Our room was huge with 2 bedrooms, good kitchen, dining and lounge. Bigger and more beautiful than expected. We stayed for 7 days and our room is cleaned impeccably each day. Highly recommended.
Very comfortable and spacious apartment in a great location - next to a great shopping area and lots of food options.
Excellent stay.
Friendly and most helpful. Comfortable 2 bedroom unit. Nice pool. Excellent breakfast variety. Walking distance to high street shops and dining options, very convenient.
Staff was very courteous!
Everyone was very helpful and loved the location !
Great experience.
Great location
The location is perfect for shopping and dining. 1/2 a block away and there is a mall with food and shopping. 1 block away from Wangfujing pedestrian street. The apartment style living is comfortable and great for our family. My only complaint is that the bathrooms and sleeping area does not have a wall disturbing the other person on the room.
I appreciate the hospitality of the staff at the hotel. I particularly like the washer and driver in the room and that is very helpful for me. I will definitely recommend this property to my friends and I will stay there again in the future when I visit Beijing, China.
nice place and nice service!
Great experience. The washing machine has a dry function which helps a lot with laundry. I was expecting a hot tub with a jacuzzi, which in the UK hot tub is usually means jacuzzi.
The suite is smelly.
nice!
Great hotel
Very good spacious hotel!
We had good experience while staying in the hotel, from front desk lady Cassie Chen who changed room when we have concerns and helped to get extra blanket , to clean lady in our room, and service staff in breakfast room. The hotel is also in excellent location, close to city center. Will definitely come back again.
our family visited this hotel in 2019 for a week and decided to return for a second stay. while we appreciate the friendly staff, we believe the hotel could use a good renovation and improved maintenance. on a positive note, our cleaning lady has consistently done a good job of keeping our unit tidy and clean.
Nice place! Great room service!
Good location
Good location. Walking distance from Wangfujing station, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden city and Wangfujing shopping area. Hotel staff very helpful. Valued for money for 1 bedroom.
Leaked windows!
Property is dated, especially the furniture and electronics. Wonderful service from the staff and cleanliness made it a good experience though.
Nice comfortable large rooms, excellent location right next to Wang Fu Jing street and Chang An street, a few minutes walk to subway, nice large indoor pool.
Great location! Very spacious!
Very convenient and pleasant
Great location and spacious rooms w small kitchen.
Great location and amenities for families touring the major sights in central Beijing. Lobby bathrooms cleanliness can be improved.
Conveniently positioned, cleaniness and great service
Very convenient location. However no main bathroom door in MBR. Suitable for couple rather than for family with children.
Everything about the Marriott exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly and were able to help me with popular tourist destinations. They even explained the rail network so I was able to catch the local subway with my children. We returned to an immaculate room each day. It was a lovely 'home away from home.' The position of the Marriott made going out to dinner easy, sight seeing easy and trips to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen, Quanmen and the subway easy.
Great layout, but a little dated. Still felt orderly and clean, hotel staff was accommodating and helpful. No heater in the unit but they provided a roll-away heater, also a nice pack-and-play for our 1 year old. Great location, overall would stay here again.
Good location, close to everything and Easy parking
The apartment was very conveniently located for sightseeing. It was in a nice condition and most of the hotel staff spoke English and are very helpful. The kitchen is suitable to cook in. My only negative comment would be that I'm disappointed with their communications before arriving. They had not informed us there would restricted access to the hotel during the weekends. I would expect this information to be shared in advance.
Excellent location
Nice location, extremely large room
A young lady (I forgot her name) was very nice while our checking-in. The room is extremely large and comfortable.
Excellent location at the center of Beijing, spacious(~880sqft 1-br apt), convenient but very quite and clean. It is right behind the back door of Beijing Hotel, next to WangFuJing st. Kitchen is a plus. There is a grocery market in 3 blocks away, ~10 minutes walking distance (if you don’t know where it is, ask the staffs there, they are super nice and polite). Tian An Men square is also in walking distance. Lot of funs exploring nearby area by foot. It really gives us the feeling of home. The only minor problem that management need to improve is when checking out, they could not find the slip of receipt of deposit (just like other hotels may do for property damaging), but this won’t prevent us from coming again.
