Good just too much construction work in Hotel

I loved my stay at the Lokha, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are older and could do with a revamp however they were very clean, large and the balconies all overlooked the pool. I’d definitely stay again, great value for money and excellent location.

The central location was great but very noisy bars and construction. Foggy twice a week at 6am was extremely noisy. The staff were excellent and the food was very good.

Came for a girls weekend (child-free), which was perfect because this wasn't a 'family' hotel, no kids about. I'm a good sleeper, so wasn't bothered by surrounding noise, but be aware that the pub across the street plays loudly til late. Fantastic live music though and great to watch from across the street in the hotel bar/restaurant. Gorgeous massage packages on offer. However, the spa/ massage rooms are next to the pool so when they are playing music or people enjoying themselves after a few cocktails, it was very difficult to relax into it, I couldn't hear the relaxation music. Some sound-proofing would be a good idea! Otherwise, amazing people, and overheard regulars booking here year after year. Good location, short walk to beach and many great spas, stalls (good fixed-price ones), and quality restaurants. Safe ATM down the street and money exchange places.

Well located in legian but loud music played by the pool bar staff was a dustraction. No Limited variety on breakfast buffet

If are looking to relax this is not the place to stay, loud music, kids loud, and the street noise come straight through the hotel room are old run down. We left 3 days early in which we paid for did ask for refund for only the days we didn’t use. Where completely unreasonable and refused to refund anything Dont be fooled by the photos

We would call this a rustic hotel,very ‘tired’ needs renovation,bathroom-grout mouldy tiles cracked Breakfast average,egg chef was good but other food was not great. Staff were lovely and tried very hard. Pool had very little if you like a rather bogan hotel with a Karaoke over the road til late every night definitely the place for you!

The staff were very friendly and it was nice and clean. We did not like how noisy it during the day and at night with the bar across the road, however the overall experience was good and food was lovely.

The Lokha Hotel has always been one of our favourites We love the Balinese decor, the pool, the swim up bar. The rooms are a good size & the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom has a bath & the upstairs rooms have balconies. Delicious buffet breakfasts. The spa & massage treatments are fabulous & well priced. I loved my facial! The hotel is close to the beach, good restaurants & shopping. Right near Garlic Lane. We love staying here, the Staff are warm & welcoming.

Always a go to for many years. So convenient to garlic lane, restaurants, shopping, spas. Older hotel, but has been freshened up. Clean bedding, spacious rooms, good wifi and aircon. Breakfast included. Staff always want to do anything to help you. Value.for money everytime.

Good price, friendly staff, great shopping area

Staying at the Lokha Resort is so easy. Its like a family. The Boutique resort is perfect if you dont like big resort crowds. Staff are friendly and always remember you from prior visits. I would recommend staying here if you want convenience of everything at your fingertips.

Very friendly place to stay nice rooms

We didn't like the shower in the bath if you were elderly you may have slipped. We loved the food staff and service was excellent massages were awesome pool was divine

The Lokha was very convenient & only a short walk to the beach. If you like to shop around this is the place to stay. The hotel is smaller than some but has everything you need.

Thi hotel is a bit older but makes up for it with lovely staff…nice pool with swim up bar..rooms clean and spacious ….the breakfast is great has everything you need…close to food and shopping not far to the beach

The Lokha was really good value for money and we would definitely stay again. The pool and the staff were the standouts.

Location - Service & Staff

Location is great for dining options, shopping and the beach. Pool was nice and had a swim up bar. Buffet breakfast was sufficient. Rooms always clean and had what is needed. Spa was great for massages. Staff are lovely. Would stay again.

We liked the transfers from airport were easy and hassle free check in.

This was my 3rd stay at the Lokha and while i cant fault the staff or facilities the noise from the pub across the road from the hotel was unbeatable. Every night until around 1am a live rock band plays and while im a huge fan of music, the volume at which they played made it impossible to get a good nights sleep. Imagine AC/DC on steroids . After long days of walking and touring/ sight seeing the last thing you need is to not be able to get a peaceful nights rest. This is the only reason i will choose alternative accommodation next time well away from a live venue. Our air con also leaked overnight like a small waterfall however it had been going for 7 days straight.

The staff at Lokha are for the most part fantastic. Swim up bar at the pool is great to chill at. Facilities are a little run down, but as i haven't been to Bali for 25 years I'm not sure how they compare with others in the area. Short walk to the beach, and can head either direction along the boardwalk.

The day spa staff were fantastic, i had amazing massages and a facial. Service at the pool bar was a little slow though with only 1 staff member.

Have stayed here many times, love the location and the staff are friendly and helpful, the only negative would be the lift not working and having to trudge up two flights of stairs whenever you leave your room, got a bit annoying. But overall, I love this place.

Room was very worn and felt very empty and not very clean corridors were scary as I was a single female traveler just didn’t feel safe breakfast wasn’t very nice staff are friendly too many stairs to get to room also no elevator loud noise coming from band at club across the road only stayed from 1am till 11am had to go to another hotel

We have stayed at the Lokha many times we mostly go back because the staff can not do enough for you . The atmosphere in the hotel makes for a great holiday We will definitely be back

Our second stay at The Lokha. Great location and bearing in mind they are running at half staff having only reopened recently couldn't fault anything.

The Lokha hotel was a great find. The staff were just amazing and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area was great for afternoon drinks and a swim. Lots of eating and drinking choices only minutes away. Will be booking here again when next in Bali.

Property could do with a face lift. Condition of bathroom not that good. Quality of coffee supplied in rooms poor quality and fresh milk would be better than powdered.

