Fabulous Hotel

Great Hotel, Very Clean All Round. Rooms Are Comfortable And Have Everything You Need. Lots Of People Use As Overnight Stay, However I Booked 14 Nights And Would Do Again Instantly. Reception Fantastic, Cleaners Out Of This World. Young Girl In Cafe Lovely 🌹. I Will Visit Again For Sure.

Excellent staff service and special thanks to Ms. Phatthasa as she let us check-in 1 hour earlier as well as another staff (Regretfully I don't know her name, as we forgot a mobile phone in a taxi (we didn't use the taxi application when ordering and got a free taxi from shopping area) and she helped us in contacting the driver (None English speaker) until we got it back same day). Overall very convenient hotel for families as price is much way cheaper than city centre hotels. WiFi is excellent and staff are very friendly and helpful. 7 eleven is only 2 mins far from hotel with few local places to eat. Hotel is a bit far from city center (approx 40 mins without traffic) so you would need to pay approx. 200.00 Bhat for one way as there is no train nearby. Otherwise it depends what kind of activities you plan in your trip as there are good night markets not far from hotel as well the area around "The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan" is really nice and cool. Just keep in mind when booking a taxi via application is that "Bolt" is cheaper that "Grab" as usually taxi drivers don't use the taximeter and you need to negotiate the price.

Nice and clean hotel, suitable for families.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is a little bit old and far from the city but very clean. Suitable for families with younger children. Hotel has a functional gym and restaurant. Washing machine available for a fee of 30baht, dryer 10 baht per cycle. You may need multiple cycles for your cloths to dry. We booked two 2-bedroom apartments and the hotel staff were flexible with placing the rooms close enough to each other. The rooms we stayed in had no cooktops but we had microwave ovens. Walking distance from a big 7Eleven and another store. We had a generally pleasant experience.

The property is located at a very quite and clean area. I was told by a taxi driver that a jail is located nearby! Everything at the property is simple and not complicated. Very good indeed.

Hotel is in a nice peaceful residential location. Though not in the city centre, the serenity is commendable. Area is clean, and the in-hotel cafe serves pretty good food!

Overall really nice hotel! Only compliant is that it’s kind of far from public transport

Wxcellent room and staff

This is a great, quiet property. The neighborhood is quiet and the closest mall is M Lifestore Mall which is about a 9 min ride. Tops Daily and 7-11 on the corner a walk away. Wifi needs to be reset around every 24 hours but it works.

This is a very nice hotel with a country side environment. You are in a neighborhood that is very quiet. Tops Daily and 7-11 walkable distance at the corner of the street. Wifi works but you have to get it refreshed downstairs sometimes with a new password, but not all the time. Laptop stays connected but phones go in and out of wifi login. Rooms are good size and aircon is great. Cafe downstairs in lobby is cheap and tastes pretty decent.

We had the 2 bedroom (2 king) plus 2 bathroom. Very spacious and comfortable. Beds are big, living area and small kitchen with microwave and fridge and kettle. The staff were super friendly. Well maintained property. Clean throughout. Bonus was washer and dryer in the garage w coin to use. Used grab app to get rides to places we wanted to visit. Nearby 7-11 and cute bubble tea shop just a few mins walk. On the way cafe was perfect for coffees and cold drinks. They offered food too but we did not tr. Would definitely stay again.

I've stayed here many times, the rooms are excellent especially the two bedroom with bunk beds for kids. Restaurant downstairs as well as circle k nearby and burger place among others. Great location covered parking

Nice and quiet

We arrived at the property at 1:15 and attempted to check in. The staff was not friendly and told us to come back at 2 to check in. We asked if we could give our information now, get all the paperwork ready and return in 45 minutes to just get a key to go up to our room. The one girl was rude and said no, another just glared at us. The third girl with glasses was nice trying to make up for the what appeared to be senior staff being rude to us. So, we walked around for 45 min, returned, did the check in process and was never greeted with a smile. The beds were hard. If you like them hard, it's for you. The maid staff was excellent and very nice. The family room 2 bedrrom was spacious and accommodating. 3 air conditioners with 2 remotes. The remotes were compatible with the AC units so it worked to. The gym used to have 2 good treadmills. Now, there were 2 cheap elliptical machines, but one did not work because it needed a new battery to run the cheap display. Overall, it was a low cost, pretty good stay except for 2 of the staff that were not friendly to us our entire stay. Not sure why, but some old fashioned welcome hospitality and a smile would have upped my rating to 4 out of 5.

