Location amazing.
Location is absolutely fantastic. Centrally located in a lovely location. I had the basic room with no view of the basilica but I was out the whole time so not important. I’m sure the rooms with views would be stunning. Clean rooms freshly decorated. Lovely girl on reception recommend a local restaurant to me which was amazing. Thank you and see you next time I’m in Budapest.
The location was excellent for this property, but it is not quite the hotel you are expecting. The property is located beside St Stephen’s Church and is on top of all the major places to visit but the hotel is more like a concept, they are semi-modernised rooms inside a run down building where the lift (which is akin to something out of the shining) only holds 3 people and if you opt to walk up the stairs, at night it’s a little worrying as the lights don't automatically come on and you are walking in the dark. Reception is only open until 8pm and then is unmanned, there are no phones are in the room if needed. No extra pillows were given when asked for as they had none to give, but did however have extra blankets. It’s a little like a hostel, definitely not what I was expecting. Only provided one coffee each for one day in the room and the kettle was dangerous as didn’t switch off, but clean. Would not stay here again and should be no more than 2 stars.
Apartments “mixed” into the building the hotel is located. In common areas, constant strong smell of trash. Convenience and views are the only redeeming part of staying here
Excellent location. The staff were super helpful. We had a couple issues with the plumbing, but they were on it very quickly.
Location, location, location. No thrills, but very reasonably priced.
Great stay for GP week
Great location and good value for money. A little noisy in the evenings and mornings but I would expect that for the central location. The shower could do with a curtain or screen as it was difficult to shower standing up without soaking the whole bathroom! Nice big room and lovely views of the church.
It was near many restaurants, attractions, & shops which was very convenient. The elevator has a very small capacity but staff were very helpful.
Great
Had a great stay here for a few days we landed late and were able to get the key from a secure box. Perfect location central to everything and staff were very helpful
The staff and service at this property were wonderful. They were warm and welcoming and eager to help. The location was amazing with a beautiful view of St Stephen’s out the window. However, the bathroom was a very difficult situation. The drain in the shower ran extremely slowly - even with the water just trickling out, the shower drain couldn’t keep up. My daughters and I took extremely short showers so the water wouldn’t pool, and even still we couldn’t run enough water to wash our hair. There was also a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor that had a broken cover - so essentially there was a treacherous hole in the middle of the floor. But the worst issue by far was a terrible odor that was present in the bathroom. It was sometimes very strong and sometimes almost undetectable, but it made for a very unpleasant bathroom experience. Overall, other than the bathroom issues, we would have been extremely happy as everything else was great!
Perfect location
We loved the location of this hotel. The room was clean, modern and overlooked the st Stephen basilica. We paid a little extra to face the cathedral, which made it special. There were shops & multiple restaurants nearby and a lively night life that quieted down by 11pm so was never a problem. 2 things were off putting with this hotel/our room. 1) Once you find the hotel, you realize that the rooms all seem to open to the lobby in an apartment that was converted to a hotel. The receptionist/reception area was about 3-4 meters from our room door, so our room didn’t feel particularly private. And since there was a large table about 1.5 meters from our room door, at anytime of the day or night random guests could be sitting there. On the other hand, maybe that means the rooms have more direct supervision. 2) Since the hotel is just above the ground floor, when the blinds on the room windows were open, it felt like people could see in, so we felt that we had to keep the blinds shut at night which defeats the purpose of having a view. I wish the blinds could have covered the bottom part of the window to block people in the square below but still allow a view of the cathedral. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but I would try a more traditional hotel next time given the many options.
LOVED this property! Communication was great! They emailed several days in advance explaining the procedures of entering the building if coming after hours. The staff was friendly. The room was huge! It was within walking distance of most of the main sites!
It was great location and affordable prices in this hotel for touring in the heart of Budapest.
The location is great (100E airport bus is within walking distance!). The staff is friendly. The room has everything needed. Will stay at this hotel again if I ever come back to Budapest).
Great location. Easy to walk to many areas. Close to metro. A little bit hard to find as it’s basically a door with a sign above. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved having a kitchenette with grocery stores nearby.
Best view and location
Amazing location, our panoramic view room had direct views of the Basilica. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely return and recommend
Awesome price for great location.