Perfect place to stay, location is great and every room is overlooking the pool. A smaller place so everything is close in the hotel. Parking for our scooter was just out the front. Breakfast was yummy and price was excellent to stay here. Would return. Staff also friendly and helpful.

The property is an excellent value for money property. Would definitely stay there again. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel and hotel grounds clean, neat, tidy and well maintained. Lots of good restaurants, money changers and convenience stores in local vicinity. Hotel does need more lounges or bean bags around the pool and the bar across the road is a bit loud at night, but all in all a great holiday 8 out of 10.

We have stayed here before Covid and were really happy with the locality and the amenities. The staff are gorgeous and helpful. This last trip ,we noticed the property had deteriorated somewhat and definitely needs a bit of TLC. But considering it was closed during Covid, it’s understandable.

The staff are wonderful and helpful. The property is in need of a good makeover. The bathroom felt very unclean. The bed sheets were not as clean as I would like. Many who have a low standard will really love this place. It is in the best location though

The hotel is beautiful, close to everything, clean. The staff are beyond helpful!!!! Nothing is too much effort. Transport is excellent and close by. Food is excellent, best pizza!!! People you meet in hotel are great. Happy hour in pool side bar is amazing. Feels like home!!!!

This is a small resort in the centre of Legian's restaurant strip. The resort is an older resort but it was very comfortable and the staff were wonderful. We had a Deluxe room which was large. The bathroom was dated, with the shower in the bath. The special pool access rooms are amazing. Well worth the extra money. Loved my stay.

The people can't be more friendly or helpful. Food terrific. Older grounds but kept clean an tidy. Very noisy at night due to band across the road. Supplying ear plugs could solve this.

Great location

I found the Lokha Hotel a nice hotel. We found the mattress on the bed to be very firm and uncomfortable. The breakfast was always cold, no matter what time you went, unless you order from the chef. There was no tv in the pool area, they provided one on the last day for the AFL grand final.

In a Great location, friendly and helpful staff, good price very family friendly the spa is also really good.

We like these Balinese smaller complex hotels. 60 rooms. A pool that is not blocked out by the sun. Big enough for all guests. Good swim up bar. Great Spa for massages. We booked 4 rooms. Air cons daiken quiet and cold. Always make friends there. Then on great road for resturaunts. Fat Bowl, Moo Moo, Rama Garden, Asian Spice, Padma Japanese night, Azul. Massages, Garlic Lane. And Y bar for sports.

This hotel was amazing and we could not fault it. Staff were very friendly and always available for anything you needed.We were upgraded to the family room, which did face over the pool but instead over the street, which we actually liked. The room was huge, so for the four of us we weren't on top of each other. The breaky was a basic selection but had everything you needed from cereals to pastries to bacon and eggs and the best pancakes I've had in bali. we loved this hotel so much that my aunt has booked again for October. This will be our choice of hotels from now on. Thank you for amazing stay.

Friendly staff, great location. Comfortable beds, large rooms, balcony. Bathroom has large bath but the water pressure in the shower is terrible. Awesome food.

Loved the location. Staff were super friendly. The deluxe room we had was very clean & cleaned daily. Pool area is great for hotel size & the happy meal deals are great for days lazing by the pool. Breakfast was good & pizzas are awesome. Overall a great stay & would definitely recommend.

You get what you pay for

Tired, could be cleaner and towels need renewed, last one I had was falling apart. The hotel provided the basics - wasn’t expensive - staff and position are excellent. No complaints there. Brekkie wouldn’t win any awards, but omelettes made freish - bananas would be nice to have provided in fruit section though to have with pancakes. Bed comfy enough and clean.

I really like the staff which are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Also the pool bar is great for meeting fellow travellers.

The service at the pool bar through happy hour was poor they only had one staff member making drinks so sometimes waiting 20 mi s for drinks. The spa service was terrible, probably the worst massage I have had in Bali. The spa room was near the pool so you could hear the pool music and people talking not relaxing at all. The location is great. The buffet breakfast was average.

Clean hotel friendly people helpful staff clean pool and dining room room service

Hotel very old and dated, pillows old with yellow stains and smelly, pool towels dirty and smelly, breakfast poor very little choice. Rats running in and out of kitchen and around pool area.

-Great location -Terrible breakfast ... the small choice of food that is there should be way better -Dirty bathrooms and bedrooms -really dirty floor on stairs and corridors -safes didnt work -Staff are so slow bar staff take ages to make a drink -blenders and glasses at pool bar have mould in them and dirt -plates from room service are left on floor for hours -reception doesnt take your credit card details when you checkin so evertime you order something they are constantly chasing you to pay or sign the bill -Kids found heaps of trash on pool bottom... nails, bobby pins, sprinkler head... -Rats running around garden outside near pool and bottom rooms Everything needs a good scrub and staff need to be more on the ball then this place would be heaps better as the location is great.

Great hotel in great location which is handy to shopping, new restaurants and the beach for sunset drinks. Hotel staff are fabulous. Pool bar is awesome for making new friends. The breakfast is just average but wasn’t expecting a gourmet. It was enough to get you started. We had a great experience

Great location, quiet clean room with bath and balcony. Restaurant has great food. Lots of shops and restaurants close by and the beach is a 3 minute walk. I will definitely come back.

Our 3rd stay at this enjoyable smallish resort,could not ask for anything more. Staff,facilities and location are excellent

My wife and myself were very sad to leave at the end of our holiday. From day 1 we were treated not as customers but as friends and nothing we asked for was too much. The staff all made the effort to remember our names and were always interested to hear what we had done each day. Both my wife and myself have decided that we will be going back to Bali next year and that we will stay at the Lokha because our holiday was made so enjoyable by a great hotel with fantastic staff. I have no problems recommending this hotel as a great place to stay.