Great boutique hotel near the Don Muang airport. We arrived very late and had no problem checking in or finding our room. We took a cab from the taxi room at the airport. The person who assigns the taxi wrote down the address but then our driver put it in his phone so he had no problem finding the hotel. There are two small buildings, enter the one on the left as you are looking at it. The hotel is newer, extremely clean and quaint. We felt like we walked into an Ikea showroom. Our room had a mini kitchen and two bedrooms small living room. Nicely decorated breakfast room. The location is in an office park type area but on a side street across from apartments. There is a big golf course and club adjacent. It took about 20 min there and back due to train construction. The cost was about $6 for the cab. Great hotel near the airport.

It was a quiet clean place. There was two entry and the one before the water fountain was the one we had to go to but otherwise it was not too bad to get to once you found your way to the hotel.

Great value. Very clean and comfortable. Family suite was spacious and would work well even for long stays.

Nice newer property, but already signs of wear in the rooms. Many need a new paint job inside. Beds are pretty comfortable, air condition worked fine.

A longtime favorite

Love it here! Super convenient and quiet! While it takes about 20 minutes from DMK airport due to roadworks, the trip to DMK is less than 10 minutes!

We arrived after midnight flight only to be told that our family room was “accidentally” given to some one esle. They split our family up into two rooms located in different buildings. Refused to compensate. Would never stay again at this hotel.

Clean and spacious however is far away from downtown.

Good value for money but hard to get there

(Family of 4) We were thinking it doesn't worse to pay the high price of Amari hotel for just a "stay and fly" and selected that hotel because of good reviews and close location from DMK airport. Bad news first: this place is so hard to find for taxi drivers. 3 experiences to get to the Journey hotel from DMK airport and always such a hassle, taxi driver trying to get more money than originally announced, last driver even scaring... (can't put that on the hotel's fault though). Anyway, make sure to get the exact location of the hotel and download the google map to use it offline. That being said, staff is friendly and can speak English. The check-in/out is done in less than 5 min. They have very early shuttle bus to airport (not from airport). Also, it seems that the area has some good bars which I haven't tried due to lack of time. Room is cleaned, quite new but no amenities.

Cheap stopover, hard to find the location

Got to pay higher taxi fee than initially announced because the taxi driver couldn’t find the place. And I must say, it’s really in the middle of nowhere... But staff is friendly and the room was large enough for 4. No amenities, nothing fancy but cheap.

Everything was good. Short overnight stay between flights at DMK. Would stay again.

Enjoyable Stay

I really enjoyed my stay at Rainboots Guesthouse. We only stayed one evening - in order to catch a flight at Incheon (it’s a perfect location from the airport) but it was perfect for our needs. The only comment I have is that on the website it stated having an 11am check-out time but the owner said it was 10:30am. That was a bit of a hassle but that’s all.

Very quiet room in a back street of northern Bangkok. Hotel offers morning transfers to Don maung airport for 100 bhat. A good place for a quick stop over. Room basic but bed comfortable. Only downside was a slightly noisy full size fridge in the main room which I switched off.

Consistently clean and comfortable

This is my third stay at The Journey as I frequently have business in this area. I have found the hotel to be consistently clean and comfortable and at an excellent rate! I recommend it without hesitation.

basic very clean room near the airport.

Good deal. No frills. Simple and clean. Best option for needing something quick by the airport. Only downside is poor wifi, no one at the front desk to answer at night. Shuttle offered in the morning from 4am -7am for $100baht per person. There are some bars and eateries available late night that are walkable.

Clean and simple aesthetic.

Super clean and simple asthetic - really appreciated this. Hotel staff is friendly. Can easily arrange early morning airport shuttle for $100 baht a person.

One night stop over !

Hi value for what you pay yes ! Great if your waiting for a flight from Don Maung airport . Not a lot to do or great choice of eating places around . The price i paid for 3 people you cant complain ! Very clean and spacious room !

Great hotel

Very nice hotel, we booked the family suite for 4 people and it was wonderful, 2 full bathrooms a nice little kitchen area, good size fridge very clean and the bed pillows and linens were comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again

Convenient to airport and big mall

Second stay at Journey. Value is good but gym is limited. Will cost 100 baht for airport shuttle that runs from 4am til 7am on the hour. Probably will make this my regular hotel when I have morning flights from DM airport.

We love this hotel. Clean rooms and nice cotton linens. Beds are a little firm for me, but some people might like them. Great value for the price. Only thing I would add is a pool.. other than that, it’s a perfect hotel.

