coffee, my goodness, so well made and good, a sure sign of quality. Would recommend the Coffin Bay oyster and wine tour as well.
Great location assisted by great weather. Easy casual walking access to local attractions enjoying the view
Staff all friendly & helpful. Hotel was clean & looked outstanding.
Disappointed! No parking for Hitel guests. Busy long weekend we had to park our car 10 minutes walk away from the Hotel when you pay $248 for a room you expect to get a park at least on the Hotel property. Aaron’s restaurant overpriced and underwhelming. Staff at the bar were lazy and didn’t care about patronage orders forgotten with no apology. All in all a very disappointing experience.
This hotel was a nice surprise for my wife and me. A full fledged hotel in a small city in South Australia is not easy to find.
Staff exceptional. Food could have been better. Overall enjoyed our stay
Great hotel, good location. Food & staff were great. A little noisy on Saturday night but to be expected.
Good place to stay in Port Lincoln, with nice water views. Easy to walk everywhere. Good big rooms, very friendly, efficient staff. Bottle shop across the road. Lots of very good restaurants & pubs nearby. Would definitely stay there again.
Everything was lovely, friendly staff, just wish the pool was heated a little.
Premium accommodation with a view
Five star accommodation with a view
FIRST time staying there, very modern, well set out, friendly and efficient staff/
Well located and great views
Nice view. Friendly staff
Port Lincoln
Great hotel in the heart of Port Lincoln walked to the Boston Hotel for dinner was really good.
We paid for an ocean view room with king size bed but got two doubles. They were too small and my husband, who is over 6ft tall, and I ended up having to sleep in separate beds. Not the romantic weekend trip we were hoping for.
The staff were helpful and friendly the room was clean and the view from the balcony was fantastic
Best place to stay in Port Lincoln.
Unfortunately someone below us was smoking on their balcony so we couldn’t leave door open to our balcony. Not the hotels fault but some people just don’t follow rules
great views, great hotel
Nice hotel in convenient location near foreshore and shops.
