The hotel is excellent as well as the service rendered from the staff for the level of hotel rated. Awesome breakfast buffet spread. Spacious room. 이 호텔은 걍 괜다. 방을 크고 편하다. 아침 식사 엄청좋고 맛있다. Some room for improvements: > Gym: needs more aircon and ventilation > Room amenities: some are old/broken - to check before guests checks in (eg. kettle, tv remote control battery) > Business Center: set up a side or space for business center for guests to do their work whilst waiting for check-in or check-out waiting for their next journey.

got charged 50,000 rupiah for blood stain on pillow slip caused by mosquito bite. Shower flooded, TV didn't work, Window locks broken. Staff arrogant

A well located hotel but in need of rescue

The room is very tired. The shower curtain is mouldy and stained. The bed sheet was discoloured, off white. The wooden floor tiling has came off but was nailed to the ground as a quick fix. Overall the room looks mediocre and does not reflect a four star or even three star rating hotel.

Very recommended hotel

booked 5 rooms for a short vacation with our family. 2 babies were with us and the hotel manager was very keen that he allowed us to reserve 2 baby cots for free. Staffs were friendly. Parking space was a concern for some guests as the hotel only has a few car park space, but we were happy as they provided a free valet service for guests. Breakfast were nice. Room was reasonably clean. The only thing we would think about before making another reservation was the terrible traffic jam right on the street in front of the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Good location hotel

Hotel at good location. All the staffs were friendly and very helpful with smiling face. Overall were nice and good. The room WIFI was slow, need to improve. The hotel swimming pool water look not very clean because the water don't overflow like normal standard pool designed. Hope they will take action to improve it.

The hotel was good ad we like the size of the room and the bed!! The other 'quality' of guests (during breakfast) was not so good. It somehow reminds you of a cheap hotel.

Just Normal nothing Fantastic about this Hotel

The Hotel rooms are big BUT the toilet are horrible especially on the tap area and the floor has quite a bad smell. BREAKFAST was sooo boring throughout the 6 nights, the utensils are not clean properly.

Looking for another time

The bed need replacement since every single move the sound from the bank heard better it was lying on the floor. During dinner time as moslem obligation, the table were many reserved but empy no one sat while many guests came looking for the chair, enjoying meal was not convenient enough and I decided leave early after chosen small amount slice fruits and some spoons of fettuccine and two glass of water

Everything is great about this hotel except the car park space which is very limited.

Good location, friendly staff

The hotel was pleasing to stay in and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant within the hotel/room delivery service provided great food albeit at a slightly higher price (which was expected) as compared to food sold outside. The only downside of this hotel is that they do not provide tissue in the toilet nor in the rooms, thus we had to go to a nearby supermarket to get a pack.

Hotel room quite spacious & all things in working condition. Before i booked the hotel did ask for 3 side by side room but when reaching d hotel only provide 2 connecting room & 1 room few doors away but we still happy with it. The breakfast i rate 3 out 5.

The hotel staff are friendly however when being asked for assistance, for example requesting for hairdryer there is a long waiting time. Room looks really nice and thr toilets are good however there is only one empty power socket and the room is pretty dark even with lights on, the beds and the pillows are really comfortable. Overall experience is good and would recommend others to try.

Good location. We were staying near the pool so a bit noisy in the morning when there are children swimming in the pool. House keeping a bit lousy as they came knocking on our door in the middle of the nite (1am) asking if we requested for toothbrush! They should have check properly before disturbing sleeping guests.

Overall a fabulous stay. Hotel feels new n cosy. However, the street in front was always congested. Would stay there again for next trip.

One of the best hotel I ever stay in. Big, clean and spacious room. Fantastic staff, always with a smile. They are always ready to help and provide. In fact nothing to pinpoint the wrong. You won't regret it.

Superb Hotel

We enjoyed our stay at the Luxton. The room is big and clean. The hotel location is near to the shopping mall and factory outlet. Breakfast menu is acceptable.

First day, the room AC is leaking. Was not really happy but called the room service and they sent someone right away. The mechanic said that we will be removed to a different room for our convenient. However, I had to call a couple times to get them to move us right away, as they were originally said that we had to wait at least till 11 am to get a new room, that's when people check out. Was not happy at all, i told the receptionist they need to move us right away as it was not healthy to be in room that's leaking nor it's safe for my 2 year old to be in. So they finally moved us. Other than that, the food was okay, a little blend, and but the fitness guy and other workers were really nice. Location wise is good.

