Super cute hotel close to everything. Lots of dining options, friendly staff, and the hotel breakfast and restaurant was really nice.
Excellent location. Beautiful hotel
Excellent location, friendly anf helpful staff. Room upgrade on arrival to extremely comfortable, carpeted reception and bedroom with veranda. Breakfast which was included offered buffet hot and cold options with plenty of drinks. Will definitely come back
Transylvania room
Hotel was central to shops and restaurants loved my room I'm ready to book with the mansion again highly recommend this hotel
Lovely place! The service was awesome. They helped with airport transfers and a day tour. The room was big! Great breakfast too
Good stay, but a bit noisy
Good hotel and helpful staff. Room was comfy but bath hadn’t been cleaned properly. Really good location, but was a bit noisy in the evenings with the nearby bars.
Great overall, however, if you need absolute silence to sleep, ask for a room away from the street or else you will hear everything going on outside until 4am.
Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Arranged car service to and from hotel/airport at a very good rate. Room upgrade at a great price. Only thing to be aware of is that old town is loud - so if you are a light sleeper you may want to stay in another part of Bucharest. I had no problem sleeping. No elevators but staff took luggage up to room. I would definitely stay here again. Again - wonderful staff.
Great place, only thing I would say is the noise of kitchen staff preparing food in the morning was quite loud and started at 6am…
Lovely staff & we loved the decor of the rooms.
Excellent time, lovely hotel
Fantastic service, great location, spacious room
Fantastic service, great location, spacious room
Nice boutique hotel right the midst of the busy old town. Room was clean and nice, but hot and air conditioning did not work. It was also very noisy given the position of the hotel in the old town. I also was hassled outside by a homeless person, when arriving to check in. He became abusive and it almost resulted in a physical assault. Other than that, staff are pleasant and friendly. Also breakfast was nice, good selection.
Great small hotel with big rooms in the old town.
The hotel was located inside the old town, so we had to park our car 8 minutes away from the hotel. So the hotel offered to help us with our luggage if we wanted. It was not a bad walk since the travel light. The room was clean and small but had the amenities. We enjoyed staying at the property. The staff was nice; they allowed us early checking, which was a great help.
With no elevator and very high ceilings, humping suitcases up 2 floors and more than tough. Hotel is 2 streets off car access. Easy to leave but hard to find.
The rooms were very nice and unique. The staff was excellent. Location was ok, but the area was very noisy with nearby clubs very late into the night, and not just on weekends.
Great location and very friendly staff. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I highly recommend it.
Great and quirky little hotel in a good location for exploring the old town.
Would definitely stay again
Very comfortable and spacious room. Excellent staff who went beyond to provide the best service. Great area with lots of restaurants nearby.
Fun and convenient
This hotel is an ideal location if you're interested in the Old Town neighborhood and/or you like to party. There are plenty of good places to visit and eat within walking distance, and it's generally quiet despite the party atmosphere nearby.
Fantastic hotel in central Old Town .
very good, but had an standing issue with room heating/cooling overreacting.
Beautifully thought out Hotel, with very helpful staff who couldn’t do enough for you. The individual rooms, (we stayed in Nautic) were spotlessly clean, large and modern. Breakfast was a broad selection of buffet style foods, catering for every nationality. There was also a specialty eggs menu included, I highly recommend the Eggs Benedict. We also had a lunch in the attached restaurant, which was not included in the price, however it was so reasonable and the food was delicious that we did not mind paying at all. The Mansion Boutique is ideally suited in the old town so that many of the old buildings are within short walking distances, definitely wear trainers or comfortable shoes as the old cobbles can be damaged in places. I would absolutely stay in the Mansion Boutique again.
Great place to stay.
Easy to find when dropped off at the main street, approx. 200m walk. Lots of choices for eating & drinking in the area. Hotel fabric & room was to a high standard. I had the Nautica room towards the rear of the hotel and it was a spacious, relaxing and quiet space. Breakfast was good with lots of choice and the staff were super friendly.