It is centrally located and room was very clean. The only issue I had was you will hear other guests from neighboring room. It is inconvenient if guest is loud. Also, the smell from the first floor as you enter the building is unpleasant. Other than that, the room is very modern and clean. The receptionist at the front desk during business hours was very friendly. Would definitely stay again for price and location. It is a short distance to tram station and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby.
We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The room was cute and comfortable, it may not be your typical hotel with a 24 hour concierge but the instruction in getting in and out of the building is pretty easy in case you get back late at night. Kari and the rest of the staff are very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The location is fantastic as it is close to almost everything! Our airport shuttle service with Zoltan is superb. The bathroom leaks during shower which I guess is the only issue we had. Overall, it was a great stay and will definitely book this hotel when we visit again. Koszonom!
This is not a typical hotel property. Location is excellent as long as you are okay with not having 24/7 concierge. Depending on the floor you get it could get loud at night. We had our own noise cancelling machine so we were okay. The rooms facing basilica get a lot of light. The rooms itself are very clean and modern looking.
Wonderful
Our stay was wonderful and staff very helpful. Location was perfect to shops, cafes etc,,,
This hotel is a gem in the heart of Budapest city center. Karin and her colleague are the best hotel staff I‘ve ever met - ultrafriendly, helpful, and genuine people. Location is literally in front of the basilica and plaza, walking distance to everything. Value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!
Great Location - NOT so Great Hotel
My friend and I had arrived within the hours that there was supposed to be a person at the reception desk (about 9:30 am). However, there was no one there and we were left waiting outside in the hot and dark hallway for over 30 minutes as we had no way in. Finally, someone arrived and we were able to leave our bags until check in time later in the day. Upon check in, we quickly realized that the door to the bathroom in the room would get stuck if closed fully. It did not really matter, because the door was totally transparent! No privacy at all - very strange! Not to mention that the shower door had a crack and would flood the entire bathroom with almost an inch of water each time someone showered. The only saving grace of this hotel is that the location is superb. It is in walking distance from many restaurants, public transportation stops, and beautiful Budapest sights. Although the location was wonderful, I would not recommend this hotel for any travelers.
Lovey Location. Great Staff. Great room. Clean, nice, spacious. And friendly People. I love this place. I WOULD STAY again and again if I ever go back TO BUDAPEST. The people at the reception helped us to store our things and also helped to carry them into the room. Great manners. I give this place 100 points for sure. Price is good too. Please stay like that.
A mixed bag
The hotel is located in an apartment building next to St Stephen’s Basilica. This made it a little confusing to find at first. Select Magazin on the intercom and you will be buzzed in. The windowless reception is on the first floor, second floor to Americans. There are stairs in the entryway with a ramp (see pic) and an elevator to your right (see pic). The receptionist was lovely and spoke English well. Our room was on the 4th floor (5th to Americans) with large windows overlooking the Basilica and pedestrian zone square. Room was quiet, a/c was good, bed was comfortable, location was great. However, clothes from a previous guest were left in a cabinet that the tv sat on, we put them on the floor (see pic) and told reception when we left. No closet, instead a portable stand with hangers, not a lot of counter space in kitchen, but it did have fridge, microwave, etc. Not a lot of shelf space in bathroom, but enough towels, toiletries and hair dryer. The shower was large enough, but the cold water pressure came and went very quickly, so you had to be prepared to get out from under the spray or get scalded. It was a hand-held shower head with a holder that slipped out a few times before we got it in securely. Our receptionist was extremely nice and was horrified when we told her about the leftover clothes. On balance it was not expensive, location was great, but I would likely stay at a different hotel on a return visit.
Lovely apartment on St. Stephen’s Square.
Lovely apartment on St. Stephen’s plaza. Hear the bells ring. Clean and comfortable. Great staff. Lots of good restaurants and easy to see all the sights. Great value.
Awesome location
Great location! Literally right in the plaza by the basilica. It is a bit odd to find and they didn’t really give instructions now to get into the building in order to check in. So it was a bit weird at first when I got into the building and didn’t see a lobby. But overall great place. Would recommend.
