Nice place to stay

This was a lovely motel and the owner was kind and gave us a map of the things to do.

Very clean and neat motel. Enjoyed our stay of 2 nights.

Nice for a short stay. Good location to get into town. The noise on the main road was a bit loud and there is no privacy whatsoever since most all the rooms face the parking lot and the one window faces all the parked cars and people. That is the only downside. Bed was very comfortable and coffee was delish.

Our 2 night stay was reasonably priced & enjoyable. Located in a quiet area. Just a few minutes walk away from the main town.

Very nice and new feeling. Spacious unit. So clean. Owner David is manager and very friendly and helpful. We were so happy to be given an upgrade for our 1 night stay and ended up staying a 2nd night. I5 minits walk to town and all the eateries. I would definately recomend this place.

Olive is a Winner

Olive motel is well located a few minutes walk from Coromandel township. The units are fresh and immaculately clean and the whole complex is beautifully maintained. Would recommend.

Came to Coromandel by fullers ferry from Auckland,The Olive Motel is a 5 Star,very clean,units are amazing,walking distance to town.Able to leave bags at owners door until checkin.Would definitely Stay again,Many thanks ?

Great place to be

The place was clean and quiet yet incredibly close to the town centre’s main street. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return again if we are in Coromandel.

Really easy check in and accomodation was clean and tidy. Ideal location as it was a very short walk to shops and cafes.

It was close to town, newly decorated and very clean.

The room was cosy, the only thing we didn't like was that the curtains let in too much light, as there was security lights outside.

The Olive Motel is close to the town centre. The room was large, kitchen with anything needed including wonderful coffee and ability to cook. The room was modern and spotless. The bed was so, so comfortable. The staff was personable. I would highly recommend this motel.

This definitely surpassed all expectations. I guess from the pictures it only looks settling, but it was so clean, comfortable, and walking distance from the main street and ferry-shuttle drop off location. They have a shower chamber! Would stay here again.

This is a well loved and cared for 10 unit motel 5 min walk from the Main Street with lots of interesting shops and cafes and places to eat. We had room #9 called Avocado which is newly open in last week. Gorgeous room with all modern touches, comfy queen sized bed and small sofa. Fridge and Sky TV and kitchenette area. Big modern bathroom and shower. Lovely southwest facing terrace to sit at a table and have a cocktail. David the owner is the most pleasant man who aims to please if you have a request. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend as great value for the price

Great motel. We were upgraded to the two bedroom which appeared to be brand new. It had a huge jacuzzi tub. Nicest place we stayed in our two month vacation in New Zealand. Could walk to all restaurants.

clean and comfortable and modern room. It is very close to the city centre in terms of walking ( driving is less than 1 minute) Slight traffic hum from the main road but nothing to affect sleep.

Unit was excellent, very clean, great shower, air con, SKY. Unfortunately the fire station is very close by and the alarm went off during the night for some time that woke me up which wasn't ideal. Completely out of the Motel's control, but the location to the fire station has it's drawbacks.
