Tge place to be in Cairo
Hotel is good tge service is excellent I ate at the Al shurk tge food not good the new year Eve was bad also But everything else was excellent
Great location in the heart of Cairo - right next to the museum of Egyptian antiquities and easy access to major roads into and out of the city.
Fantastic hotel with amazing nile views. Incredibly clean and courteous service from the staff. Breakfast was great and had a wide selection of foods, including Egyptian foods. The chef brought freshly made ballady bread one morning! We tried bab el sharq and the food was lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location and close to the pyramids of Giza. We look forward to returning to Nile Ritz Carlton again.
Excellent rooms and facilities. Friendly staff.
Very clean and luxurious. Staff very friendly
Amazing customer service, decor, club lounge Very attentive staff special mention to Heba from the concierge team for all her assistance and kind gestures. X
Great property. View of Nile on one side and city on the other. Next to the Museum, just walk to this museum.
Right across the Egyptian Museum, this hotel is perfectly located. The various restaurants within the hotel are all excellent.
Best hotel in Cairo
Very good
Very nice
Outstanding stay!
The most comfortable bed in Egypt is here!!! We stayed in a range of hotels on our trip to Egypt, including another 5-star hotel, but this was by FAR the best bed anywhere. Plus great pillows and puffy cloud of a duvet. The bathroom was really wonderful too. And the breakfast is not to be missed! Everyone was incredibly nice and helpful.
Very nice hotel with wonderful helpful staff.
Excellent
Nice hotel
We just had one night here and it was nice.
This is a beautiful hotel in a great location in Cairo, right next to the Egyptian museum. Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good facilities. They need some work on their logistics; my bags took 45 mins to get to my room, one of the restaurants was closed for a wedding and the concierge wasn’t aware?! They had 3 weddings occurring when I was there and the hotel was loud, people were smoking in the hallways and there were cigarette butts on the floor the next morning. Two out of four of their restaurants were also closed. I understand it was a busy weekend, but come on Ritz Carlton I, and likely your other guests expect better… .
What a comfortable hotel, with great staff and service - they truly go out of their way to assist you with anything you need!
Central location
Very clean staff very nice
good hotel that needs renovation up to the Ritz standard
It very nice facilities and professional staff
Amazing area, fantastic Nike view with authentic historical atmosphere. The hotel is amazing very clean, comfortable, stuff very friendly and food was delicious. Overall it’s more than 7 stars hotel. Thank you Ritz
Lovely hotel and staff
Nice Hotel and nice staying
Very nice stay..We have been enjoyed so much.Everything was excellent. Some of the Staff asking too much for tips during the wedding…including I believe the Manager..
Was not disappointed
Lovely hotel and staff
The best location in Cairo city centre Very noisy at night until early hours of the morning Staff are extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful. Housekeeping is efficient and respectful Swimming pool is the best you can get in a central Cairo hotel Food is excellent in the lobby area Spoilt for choice when it comes to breakfast It is my favourite hotel in central Cairo I will definitely be staying there again.
Probably best hotel in Cairo
From checking in to the moment we left, everything was perfect. Out suite was huge with views of the River Nile and also the Egyptian museum. We dined in the Italian restaurant our 1st night and the food and atmosphere were amazing. I was in Egypt to celebrate my birthday and got a lovely surprise of a birthday cake delivered to my room. Every part of our stay was faultless
Everyone at this property went above and beyond everyday. Best ritz I have ever stayed at.
Nice
A lovely hotel with attentive staff
Beautiful hotel, usual superb Ritz quality. Very good location.
A perfect stay
الضيافة فن اتقنه هويتل الرتز من خلال استقبال الريسبشن الاخت مويرنا ايهاب و طاقم التنظيف اهم عنصر في الضيافة شكرا Hospitality is an art and staying in the Ritz was an artistic experience from the beautiful reception service given to us by Ms morina Ehab and the beautiful heart warming cleaning services done by the cleaning staff. Every day was perfection. I will repeat the experience 🙏
The staff was amazing.
This is our first trip to Cairo. When we entered the Ritz hotel for check in. It was three hours before the check in time, then we talked to the staff and they told us by three it will be ready ( our room) when we came back around 8:00 pm the staff told us it is not ready and let us waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes and because we were tired we couldn’t handle it, went and spoke to the staff and they said you can use another room until they finish our room. We were so frustrated, very tired and really need to take shower and leave after that to go to a restaurant but couldn’t even have time to take shower or change our clothes.
Overall excellent hotel. Location is near tahrir square and downtown. Right on the Nile. Must say that the photos are deceiving - rooms don’t have a balcony although it looks like to does. Main issue I had with this hotel was the breakfast buffet. Didn’t enjoy any of the food, well the crepe was good but that’s hard to mess up.