First of all, the room was very clean and comfortable. There was a kitchen area to prepare hot drinks and simple food which was great for a solo traveller. However, it was hard to access the building. I pressed all the intercom buttons, annoyed someone I disturbed, and eventually had to ring the hotel number to get access when arrived. The woman on Reception was lovely, however my room was not ready despite being past check in time. She was very helpful and put me in another room instead. This was not a problem, however, they did not change the room number or key card for a late arriving couple who opened the door to my room at 11pm that night! They were very tired but we managed to contact someone who sorted it out. For a solo traveller this unnerved me. Fortunately I was still awake and was not yet in bed. But it caused a lot of stress for me and the poor couple who were only following the instructions they had been given. The hotel is in a great location, is comfortable but really needs to sort its administration and guest management processes out.
Nice, clean and tidy The only drawback could be the noise at night as it is located right at the busy plaza in front of the famous Basilica
Minimalistic, modern, clean.
Modern design interiors. Basic, but I did not need anything more. Room very clean with beautiful view– worth the money. Karolina at the reception desk - very, very helpful. She stayed 2 more hours over her regular working time to help me out with the online reservation issue. She called all the relevant agents to solve a problem which was not caused by the Magazine hotel. Karolina – Great Thanks.
This was a beautiful place to stay in an excellent location for sightseeing and Karenina and the other staff were lovely. I would stay again!
There is a key pad on the door which we did not know the code. We called a couple times on the pad and got no answer, but someone was leaving and told us wheee to go. From then on it was smooth, check in was good, the room was just a room with a mostly comfortable bed, perfect for what we needed.
Great Location
Went to Budapest to visit the Christmas Markets. The location of the Hotel was just perfect. Right outside one of the main Markets, 5 minutes walk from the Airport Bus Stop. Room was comfy and clean. Would recommend as a base to explore the City. Right outside St Stephen's Basilica which is also the starting point for the Hop on Hop off Bus Tours.
Great location, great room looking at a basilica. I will stay here again.
Big up!
The checking was pretty easy and the staff was very helpful. As soon as I've asked for any tiny things, I got almost immediate help. I've had a very positive experience and I only can recommend it.
Great location but simple accomodation
Hotel is one step away from St Stephens square and church in the heart of Budapest. Accomodation is more like an air b&b with a 9-5 receptionist. Stylish, small, contemporary, minimalist room, bordering on stark. TV only had Hungarian channels, hairdryer but no room safe (there was a simple lockable cupboard). If it weren't for the great location then I would say room was well overpriced.
great location ! however, no reception malfunctioning elevator no warm water strict checkout (11 am) Should strike the word Hotel. misleading. Ideal for young people on a budget with no need for comfort
Room is dull and dark, with smell of smoke from the outside yard
Highly recommended!
Lovely apartment
Lovely apartment in an excellent location beside the Basillica, very central. Excellent service from reception. Would definitely stay here again during my next visit to Budapest.
Location is excellent on St Stephens Sq with views of the Basilica from our window. Lots of bars / restaurants and shops within minutes walking distance. Good location to walk in any direction to see the sites. Rooms are split over different floors with other flats access in the block
The location is very very good. I would recommend and if we return I’ll be staying here again. Start friendly and helpful
Central location - however very noisy - and the rooms had a very pungent smell
the location was perfect, very central. Rooms were very clean and modern
Bad check-in arrangement
Sorry but I have to be honest about my worst check-in experience here. I was checking in at around 9pm, which was after the reception hours (8am-8pm). Beforehand they sent me a password to open a locker that holds my room key. When I opened the designated locker, it was empty and I panicked a lot. I called the hotel's emergency phone number and luckily it worked. I was told that very unfortunately some staff had mixed up the lockers and put the room key in another locker :/ Very soon I was given the correct password and locker with great help from the staff over the phone. It is safe to say this is the worst thing that any traveler can experience in a hotel - receiving wrong information about check-in procedures, with the fear you might have nowhere to stay overnight, or have to carry around your heavy luggage in search of another hotel. I know this incident happens rarely, but it's a mistake that should not happen even for once. This bad experience aside, this hotel has an enjoyable view of the Basilica and is close to metro stations and airport bus 100E. Decorations were modern and space was adequate. Sometimes the crowd in the plaza could be noisy till late nights though. Overall I enjoyed the hotel very much despite the initial bad check-in arrangement.
Great Location!
We stayed the first weekend of December and booked a room with a view. Right outside our window was the Christmas market and the Cathedral....just beautiful! Staff were friendly and had great information to share about our stay, our room was clean, and the space was very quiet. This is a great place to stay if you want to be able to get around Budapest easily...we saw all the major sights on foot because we were so central.
