Good location. Property is not well maintained. Bathrooms small and fixtures are poor. Lighting in bathroom was poor and mirror on the wall was too small to be useful

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, sehr viele Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und das Meer zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind teilweise sehr ramboniert und nicht alles funktioniert. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The staff poor service and unprofessional.

Good location, affordable price...

We arrived a bit early to drop our bags and go shopping until our room was ready and were surprised to be check in early instead. Staff were happy and friendly. The pics of this hotel might need some updating as it's now looking a bit tired. Room was clean and comfortable however the AC was a bit noisy and struggled to maintain a consistent temperature.

This place is an OK place. I don't have any major bad experience. If you are expecting a fine place similar to a Marriot then that's not it. The room is spacious, the bathroom is what we did not like and it feels old. Our shower had issues with adjusting hot/cold and the hand held fixture was lose. My daughter was feeling sick and she threw up for which we needed new sheets. Called the front office and they said the house keeping was not available. They couldn't even give us new sheets, saying the room was locked and they did not have access to it. The next day our room power went out. We called the front office and they did respond to that. They have a odd rule of holding 1000baht as a security deposit when you check-in in cash. So if you don't have cash before going to this place then you better be prepared to run down to a foreign exchange nearby. They also charge an extra 500 baht if you asks for additional key cards.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel required a $1,000 cash deposit upon check-in, and guests must retain the paper receipt provided in order to reclaim their deposit upon checkout. During my stay, I discovered that the hotel does not have any security measures in place to restrict access to the guest rooms, meaning anyone can walk in and out freely. On one particular night, my room was disturbed at 3 AM by repeated loud banging on the door. I chose not to open it, but the incident left me feeling unsafe and disturbed. Given these issues, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Very nice staff , lovely place to stay at near Patong Beach and all the restaurants. I had an excellent stay here and would most definitely be back here at this hotel Thank you to the wonderful staff at The Lunar .

Not bad but not great.

Overall, a good monthlong stay at Lunar. Customer service is good; the staff is friendly and will try accommodating you the best they can. Young staff but proactive. WiFi was TERRIBLE. I was in a corner room, which ended up being a dead signal space. They need to add additional routers for better and uninterrupted service. (I often had to use the wifi of the hotel next door.) Everywhere else in the hotel, the WiFi was great! Housekeeping is good but inconsistent. There's always something missing or not done. For example, one time, most everything was done but they didn't restock the coffee and water. Another time, they forgot the pillows. Another, they did everything else but forgot to provide clean cups/glasses. One housekeeper made the bed great, but the other didn't seem to know how to put on a comforter. Very inconsistent. In-room dining has reasonable options that are priced okay, but why do that when there are eateries EVERYWHERE? And no late night service (ends at 21:30). Airport taxi on my arrival was reasonably priced (about $20), but on the return they wanted to charge 1200 THB (~$32). (I hired a taxi online for my return; cost less than $20.) There is a charge for overnight guests but they didn't seem to enforce it (for me, at least). Summary: Good hotel that could use some TLC and better management/organization, but I'd stay again in a pinch.

This is an ok place to stay. No partuclar issues but I’d look to stay someplace else next time :-)

Great location and not far from the beach.

Definitely a place to stay the room with direct pool access recommend and shared pool only 6 rooms total and staff no issues communicating was good and airport pick up and drop back to airport on time no issues

Significant mould all through the room on the walls, couch and especially the bathroom. Its a shame because its quite a nice room otherwise. The customer service is below average, when checking in the lady who was serving me just stopped to start serving someone else mid conversation with me without even acknowledging the issue. We tried to use their in room service but couldnt get them to respond or answer the phone, bathroom was not cleaned upon arrival (no toilet paper stocked and the bin still full from the previous person) overall pretty poor experience as there was no urgency to rectify these issues

Good location if you’re wanting to have some distance from the hustle and bustle of Bangla Rd - approx 15 minute walk. The hotel is quite beautiful with a gorgeous pool. The staff were all absolutely amazing, so attentive, kind and answered any of our silly questions. The rooms are decent with really good beds although there is a sewerage scent that comes and goes but if you keep your toilet lid down, it’s mostly okay. Family friendly and affordable, would recommend.

Lovely pool and rooms. Near enough to everything to walk but far enough to not be noisy dispite being on a main road

Loved everything about our stay here! The rooms were clean with good view, the pool was nice for relaxing and all the staff were kind and helpful! Resort is on patong beach so not really close to big attractions but perfect for relaxing on the beach and night life.

I really loved the quick answers from the staff and they resolved problems quickly.

