Second stay. Very nice

A little piece of heaven..

Was here for 2 nights,, should have stayed longer, right on the beach. It's not Pattaya, but is only 30minutes drive south.. lovely rooms, lovely food, lovely staff, perfect place to relax and recharge. The hotel is modern with a lift (thank god) as I was on the 5th floor. Breakfast isn't included, but is not expensive, the lunch and dinner menu has a large selection, all the food I had here was good.

The bar is nice. As a beach bar should be. I stayed at another hotel nearby and Lord Nelson was better in almost every category.

3 night solo trip out of 28

This hotel is located in a quiet area 50kms south of pattaya you will probably need a rental car to get here or a 2000 Thai baht taxi ride from the airport. My room was a seaview one and the view in the morning was fantastic. There is a small beach between the rear of the hotel and the sea. My room was spotless and the wifi was strong and reliable. This hotel is owned by a retired uk navy captain hence its name. If my travels have me in the vicinity again then this hotel will be my first choice. Well done.

I have stayed twice at Lord Nelson, love the quiet location and generally get to have the beach to yourself. There is several nice dining options close by including a fantastic fresh seafood restaurant & the hotel restaurant has good menu of European and Thai dishes. A great location to unwind and de-stress. Only negative is the difficulty getting transport out of Bang Chan, its expensive and cant be booked through apps such as Grab.

The stay was very relaxing. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are excellent.

5 days with Lord Nelson

A lovely small run hotel right on the beach. Ideal for a quiet relaxing few days. The sea view from our balcony was great for watching the waves come in and out. My only real criticism was the size of the bed and bathroom. Both on the small size .Overall a great 5 days.

Providing a Thai breakfast option was good. Rather than the usual western style meal. Breakfast service was good. Person at check in didn’t appear very knowledgeable or organised Bathroom not particularly clean Cracks in the doors allowing people to see into the room. Room fridge very noisy

Well worth it for the sea view from the room. No beach facilities to speak of. Not commercialized. Bar and food area right on beach a few steps down. Pool is small and hard to use while people are eating. Best to have a car as no local transport available and nowhere to go close by anyway except RomSon sea food on the beach the road. Shower very small. Room is adequate. Breakfast was included and made to order. No bad. Very good service.

Great view, nice beach. Great staff. In a quiet location with a few local restaurants and close supermarket.

Relaxing stay at a great price.

Hotel is clean, peaceful,with friendly staff. Parking is only 6 spaces the rest is roadside. Ocean view room highly recommended . Really a nice stay at a great price!

Very good 4 night stay in sea view room

Overall very good stay. Checkin was quick -- staff are friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and had a nice sea view. Breakfast was good. There are a number of restaurants/bars and stores in the area but you will need a car or scooter to explore the area. No English TV channels but has very good Wifi. Beach in front of the hotel is kept clean.

Nice hotel in lovely village. I stay for Thai Airways Half Marathon. This is the nice place to go this marathon.

LOVED this place! Great beachfront location, wonderful ownership and friendly, helpful staff. Food in restaurant was amazing. Beautiful little pool right at the edge of the beach was wonderful. Bed was comfortable. AC works very well in each room. Fun little open-air bar. Never even turned on TV.

Cozy place

Two night stay was pretty good. Only complaint is water very low in shower room, take awhile to finish showering.Friendly staff, Nice location by the beach. BF was just o k.. Yes,we will visit again Thank you!

Great hotel in quiet location.

Our stay was great as usual, they have the most friendly well trained staff i have experienced anywhere in Thailand and speak very good english. The hotel is very clean as is the beach in front of the hotel the hotel staff clean the beach every morning. There are a few bars and restaurants just down the road Phala beach bar is a good little bar with good food for a change.

A victory for the Lord Nelson

After a week on Koh Samed, I needed a quiet, place to stay, and thankfully the Lord Nelson provided that. The room we had overlooked the sea, and I found it very relaxing hearing the waves crashing on the shore I also found it very interesting, because everywhere you look it has historical items, relating to Lord Nelson.

Lovely for a relaxing break.

