Excellent value and location, great staff!

The jade is excellent value: on a quiet street around the corner from earls court tube, with everything I needed in my room - clean modern bathroom, fridge, kettle, cups, plate, fork etc, a desk and chair that were comfortable for working at my laptop, free wifi that was sufficiently good quality for work virtual meetings, comfortable bed. There are lots of reasonably priced restaurants nearby, and marks and spencers supermarket to stock the fridge. The staff were very helpful, e.g. when I needed to add an extra night to my stay. Museums and Kensington gardens are 20 mins walk, central London is just a few stops on the tube. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit London.

Conveniently located and affordable, this is perfect for a short term stay for solo travellers that’s within walking distance to the underground tube and countless diverse dining options. I highly recommend!

Perfect stay 10/10

I couldn’t find a hotel I wanted so booked the Jade. What a fab hotel. Great staff, clean and comfortable. Great customer care. I’ll be booking again very soon.

Staff is very helpful. Bathroom was very nice. There is a nice Indian restaurant across the street. Earls court tube station is a 4 min walk away.

Great place

Perfect for short stays

Great reception staff. Good for short stay in London. Perfect for my purpose of daily commute to Covent Garden area. Close to the Underground

Too plain, too compact.

Adequate but possibly overpriced. Well located, and friendly staff, but my single, modernized cookie-cutter room was small, with no place for a suitcase and no hooks or racks in the bathroom for towels. What was promoted as a kitchenette was simply the usual electric kettle, a few dishes, and a mini-fridge that was defective and had to be replaced. Earlier in London, I had stayed in another nearby hotel that had much more charm and cost about 25% less. By comparison, the Jade felt non-descript.

Great value - nice little hotel.

Good location at a great price. No frills, but the receptionist was very welcoming, and the room was comfy, though quite snug. Perfect for a one night stay or if you don’t plan to spend a lot of time in your room.

Good value in a posh area

The cheapest rooms are very small, only really suitable for one adult. Good area nearby to food and groceries and the public transport.

Would not recommend to anyone. Arrived late and was put in a room similar to a dungeon. Below ground, no window, boiling hot. There was a vent in the wall that meant I could hear next doors TV and music. I couldn't wait to get out of it

Great location, friendly staff, rooms very very small, also ac smelled a bit.

The room we were assigned on our first day was horrible. Upon entering the room we immediately noticed trash left behind and peeling pain on the wall. This was reported and a staff removed the trash. Later we observed mold in the bathroom and we asked to be moved to another room we had to wait until the next day. The beds in both rooms were uncomfortable. I will not recommend this hotel.

Unfortunatel

I recently stayed at The Jade and was extremely disappointed. My first encounter with the front desk representative was unpleasant; they were surly and unwelcoming. Things only got worse when I saw cockroaches in the hallway and under the door into my room. The bed felt like it was just box springs without a proper mattress, making it very uncomfortable. Additionally, the lighting fixtures in the room didn’t work. Despite requesting assistance, no one addressed the issue before I checked out hours later. I would not recommend staying here due to the poor service and unsanitary conditions.

Outstanding, I got the double bed which I saw was significantly larger than the smaller single bed room at a reasonably higher price. Room was provided with an AC, microwave, fridge, kettle and its amenities. Spacious restroom, and the room itself was reasonably spacious as well. Best thing is that it was very quiet as it is in a small living area road not facing any highways or junctions so I was not brothered when I was asleep or taking a nap. Hotel is 5 minutes from the nearest metro station. And the area is filled to the brim with restaurants markets and cafes. Can easily recommend.

Lovely one night stay in one of the superior single rooms. I was greeted with a smile by the concierge when checking in and checking out. The room was modern, impeccably clean, and comfortable, and had everything you need within. I definitely recommend the Jade, it was all round avery positive experience.

Despite the Toilet not working and having to use the staff toilet, the room was clean, quiet and spacious.

AMAZING

Such great value. The room was comfortable, clean and had good facilities. The staff were so nice. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller here and in the area. Convenient for getting into central London (Earl’s Court) I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN!

Great value

Great value, clean and spacious room.

Prob good that I only needed one night.