The location is great, walking distance to everything. The staff is nice though it took me a while to check out
Location is great in Wangfujing. Walking distance to Wangfujing street, and the forbidden city. Apartments are great and clean.
Great location. Staff on desk were excellent.our room was extra ordinarily large.
Terrible and hot
This hotel advertised individual climate control and air conditioning in rooms. There is only heat in the rooms no air conditioning. Our room was 27 degrees Celsius. We contacted guest services and they informed us to turn off the heaters. We did. The room stayed at the same temperature. I spoke to the guest services next and informed them and they said that 27 degrees is acceptable but they would send up an engineer. Engineer stated that the four thermostats in the apartment were not correct and it was actually somewhere between 25-26 degrees Celsius. At that time I asked I we could be moved to an apartment that had functioning windows and we were told no. We tried to sleep at night and the temperature was around 28 degrees. We did not sleep the entire night. We were given one small fan for five people in the four room apartment. The next morning we went to the breakfast offered and I noticed that there was indeed air conditioning and the thermostat read 21 degrees Celsius. I prepaid for this terrible hotel room so I went again to guest services and asked if we could be moved to a room closer to the breakfast area because it was much cooler on that floor. We were told no. We decided that we would check out early. As we told the staff they suddenly said we can change rooms to floor 3. We moved our things and went into new room that was smaller but the temperature read 25 degrees Celsius. We left for the day and arrived back at night and the temperature was reading 26.
Great location near restaurants and shopping. Spacious rooms
We love the space, layout of the apartment, non-carpeted floor, big circular bath tub w/ bath salt, big comfy beds, good water pressure, 3 toilets for emergency, provision of laundry detergent, close proximity to Family Mart, shopping malls, yummy food, subway. My only 2 irks: 1. Washing machine. Need patience to change the auto setting. 2. Central heating. The living room was too warm to our liking and the control didn't respond to any adjustments. We switched on just enough lights at night to keep the temperature down. Overall, it's splendid for my family of 5 (adults). Will definitely stay here again if we visit Beijing.
The room was very spacious for the right price. Great for traveling with family!
Better than expected
Very large rooms with all the amenities. Friendly staff.
Staff services was very good and extremely helpful.
Large apartment with full kitchen. Very comfortable.
The location of this hotel is the best and the room is excellent
I like the property. But the staff committed a mistake. When i instructed her and showed to her our Expedia voucher to inform our car pick (through expedia booking) to come and pick us up at the hotel at 7:30o clock in the morning to bring us to the airport, she contacted another car (not from Expedia) like an (uber) in China. So I was made to pay TWICE.
Great location near the shops and tourist attractions.
good location the apartment very comfortable clean easy access by the subway. tourist places are close and easy to go by subway If I would hire him again
Spacious rooms and Central location
The rooms were large and very comfortable with all amenities. Very comfortable sofa and bed. Wifi was decent. Subway station was just a 5 min walk. Staff were mostly helpful but breakfast was mediocre.
Awesome
Great location, great service and most amazing room. We loved The Imperial Mansion for everything.
top of the line in accommodations and service. It was convenient for a walk to the Forbidden City as well as some excellent shopping and restaurants.
Love the location!
Great friendly staff, room was big and comfortable. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was very good.
The people were so helpful and efficient and the room was absolutely top of the line. Very comfortable.
We had very good experience with the hotel. Also the hotel is located at a very convenient place.
Great position in Beijing...close to shopping mall and food outlets..generous kind check in with party of 7 at 0100.
Beautiful two bedroom apartment but needs cleaning
Friendly staff. Less than 5min walk to Wangfujing. Good for family, large play room for kids. Breakfast was so so but convenient if your little one is hungry as soon as they wake up.
Excellent location, extremely helpful employes.
We stayed for several days, a couple and l person. My only complain is that the roll away bed that I used was extremely hard. The rest, perfect!