The hotel / apartments were fantastic. Excellent location, polite, helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend for couples and groups. No area for complaint.
Best location! Cool staff and attention to details like the card with most common frases.
Wonderful location for access to the city. Room was nice, especially for the concert on Friday, 23/8. Front desk was very helpful even assisting with our luggage. Room was noisy with bar below us, but considering other benefits we didn’t mind. Would come back!
Loved the location, beautiful area and so near to everything we wanted to do. Really friendly staff. Nice spacious room with city view. We arrived after reception closed and it was a little dark and difficult to find our room but we would definitely come back here again.
Perfect location, room was clean and very modern with a great artsy vibe. Would stay again
Great location and connection to public transportation. Possibility of luggage storage after checking out. We had a small studio apartment that was very small, but clean.
Very pleasant and satisfied stay
We had a great stay and I can’t say enough about the service. We missed one of our trains and going to show up after 8pm. The front desk left us some specific instructions on how to get into the building and hotel. Seamless. Our AC was broken and the hotel had it fixed the next day and provided us with a free dinner at a local restaurant where the food is amazing! Couldn’t say enough nice things about this hotel and its staff.
I liked the location as it was well centralized , close to shops and restaurants and located right next to St Stephen’s Basilica.
Good location, no air conditioner!
Wonderful location! No air conditioning! Left after one night because no guarantee it would be fixed. Wish we had been informed before check-in. Bare minimum of furniture and tub was extremely difficult to get into. This room would be good for young travelers with low travel expectations.
Very nice place to stay in Budapest Close to everything
Modern and stylish in a old classic building. Good amenities. Convenient Location.
ABsolutely amazing place to stay
Amazing location, beautiful interiors and very friendly staff! We came here over Christmas, and the atmosphere was unbelievable! The room we stayed in was very spacious and cozy, while the hotel is in ideal location to be close to everything. Will definitely come back soon!
Incredible Location!
This hotel is right in the heart of it all! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and a wealth of information about all things Budapest! We could walk to almost all of the tourist sites from here, and for those that we couldn't, an especially friendly front desk person was quick to help with explaining local transportation options.
Simply an amazing hotel. Great viev of the basilica. Very clean. And the best location. Will be back again
Great location
Brilliant location for 90 pound a night and room and bathroom was lovely reception very helpful with any requests about where to eat and helped me print a tag for an onward bus journey. Only niggle was that was difficult to get into building and had no instructions but once advised and reliased was amazing. Was a little noisy at night but the location and ease of everything makes up for everything. View of a lovely church was amazing. 3 min walk to Danube and try the Borze restaurant ask for directions lovely food and service would defo stay here again for 90 pound a nights of more would expect more if that makes sense
Flat was clean, but very basic. Not even a kettle in the room. Nice location.
Location was great - central and we were able to walk to most places of interest. Can be slightly noisy due to restaurants downstairs.
The best possible location we could have asked for
Our stay was fantastic! We are a group of four girls who were looking for a place close to the centre as well as the nightlife in the evening. We couldn’t have found a better spot. Our view from the window looked straight down onto one of the main tourist attractions (shown in the photo but looked even better in the day) surrounded by lovely restaurants. We were a 2 minute walk away from the river with the main bridge right in front of us! There was a bank cashpoint just around the corner and the nightlife was about a 10 minute walk away. We honestly couldn’t have asked for any more. Exactly what we wanted. Easy access to the apartment, basic and modern. So happy with our stay, would definitely stay again.
The location of this hotel is amazing. Literally in the square of st Stephens basilica. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very small which is expected but it wasn’t clean. There was a thick layer of dust on the skirting boards. we did not receive fresh towels during our 3 night stay, the bedding was not changed, the coffee was not replenished and the bottle of water left had clearly been used before.
Surprisingly good
Be brave, dear reader and your bravery will be rewarded richly. The entrance hall and stairs are a bit unpleasant, BUT once you gain access to your room all that will be swiftly forgotten. I had the beautiful room 11. Overall superb. Wouldn’t hurt to spend a few forints on paint/maintenance but the location and views are sublime.