We had a great stay ,Stayed for 3 nights.The staff are as good as you will ever get they where great, the hotel is very clean in every part rooms Toilets the kitchen etc. the breakfast is good but not consistent one day a big plate full with fruit ect the next no fruit and very small plate, our evening dinners where just ok.The beach at the back is nice and clean, There is not much else around so you will need a car, there is a little bar at pier on the right side very friendly and good food.There are also good beaches down near the navy base called by locals 20THB beach.Great to sit and relax and eat there all day

Ett jätte fint hotell på fel plats. Dyr mat frukost lunch middag. Saknar buffé frukost kunde ingå i priset. Helt dött utanför. Stranden är ett skämt smal med miljoner sopor. En sopstation alltså. Men går man ut från hotellet till vänster några hundra meter. Möts man av det genuina Thailand. Billig o god mat från små hål i väggen. Varaner i floden.Små affärer Trevligt enkelt o gemytligt som det skall vara i den här delen av Thailand

Ok rum. Hade balkong med havsutsikt. Liten strand som inte gick att vara på varje dag eftersom vattnet ibland gick upp för högt. Poolen ligger mitt i restaurangen så den känns lite märklig att nyttja. Bra mat i restaurangen. Priserna i menyn missvisande eftersom det läggs på 17 procent (service +skatt) på notan.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Lage ist top und lädt zum entspannen ein. Das Essen ist von einer sehr guten Qualität und schmeckt hervorragend. Die Preise für Essen und Trinken sind für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie angemessen günstig. Super Hotel mit einer tollen Aussicht. Wir kommen wieder…

เงียบสงบพนักงานบริการดีแต่น้ำอาบน้ำไหลเบาไปครับ

ทำเลดีติดทะเล แต่บริเวณรอบๆโรงแรมไม่ค่อยสะอาดเท่าไหร่นะค่ะ ไม่มีที่ให้เดินเล่นคะ โรงแรมสะอาด พนักงานบริการดีคะ

พักห้อง#305, twin bed with ocean view สามารถมองเห็นชายหาดจากห้องพัก ชอบมุมวิวแต่ชายหาดไม่สะอาด และมีเถ้าบุหรีทิ้งอยู่บนเก้าอี้/โต๊ะที่อยู่ที่ระเบียง ห้องอาบนำ้แคบมาก+ ข้างฝายังเห็นเป็บคราบที่ไม่ได้ทำความสะอาด+ นำ้ท่วมพื้นทุกครั้งขณะอาบนำ้เพราะท่อระบายทำงานไม่คล่อง แผนกต้อนรับอัธยาศัยดี แผนกทำความสะอาดโดยเฉพาะวันที่2 ที่ต้องขึ้นมาทำความสะอาดซำ้ในตอนเย็นวันเดียวกันเพราะไม่ได้เปลี่ยนผ้าปูเตียงให้ซึ่งบอกไว้แล้วกับ front deskก่อนออกไปเช้าวันนั้น ว่ารู้สึกคันจากนอนคืนแรก กลับมาตอนเย็นเจอผ้าปูที่นอนไม่ได้ดึงให้ตึงแม้ไม่เปลี่ยนให้ แถมผ้าวางพื้นในห้องนำ้ยู่ยี่เป็นผืนเก่าวางไว้ แก้วกาแฟก็ไม่ได้ทำความสะอาดหรือเปลี่ยนชุดใหม่วางไว้ให้ คนทำความสะอาดห้องยังเถียงบอกว่าปกติจะไม่เปลี่ยนให้ทุกวัน และพาสามีที่แนะนำว่าเป็นน้องชายเจ้าของขึ้นมาที่ห้องด้วย เพื่อเหตุผลอะไร กัน อาหารให้สั่งเป็นจาน อาหารธรรมดาเกินไปสำหรับราคาค่าห้องที่จ่าย ขอแตงโมจานที่สองพนักงานบอกว่าหมดแล้วเพราะเอาไปปั่นให้ลูกค้าอีกโต๊ะ( มีผลไม้แค่อย่างเดียว) ความสะอาดของที่พักน่าเป็นห่วงหลังจากเห็นกับตาในวันที่สองนั้นคงจะไม่แนะนำให้กับใครได้