* My Friend and I stayed in for 1 night in May 2015. * Great Location. * We stayed in room 310; a Deluxe room at the end of the hallway of the 3rd floor in West Wing Building. + I think our room is a little bigger coz it's at the end of the hallway. - We have a window with a view of an empty terrace (a.k.a. NO VIEW at all) + The room is clean and nice. + The bed is clean and comfy. + Bathroom is nize size; remember to close the curtain at the shower window, otherwise people can see you from the bed. + There's a medium size fridge (not the tiny fridge). - They provide electric kettle to boil water; however the switch in the kettle was now working properly, I waited the kettle to stop boiling for a few minutes and it just kept boiling & did not stop automatically. It's a minor problem yet dangerous. - The shower water is only lukewarm, not hot. I don't think they have a good hot water system, coz I took shower after my friend, so the hot water should have time to warm up; and I turned the handle all the way to hot part and the the water only came out lukewarm. * a descent gym; hosted by a very polite and helpful staff. * a descent size swimming pool (it looks bigger in the picture) * the parking space is small. they have basement and back lot parking space; they're each fit 20cars double park; so the parking attendance did a lot of pushing the cars. * Overall it's a very nice hotel and very good deal using the rate from Hotel.com

Overall A Good & Nice Hotel

Front desk staff rather slow to finalise our check in for 2 rooms even though there wasn't anyone else checking in. They are also not very knowledgeable about their own town when we asked some questions. The breakfast spread was reasonably good and the cooking is good as well. Will certainly recommend friends to stay here.

Review of Luxton

The hotel location was pretty good. Opposite Luxton there is a food court place called Kampong Aceh that serves pretty decent Indonesian food and its open 24 hours. There are factory outlets within a 5-10 minutes walk which is pretty convenient. The hotel itself has good facilities, a gym, swimming pool, spa etc. The hotel front desk spoke decent English and could help us out with alot of local transport booking and planning.

Bad Service

Bad service. When we arrived, they gave us 1 room at 10th floor but the door is broken. Then we moved to 8th floor. On second day, we asked the house keeping to clean the room around 3 pm but unfortunately they forgot to clean it till we went back to hotel at 10 pm. Travelling with babies in this condition is not helping at all. can you imagine if i have to wait 30 - 45 minutes at 10 pm because they cleaned the room? Oh my god, really bad service.

Fast check in upon arrival Room is very spacious and clean (very important) Most amenities are in place, except for hairdryer. Perhaps we would have to ask for it. (which I didn't ask in my case) Beddings is comfortable. On my 3rd day, experience 3 blackout (afternoon period) while I was in the hotel. Even the shopping mall experience it once. Hotel has a simple gym n small lap pool. Good enough for workout and relaxation. Didn't try the buffet breakfast thus cant comment on food. Though I read some mixed review. On the last day, we needed to change more rupiah only to be told they do not have enough rupiah for exchange. We are only changing 100SGD worth. Also noted that their staff will knock on our door indicating they need to clean up the room, which I personally frown upon.

It was a good trip, room service personnel during my stay was friendly with excellence service, front desk staff ( Ms intan) was very helpful. Downside was i didnt get breakfast during my stays, when i booked through Hotels.com it was indicated that breakfast included.

Awesome stay!

The hotel rocks and its way affordable! Bandung really let's everyone lives like kings and queens! We even ordered room service because it is that affordable! The hotel is near factory outlets in the Dago area e.g. Jetset, Grande, Blossom etc but it would be more advisable to take a cab there (bluebird taxis preferred) and the hotel can call the cab for you! The only con is that the hotel does not provide free airport transfer. Taking a cab from the airport to the hotel would cost about IDR 50.000 which is 1/3 the price of the hotel transfer. But hotel transfer gives a better sense of security especially if you are arriving at Bandung at night!

Check in after arrival was easy, the reception staff friendly and helpful at all times, the concierge helpful regarding sites to visit and directing me to places, though some places can be reached by walking instead of taxi (surely after respecting certain precautions, i.e. ladies leave your Gucci bags and diamonds at home) but I think it is just a safety first policy by the hotel. I did not encounter any lapses with the house keeping as I had read at some other rating websites and found them fast compared to usual Indonesian standards. The room cleaning at the second day of my stay could have been a bit better (dropped cookies still at the floor). The views from the room are pleasant, advantages are surrounding shopping malls and the better local food outlets quite nearby, in fact in walking within distance. Internet speed was fine. Breakfast was good too but would recommend a better brand for the jam and more strength to the black tea (I thought nearby Bandung is a tea plantation area???). But the basics are there and if you are adventurous to taste the local dishes, it is all fine. Please keep up the local herbs drinks for breakfast that gives some difference to the other hotels... The sunset drink at the roof bar at the extension building is very joyful (sure pricier than at normal food outlets). I really liked the non smoking policy inside the hotel areas (lobby etc). overall a very pleasant stay. Don't forget to bring sufficient funds for the factory outlets nearby.

Bit of a disappointment really

It is kind of a fake 4 star hotel - looks good from a distance, but does not hold up to closer inspection. Lousy food in the restaurant, which was empty. I guess that should have been a clue.

Patronizing receptionist

Picked up at the airport by hotel transfer service. Excellent. Reception at hotel less impressive: We had requested early check-in (around 10) well in advance (and accepted the possibility of additional cost), but the receptionist just told us to sit down and wait without even mentioning our request. When we asked, the receptionist explained repeatedly that check out was at 12 and check in was at 14. As if asking for an early check-in was a really stupid thing to do. In the end one of us did get a room at 11.30 and the other at 1.15... On departure I had booked the hotel shuttle again, for myself only as my colleague would be leaving on a much later flight and wanted a long morning's rest. The receptionist asked for my colleague and I explained that she would be leaving later. Despite this they called her room several times, disturbing her much needed rest (jet lagged and exhausted) to ask if she was not leaving with me. This attitude has left me with a not favourable impression of the hotel.