Functional stay, really just needed a bed for the night and this hotel meets the budget and location criteria. Only problems was the room was pretty tired with seemingly worn and dirty walls, patched up furniture and broken shelving. Shower also didn’t work properly as no cold water so you had a 20 second window at the start to wet and wash before the water became scalding. But the linen was clean and tbh, I didn’t need much for that night.

Could be cleaner. The pillow could be better. There’s a lot of sounds of pipes creaking through the night. Other than that, it was a lovely stay. The room was bigger than I was expecting. The staff were very kind. Thanks!

Great hotel

Great location, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Having a microwave and fridge in the room is very welcome indeed.

Pros: very close to a train station, affordable, not far from Central London, has an elevator (not always a guarantee in London), room had an AC unit Cons: room was quite tiny, hallways could use some updating/repairs, pillows were like BRICKS

The location is extremely close to the Underground station Earl's Court. Many shops and cafes nearby, within a 2 minute walking distance, close to Hyde Park and within walkable area of many museums such as National History and Science Museum. The staff was very friendly and the receptionists were cheery and understanding. The room service was constantly refilling the necessary hygene products and items such as shampoos, shower gels, toilet paper etc. Overall had a very nice experience and if I ever come to the decision to visit London again, I'd like to book the same hotel.

Hotel was not flexible on offering a refund when we needed to check out early. Quite disappointing.

then location is excellent and deskmen 24/7 is good also, but my room described as premier single room was so small and the window practically no unexacting it felt very claustrophobic. in need of a good looked after by a handyman as things like toilet seat was not fixed, window curtain falling down walls dirty in room and on stairs carpet worn out ect

Ok place for a night stopover

Our stay was really good and the receptionist was so polite and smiley. The rooms are quite small but we found everything we needed in the toilet: soap, shampoo, bath foam, conditioner, body lotion, towels, toilet paper. We would definitely go back.

Asked for air conditioning in the hotel before I booked, and they only had a fan. Was a little warm at night, but everything else was great. Such a great location, and the staff is very helpful. Would definitely stay again, just not in the summer.

Fab gem in a great location!

Fast check in process and friendly staff, the location is very convenient also. Room was spacious and had everything you needed including a small kitchenette. Lots of tv channels and the bed was comfy.

Overall great experience… comfortable bed and very clean atmosphere. It’s also a perfect location when it comes to traveling since there’s a train station 2 blocks away.. I felt super comfortable & safe for being my first solo trip

Great location, great staff

A little gem.

We found the Jade was a little gem. Although room was a little small it was very well equipped and spotlessly clean throughout.

Although areas of the building need a bit of maintenance it was very clean and comfortable. Slight downside was the sink in the kitchenette didn’t work but the kettle fit into the sink in the bathroom.

In a basement room, fairly noisy with nearby tube creating a rumble every few minutes.

Great Hotel, friendly staff

The hotel is well located and very clean, staff at reception were very friendly. The only negative thing is that the lift is too slow and if your a smoker it will take you ages every time

Good for price!

Based on price the stay was ok.Nothing special but absolutely fine for this price range.Bit narrow,but as I was only sleeping here,it is ok.Not for longer stay.

This three day trip was to do a medical procedure and I really needed to rest but the train passes under the hotel and makes a lot of noise for those who need to rest it is not the right place.

this hotel was good for a 1 night but it would be beneficial if there were some parking options available. No breakfast but that wasnt a problem as there are plenty of options near by.

Location was superb. Close to subway, shops and restaurants. Room was clean and had a nice decor. It was also spacious and well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The Lift wasn’t working at the time and the stairs were a bit creaky in places and the remote control could have been a bit cleaner but a nice stay overall.

Excellent little hotel

Stayed many times and never disappointed

Arrived at this property and was placed 4 floors down in the basement that smelled like mould. The elevator was broken and so I had to carry all of my luggage myself down to the room. I purposely made sure I would book a place with an elevator and the listing never mentioned anything about a broken elevator. My room was very small, the window faced out onto a cement wall and there was no microwave in the room as the posting described. Upon requesting a different room, I was informed that the majority of the hotel is not useable due to renovations. Again, this was upsetting as these conditions were never mentioned in the original posting. Overall not a good experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only pros were that it was relatively clean and very close to a tube station.