Amazing hotel. Booked it for my last night. Wish I would’ve booked it sooner. Staff are friendly and so professional. Rooms are excellent. And you’re getting way more than you paid for

Hotelli oli pettymys eikä vastaa tasoltaan neljän tähden hotellia. Huoneita ei oltu siivottu kunnolla; lattiat olivat likaiset, peilit ja suihkuseinät pyyhkimättä sekä huoneessa sisällä oli kärpäsiä. Ovilukitus oli erittäin kovaääninen - mikäli jätit hetkeksikään huoneen oven auki, kovaääniset hälytykset lähtivät heti hälyttämään. Ääni kuului selkeästi muihin huoneisiin, jopa yöaikaan. Aamupala oli vaatimaton.

L’hôtel Lunar est très bien situé, à quelques minutes de tous les centres d’activités de Patong. Je recommande cet hôtel, il a un excellent rapport qualité prix.

En liten perle av ett hotell i Patong for budsjett pris. Ja det er noen år, og det kan sees her og der. Men ikke noe som gjorde oppholdet dårlig. Vi likte oss veldig godt, og var veldig fornøyd med hotellet, ansatte og renhold. Sengene var myke og gode, lite bråk rundt hotellet på kvelden tross mange turister. Fint basseng, store rom og fint bad. Vi hadde balkong med basseng utsikt. Fikk til og med gratis oppgradering, da vi egentlig skulle hatt utsikt mot byen. De ansatte pratet bra engelsk og var hjelpsomme når vi spurte om noe. Vi spiste ikke frokost på hotellet, så den vet jeg ikke noe om. Men vi bestilte pizza, som var veldig god. Kommer garantert til og booke rom her igjen. Følte vi fikk veldig mye for pengene. Hotellet lå også sentralt til, med gå avstand til alt og nok av transport muligheter rett på utsiden. Alt i alt, ett flott opphold på ett flott hotell som tok godt vare på gjestene sine.

パトン観光、アイランドホッピングツアーの拠点として利用しました。 ビーチや繁華街までも歩いて行けますが、少し距離があります。 プールも覗きましたが、入ってる人はおらず、日当たりもよくなかったので、リゾートホテルとしてホテルでのんびり過ごすには不十分かと思います。 スタッフもスタッフによって言っていることが違ったりして？？となることがありました。 ただ値段を考えると、施設、立地、スタッフの対応など、妥当かなと思います。

Very bad experience. The hotel is dirty and falling apart everywhere. It is very poorly maintained. The staff are really terrible - unfriendly and unhelpful. It took me 25 minutes to check out because I had to wait for them to refund my deposit. They only accept a passport or cash for the deposit, which is unacceptable. I wanted to use a credit card like most normal hotels, where they would just hold an amount on my card. This made my experience even more unpleasant. But the worst part is the room itself, which is very damp, smells of moisture, and is not clean. I had to ask to have the sheets changed because they were dirty. This hotel should be avoided. Apart from its location, there’s nothing appealing about it. No sunshine, a terrible view, and very poor, old quality bedding. Definitely a hotel to avoid.

Body soup was runout the first day, the second day, and the final day, We bought it instead but it is a kind of sign showing but hospitality, Additionally some of outlets off electricity did not work. I had to make hot water at bedside.

Ok hotel. Morgenmaden var dog lidt kedelig. Toilettet stopper til, hvis der bare kommer et lille stykke papir i. Der var ikke håndsæbe på toilettet. Personalet var flere timer om at fikse toillettet

I would give 4.5 out of 5 starts for this hotel, but some of the previous revews (esp. on Google) were a bit harsh, so i give 5 stars. Reviews mention problems with staff - cannot confirm, the staff is lovely and kind, they do their best to be quick even when it's getting busy. Forget the breakfast, it's true that it's not worth it. And it's true the bathrooms could need a little upgrade, it's not bad though, but the management could easily improve with some small investments (fix the mirror frame, replace the old rusty bins, renovate the joints in the shower). The rest is perfect, it's very clean, the rooms beautiful, comfy bed. Would definitively recommend!

Hotel bien situé. Bin rapport qualité prix. Ne pas prendre de petit déjeuner il est plus que médiocre. La litterie sent l’humidité et la transpiration dès notre arrivée en chambre quel horreur notamment couvre lit…

We booked deluxe room for two but we get upgraded to a suite room free of charge. That was awsome. Thank you for that. We were sick whole the stay so we stayed in our room most of the time. Getting a suite with jacuzzi made me feel very comfortable. The hotel was clean, room was very nice and big. Staff are friendly and keep smiling.

Good service and cleaning, but it seems more like a 3-star hotel and the walls were not soundproof so you could hear a lot from the other rooms