The hotel staff were all very helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to all our friends.
conveniently located hotel
perfectly located hotel with shopping and transport nearby, close to tiananmen square, huge 1 bedroom suite, many people complain about sewage smell in the hotel, which we got on 1 of the day, nothing a air freshener cant help. all in all a great stay,
Great location and great service
Very good location, close to subway, shopping centre, and 10 min walk to Tiananmen Square. Excellent service from friendly hotel staff. Very good sleep (stayed on the 7th floor), comfy bed and quiet street at night. Would stay again!
A Beautiful Apartment
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Imperial Mansion Apartments. The location was ideal for walking to tourist sites and the apartment was large and very comfortable. The only negative was that the apartment, lobby and breakfast areas were all very hot, as the hotel had not yet switched from heat to air conditioning for the season. Since we could not cool off our rooms we requested a fan which helped a little with its minimal power.
Great location, nice rooms, but very poor cleaning! Literally dead bugs on the floor the entire 3 day stay!
HUGE ROOM
We LOVED this hotel. We had a two bedroom suite and it was amazing. The room had 2.5 baths (one which had a giant whirlpool tub) and 2 full bedrooms. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning wasn't turned on yet (March), so it was a little warm at night. We loved how much space we had, and the market right around the corner was a must see!
Very comfortable/ clean hotel close to everything
The English speaking staff( especially Sofie and Etta) were absolutely very customer focused and proactive with their suggestions and actions. The Forbidden City was very close. We stayed at this hotel on two different occasions over the past month and both times it was exceptional with the staff rated a “10” in every respect. The very safe and clean subway (3 minutes away) was easier to take as taxis do not want to take you on short distance destinations.
better with complimentary pocket size washing detergent supply and cutlery
To Beijing with love, best stay!
Stay at this hotel was amazing. It is luxurious at best. Not only that, the staff made us feel really welcomed. I like to mention specifically the young man named blues want. His smile and very pleasant personality made a huge difference in our stay. He is one of the best, if not the best front desk receptionist we ever came across. We were very skeptical about visiting Beijing, but he made our stay really enjoyable. I will definitely stay there again. The apartment is very specious and very clean. We loved it!
Convenient and Comfortable - Very Upscale!
Family traveling to Beijing for the first time.
Highly recommended!
The hotel is in an excellent location near the Forbidden City, Tienanmen Square and the shopping district. The staff were extremely helpful, they arranged a tour to the Great Wall and tickets to a show. When we had to change the time for our pick up the bell staff went to great lengths to ensure we got to the airport on time. If we are ever in Beijing again we will stay here.
Very close to Forbidden City and good shopping
We were welcomed and checked in by the smiling and very efficient Josie who was most adept at providing suggestions on what days to visit various sites. She went out of her way to book admission tickets for the Forbidden City and this facilitated quick entry to the site. On the whole, I would rate this hotel a “10” as their English speaking staff were able to provide “par excellence” service over 4 nights. Thank you.
Nice hotel for family right in the centre of Beiji
Great location. Super friendly staff. Totally enjoyed our stay.
Very nice and surprising stay
Very nice stay, we were upgraded immediately from a 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom apartment with every amenity, including a washer/dryer. We see also give free breakfast which was incredibly nice. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended, Daisy at the from desk and others were very kind.
Very nice hotel right at the center of Beijing
The hotel was great. Expedia failed to let us know that the pool was undergoing maintenance so this was disappointment, but nothing to do with the hotel. The staff was great, especially Cindy Wei, who really helped us. I highly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel
Beautiful suite and amazing service. The front desk was very helpful in assisting us in navigating the city and helping us figure out transportation.
Very comfortable staying
Really nice and very comfortable hotel located right next to major areas of interest (Tienanmen sq, Forbidden city, etc.). Breakfast offers plenty of choices. Front desk staff not fluent in English.
Great - Highly Recommended.
Overall a great place to spend in Beijing. Spacious and well kept with room amenities well stocked. Wifi was generally good. Location was excellent with pedestrian street right behind. Metro was about 5min walk away. Loads of malls and restaurants to keep you occupied. Breakfast was a letdown with very basic fare being served. Hotel staff were top notch, smiling and always helpful. Biggest gripe: hotel is next to some government building and at times the road access to hotel entrance was denied for cars and taxis. You have to stop outside and walk in. Imagine if you have luggages and if it's raining. Would return the next time I visit Beijing.