Small friendly property , greeted with a glass of Prosecco on arrival. Room ( Nautic) ( all rooms are different themes ) was large and of a nautical theme, warm and relaxing. Breakfast was available but didn’t get a chance to try it- they also serve meals on an evening- although there are several bars/ restaurants close by. Would stay again
Great location, lovely room & friendly staff.
Excellent location in old town. The onsite breakfast is very good and there are so many restaurants in walking distance! The hotel is charming and the staff was very helpful. Because old town is pedestrian only, the parking is about three blocks away, so try to unload your bags before you head to park if you bring large bags.
Excellent hotel in the Old Downtown
Fantastic hotel. we stayed for week while in Bucharest Old Town. Great Hotel with excellent location, food, and friendliness. We loved the area we were in. the room was large and comfortable for the two of us and bed was great for sleeping. Breakfast buffet was ample and it came with the option of eggs to order. The restaurant was excellent for dinner but there are also plenty of restaurants immediately around the hotel. highly recommend the hotel.
Entire staff was excellent
This is a great place to stay in old town. The staff was superb and so knowledgeable about everything. We arranged two tours and our airport transportation thru them and it was amazing. The communication was fantastic— they answered at all hours. The street noise was a little irritating but they have no control over that. The breakfast was great and more than I could eat in one sitting. Overall I really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Staff was just so friendly.
Lovely hotel in old town
Lovely hotel in the centre of Bucharest Old Town. Very clean and beautifully maintained. Very spacious rooms with a large comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Only thing to be aware of is that this is in the centre of a busy area particularly at night. Music from nearby clubs etc could be heard and whilst this did not bother us, it’s worthy of consideration when booking. Staff are aware and do provide ear plugs if required.
We were only passing though Bucharest for one night. This hotel would be perfect for vacation however it was not perfect for our one night stay, which could have possibly been our fault for not reading much on this hotel. First it is not accessible to drive up to. Had to be dropped off 5 minutes down the road with luggage and walk through cobble stone streets to find the entrance of the hotel. Also it has no elevator so my poor husband had to carry two 50 suit cases up two flights of stairs. Then since it is a vacation point with lists of bars and restaurants, loud music was playing all night long. Be sure to bring your ear plugs if you’re wanting a quiet nights sleep. Lastly, we had to come from the airport and to the airport then next morning. I believe Expedia said it was a 19 minute drive but when we arrived and left it took over 45 minutes with traffic to get to the airport. We had to leave so early we missed the breakfast that was included in our stay. Would consider returning for a longer stay next year, but not great for just passing though.
This was my first time in Bucharest. I chose the hotel because it looked cool and because of its location. Smack in the center of the city. The staff is young, energetic, and very helpful. The WiFi is flawless and they have a decent breakfast buffet. The place is clean. There are so many dining/bar options in the area. Two caveats though. There is no elevator and it is in a noisy neighborhood. But that can also be a plus. Anyway, I loved this place, the staff and the neighborhood. My top rating stands.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a pleasant stay in Bucharest. The staff is amazing and kind. Always there to help. Very prompt in answering emails and questions. The location is great and very convenient if you don’t have a car.
Great location
This hotel is located on the edge of the old town with plenty of bars, eateries and a few shops within easy walking distance. The rooms were very clan with each having a distinctive style, the bed was comfortable, plenty of hot water and a very friendly and helpful staff. Very good hot and cold breakfast selection. Area is pedestrianised so a 10 minute walk is necessary to bus stops and the metro system.
Mansion Boutique is the place to stay. Great breakfast..all the shops and restaurants are a short stroll away. The staff took care of all my personal concerns and the room was superb. Easy 5 stars!!
Wonderful hotel in old city and beautiful rooms very comfortable
Not a 4 star hotel.
This hotel pretends to be 4 stars hotel. According to my experience in other 4 and 3 stars hotels in Romania I am certain the Mansion Holtel doesn't deserve more than 2 1/2 stars. My reason is mainly due to the poor breakfast. poor selection, poor test, and poor service, it took too long to fill for missing items when they run out. I even had better breakfast at 2 star hotels. I can not recommend this hotel tto anybody.
Nice property, excellent staff, convenient location.