Business trip

Pleasant member of staff at check-in. Hotel being refurbished during my stay. Given room in basement which had been refurbed, so was nice. Okay for a 1 night stay.

The staff were very friendly and hotel was clean. The microwave and tea/coffee making facilities were hidden inside the wardrobe which we didn’t discover until the last day in our stay as we didn’t use the wardrobes. It was disappointing to find our double room was two single beds pushed together so you couldn’t lay in the middle of the bed or you fell down a dip. Also the hotel had scaffolding all around it and we were woken up by building work around 9am every morning.

Great value, great staff, great stay

A 3 minute walk from Earls Court tube station, the hotel is amazing value for what you're paying! Coffee and croissants available in the lobby in the morning (although coffee is available throughout the day), housekeeping come in daily and there is free fast wifi! The single room fit 3 BIG suitcases and there was still plenty of room, there is a lift aswell. Microwave, kettle (coffee and tea in room) and mini-fridge in the cabinet are an added plus not usually found in hotel rooms. Shower was a little tricky in the beginning, but that was fixed IMMEDIATELY by reception, after which there were no issues with it. Staff is friendly and accommodating, will do everything in their power to make your stay smooth and easy. Off the main street, it's quiet for sleeping during the night but restaurants, pubs and shops are literally just down the street. Would recommend 100%!

Dirt and mold

Our room was visibly moldy in the review. No new room to switch into. Beyond the mold the whole room was dirty. It was a miserable stay. Good location but imagine a hostel would be cleaner.

The jade was a really lovely hotel and the staff were so helpful!

The internet is always down not fixed by the staff poor service and front desk

Pretty Awesome First Trip to London

The location of this hotel cannot be beat! You are just a two minute walk from the Earl's Court Tube stop, which feels central to many of the other transit lines. The location is so close to Kensington Palace and all the local attractions that you can easily walk to many sights if you want to. The hotel itself is well kept and fully stocked with snacks, and the water in the shower was always hot with excellent water pressure. This was my first trip to London, and I will for sure keep The Jade in mind on my next trip over since I had such a great time!

Really great location, about a two minute walk to Earl’s Court station which connected you to the rest of London pretty quickly, and about a 20 minute walk from the Natural History Museum. The room itself was very small and if you had large suitcases and a lot of stuff you might struggle but with just two of us with packs we found it not to be a problem. Everything was fine with the room except the shower, it leaked to the floor below during our stay and so the hotel Had someone in to fix it but they didn’t inform us of this and we found out as we popped back during the day to drop things off - it just would’ve been nice to have a bit of a heads up. Other than that no issues, good price for being so centrally located, close to lots of restaurants and cafes, would stay here again and would recommend.

The manager was terrible. Because i did not like my room and want change, they shouted and insulted me. He behaved respectfulness. I am fully shocked, I lived this case fist time in my life. I did not see a manager or employee any hotel in the world. I believe that he behaved like this because I am from Turkey. When i said i will inform his behave to Expedia, he said he does not care Expedia. You should not work with this hotel.

Great Little Hotel

Nice little hotel. I stayed in two different rooms over two weeks. Stayed here while finishing up my masters dissertation after I had to move out of my student housing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice to have a fridge to store some cold food as well as a microwave to heat things up. The daily complimentary cookies/biscuits were the best. It was quiet enough most of the time to focus on writing and research during the day without distraction. It's also located very close to a number of Sainsbury grocery stores and other shopping. Staff were very nice, and they watched my bags all day after check-out while I ran to get my dissertation printed and turned in. I had a very nice stay here and would highly recommend to others.

Short stay

Other than a small room, everything else was great!

The small single room had all you would want at a very reasonable price. I do not eat large breakfasts and so the coffee and croissant offfering was perfect. The reception and management were very helpful and the hotel location is excellent a few minutes walk from two underground stations. A great London base for budget travellers.

Convenient location with good eateries nearby. Provides amenities like fridge, microwave in-room.

Love The Jade!

Love the Jade. This is our second time in London that we stayed with them. Every need we had they full filled. The front desk made sure that if we called for Uber that we had the correct person/car. They would check before letting us go out. We always felt safe and secure there. It’s also convenient to the underground and has many restaurants and stores around the area.