Great stay
The room is huge, the hotel is in next to the shopping street of Wangfujing, however, due to some national meeting on the same period, the road to the hotel(apartment) was closed, so I have to walked 2 blocks with my luggage. Room is comfortable, water pressure is great, come with small kitchen and living and dining room, suitable for family.
Great location and amenities!
Checking staff were friendly and the process was seamless. Location is PERFECT! DaDong and Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurants are just around the corner. The Wangfujing food alley, convenience store and shopping center are a ridiculous 2 minutes walk! :). Forbidden city is also a 10-15 minute stroll. Great location and I am very happy with our stay.
Great apartment right in the middle of town!
Great location and super comfortable bed! Feels like coming home after a long day out in the cold!
Wonderful hotel Very spacious rooms Great staff Very very clean Close to everything,
Apartment hotel with great location and pool
We chose this hotel because of its great location, room size, and massive pool. If you are a swimmer, this is where you stay in Beijing. The most incredible lap pool on the top floor that was very clean and 25m long. I was able to get a good price on hotels.com a few months before the trip. I did notice the price increased by 25% the closer our date was. The first apartment we checked into had a very strong smoke smell even though we requested non-smoking. We thought it over for an hour or so and decided we needed to at least ask if moving was possible. The staff made the change right away and we moved into another room totally smoke free for the next 4 days. We had daily housekeeping, robes/slippers, washer/dryer and 1.5 bathrooms. A large soaker tub was located in front of the bed with a large tv above. Lots of closet space, nice kitchenette which we used every night, and a convenience store close that we used everyday for milk, yogurt, coffee, bread, steamed buns and snacks. As a couple this worked for us but with a family, I would hesitate without a larger grocery store nearby. You can walk to Tiananmen square and the national museum while the subway is a block away. The breakfast was standard in China with lots of local dishes and a few western options. The omelet bar was really nice. Deposit requested was 2000 RMB for our 4 night stay. Fortunately they accepted our credit card and only "held" the amount so we did not get nailed on exchange.
Excellent location
Excellent location. Helpful staff. Minimart next door. Overall a very satisfying stay. Walking distance to tiananmen and by bus to other tourist attractions.
Awesome place
Friendly staff and clean room. Nice location and safe
Terrific location. Overall first impression of the apartment was great. Physical layout and finish not so great. For example lovely tub bath but unable to reach water outlet to test water temperature without climbing steps, shower spacious but water does not drain, no power outlet near the wash basin for a hair dryer. Minor issues but annoying. Lack of a café on premises for a drink or coffee.
Great stay in Beijing
The stay was amazing! The staff was super friendly, very helpful. My husband forgot to pick up towels for the pool, when I inquired, the pool attendant brought the towels to the pool side for him and the kids. The apartment is fabulous, huge living room and dinning room, with a large soda, 3 soda chairs, and a sofa bed. My 3 kids all slept in the living room while my husband I get the king size bed. Kids loved the round free standing tub. The rooms are so much larger than seen in the pictures. The hotel is in an excellent location, at Wangfujing shopping district, we walked to the Peking duck restaurant and had the world famous duck dinner, and kids got to buy souvenirs. We also walked to Tiananmen Square and palace museum. It will definitely be our home again in Beijing.
Spacious
Best location for shopping and visit to Tian An Meng square.
Convenient location for a family
Very satisfied with the hotel. I certainly will stay here again. We stayed during the summer with my family of five (teenagers), so we needed the extra space. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and was exactly that, two separate rooms each with full bath plus a half bath in the living area. The location could not be better for a first timer, in the center of the huge city. Also breakfast was an excellent buffet.
Comfort and Good Atmosphere
A pleasant holiday with supporting excellence accommodation
Highly recommended.
Beautiful hotel. Central location. Highly recommended.