Good location but initially we were in a double room which was terrible- stuffy, no light through the windows and paper thin walls. We asked to upgrade and fortunately they had a studio available for the last two nights Wich was much more comfortable with a beautiful view of st Stephens basilica. There place felt clean overall but simple things like bin bags were forgotten. They were a bit mean with not giving us coffee for the last day / only one tea bag in the room. Overall very pretty location but it was really a no frills experience and the double rooms are basically like a hostel. Go for a studio if you have a choice
Good location and quiet to say its next to bazilika.. Throughout our stay Dorottya was very kind and helpful and is an asset to magazine hotel. Thank you x
Situated in the square is a great place to start but that comes with the noise. Rooms basic and back rooms look out on dull dark court yard but are probably quieter than front rooms . Beds and towels are basic . And kitchen is limited to just making coffee
Great location! Also loved the Budapest guide put together by the hotel and e-mailed to us before our arrival to make the most of our time there.
Great place to stay in Budapest
I choose the Basilica view and was not disappointed. The location of the hotel could not have been more perfect. Hotel staff was wonderful and very helpful with information. I will stay here again and I look forward to that stay. I did have a problem with the room deodorizer which was a bit strong and bothered my allergies. I spoke to the desk staff and requested no more to be sprayed, and they took care of the problem
Budapest break
Fantastic location and great value for money
Such a lovely stay at this hotel, I want to come back now! Comfy bed, clean rooms, nice little bathroom with a shower that is a decent strength (!), super friendly and helpful staff. Offered a taxi prior to our trip from the airport at a set price of €33/10,000 forint which we made use of (and going home again) which made our stay so much smoother not having to worry about our next steps and they safely looked after our luggage on our last day until our evening fligh. In the city centre, everything on your doorstep so after you have spent all day exploring it’s so easy to nip back to the hotel to freshen up before the evening. I don’t think I can fault it honestly :) great value and great service, please don’t change! :)
The magazine hotel is situated at a very convience location. 5 mins walk from the metro,3 mins to supermarket, 10 mins walk to chain bridge. Surrounding there are restaurant snd cafe. Going airport is easy, one can take a metro which is few stop away Deák Ferenc ter and take 100E directly to the airport .
The position of the hotel was just perfect! Most of the sight seeing were in a walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only problem was the shower that wasn’t completely clean.
Excellent location comfortable room for one person Very nice front desk staff. Needs more thorough cleaning of the rooms.
We spent a few nights here with my other half and our stay was absolutely amazing. Main attractions of Budapest are literally a minute away from the hotel. The view from the room was beautiful and we loved how quiet the room was. Such a stylish little place it is! I can only recommend this place :)
Great hotel
Wonderful hotel and staff. Great location close to lots of things.
Good stay
Overall it was a good stay and I do recommend this hotel. It was a simple hotel with a modern and clean style. Great location but it comes with the music from nearby clubs on the weekends.
Wonderful stay
The people at the desk were wonderful. The only complaint was the bed was a little hard. Fantastic location. Great restaurants nearby
It was good . The only thing is that there is no telephone in the room
Nice clean rooms. No fuss. Easy check in. My only suggestion is that they should add full body mirrors to the rooms. That was the only drawback for me.
Scary lift!!
This hotel was perfect for a girls long weekend to Budapest. Brilliant location that’s easily walkable to Buda side/ruin bars/good restaurants etc. Upon arrival the receptionist was very helpful and friendly! We stayed in the large room for 5. Firstly - what a view!! This included a large double bed, a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed. The single sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but did the job! Only negatives would be that on our third day we got stuck in the very old small lift.. I tried calling the hotel reception and no one answered. So we called the alarm system in the lift and were told they would be half an hour.. thankfully about 5/10 minutes in someone pressed for the lift and it took us to a floor. We went to reception and found a somewhat less helpful young woman who not only heard the phone ringing and didn’t pick up, really didn’t care that we had been stuck and someone was having a panic attack, so much so that she wouldn’t even call the alarm company to cancel them coming to fix. We also asked for more towels and toilet paper as we hadn’t been given enough for the number of people but were told we had to wait for the cleaners as they had no access.. despite this.. ultimately a great hotel! I think it was more bad luck getting stuck in the lift and the unhelpful receptionist. Would definitely recommend.. just maybe take the stairs!
Good (big) Time
One of the best place to stay! We love Budapest
Amazing service and location! I would definitely come back.
Great value
Great location and price! Though the room is small, it is very clean.
