If you want to avoid the hustle of Hurgadha downtown and enjoy a serene atmosphere this is the place. The property is well maintained and has excellent food options. The executive chef Pappu Singh went above and beyond to celebrate our anniversary.

I have traveled to many countries in the world and this was by far one of the best experiences I have had in all my travels. The property is absolutely gorgeous and they have a private pier that leads directly into a coral reef, where you can go snorkeling or swimming. Our suite was very spacious and had a great view. It had a huge patio (almost the size of a backyard) where we could relax and have food. The aesthetic of the suite was very good and appeared to have been very meticulously and thoughtfully designed. I wish I had more time here and definitely would love to come back here. The executive chef Mr. Singh was very generous and courteous to me and my family. He really made sure that we had a good experience, got everything we needed and was very considerate of our needs as parents, traveling with an 11 month old. I would highly recommend this property for a fun and relaxing time on the shores of the Red Sea.

Windy Hurghada

A wonderful, relaxing, stay at the Oberoi. The service levels were superb, on a par with the Four seasons and MO. The room was large and well equipped. One of the best showers that I've had. The gym, was an OK size with a steam room in the changing rooms. The main swimming pool is large and heated. The on site Padi Dive centre was great and made it so easy to dive straight from the hotels jetty. The resort has its own private beach and as you walk down, the staff approach with towels and a cool box of water. The downside is that there is a coral reef just off shore, so you cant really swim, just paddle. You have to go in off the jetty to swim or snorkel. its not such a long walk, but the sea was quite rough, which put most people off. The WIFI didn't work on the beach, which is fine, however it didn't work by the main pool either, as well as the breakfast area or the courtyard restaurant. For a five star resort this is very poor. The dive center and gym had separate WIFI so i don't know if there was an issue at the resort. In the rooms it was fast and you could plug your our devices into the TV. However the main downside was that its so windy. Really windy the whole 4 days we were there. The sun beds are sheltered from the wind just on 2 sides, which makes you think its always windy. In summing up, fantastic staff and facilities, in a quiet relaxing, expensive resort.

Red Sea Serenity

The team here are focused on doing an excellent job. Led by Bhagat and Pappu Singh, they deliver a fantastic holiday experience. The surrounding areas fantastic, with a good Red Sea on shore breeze to make sure you don't feel too hot. The snorkeling and diving from the pier are top notch. Food is fantastic, with a Executive chef in Pappu Singh, that surpasses your expectations with extra treats and amuse bouche. The staff around the residence are attentive but not intrusive. Thankfully they were around rescue my wife whilst she was snorkelling! Thanks so much again. What an amazing stay.

Everything was perfect except there is no evening activities, no Shisha and the food choices are limited throughout alacarte only and no open poffiete

A great place to spend holidays, relax, dive, dine, ... It would be great if there was not just a steambath, but also a sauna and if there would be a room to relax after it.

The hotel is amazing! Rooms are spacious and gorgeous. The spa is incredible. The food is top-notch, especially the Middle Eastern and Indian cuisine, but their international cuisine is also really good. The staff is super attentive, going out of their way to serve, such as proactively packing a breakfast box for an early flight during check-out.I highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing property and great staff! All went above and beyond to make the stay super pleasant. Great facilities and the suites were very well maintained and spacious. All team members at Oberi were kind and respectable. Breakfast was excellent with quality. Crew at the restaurant were attentive. The property strolls were relaxing as it was very clean , well maintained and boasts a very green landscape! Thanks to all the staff from the front security guards to the in room service

Hands down the Oberoi properties are the best in the world. The service, they helped us in a very trying time in the world organize a PCR test on site, with no hassle to us. They have amazing food no matter what you eat. The room was a beach view, modern, large, perfect. The restaurants authentic. The snorkeling will blow your mind.

The staff is incredible. They truly understand service. Their location is scuba/snorkeling heaven and the dive service is amazing. Rental gear is top-notch and safety is prime focus. The kithcen is excellent. Meals were influenced with Indian and local flavors. Fun. The negatives are trivial and I beat it into them: They desperately need to update their background music. The 12 minute loop of "O Sole Mio" and the God father theme in the restaurant quickly turns into a water torture equivalent. The Wifi is poor. Rooms need USB power ports. The manager said they would get on these things, If they do, this place will be perfect, We loved our time there.

