Bug found all around in room, including exchanged room on different floors.

SCAM by hotel staff

Beware 3 hotel staff ask to see my credit card for the payment . One of them holding my card reading the 16 digit card number in Chinese to other staff writing it down on paper plus the expiration date . Will the other staff was talking to me about changing to room type blah blah .. I noticed and ask for my card back .. he handed over flipping the card back tell his colleague to write down the 3 digit security code !!! SCAM ? Imperial Hotel

Poor condition, bath room

It was the middle of winter and there is no heating so it was really cold. Blinds on the windows could not be raised because of knots tied in the cords. The bathroom was like walking into a dark cave.

I hated this property. Useless. N expensive for that poor maintenance, facilities and condition .

Not value for the money

Filthy and worn out. You feel like you’re inhaling molds. Saving grace is its location.

This hotel is very dirty. But the building on good Location of Tsim Sha Tsui. Good for me to go anywhere.

No upgrades or renovations for ages. Well, room is cheap and big and central. Owner is very kind and helpful.

Don't stay in this property. There rooms are very dirty you can't even imagined.

Not clear

Close to everything especially transportation, malls & attractions. The rooms need to be repainted. Dirt marks all over the wall so suggest to repaint the room to look cleaner for the customer.

Mold! Should be reported to health authorities.

This place looks NOTHING like the pictures. They have a serious MOLD problem, which is visible in hallways, inside rooms and showers. The lobby is decent but I have seen three of their floors, and three rooms, none of them are like the pictures you see on Hotels.com. ALL 3 floors and rooms that I saw have mold. The staff is very accommodating and willing to switch my room but in the end there was not a room that didn't have mold, so yes we slept in a moldy room for a few nights.

Totally rundown, smelled, they clean only on the second day and every other day after that, cramped space, old TV set, no amenities in the room, dark hallways. Will not go back there. (Excellent location though but it’s the only thing going for it)

If I can get a refund, I will definitely go away immediately. The room was smelly, sweet. Mold everywhere. Don't stay there. Nice location, worest property.

The Hotel is little run down. The room had small roaches. Had complained 3 days in a row and they addressed it but the roaches kept coming back. The Toilet had a problem and had to complain every day for the water to flow properly. The staff was prompt and sending someone to take care of it, but the infrastructure of the hotel is lacking.

the room was cold even i turned the air-condition down for two days. I asked for extra blanket but still felt cold for the two days I stayed. The floor was full o dust , especially under the desk. the hotel DID NOT change the bedding after the former customer left. I FOUND long hair on the bedding. There was no hot water at night when I wanted to take a shower. The towel was in grey colour. Te only advantage it is convenience.

I can say that the location was great but when we first gotten to our old outdated room, there were no tooth brush, seen a couple of cockroaches and wasn't aware that there was no house keeping unless itbwas reserved. Once we reserved a cleaning and make up for the following day it was forgotten.

NOT GOOD AT ALL

The photo in the website is not the same as the actual condition of the room. There is no complimentary bottled water which is a standard in most hotels. The room is old and the bathroom is also old. There is also the smell of an old room air inside the room. No heating too. No available portable heater when needed.

No room service unless you demand it. No 110 w electric plugs You have to prepare it by your self. Street noise 24/7

No cleaning room service provided on the day if a lot of people checking out.

Horrible hotel

It is on a major thoroughfare

In the bathroom soap was so small, that it was hard to hold. Bathroom door was shacking. This is first trip after the covid and environment was not the same. The price they are charging for the key location, it's not worth

Water leak just outside the room door, lots of mold on ceiling of bathroom, weird odor in the room, tight bathroom, dirty sheet and smelly pillow

Rude Staff, No cleaning, Wont go again ever.

It was a very bad experience, the Staff were very rude and also there was no housekeeping cleaning daily. We stayed for 3 nights and had to clean it ourselves.