Perfect location and staff very friendly and helpful, will definitely stay there again.
Great location, very convenient with multiple restaurants options
Great service. Hotel was clean.
Very friendly
This place was great. The staff went abovecand beyond. I will stay there again!
Bucharest, Romania
I recently stayed 2 nights at the Mansion Boutique Hotel. This is a small property in the heart of old town in a pedestrian only zone. Arriving by taxi you have to walk just a few steps to the hotel. All rooms are differently decorated, mine was the Industrial room. The room and the bathroom were spacious. Nice amenities and hairdryer. The TV offered CNN and Fox in English. Windows face the inside. There is no lift, but front desk personnel will carry the luggage to the room. On arriving you are greeted with a glass of sparkling wine, nice touch. Breakfast is available at extra cost and there is also a nice Italian Restaurant. All around are numerous cafes, restaurants, small shops, ATMs etc. Old Town is a lovely area to walk around and enjoy a meal or a drink in one of the many restaurants. Close to the hotel is the Museum of Romanian History which is awesome. Their exhibits on the Dacian and Thracian culture is stunning. There is a piece by piece replica of Trajan's column. Staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, they even lugged my luggage to the taxi at 3:30am.
Nice
Nice hotel with very unique room decoration. I like it. You really feel the experience if a boutique. Staff are friendly.
An amazing hotel with superb staff. Very comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfasts. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your stay is truly enjoyable.
The rooms and service at this hotel are top notch. Breakfast was excellent. It's in a very nice walkable location central to everything. I used the scooters to get around when going out a bit further. The only thing to keep in mind is that the music is extremely loud in this area. It seems to start up around 10pm and was loud on the Monday and Tuesday nights I was there, so I can only imagine what a weekend would be like. It didn't bother me at all, but it's something to keep in mind if you want to stay in this part of town.
Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Great location for getting around Old Town. Hotel Restaurant good with reasonable prices. Many other eating options in the area.
Great value for money, we will come again
All great
The staff was excellent, the location was excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable. My biggest concern is that the internet was bot effective for me. The street noise was also loud - my room was on the street.
Great staff, great location, restaurant was very good. My only concern with the property was the internet performance. I was disconnected during emails and checking in for my flight and other interactions. Overall, a great experience but reliable internet service is important to me.
This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff is very professional and courteous. There is nothing the staff would not do, they helped to get my train tickets. I can’t remember everyone names but everyone was great. The restaurant is probably one of the best in Bucharest, breakfast was wonderful but the dinners were 5 stars. The only thing missing in the fifth star in the ratings.
Lovely lovely friendly people who couldn't do enough to help us. From offering dining suggestions to walking to the taxi ranks to ensure we got the correct tariff! They are very proud of their country and want you to truly enjoy it
Very clean Staff friendly and nice
Lovely property! Great employees. Breakfast delicious!
It is in Old Town, cafes and restaurants are near. Hotel staff are friendly.
We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The location is great for exploring the old town of Bucharest and is very close to the Metro for any trips further afield. The rooms were cool, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The hotel is stylish and unique in a beautiful old building. We also tried the Italian restaurant attached and that was really tasty too! However, it was the staff that really impressed us. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, and we really appreciated everything they did.
This property was located in the middle of the old town. Right outside your door we’re restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was outstanding and beside the buffet you could order special orders including eggs Benedict. But what made this hotel so special was the customer service. Immediately following booking they contacted me about any requests I had for scheduling tours or transport. They arranged everything I needed before I even checked in. When we ran into trouble with delayed baggage they made multiple calls for us trying to track it down. Stay here, you won’t regret it
Great location in the old town, excellent staff. In fact better than excellent. We had an issue where we had booked a trip months before and we found out the day before the tour that the parliament was closed for weeks. We therefore decided to cancel and had a change of plan, we wanted to go on a private tour to the Bear sanctuary and then on to Targovista to see the Military Museum & Princely Court. We tried to book on line but to no avail. We approached reception and they sorted it out within 30 minutes , via multiple calls. I cannot fault them at all.