Wonderful secluded hotel. Rooms are all well furnished and clean. The hotel is very well designed. The staff in the hotel were very helpful, and polite. Definitely the best hotel to stay in.

The hotel has a unique architecture that we really liked. The staff was super friendly and always offer help. The sandy beach wasn’t the best although the other side offers a magnificent spot for snorkling.

Great friendly and professional people running this place, made us feel at home and looked after our expectations over and above. It’s a place to dive off a private reef without crowds, dine on outstanding Indian and International foods from two very engaging head chefs, and meditate or spa with a touch of Balinese. We put ourselves forward for experimental cocktails in the evening with a little touch of genius from the host and sounds of nostalgic jazz on the terrace. Of course in a two week stay there were some small issues, but overall a great attitude and efficient problem solving from staff. Everything there is to be enjoyed and not taken for granted. When there are so many people to thank at the end- yes it deserves all the accolades. 1st choice for a booking (suite with pool for the discerning).

The resort always been kept clean and tidy. Lobby staff are welcoming. Especially warda , keep up the good work! Cons: taking too long to arrange club car to assess other facility. Food choices are very limited. Waiters in the restaurant are unprofessional.

Top Resort in Sahl Hasheesh

Overall a great boutique resort with good service. Some of the room amenities are dated, but the GM immediately aknowleged the issue and promised it would be addressed.

Incredible hotel! Everything is beautiful from the rooms to the pool to the beach. The service is impeccable, they think of every little detail, even bringing you water and towels and hibiscus juice on the beach without even having to ask. We had the best experience staying here and I would love to visit again. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

The hotel team was wonderful! Even though it had a quiet atmosphere, there were lots of kids and we felt right at home as a family. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again and was sad when we had to leave.

We loved our stay - it is quiet, private with lots of amenities. We originally thought it might not be kid friendly but there were other families there and we felt right st home. We definitely would recommend it to couples and families.

The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh is a fantastic hotel, in an amazing location with impeccable service. Right from arrival we felt welcome with staff throughout the hotel looking after our every possible need. We got a free upgrade to a Superior Deluxe room right on the beach in the perfect location. Our room was clean, spacious and had all the facilities you could possible need. The room attendants did a great job cleaning our room, giving us all things we wanted and adding those special touches that make a holiday special. The food at all meals was tasty with enough variety to make it interesting. The snorkelling on the reef just off our beach was amazing with soo many fish and beautiful coral to look at. I couldn't recommend The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh highly enough and we'd love to come back for another visit in the not too distant future.

From the pool you have a magnificent view of the sea and some seagul birds nearby. Staff are highly professional and very helpful. Suites are spaceous and has a unique atmosphere.

Exceptional hotel, fantastic view and swimming pool, high quality service, room cleanliness, food is excellent, staff are extremely caring with high follow up. Sincere appreciation to Chef Ramadan, who was on daily basis following with each and every customer, the food quality and their feedback. We had the best ever pizza, Shawerma, and Steak in this hotel, all food was great, breakfast menu also is excellent. Going there for the 3rd year in raw, and they have not lost their edge even a little. Still there best resort in Egypt. Everything there is just perfect, it is a place for peace and tranquility, and the staff proptness really makes sure you are always at ease with each small request that u make treated with high regards. Also the snorkeling spot they have is heavenly, so don't miss it.

The Oberoi Group never disappoints!

5 night break in Egypt - The Oberio Group has never disappointed us! Fantastic 5 star service in all areas [restaurant/ house keeping/ reception/ spa etc]. As vegetarians, they have a separate vegetarian menu and amazing Indian chefs who can tailor the menu to you specific needs. The Egyptian Falafel Platter for breakfast was amazing as was all the indian food we had and the thin crust pizza. We enjoyed a couples massage on the last day - you must try the spa services! It was fantastic. Location was good, tranquil, although we didn't venture out of the resort. Will definitely be going back again!