I found many cockroach and no cleaning service. I asked them to clean and sanitize room but they just didn't take any action. not recommend to stay there and not worth spending that much money there

It looks nice in the picture, but when we saw it, it was filthy, and the hallway smelled of cigarettes, including in the room. The bathroom is clogged, and the toilet bowl is dirty. The sink is clogged as well and very dirty. The two mattresses are like hospital mattresses. Their towels have disgusting stains because if you use them, it looks like you will get sick worse than Covid. Instead of enjoying our temporary stay in Hong Kong, it seems like we will get sick because of the smell of dirt in the hotel room. I couldn't sleep because I was itchy, so I didn't finish the morning, and we moved to another place. It's called Imperial Hotel, but it looks like not a hotel.

A nice simple stay

All fine, just very cold without aircon and cups were stained dirty. Spacious room, hot shower, friendly manager.

Not a bad choice for tourists

It was a bit small for 3 people, 2 dogs plus 2 crates. The pillow was the best one I have ever used. Location is convenient.

Shower towel is too old, edges are reaping off. Toilet bowl not 100% clean, urine from previous guests are still stained at the back cover area. Door bottom edge gap too large letting outside air conditioning to comes in which makes the room too cold after switching off room air condition. WiFi service very poor with very slow connection.

Was a good place for a solo female travellers.. though nol slippers, bottle water and toiletries are not included i can still recommend wifii disconnect i think every hour but still fast

We liked the location because it is just right along the main Nathan Road, near a lot of cheap resto like Cafe de Coral and the MTR as well. Thus, commuting to Ocean Park, Disneyland, Mongkok, Harbour City and the Avenue of Stars was a breeze. This is the third time we booked at Imperial Hotel during our family visits to Hong Kong since 1993.

The place is really not that good, the front desks, the ladies are quite rude.

Not so friendly Front Desks

The place is quite nice, it's very accessible to most of places we want to visit. The price is quite cheap, but it was disappointing, because they offer cheaper to walk ins than to us who booked it in advance. The airconditing is really bad. Some staff are not friendly and moody.

The only good is the location, other than that is very bad!

This hotel is not a 3.5 star hotel

this hotel had bugs in every room I stayed in. The telephone did not work in the first room I was in. Housekeeping was a joke. Each day it took only 5 minutes to clean my room.

Room in picture is TOTALLY different with realistic Negative Cleanliness, it like they never clean carpet over a decade Bed cover sheet smell very bad. I'm sure they're not change new one Some of staff are not friendly not all (I know you have lots of customers but you should try to say nice to your customer as well!) Positive Location is very great Fast service for check in & check out Basic amenity provided Remark: One of staff has service mind. I request to change to new room. She help to change for us but to be honest, i think it's nearly the same one (bad one - dusty room)

I am not so sure if he was the Manager, but I would like to thank him for helping us look for a cab to take us to the airport. Second, when we asked the front desk to transfer us to another room because we don't like the smoking room, they happily obliged in doing so. Imperial is at TST area and convenient to take trains whichever place you will be going.

Location was great. Our request for 2 twin beds was accommodated. The cleaning lady was always polite when we run into her in the hallway.

The room was very small and the air conditioning was noisy but other than that the room was ok. For a one night stop over it is fine. I wouldn’t want to spend more time than that

Good location, just the third floor I was on, had a stale smell.

central location. But all the good things end there. They first gave us a room that smelled like mold. So we requested to switch. The second room was much better, but still felt more like a cheap motel than something that resembles the reference photo on the website. We asked for additional blankets and towels. The first time nobody came to deliver them. So I had to go down to the lobby again to ask for them. Ten minutes later a staff came in with just a towel. I asked for the blankets and the lady rudely said no. I was too tired at that point to go down to the lobby one more time to make a third request. Just terrible service in general. Would not recommend this hotel.

Great location small room

The hotel is situated in prime location with a short walk to the Harbour and a MTR station across the street. Check in was easy and the staff nice. The hotel is older and could do with a refreshen up. The room is small but as a couple it stored the bags ok and did what it was designed for . There is a self service laundry on the property. The price was ok for the hotel and area. Don’t expect the Hilton as you get what you are prepared to pay for. They hold your bags for 10 Hong Kong dollars after the 11am check out which is handy Overall it was a good stay .

It's very convenient for taking A21 bus from the airport to the hotel because the bus stop- no.15 is in front of the hotel. It costs HKD10 per room for luggage storage
