Close to our music venue

We just stayed at the Niu Hotel to walk to a music venue at the E-werke in 10-15 minutes, which was perfect. The hotel is spotless and compact, plus the personnel was friendly. The breakfast they offer is good, and I will book my next stay when I am in the Köln area.

Great hotel

Good breakfast!

On the first night at midnight planes were flying overhead every five mutes (on the hour & half an hour) and this went on for hours. I got no sleep until 5:00am. The manager was not too concerned about it and offered no apology. I was less than impressed with no where to put our luggage on, no Kleenex, no shampoo/conditioner, no slippers. Breakfast was okay, nothing great. We will not be coming back there. We have stayed in five hotels on this trip and this one was the worst hotel.

The twin beds is not ideal as the beds are quite small. However still a pleasant experience.

Nui Mill was in a great location and had convenient amenities and extras. We really enjoyed the bar/breakfast and appreciated the air conditioning on the hot days. Thank you for everything !

Perfect location

We had to pay $45.00 round trip to get to the town center. I suppose there were other cheaper ways, but the hotel made no effort to help or inform us. The front of the hotel was littered and poorly maintained. The staff did not sweep it or made any effort to make it appear inviting. The electrical system is tried to the card. I suppose that may be a new law in Germany as they are very conservative in saving resources but to the unsuspecting traveler who is tried and hungry its a royal pa I n. The staff made no effort to inform or educate us on how it worked.

Conveniently located

It was a tiny room for 3 people, but okay for one night. Parking was on the premises and they had a good breakfast buffet. Easy to get to from the Autobahn and easy to leave again. There is an U-Bahn station right at the corner, making it easy to get to the cathedral and center of Köln.

Chic and clean

Hotel caters to the young, hip crowd and we are neither but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cologne 2024

Nice hotel, staff were friendly and provided guidance to the questions asked. Super comfortable beds. The only down side that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but that is just a personal opinion. Great location for the palladium.

A nice modern hotel.

Great location to Weiner Platz, kiosk opposite open until the early hours. Staff helpful and friendly, service at hotel bar was a bit slow due to them manning both stations but selection was good. Room was clean, comfy and spacious - lighting was quite dim and no bath tub, but shower was excellent and beds very very comfy. Would stay again, great value.

This hotel was great. The staff and facilities were perfect and the easiest hotel to park at during our entire trip.

Rooms did not have a fridge or microwave.

Excellent service from the very beginning. Quick and easy check-in at the hotel and the rooms were - wow. Clean and everything needed for a short stay. Something I’ve never seen before - if you leave the hanger on the door saying you do not need your room cleaning you get a free drink in the bar (per person). What a great idea to help keep costs down and help save the environment a little. Easy access with the nearest tram station (no 18) only a 5 min walk with direct access to Köln city centre. It’s also the same tram to take you to Phantasialand. We chose this hotel for its location to the E-Werk where we had tickets to see a concert. This was only a 15min walk away so perfect location. Overall an excellent hotel which I would recommend to anyone visiting the area for a short break.

Praktische Lage

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem eher nicht so schönen Ambiente in einer Häuserzeile, ist dafür aber sehr praktisch gelegen in unmittelbarer Nähe zur U-Bahn und zu vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es ist alles neu eingerichtet und im guten Zustand. Unpraktisch war das Einzelzimmer - wenn es als Einzelzimmer gedacht war, ist die Frage, warum es zwei Matratzen mit Mittelritze gab - wenn ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelbelegung rausgegeben wurde, hätte ich Bett und Zimmer für eine Zweierbelegung als zu klein empfunden.

Das Hotel ist super und sehr sauber. Die Umgebung ist ruhig, jedoch dreckig. Anbindung an Bus, Bahn ist sehr gut. Super Frühstück!

Tadelloses Hotel zentral und gut zuerreichen

Schönes gepflegtes Hotel, war alles super. Als Unterkunft für eine Veranstaltung im Jugendpark super gelegen. Diverse Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, Empfehlenswert ist die Kölsche Kneipe Bei Bruno, gutes Essen und super nette Bedienung zu sehr niedrigen Preisen.

Gute Lage, schnell von der A3 erreichbar unweit des Wiener Platzes von wo aus man mit dem ÖPNV überall hinkommt. Im Gegensatz zu manch anderen Bewertungen fand ich die Umgebung weder besonders „gruselig“ noch überaus dreckig oder gefährlich. Wir haben uns als zwei Frauen alleine zu jeder Zeit sehr sicher gefühlt. In der Nähe gibt es die Einkaufspassage Wiener Platz, mit allem was man braucht und ein 24h Kiosk. Das Personal im Hotel ist durch die Bank super freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Hotel sehr sauber und die Zimmer ansprechend. Wenn man gegenüber im Conti Parkhaus parkt, sollte man beachten dass am Sonntag nicht rein gefahren werden kann und am besten lässt man das Ticket nicht im Auto, sonst kommt man außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten nicht zu seinem Auto und Gebäude rein 😅

Es gab keinen richtigen Kleiderschrank um Jacken und Hosen aufzuhängen. Die beiden Hälften des Doppelbettes waren nicht fest miteinander verbunden und verschoben sich sehr leicht.Sehr nervig! Das Frühstück war sehr gut, reichlich und für jeden war etwas dabei.Personal und Service waren topp und sehr freundlich.

Fräscht, rent och modernt hotell med sköna sängar och dusch. Ljudisolerade fönster med mörkläggningagrdiner. Jättebra hotell för pengarna, mindre trevlig omgivning men bra för övernattning.

Beim nächsten Köln Aufenthalt wahrscheinlich wieder meine erste Wahl.