The room smells like sewers Second day they wake me three time so they change the room because vip Worst experience
Wait time to check in was 7-10 minutes. Rooms with city view no matter how high up will receive intolerable level of noise from hotel's own restaurant show from 9pm until 1am. Even with ear plugs, the noise was too loud. Upon complaining, was moved/upgraded to Nile side which was quieter. One night had a poolside wedding with some noise but not to level of restaurant. Aside from noise rooms are well appointed and bathrooms spacious. Staff are excellent and Wifi was best in all my stays in Egypt. Especially commend Club Floor Lounge.. a wonderful relaxing respite from the hustle of Cairo and made up for some of hotels other issues
Exceptional
Stay was excellent start to finish. Staff was wonderful, housekeeping did an exceptional job, and the guys doing turn down service were wonderful. Location was perfect for us, quick uber to Zamalek for dinner and pretty central for the sight seeing we wanted to do here. There was a wedding the first night of our stay that was pretty loud - checking in they did mention that and gave us an option to switch to the other side of the hotel. We'd had a long day and I didn't think much of it when he mentioned it so that was on us. Other than that, it was fantastic.
excellent hotel
This property did not disappoint. The service of the staff was impeccable and our room was clean with a beautiful view of the city.
Great stay, amazing breakfast. Definitely a great hotel with amazing location to walk around
hotel staff was amazing but restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed. Service at the restaurant was slow, took an hour for our food to come out.
Went for a massage and had the best massage. Wonderul service throughout the entire hotel.
Excellent
Enjoy the view but it will cost you your sleep
The noisiest hotel at which I ever stayed. All night long, loud noises from music at weddings at the hotel, parties at the boats on the nile, street cars, and honking. All the way till 6am!
Cozy, staff friendly
Outstanding service
Great
I booked this hotel for my parents. They were in awe and have never had an amazing experience like this. They said everyone from the staff was great. The food, room cleaning, entertainment, and general staff was 10/10. Thanks for making this an exceptional trip for my parents.
Excellent
Central in the city
Excellent staff. Spacious rooms
A stunningly beautiful property that will delight even the most demanding traveler. Exceptional service and opulent beauty are the standard here.
The best hotel in Cairo, location and service.. yes, you can not go wrong with the Ritz, but also there great and positive Egyptian touch to this one..,,. You will get the best service, highly recommended
We had an excellent stay at the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The food is excellent, some of the best we've had. I want to especially thank Achmed of the housekeeping staff. Thanks to his help, we never wanted for anything. Highly recommended.
Central location. The staff was wonderful, from club level to housekeeping to front desk. Note there is a casino attached that only uses USD. It can get busy around the valet area at night. The room was fantastic, and I felt safe here.
Lovely stay
Staff were very happy and greetings every where, they keep smile on your face Room was very clean and lovely place to stay over the weekend Price is worth it
It was great experience
Great staff, clean rooms, one major issues: Was on the 11th floor, still could not sleep from the Music noise coming from ground floor club!
Excellent location, great service, comfortable rooms, great breakfast buffet
Excellent hotel
The rooms are very spacious and the facility is immaculate. breakfast buffet is versatile and delicious. The only negative is the nightly concerts conducted on the back of the hotel with annoying noise level.
Staying here the last 2 days of my trip was exactly what I needed! I was disappointed at each hotel I stayed at during the rest of my trip. I stayed at Mena house on the first leg of my trip in Cairo, Al Moudira in Luxor and Old Cataract in Aswan, all of which are high end options and none of those hotels compared. The food at the Ritz Carleton was amazing and the service and room were wonderful. If I ever go back to Cairo I am not staying anywhere else.
The hotel Was Excellent in service but the environment at night is very noisy we can’t sleep from the sound of the music in the hotel Until 6 o’clock in the morning
Best hotel stay ever
The ritz Carleton service was unsurpassed and the best treatment I have ever experienced by a hotel. They deserve 10 stars
R fang
Amazing Amazing, its the hotel that makes it ,we were looked after as soon as we check-in from reception staff to club lounge staff ,especially Ramy from the club lounge.
Cairo stay
Very nice grand hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very good and had a large variety to choose from. Only complaint was noise from a wedding the first night we were there-our room faced over tge weddi g venue and the mysic was extremely loud and went on for hours. Quiet for the remaining nights. Egypt museum was right next door-could easily walk. Dined at the hotel restaurants as Cairo traffic is extremely busy and kind of chaotic. Would definitely stay here again.
