The location was great. A bit noisy at night as it was above a bar and on the sea front. The room was a good size. Would of liked tea and cofee making facilities and the option to have breakfast in the pub downstairs. There was no lift so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Not for people who want to sleep before 1am.
Don’t stay here if you want to sleep!!! Although the room was clean it was basic and spacious. The curtains were pointless the rooms are on the main very well lit road so don’t expect it to be dark. Also the exit light above the door will give your room a lovely green Christmas illumination or a bright alien abduction light, depends on your imagination and how positive your outlook is. Now this is a graded building which we found out and has incredibly thin walls and single pane windows, also if in doubt the rooms are directly above the pub, a busy, popular pub, as well as directly opposite the towns bus and train station and hovver ferry port… great for transport not for noise. Expect to hear every car, bus, person, boat go past and start up. You can also hear everything that happens in and outside the pub, mainly fights and alcohol induced conversations. For example carol had fallen out with Lauren over her fella, no idea who they are but loud. The pub had a karaoke night on Saturday discovered by a flyer on the door upon check in, great for the pub not for people above, was subjected to patrons wailing previously liked songs into a microphone until 12.30am then some disco music until close at 1am. People violently fighting outside the only entrance and exit to the rooms all watched by the establishments bouncer. Did contact the company after stay as you can only speak to someone during pub opening hours. Was given some excuses then ignored. Only stay if you are a partgoer.
