It is a very clean hotel with excellent people but it is not 24 hour reception as they close at 9:00 but because of computerized entry system you can come in anytime. The breakfast is pretty much the same every morning, which I understand is the way the Greek eat breakfast It’s not far from Katahaki metro about 7 minutes walk past the bakery

A mirror would’ve been nice in our hotel room, rather than needing to climb to the top or needing the bathroom.

Loved this hotel ! We had a room with an outdoor hot tub which was so relaxing ! The breakfast buffet was really good. Hotel staff was excellent . The only negative is no hotel parking but we were able to always find parking on the street near the hotel . Awesome place to stay 😊

The front desk ladies were very helpful and attentive in what we needed. The breakfast was also very delicious. Our trip to Greece was nothing but AMAZING!

Newel Psychiko is an impressive, modern-looking hotel. The rooms and lobby area were minimalist and very clean. The location is about a 15-20 minute drive from Central Athens (Plaka, monastiraki, etc) so we had to take more taxis than we expected. I would only note that the room was was not cleaned after we had left a sign on the door to please clean the room. Overall we had a pleasant stay

What sets the hotel apart is the staff - from the front desk to the morning breakfast team. The hotel room itself has a modern/contemporary style, spacious and very clean. It’s an easy 10 minute walk to the metro making it convenient to the airport and central Athens. It’s also quiet at night!

The Newel Psychiko was extremely nice quarters. Nick at the front desk was exceptional with assisting us finding execursions. However, don’t arrive too early as check in is a little bit later. We had to wait until after check-in time for our room because it was still being cleaned BUT it was well worth the wait. I’d stay again. More than enough room and the patio/balcony was AMAZING!!!!

Great property

Nice and cute hotel, You have the both of both worlds: A nice hotel, and an apartment with all the necessary stuff to cook if you don’t like to eat out every single day. The people is warming and very nice. 10 minutes is the walking distance to the sub station and from there you get to any Athens location quickly, including the port of Civitavecchia and the Airport. We loved this hotel.

This hotel was awesome. The staff was fantastic and the whole hotel had a new/trendy vibe. Our suite had a kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a balcony that stretched the entire street side of the hotel. We also had a washing machine in our suite, (no dryer, but we hung our clothes on the balcony). The free breakfast at the rooftop bar was incredible! The Newel was walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and bus stops to get you anywhere you want to go in the city. I was originally nervous about this place because I tried to find it on maps using "street view", but when we arrived it was clear the map just hadn't been updated. :) I would definitely go back!

Nice room, breakfast

The room itself was nice, but the woman checking us in was very unfriendly and not helpful. The breakfast was fine and the people serving were great and friendly. On our second day asked directions to ATM, never found it. Third morning asked directions to a coffee shop which was very inconvenient for the person at the desk. Response go left or right look and you will find many. Unfortunately we went right walked for a few blocks came back took a taxi and left. As we were leaving we saw 3 coffee shops on the left in close proximity to the hotel. There is not much around the hotel and you must take a 15-20 min taxi ride to get downtown. One desk and 2 chairs in lobby no where to wait except on outside sidewalk.

The hotel is modern with nice esthetics and a comfortable family suite. However, you cannot lay or lean back on the sofa as the back support falls off. There are no bedside tables and both my husband and I slammed our feet into the raised elevations adjacent to the beds - although the esthetics of the hotel are great, functionality is lacking. Also, transfers to and from the hotel were 120€ one way. Crazy considering we chose this hotel for its closer proximity to the airport. I was able to get transfers through another hotel I stayed at earlier on in the week for 60€ one way!

The room was very nice and clean. Bathroom had a great shower. Nice ammenities in the room also.

Absolutely gorgeous place! Very clean and comfortable. Has all the amenities and kitchen cook ware. Kid friendly. We booked their deluxe loft and couldn’t ask for a great jetted tub! Thank you we will be back!

I love everything about this hotel except the parking situation. No valet yet they said. Parking lot was down a very steep road and if you have any health issues, it was not possible to walk up back to hotel

Unfortunately this property shouldn’t be listed as a hotel. It is very much a motel with no valet or luggage service. The lift is extremely small, the restaurant was not open to dine at and overall a disappointing stay.

We stayed at the Newel Psychiko for a week. The room was very comfortable, the food was wonderful and the staff was extremely professional and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable!

An excellent place to stay in Athens. It is new and even partly under construction (summer 2022), however you would not hear any noice compering to hotels in a city center. Rooms are enough big for Greek hotels. Personal is very helpful and pleasant. Handsome greek brings you delicious breakfast every morning. At the beginning we choose this hotel as our first stop in Greece, but then prolong our staying here twice. Perfect combination of price and quality.