This property is beautifully decorated and appointed. However, upon arrival after 20 hours of travel from the USA, my daughter and her husband were told they couldn't stay as they had a newborn baby. We were told the online policy didn't allow children under 14 at the property. I was shocked. We begged for an exception as we were exhausted. They refused and also refused to refund the room. I loved the property so much and was thinking it would be lovely for a small client conference but I would never stay here again. They gave us a small discount on lunch the next day for our trouble. I stayed at this hotel and my family had to find another room. We were in tears from frustration and exhaustion. I looked and looked online to find the "age 14 and over" children rule, and had to click a small link and scroll to the bottom of the page. It was the LAST condition listed. It should have been made very clear everywhere regarding this property. The only properties I've seen this at are typically adult vacation resorts. This place is in old town Bucharest - a main tourist spot. The other hotels we spoke with were dismayed to hear about our experience and the hotel my family was able to book (most were sold out) gave them a good room and a crib. The Mansion Boutique Hotel staff repeatedly said the rooms were not "child proofed" and were "expensive to decorate." Unfortunately for them, they are receiving this miserable review and I will never frequent them again. Bad business.
My stay was very good, the hotel is in the old town very good for restaurants and bars. The only thing I was not happy about is the fact that the towels they are very old and small FO bath towels. They only give you 1 bath towel and one hand towel. When I asked for more towels they did provide, but the next day they only gave one again.
Fabulous stay . Great staff , special thanks to the front office lady for a prompt assitance and a great welcome . We highly recommended for a great stay in Bucharest
Loved the stay, its in the center and you can find everything around & the staff were very very helpful and friendly !! Thank you ☺️
I love gothic room. Elegant and misterieus. Nice and clean
Brilliant hotel! Organised our transfer from the airport and were lovely about it despite our plane arriving late. We arrived to a complimentary glass of local prosecco and a room upgrade. The breakfast was delish serving a full range. They even lent us a travel adapter as we brought the wrong kind. Would definitely recommend
Great place to stay!
Great hotel, great staff. Location was perfect. Really enjoyed my stay. Only thing was no elevator... but, they were very helpful in getting my baggage to my room!
This is a beautiful hotel in the pedestrian-only part of old town. Your taxi or Uber drops you off about 50 meters away from the front door, which is surrounded on both sides by delicious Italian restaurants. The hotel is surrounded by walking streets full of restaurants, bars and clubs. It's in the part of town with the best nightlife, which can be a positive or a negative depending on what you're looking for. The area can be a bit loud, especially on the weekends. But in exchange, you're within easy walking distance of most of the best restaurants and the most interesting places in Bucharest. The hotel itself is great. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, you can have laundry washed and returned to you in the same day. I'd recommend this place to anyone as long as your comfortable with the sounds and energy that comes with the part of town that it's in.
Excellent boutique hotel right in the middle of old town. Friendly staff and clean room.
Super nice restored heritage property. Totally modern and updated to the highest degree. Great staff and location. Perfect!!!
Very friendly staff, super clean updated room. Highhly recommended!!
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns that may arise when staying there. The only drawback to this wonderful place is the night life in the "historic" old town can be easily heard in your rooms at hours you may want to sleep.
Beautiful hotel and a comfortable stay. Clean. Excellent staff. Will stay here again. Can get noisy at night but it didn’t get through my earplugs.
It was one of our best experience as first time visiting Romania Bucharest. The staff at the Mansion were excellent and helpful. The Manager “Christian “ was superb with his staff. Thank highly recommend it
Friendly staff and well located with a nice restaurante very good food i will return great weekend a really enjoy my stay in this hotel
Really helpful staff that go beyond the call of duty. Room was clean everything was great.
Out of all my travels this hotel is by far one of my favorites. Everyone was very welcoming and so clean, the place was beautiful. The names on the rooms was a nice touch. The birthday gift was amazing. Thank you everyone at The Mansion.
Unique, small and friendly staff
Highly recommend
A beautiful hotel, huge rooms, very light and airy, excellent restaurant attached and genuinely the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I have ever encountered. Great location in the old town but not far from main roads if you need transport. Great place to stay.
