Our room, again, was upgraded, but tbis time to a corner room. The room was soooo nice. Everyone is so kind and gors out of their way to the our stay perfect

We stayed for two night on a cold winter week. The hotel is great! It is so clean, quiet and feels like luxury in every aspect. The stuff and all hotel workers are kind and very helpful It was a great experience.

The place was well maintained and the staff are really nice and provided great service. Highly reccomend!

Definitely our hotel of choice!!

The staff couldn't have been any friendlier! I mean, not a grump amongst them!! =) And our room was perfect! So comfortable! I loved that when we came in from our daily excursions, our beds would be turned down, and there was ice in the ice bucket. The valet parking was amazing because we didn't have to drive around looking for a place to park, and all you have to do is call them 10 minutes before you need your car and they have it right outside the doors, waiting for you. It's awesome! This will definitely be our hotel of choice the next time we visit. =)

The hotel has very friendly staff, the rooms are very nice and the bed was so comfortable. High end extras but unfortunately our coffee machine only made one coffee then would not work anymore. I would recommend this property to friends.

Great stay nice staff.

For check in, it was problmatic. They did not address any of the requests we called for when we booked. Then did not give us any expedia VIP upgrade. They then gave us a 100 coupon for food at their bar and restaurant which seemed lovely at 4:30 when they gave it to us as we were there 2 nights. That said, at 7pm they sent a note that bar and restaurant closed the next day from 2 on, so basically to use coupon we either had to change our plans for that night or go for breakfast. In light of check in issues, they switched us to a room that was smaller and it had black mold in all 4 corners of the shower. When i showed the manager the pictures of the mold, she said to fix would require re caulking so wouldnt be taken care of. Never offered to change our rooms. Did give us an email commitment to come back for a night at a lesser level room than the one i had paid for. Not sure what their stars are based on. That said, did have nice robes and slippers.

Lovely hotel with a convenient location. We had New Years dinner there in the restaurant and it was delicious.

Great location. There was a little incident when we first entered the room, but the team immediately resolved the issue and apologized. Valet parking included EV charging. Will come back again.

Beautiful, exceptional service & location

Great location right in the heart of downtown. Staff was incredible, super friendly & exceeded expectations. Rooms were comfortable, extremely clean and nightly turn down service was a bonus. Spa is a definite perk and services were top notch. Loved every part of our stay-we will be back!

Gorgeous hotel and professional service!

Amazing, beautiful, centrally located hotel! We stayed in a premier king room with corner fireplace, which was comfortable and well appointed. The room included a Duson hairdryer, L'Occitane toiletries, a Nespresso machine and wine glasses, corkscrew and ice bucket. The area around the hotel is walkable, close to the waterfront and museums, shops and a variety of eateries. When we did drive further, the valet parking was very convenient. We will definitely stay again!

The Magnolia is very consistently excellent. Clean, well.maintained, excellent lounge and restaurant, great spa, the serviceis fantastic and the staff is always excellent. I would highly recommend it.

This is my go to hotel when I visit Victoria BC. The location is perfect to walk all downtown and explore all the amazing businesses. I highly recommend this hotel!

Very comfortable and cozy room with fireplace. Staff courteous, friendly and efficient. Room well equipped with high end accessories. Only negative, after long day walking and shopping returned to our room to relax before dinner at 3:00 and room not made up, housekeeping at door wanting to make up room.

Such a beautiful hotel in the perfect location for our Victoria getaway!

Lovely boutique style hotel very convenient for Victoria with all areas easily available on foot. Our large room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Wonderful bathroom with double size shower, the Dyson hairdryer was a nice touch. The front counter staff were very efficient and helpful. We dined in The Courtney Room and really enjoyed the chefs tasting menu with accompanying wines. Our server Emma was excellent as was Rosie behind the bar mixing wonderful drinks. My wife took advantage of the spa and was very impressed with her facial and manicure she received from Chantel. We look forward to staying at the Magnolia again soon and thank you to all the team for making our stay so pleasant.

It is an oasis that is architecturally stunning incorporating old and new world. The amenities are first rate; the Courtney Room restaurant is lovely, and the staff outstanding. The proximity to the museum, parliament, and the seawall is convenient. Being a pet-friendly hotel is also a bonus.

Beautiful and romantic. This hotel goes above and beyond and has incredible comfortable and luxurious linens and dreamy beds. We had the most incredible view of parliament and that made our stay pure magic. Cannot wait to go back.

The Magnolia was amazing when we stayed for our anniversary. The room was absolutely lovely, with excellent housekeeping and amenities. The staff were lovely every time we interacted with them, and helped us celebrate a bit. The hotel is very convenient to all of the downtown shops, restaurants, inner harbor, transportation, etc. We had a car for two days and never had trouble parking near the hotel. The area is safe and quiet, even at night.

Facility and staff are second to none. Could not find a better location in Victoria!

One of the best hotels you could stay at

I was trying to decide between The Magnolia Hotel and The Empress Hotel, and I did choose wisely. The Magnolia Hotel was perfect in every way. Rooms were very clean and furnished with wonderful options. The available snakes were from the local area of Rogers chocolates and toffee popcorn. Reusable Water bottle with the wine glasses. A Nestlé coffee maker plus a selection of coffees to choose from. Robes with slippers in the closet with complementary umbrella I didn’t see till too late. (The day I was leaving.) Then add the gold tier vip to the room and trip from hotels.com It was amazing with an unexpected hotel room upgrade to the second best room and discount to the restaurant “the Courtney Room”. I absolutely loved my stay. I look forward to coming here again in two years.

From the warm welcome, the offer to store our luggage upon arrival, the upgraded room, the complimentary bottle of champaign for our Anniversary, to the superior amenities in the room, everything was outstanding!! We would highly recommend this hotel to others and will return on our next trip.

Was very pleased with the hotel and spa. Only downside was the early morning street noise from daily trash pickup and restaurant deliveries. In hindsight, would have requested a room on the left side of the hotel.

Staff were amazingly friendly. They were able to accommodate an early check in as well as an oversized vehicle. Great coffee bar & fruit available for your morning or afternoon stroll. Bar/restaurant attached cozy, sophisticated and award winning!