This property is in pristine condition. It is extremely well-maintained and the design from the new construction is smart. The rooms have a kitchen nook, built in shelves which light up for clothes, walk-in showers, beautiful porches, and comfy bedding. The manager provided us with a free upgrade to accommodate there being 3 in our party - everyone who works there was lovely. And our rooms included complimentary breakfast delivered to our room -- fresh fruit, eggs, breads, and jam. I would highly recommend this. We were a quick ride to the airport in the morning; it worked out well.

Beautiful architecture and unique design. Breakfast was delicious , included in the price however parking had an extra charge. We had a relaxing stay and we enjoyed the room a lot!

Great overall stay

We recommend staying at Newel Psychiko. The design is beautiful and the breakfast was great. Unfortunately, there was a little construction throughout the day and we could hear cars and people on the street, despite the hotel being on a side street. Overall, we would come back here.

Very relaxing experience. The building is at a very quiet neighborhood and the mattress was surprisingly comfortable. We had the best sleep after 2 really long flights. The dessert with berries is highly recommended.

Nice and new

Very nice and modern. Brand new hotel (as of June 2022), so they are still finishing some details (like the roof deck). But very friendly and helpful and pleasant.

Exceptional service in a wonderful ambience. The room was cozy yet spacious and we had a relaxing day. Internet is really fast and we parked our car at a private parking with an extra charge. I would definitely choose this place again, the location was ideal.

The room was spotless and very comfortable size wise. The reception was operating 24h and the employees were really kind. Breakfast was also really good and included in the room price.

It was the ideal place for our stopover in Athens. The staff was very polite and helpful and the room was spotless. It is definitely an asset that the apartments provide parking since it is very difficult to find parking in the area. The only issue was that the rooftop-bar has not opened yet and we had our drinks in our room. There was also no hair conditioner but when I asked they brought me.

Stylish hotel in a central yet quiet area.

I spent 3 days at Newel Psychiko and I was very pleased with my stay. The hotel is new and stylish with elegant details. The architecture style is minimalistic and the breakfast area is very cozy with beautiful views👌 My room was relaxing and clean with a spacious bathroom and shower and a private balcony. The only things I didn’t like in the room was the mattress and the pillows which do not match the elegance of its spaces - the mattress was very soft with low quality materials unable to support the body enough to get rested while all 4 pillows provided were also very uncomfortable for the back of the neck. I would also like to mention that the mirror is far away from the wardrobe to the other side of the room which was not very convenient when you get dressed and need to cross the whole room to reach the mirror. There was complementary espresso and instant coffee as well as tea, milk , sugar and honey but NO complementary water at all - only option was the mini bar water. There is a fully equipped kitchen where I could prepare my own meals. Breakfast was freshly made with relatively good ingredients and rather limited options. An espresso machine covers all your needs for coffee. The staff was excellent, very well trained and professional and at the same time friendly and ready to support any of my needs. The cleaning ladies were also amazing, very polite and supporting.

Missed potential, mostly bad hospitality

The neighborhood is calm, breakfast is good and the staff at the caffe are kind yet I cannot say the same thing for rest. Even if we had right for free upgrade and there were available rooms, they did not upgrade. The room is claimed to be 40m2 but I do not think it is more than 25 m2. The furtinures and chairs were full of stains. Also it is misleading that they advertise a basement floor room as loft room. One of us got sivk asked an extra half hour or one hour late checin, they even did not try to assist. We really tried to like as it has great potential but there are things feeling off spirit in addition to things I mentioned.

Nice hotel if you are looking for a quiet stay

Nice Hotel, but not central and few amenities.

The breakfast was quite good, but really little choice.You would expect more from a 5 star hotel. The room and the rest of the hotel on the other hand was really impeccable.

Beim Frühstück sind alle sehr Aufmerksam, leider fehlt das abendliche Ambiente. Sich in die Lobby setzen, z.B Barbetrieb oder noch eine Kleinigkeit Essen. Man würde dann auch mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch kommen. Zur Metro sind es ca 5 Min. Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit steht jedoch ganz oben. Wir waren zufrieden

Sehr ordentliche Unterkunft. Das Frühstück war klasse. Qualität statt Quantität. Der beste O-Saft den es gibt. Frisch und lecker. Einziges Manko das kleine Bett. Nur Queen-Size mit einer Decke und einer zu weichen Matratze. Ansonsten aber sehr zu empfehlen.
