The staff was remarkable. And our friend, the chimp, was so welcoming.

Common areas were top notch designs. Rocco bar/restaurant was incredible. I have been a loyal fan of the Autograph Collection and The Iven deserves this branding - Highly recommend.

I am torn on this review. The Chiado area of Lisbon that the Iven's is in is extraordinary, but the hotel itself falls short in many categories. The staff is either hot or cold. The rooms were VERY small, even for European standards. The bathrooms were unacceptable for the $800 per night price tag. Housekeeping was wonderful, the free mini bar amenities were gracious, and the breakfast was delightful.

The location is excellent. The rooms are modern and clean. Overall staff service isn’t as expected on a five star hotel.

Wonderful venue to stay to trip to Lisbon.

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. It exceeded my expectations greatly. I spend much time researching hotels and areas and decided on The Ivens. My husband and I enjoyed the friendly staff, the gorgeous decor, the romantic ambiance of the bar and restaurants. There were plenty of options on cocktails, liquors, wines and the food was impeccable. The area was quiet, safe and walkable to many restaurants. The concierge was extremely helpful and gave us daily recommendations. The room was spacious, storage for luggage was wonderful and they left daily tips and treats in our room. If you are considering this hotel, look no further. When we return to Portugal again, it will certainly have our business. Thank you Ivens for a superb stay to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary.

Amazing hotel, in great location!

The staff was incredible, we stayed here for NYE and couldn't have had a better time. Rocco the restaurant attached is also fantastic. Location is also amazing!

The level of service started with emails a week before our arrival to finalize our transportation, sightseeing, and comfort requirements.

Excellent stay

Beautiful hotel with great service. We will definitely stay here again when in Lisbon. The hotel is also in a very walkable area. we never had to take an uber anywhere.

The decor of the hotel is very elegant. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is perfectly located to all of Lisbon’s famous attractions. I would definitely stay here again when I travel back.

Wonderful ladies trip in lisbon. Great location. Service was amazing. Love the jo Malone products. Everyone was happy with the hotel. Bar and restaurants are super.

Small rooms, front desk staff is very helpful but cleaning crew is quite problematic. They knock on door while do no disturb is on. We got several calls to our room , some quite late for no reason speaking in Portuguese and hung up. Breakfast is terrible, coffee is very bad. This hotel has potential but they are not a 5 star yet

Rooms are small, friendly staff at front desk but rest seems disorganized. Very frequent room disturbance from knocking when do not disturb sign is on, calling the room in error (5 times), and door banging in the hallway. Our room got flooded due to plumbing issue, we’re moved to downgraded room with no city view. And don’t serve capsule coffee to customer in a 5 star hotel

Beautiful hotel, though the rooms are small

We came to Lisbon for our honeymoon, and found the hospitality in Portugal to be top notch. The Ivens raised that bar even further. The staff were absolutely awesome and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special, even remembering us by name. Housekeeping must clean the room at least 3 times a day, as it always felt like we had fresh towels being provided. As an added bonus, the location is awesome and you find yourself right in the middle of shops, bars, restaurants and the metro, comboio station Cais do Sodre. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough, and will most certainly only ever return here in the future. Antonio provided us with very personalised hospitality, and the stay at the Ivens will easily be our most memorable. If only all hotels could be like this!

The location was excellent, in walking distance to many shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the river. There was a welcome glass of port and chocolate in my room when I arrived, and a lavender sachet next to my bed on my last night, which were both unexpected lovely surprises. The hotel staff was also very nice and helpful.

Go for a drink, not to stay.

Reminds me of the Ian Schrager days of looks over function. Beautiful place, but slammed the cleaning lady against the closet because I opened the door and didnt know she was in there arranging. The bathroom has no place for toiletries you bring. Speaking of, they brought half of them day 2 and didn’t provide a complete set, lotion etc. on check in. The set up of the suit case is far away from the closet, there isn’t enough room to unpack everything if you are there for more than a 2 night stay, and everything just feels really cramped. Even though it’s November my room was always 22+ sometimes 23.5, and had to ask for help on that a few times. I had made a mistake on the reservation and had check in a day early. I booked 4 nights instead of 3. Most hotels will do you a solid on the courtesy removal if you stay multiple nights and they did not have to turn away guest, this wasn’t 100% occupied. They refused, so when I needed to extend my stay for 2 more nights I switched hotels. Staff was otherwise nice.

Super choice, super friendly and accommodating staff, super clean. My solo dinner dining experience was delightful. Definitely was the right choice as a first time visitor to Lisbon, they helped make me love the city even more!

O Amenities são da Acqua do Parma azuis, Blue Mediterrâneo , essência maravilhosa. O ponto máximo é o café da manhã no belo restaurante Rocco , que funciona no jantar com dj e espetacular culinária italiana. Amei o serviço, Super indico e vou voltar .