2 nights stay

we stayed for 2 nights in Journey Hotel, as we arrived late coming from Don Muang and was just planning to spend the next day in Chatuchak. the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and clean. the location is just out of the way, and nothing going on at night in the area. but, overall, good for a few days stay.

Everything was clean and comfy. There was a market nearby but the room didn't have a safe.

A fantastic stay

Great stay at The Journey Hotel - Very modern and clean! The two downsides are: pretty much inaccessible as even my Grab driver had diffculty locating it and REALLY BAD WIFI CONNECTION - I couldn't get any signals from my room!

nice hotel with close proximity to restaurants

Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Really close proximity to restaurants and about 20 minutes away from DMK airport. On the bad side, very far from Bangkok scene, and you will need to use cab from here all the time. New BTS station being built, but its still a fast paced 20 mins walk from here.

One night stay ...was looking for hotel near airport...was further than expected taking about twenty minutes to get there from BKK. Hotel appears new, clean and modern. Comfortable with exception of bed which was hard....so far a repeating theme most of my trip in Thailand. No breakfast available at hotel. There is a family mart within less than block from entrance to hotel. Overall good for one night stay near airport.

1) Near to DMK airport, suitable for Travellers who arrived late or have an early flight on the next day. Is quite far from the Bangkok City. If you take a GrabCar, it might takes around 30mins to reach, depends on the traffic. 2) The room rate is cheap 3) Room is spacious and clean. 4) The lobby is nice!

Quick one night stay

Quick, one night stay to catch a flight at the airport. The hotel was as we expected and possibly better. Staff was polite, rooms and facility were clean, beds were comfortable, bathrooms worked. Kind of a dormitory feel but that's okay, we just needed a place to transition.

1 Night stop over before flying.

The Room was clean and spacious, with fast and stable Wifi. Great for one night stay as the location is ideal as its close to Don Mueang Airport. Staff are very friendly and provided help with taxis and transfers.

Cosy place

It was out of the way, about 30-40mins to Don Muang (if you include traffic). But lots of nice local food and massage places around. The place was clean yet basic. We just stayed for a few hours, so can't comment on the night.

It was great but there's no microwave in the normal room.

Great Airport Hotel

Very convenient to Don Muang Airport. Excellent accommodation and a super price!! Very clean, comfy bed and good shower. Full size fridge, 2 three quarter beds, workspace all one needed for an overnight stay. Close to bars and restaurants, plus a gol course!!

Cute and comfortable

Cute hotel, comfortable, clean modern room. Typical hard Thai bed and the walls are thin so maybe bring earplugs if you a light sleeper. Over all very nice a private in a pretty area of Bangkok.

Hotel impossible to find, even to local taxis

The facilities of the hotel are OK, but the location is really terrible! It is located very, very far from the center, It was impossible to find even for local taxi drivers! We have to stop at least 5 taxis until one took the challenge to try to find this place. Also, the telephone provided in the booking is not working, so it was impossible to call to try to get more directions. Please fix this issue and explain to tourist that the hotel is very, very far from the center of Bangkok...definitely not worth it for a tourist trip.

Great place to stay

The journey hotel was amazing. They upgraded our stay without me having to ask for it and the room we were in was great. Only thing is that the hotel is a little hard to find. The taxi driver there got lost. Otherwise a great place to stay.

A Journey to the City

Aesthetically this hotel is ideal. However it was a journey to get to and from the airport and Bangkok city.

Quiet hotel in a nice neighborhood

We had a flight layover and booked a night at this hotel close to the airport. The hotel was a bit difficult for the taxi driver to find as it's in the smaller street of a neighborhood. However there are signs which guide you to the hotel from the main street. The hotel was quite new and very clean. The design was modern with a white theme and everything was pristine. There were small restaurants on the same block as the hotel and 7-Eleven further down. There are also small local food stalls which served noodles in soup and fried rice/noodles. This is a very nice hotel and I definitely recommend it for a flight layover. The taxi back to the airport was only 10-15 minutes.

Booked a family room (2-bedroom/2-bathroom serviced apartment) for an overnight stay prior to departing DMK Airport. The apartment/hotel was spot on. There is a family mart around the corner & a few wee restaurants nearby. Taxi to DMK airport was around 10-15mins

Nice hotel, not the best location

The hotel is clean. Wifi is strong. It's in a sort of residential area where there's not a lot to do & not many people speak English.

2019年　建物が新しくきれいです。部屋が広くて自宅のようにくつろげます。キッチンがついているので中長期滞在も快適にすごせそうです。 受付の対応も丁寧で、約束を守ってくださいます。