Quality hotel
Quality hotel, decent price for what you get. Good breakfast included
Hotel centrally located, spacious, room outdated, very poor lighting, had to stand at side of check-in counter to check-in (not professional) didn't understand or speak english well so was hard to to communicate. issues with WIFI...Would think twice about staying there again.......
Upscale near Forbidden City and Wangfujing Street
Our family (Mom, Dad and kids ages 10 and 8) stayed at this hotel for four nights. For context we normally stay at 3-4 star accommodations. We were very happy with this hotel and would classify it in the 4.5-5 star category. We had a two bedroom suite which consisted of two master suites. The entire apartment was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The shower had great pressure and temperature. We didn't try the deep tub. The living room had plenty of seating for all of us and more and the desk area provided a nice space to set up an office. Having a 6 person dining table was a nice option which we took full advantage of when dining in. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, place settings, etc. A highlight was the pool which is very large, has a great 8th story view of the neighborhood, and offered plenty of lounging areas. Breakfast also offered a good variety including made-to-order omelet, fresh fruit/salad, pastry, cereals, porridge, noodles and more. We picked the hotel because it is close to the Forbidden City which was a 15 min walk to the main south entrance. Very convenient. Being in the Wangfujing area was a bonus as we had lots of nearby options for dining and shopping. Snack street/alley was only a half block away. The Wangfujing subway station was also about 10 mins away. We took the subway to the Temple of Heaven which was a very simple 3 station, 2 line trek. We would definitely recommend the hotel for a multi-night stay, close to key tourist site
Great location, better staff
Cracking location, walk to Forbidden city etc in 10 mins. Some parts looking a little tired, need a lick of paint. Pretty good breakfast. BRILLIANT staff, went way beyond to help book cars etc. Great place to stay with kids, big rooms, nice pool, 5 mins from street food mecca.
very nice apartments with some wear
Nice, spacious, well designed apartments. Just some wear that could be solved with maintenance.
Convenient and Comfortable Hotel
The room was really big and nice. When we returned from a long day, entering such a room was a great feeling that you could get a good rest. There are many points of interest in the neighborhood, within walking distance or reachable by subway readily. Many shopping malls and eating places from economical (good quality) to pricey (excellent quality). You would be spoiled by the choices available. There are several subway stations nearby that could connect to further places like the Great Wall and airport.
very central apartment hotel
2 bed room apartment was a great size and very comfortable. The kitchen and cooking utensils are very limited and no washing liquid/cloth/dishwasher tablets supplied, obviously not meant to do much home cooking. Also not much in the way of supermarkets/grocery shopping in the area, it is too central, however lots of restaurants close by.
Not worth to pay this price at this apartment
Not happy to pay for this money at this rate of apartment. Services not up to the standard n air cool is control by the central system. Wifi which I stay in room 303 which cannot use.
Excellent apartment in the heart of Beijing
Had a wonderful stay in the apartment. The staff were very helpful and friendly and their command of English was very good, nothing was too much for them. The apartment was bigger than expected, especially the bathroom and having a second toilet was a bonus. The facilities in the kitchen were very good and the living area was more than adequate. We had a view of the courtyard which was pleasant, however having a view of the exterior hotel would have been better. The swimming pool was of a good size and so was the gym. The buffet breakfast offered a good selection of Chinese and western food and again the staff were friendly.
Central Beijing with family of 4
Excellent location and enough space for family of 4. 2 large bedrooms with own bathrooms and central living room and kitchen. Way more than we needed, but no real alternatives for same price and space. Hotel is more of a strange hybrid apartment/hotel with basic services. Good breakfast. Indoor pool. Walking distance to shopping streets, restaurants etc.
Nice hotel close to the subway
Loved the room and amenities, Restaurant was excellent and breakfast was nice.Great location near subway, Tienanmen Square and the Forbidden City also a Traditional Chinese market at Wangfujing.
Great Location and Huge Room
Very nice hotel in a great location. There are plenty of good dining and shopping areas very close and it's a 10 minute walk to the Forbidden City. The room was quite large and had everything you could need. The staff were very helpful and provided great recommendations for places to eat. We went during low season so the price was a great value!
Definitely recommend!