The hotel is conveniently located, close to Earl's Court. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with teakettles, mini-fridge, and microwave. There is an excellent cable service. Coffee, tea, and croissants are available in the lobby...a most welcome amenity. Management is friendly and attentive. I have stayed at the Jade several times and I have always been favorably impressed. Highly recommended.

Budget stay in London

The room was compact but the shower was way too small. The sink needed a plug. Day 1 I used the one breakfast tea teabag. It was not replaced ahead of my day 2. So I got to try lemon and ginger tea. It is good to try new things, but I would prefer to have breakfast tea.

Avoid this place. Better sleep in a clean hostel. I was given one room, when went in had hair on bedding. The receptionist gave me another room but she was rude and didn’t even apologise. It was a smelly cheap basement boxroom. There are dirt spots on walls of room. The extremely high noise of aircon makes you feel as if you are in a airplane for a night ! It’s not worth even the moderately cheaper price ! Rather stay in a clean hostel ! Worst hotel I have ever stayed in

Decor a bit tired in a few small areas of the room but generally in good condition. Room was decent in size, but would be better with a luggage rack - there was empty space not utilized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance from Earl's Court Underground.

Clean and a very friendly and helpful staff, but the hotel was too overpriced for what it is. The walls were extremely thin, and I was woken up each day by either an alarm, slamming doors or general noise from the street. While it was close to a tube station and walking distance (20 plus minutes, which I didn’t mind) to many museums and attractions, I thought the area itself didn’t have a lot to offer in terms of restaurants, bars, etc. Fine and safe accommodations, but I wouldn’t stay there again at the same price point.

better out there for less or the same money. don't bother if you don't have too!

When I arrived at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to a double room. I was in London for ten days, so this was nice of them to do. The staff were all so friendly, the property was clean and my room was cleaned daily. There was a little fridge, sink, kettle (with tea and coffee) and microwave in my room, which was great to have! The hotel is also located in such a great area, with the Earls Court tube station just down the street. It made getting around the city a breeze.

The property was spotlessly clean, very close to the tube and amenities and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My single room was very small but had everything I needed. No complaints at all with my stay. And I was allowed to leave my case at the hotel on my last day which is so useful.

Cramped

Not all rooms elevator accessible (ours wasn't). We supposedly were given a big room because we had large bags. Unfortunately, there is nowhere but the floor to put your bags and only a small wardrobe for hanging a few items (no drawers or shelving). Water in the shower was either scalding or cold, nothing in between except for brief moments. No control. Very limited space in the bathroom for your grooming products and equipment. Breakfast was a marginally functioning capaccino machine and plain croissants (no butter or jams etc). Good location. Wifi. Pleasant enough. Not great.

Hotel in a safe, quiet area, with plenty of food shops nearby. Staff helpful - I had an issue with my shower which was sorted promptly, and they were always welcoming when returning to the hotel from a days exploring. Was a bit of wear and tear in the room, but nothing that would put me off returning. Overall a very comfortable experience.

Easy to get to. Price reasonable. Some upgrades being undertaken but are not complete. Building showing signs of age. Second time staying there,. Sound leakage between rooms annoying.

Very convenient to underground and safe neighborhood

Location is amazing and overall for what we paid we were happy However the 'kitchenette' is half of a wardrobe, a kettle, a sink and microwave. There was a mini fridge in the room which made an awful noise so had to have it off most of the time, just as well it was super cold when it was on! Also the bathroom door is glass that doesn't quite shut properly, hope you know the person you're sharing with pretty well!! Overall it's in a good location and it was clean

Great location. Not too big for a room, but very efficient. Bathroom tile and fixtures all remodelled. Very nice to have a mini kitchen (kettle, fridge, microwave, sink, dishes, and cutlery). Staff very pleasant. Appreciated that there is an elevator.

My home away from home. Great area/location, very friendly staff & management, as well as great pricing.

The hotel is conveniently located in the Earl's Court area, close to the tube station. The rooms are well-maintained and the cable service is excellent. Management is friendly and attentive. I was placed in a basement room with a window that didnt lock and air comes through, a freezing cold room that was heated mainly by a small space heater, no hot water and a dirty bed. I stayed 1 hour and booked at another hotel