It was good
Noisy Room Facing Nile River
The rooms facing the Nile River are too noisy from 9pm to 5am the music from the bars on the river are insane, you can’t sleep all night.
A classic hotel. Very well located, with great service.
Basically, Everything was fantastic.. Hospitality, cleaning, smell, Sanitation. It was supper nice.
I was sitting at a completely empty bar on the roof, picked up a phone call spoke to a colleague for approximately 2 minutes and was asked to be quiet. Who was I disturbing?
The staff is not acquainted with the rules of the pricing and reservation of the rooms.
Not Your Traditional Ritz
Our first room was leaking so badly from the ceiling. Our second room smelled like a smoker lived in it for a decade. Our third room wasn’t much better but at least we didn’t have buckets on the floor and could only smell the cigarettes slightly. The hotel is understaffed and you will wait a long time for any help. They also had an event every night which added to the already too busy hotel. I would never stay here again.
They are truly Ladies and Gentlemen serving their guests as if everyone is royalty! My wife and I felt like A king and Queen during our stay! The service was above and beyond! The facility is a gem! We would certainly stay again. It has us considering The Ritz Carlton for other International & Domestic travel as well!
AMAZING PROPERTY
Rooftop restaurant was very nice
Already written
Kind of disappointed for this being a Ritz-Carlton. I know it is Egypt but I expected a lot nicer hotel. They don't have a gift shop where you can pick up small items. When I tried to order room service almost everything wasn't available. The Creme Brulee that I got was one of the worst I have ever had. I am used to staying in 5 start hotels and this wasn't it. For the price it wasn't all bad but just very let down for a Ritz Carlton.
Great hotel in a great city with best swimming pool.
The staff followed me at the restaurant.. every time I would eat. The hotel even charged me twice while having my card on file.
Very friendly staff excellent customer service and food was great Very clean , great location beautiful view, we'll be back for sure and recommending it to friends and family.
Needed luxury in Cairo
Was nice to stay at the Ritz for a couple of days after traveling around Egypt in much less nice conditions. The hotel is excellent although noticing some torn edges. Granted during these times all travel industry is stressed. Food while expensive is a 8 I would say and prices are western for sure. Overall this is a safe, clean, grand place to stay.
Warner and friendly staff
One of the best hotels in Cairo
Extremly helpfull staff , very friendly and welcoming , I had a very late flight even though they offered a very late checkout, they also upgraded my stay at the hotel when I checked in
Great Experience
It was a wonderful time
note to be considered
It is a lovely hotel n people are friendly but parking fees are overpriced
Really nice hotel with amazing service
My wife had a medical issue upon arrival that required a doctor and hospital visit, and the staff were amazingly helpful throughout the process. Room service was prompt with great food. When we checked out, the staff lined up out front with signs wishing us well - truly amazing people who helped us through a difficult time. Thank you!
Great location, view of the Nile, very close to the Egyptian Museum. Food disappointing at times, at least for a chain with this reputation.
I would definitely return
The perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of Cairo. The staff is ever-present. The side over looking the Museum is definitely quieter but the view over the Nile is stunning.
the best view ever and most luxurious , very friendly stuff
Amazing hotel
Check-in experience was poor.
The hotel is OK. Just OK. It doesn't, in my opinion represent the "Ritz Carlton" standard that I'm used to. The "major" renovation they keep talking about comes up short in many areas. For instance the windows are not sound-proof, which makes the rooms extremely noisy. There were irritating sounds in the room which, we were told, came from the AC ducting system. Apparently, that wasn't "renovated". The furniture in the room and public places is dated and stodgy. Smoking is rampant. Everywhere! which was extremely annoying. Personally, I wouldn't stay here ever again, and frankly, I doubt that I will stay in another Ritz Carleton property having seen, first hand, how the reality does not match the brand.
Great view and service
Stay was comfortable with a great view of the Nile from the room. Food was good and service was excellent, very attentive and friendly. However the hotel does look a little old and run down and can do with some updating of decor.
This hotel is the best in Cairo. I have been there over 5 times and I would always go there again. However, I think the furniture needs to be upgraded including the carpets in the main lobby. Also the prices of the hotel in-room and lobby dining has climbed way significantly than before which is not reasonable.
Few restaurants nearby. Very safe. Service impeccable. Large rooms. Somewhat dated. Good breakfast buffet. Based on a large Asian clientele, breakfast could probably benefit from a noodle station. Nice sanctuary in a crazy, dirty and dusty city
Best staff service
Egyptian staff offer the best service in the region, and one of the best in the world. Everyone spoke English and was keen to help.
Worst hotel ever Car service are crocks they overcharged me on car Hotel not clean