พักห้องวิวทะเล นอนฟังเสียงคลื่นหลับสบาย คืนวันเสาร์มีดนตรีสดนั่งฟังจากระเบียงห้องได้เลย อาหารเช้ารสชาติดี ที่ตั้งโรงแรมอยู่ไม่ไกลย่านชุมชน ยังสัมผัสวิถีชุมชนในแบบดั้งเดิมได้ มีร้านสะดวกซื้ออยู่ใกล้ ๆ ถ้าเพิ่มที่จอดรถบริเวณหน้าโรงแรมได้อีกนิดจะดีมาก ๆ

ห้องพักสะอาดใหม่ ถึงแม้จะมีขนาดเล็ก แต่ ไม่คับแคบมาก ชอบห้องพัก ที่มีวิว ทะเลทุกห้อง มีดนตรีตอนเย็น แต่อาหาร แพงไปนิด เมื่อเทียบกับโรงแรม 4 ดาว และ มีค่าเปิดขวดด้วย ซึ่งเทียบกับ Purimas Hotel ซึ่งเป็น โรงแรม 4 ดาว ไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายเหล่านี้้ เจ้าของร้านดูแลเอง อัธยาศัยดี มีความสะดวกในการเดินทาง

ที่พักวิวสวย พนักงานน่ารัก อาหารแพงไปนิดสำหรับคนไทย แต่โดยรวมถือว่าประทับใจมากค่ะ ครั้งหน้าไปอีกแน่นอน

ที่พักไม่สมกับราคาที่จ่ายไป เตียงเล็ก ห้องแคบ ถ้าเปรียบเทียบกับสถานที่อื่นในราคานี้ อาหารเช้าก็น้อยเกินไป

服務熱情，看日出好地方

接待員和餐廳人員都很熱情，餐廳食物不錯，旁邊就是海灘，早上看日出很棒！不過沿室水壓低和不是乾濕分離，以及飯店較偏僻，附近沒甚麼店舖和餐廳

Die Unterkunft ist fern ab von Restaurants. Man benötigt mindestens einen Roller um in die Stadt zu kommen. Auch die Anreise ist nur mit Taxi möglich von der Stadt aus. Der Phala Strand vor dem Hotel ist zugemüllt mit Plastik u. diversem Müll. Dieser wird nur direkt vor dem Hotel am späteren Vormittag vom Personal entmüllt. Es sind nur wenig Liegestühle, 4 am Pool u. 6 am Strand vorhanden. Pool sehr klein. Frühstück fällt leider eher bescheiden aus, da kein Buffet. Speisen à la card generell überteuert. Als Alleinreisende ist der Zimmerpreis zu teuer für das, was geboten wird. Schade.

โดยรวมถือว่าดีค่ะ ติดหาด อาหารเช้ามีให้เลือกเยอะ ห้องพักสะอาดดี เตียงนุ่ม นอนสบาย แต่แอร์ไม่ค่อยเย็น แขกที่มาพักส่วนมากเป็นฝรั่ง

Ett väldigt trevlig hotell dock väldigt offside.Långt till allt och inte mer än en till 2 restauranger i närheten. Det var bara på hotellet man kunde få en coctail. De andra serverade bara öl. Inte alltid säkert att de hade öppet heller. Stranden var under all kritik.

Nice Hotel

Nice and welcoming Hotel. Location is ok, not much to do around, but a good Hotel to relax. Staff are very friendly and food is a good mix of Western and Asian Food. Rooms are clean.

Topp hotel.

Topp hotel med fin beliggenhet. Rent og god standard. Kjempetrivelig betjening. Sakla absolutt tilbake hit senere.

Hotellet ok . Stranden helt värdelös . Skräpigt och fullt av ilskna hundar över hela stand remsan. Till och med stranden i Pattaya är bättre. Vi är mycket besvikna.

Don't expect much as its not a very big hotel, however decent sized rooms, good range of breakfast, staff are extremely helpful and friendly, compared to other big hotels I have stayed in the past. I have noticed with other big hotels you don't get the same service as you would do with a small/medium sized hotel. When i stayed here i felt very relaxed and comfortable in another words it felt like home. The rooms & the premises are always cleaned and maintained. The only down side is that there is very limited parking spaces. This is because the hotel is situated right on the beach and next to the main road.