Long weekend in Budapest
Overall great. Warm welcome, great location, spacious room overlooking the St Stephen basilica. Only negative, slightly noisy at night due to nearby bar and basilica bells ringing in the morning
Great location
Great location, close to restaurant and attraction. The room is comfortable with air condition, just the cleaning of the bed can be better.
The staff was very helpful. The location was perfect and we had a beautiful basilica view from our window. Bed was super comfortable and room was very clean!!! Wonderful place!
A bit too much fun!
Great room! Great view but a bit loud because there are a lot of bars right below.
Great stay!
The hotel is located in a great location. Very satisfied with our stay of 3 nights here.
Great reception staff, helpful with everything. Fantastic location, only metres from the main entrance to the Basilica. Quirky character!
Hotel with best location
Great location. Right beside Bazilika. Friendly and helpful staffs. The best you can ask for a non-five star hotel with very good rates.
Great room, but this place isn't truly a 'hotel'
This place has more of an Apartments vibe for sure. You have to go up the steps or elevator in a very old and run down building before getting to the very small 'lobby/reception'. Guests room doors are literally two feet in front of the very small front desk. I was shocked and upset when I realized this place was not a true Hotel and more of apartments for sure. With that being said, I must admit that I grew to like the room over the nights I was there, the room was new with great design features and clean. The 'hotel' is in a good area for tourism. Just be aware that if you are expecting more of a true hotel style this is not it, but overall a good value for the price in the end.
I was situated in room 1. The air con didn’t work... it displays and E7 error code on the fan. The shower door leaked when the main shower was on! Left towels soaking wet... The TV, although stated the english channels did not work. But the most irritating this about this whole hotel was the cleaners cupboard or storage cupboard my room was next too. I was located in Room 1 and at 7am every morning I was being woken up to clattering outside my door and doors banging! Which was really annoying! I love Budapest and this hotel looked amazing and is nice inside I just think I was unlucky with the room I was given
Superb location
Great hotel in a really fantastic location close to all the main sights. Everything in walking distance. We had a studio apartment - the smaller of all available so it was a bit of a tight squeeze walking around some parts of the room. But it was well equipped and nicely decorated. Only down side was that our room was “cleaned” only once during our stay even though we put the sign on the door as asked. Reception Staff were really great and helpful throughout our stay.
The room really needed a full-length mirror and the bare light bulb-decorator look in the room was sleek but annoyingly harsh and really gave very little light. The staff was very helpful, but the music from a pub? restaurant? next door kept me up until 2 a.m.
Dirty, moldy, dusty and lazy
The room was modern and nicely decorated, however it was really dirty. The sheets seemed slept in and I could smell another persons deodorant on the duvet. The bathroom sliding door was super dusty, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned for months. The shower had black mold on the floor. Since it a modern room, black mold would indicate that it has never been cleaned properly from the start. The shower heads had extreme calcium buildup which again indicates poor cleaning. The shower also leaked excessively which we weren't able to clear up with the towels completely, and then was also not cleared and dried by the room cleaning staff, so we just had a drenched bathroom floor and soaked floor towels our entire stay. The soap in the bathroom was clearly dishwashing liquid and it was mixed with water. It was basically a bottle of water with a squirt of dishwashing liquid. I think this is totally unacceptable and I cannot believe any hotel would do this. We paid a lot of money to stay there and it was really disappointing. There was coffee supplied, but only for the first day, it was never replenished even though we stayed 3 nights. We booked a stay over New Years, which I understand is a celebratory time of year and maybe the staff weren't feeling like working, however we paid almost double of what the normal room rates are because of New Years , so we expected more. I am super disappointed with this hotel and will never go there again. I would not recommend to anyone.
Very Friendly staff and fantastic location, couldn't have asked for more.
Great Location - Interesting Decor
I was thrilled with the location right in front of St Stephen's Basilica with the Christmas market, and I enjoyed the Magazine Hotel as it was quite different from anywhere I'd stayed before. The decor is colorful and my room was comfortable although a tad compact. I should probably mention that the rooms and apartments are located in what appears to be a former office building. The staff was super helpful.
Lovely hotel and in a central location
Really nice hotel which is fashion inspired. Rooms are modern and minimalistic. Staff were very friendly. So close to Saint Stephens Basilica and the Christmas markets which was great!

Gorgeous quirky stay, very spacious room. Staff was friendly and location was amazing would stay again. Was spotlessly clean and beds where very comfortable.