Hotel with a home experience
It is a nice and clean hotel as hotel is expected to be however the personnel was way beyond with the good and home feeling they gave us. It is in an excellent location.
Great location
Top notch hotel. Beautiful interior and exterior. Comfortable beds. An actual bathtub without paying for the top tier room. Friendly staff on all shifts. Super helpful suggestions. Prime location without the noise. I wish my stays at other hotels were this good. Only negative is if you can't use stairs. That said the stairs are a beautiful spiral as well haha.
Right in heart of old Town which is biggest plus. Rooms are well decorated and good minibar pricing. However there is no elevator and if you travel solo, for some reason this is only hotel I've been to that makes it a point to give you only one set of towels and if you want two, you have to ask every single time.
Great location and breakfast!
Great staff, breakfast, and location! Comfy and spacious rooms with unique themes.
Had a fabulous stay at Mansion Boutique. You get so much for your money - big spacious rooms, updated bathrooms (with a ceramic clawfoot tub!), and a great central location. I'm usually a very firm believer of "you get what you pay for," but in this case, you get soooo much more. Highly recommend checking out Mansion Boutique; I'll definitely stay again on my next trip to Bucharest!
Old Town hotel
Hotel was excellent. Great location within the old town. Room was very clean and quite luxurious. Staff were fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
Great city break.
A fantastic stay here. Great location and the staff were so attentive, went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Highly recommended for exploring Bucharest
Such a nice little hotel, very friendly and accommodating staff. Had no issues with getting a late check out and we even got complimentary prosecco when we checked in - nice touch! The hotel is right around the corner from the bar and restaurant streets, the room is very well sound insulated but if you're very sensitive it's good to be aware that you can notice the bars. Would stay here again.
Comfy, clean, and fun Old Town hotel
Great location in Old Town! Our room (the French room) faced the front which was convenient and quiet at night. Working the front desk most days was Cristian, who was a great help throughout our stay. He helped with bags, directions, spoke good English, and even helped return a pair of earrings my girlfriend left behind. The room was clean and beautiful. Breakfast was good, but better options were nearby if you're not in a rush. Have the desk get you taxi's to get around. Uber drivers in Bucharest are awful. Taxis seem to be a ripoff but the hotel will help getting a fair and safe ride. The FREE Old Town tour starts just up the street. One of the top 3 tours I've ever done in Europe - and free! Seems working folks here aren't used to getting tips. 50 Lei ($12😅)goes a long way to getting treated like a king!
RECOMMEND: Great boutique hotel. Pleasant restaurant, personalized service, and unbeatable location. Staff was super pleasant and enthusiastic. As a background, I live in NYC and have lived and worked in Asia, Latin America and North America. I have traveled to over 50 countries throughout the world for business and pleasure from 1-5 star accommodations.
Beautiful bespoke hotel converted from a mansion in the old town. Beautifully appointed and well located in the pedestrian zone (so you need to walk out of this zone to get a taxi). Very helpful and friendly staff
This hotel was everything it was advertised as staff friendly and amazingly helpful right in a perfect location old town. Room clean and cozy. Don’t spread this around want to come back to the quaintness.
Good value, amazing location
The only bad thing about this hotel is it has NO ELEVATOR, only two floors but still... Then it was nice. Big bedroom, fast wifi if you have to work and amazingly well located in the heart of old town. Would come back.
Excellent hotel. We loved everything! This is the second time we are staying there and we will definitely be coming for a third time as well
The stay at this outstanding hotel is always a very nice experience. The staff is knowledgeable, pasionate about customer service and all concerns are satisfied properly and efficiently. For instance I requested a quiet room since I arrived in Bucharest after a 30 hours trip and indeed my room was quiet and also very fashionable. Each room is distinct and authentic. Kudos to the staff for an amazing work and many thanks.
Pleasent stay in Bucharest
Perfect location to visit Bucharest. The hotel is inside an old Mansion, very elegant. The rooms do not have the number but names based on the design of the room. Great breakfast with a real very good cappuccino. I highly recommend the Mansion
I like the room design, the location and the staff
