Disappointing. Be aware of events
Leading up to the stay I received a e-mail advising of the Parioli Punk festival event that would be occurring at the Hotel. It stated “As for your stay, we want to reassure you that it won't be overly impacted by the event”. Our first night there was a concert in the main lobby with extremely loud base that could be heard as high as the 6th floor. The staff accommodated us and moved us to the quiet side of the hotel and were apologetic. The event was extremely disruptive and I would not have stayed here had I known. I can only imagine this was disturbing for many other guests. We ate at the restaurant, twice, the dining staff seemed more concerned about the event than dine in guests. Food was bland and tasteless. Drinks were overpriced. This was my second experience staying a Hoxton and the last. Outside of being aesthetically please these hotels lack adequate amenities for the expensive price point.
Rome - Business Travel
Breakfast could be better. No buffet, everything was a la carte, which made things slow and staff forgetful albeit friendly. Would encourage them to offer a la carte instead. The rest of the stay was very good and I’d stay there again, but think twice about the breakfast.
great hotel!!
clean and cozy - absolutely lovely stay overall. would want to stay there again
We had never been to Rome before and didn't know what area to stay, friends recommended this hotel to us. What a lovely hotel. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff couldn't do anymore to make our stay comfortable. We had a few hiccups but these were resolved very quickly. Loved that we could simply WhatsApp the front desk for anything too.
Great stay on all fronts!
Great service at check in/out. Staff is constantly making sure the common areas are clean. Francesca and Martina went above and beyond with exceptional service and great conversation and tips on places to see. They were the standout of our stay!
Property has a big personality. Not sure whose it is but they certainly like green. We had a so called “biggy” room which was average size or even small for other hotels in Rome. Breakfast was nice. English is widely and well spoken. Nice place with good value.
This place had good vibes. Love the decor and environment. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. For us, the location was just too far out from all the sites we wanted to see. There’s transportation close by, but it’s just not convenient. We highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a boutique style hotel and do not need to be near all the “tourist” spots!
This property was a dream to stay at. The food is amazing the drinks and cafe is amazing. Ambiance on the weekend is super fun and youthful. Staff is friendly and ready to help at all times. I can’t wait to visit again !
We left out bags for a few days and when we returned they were in our new room waiting.
Super!
Really nice comfortable hotel in a quiet location. Was here on business and was excellent. Breakfast was really good and staff were very friendly! Will definitely recommend and go back here again!
Lovely stay but seemed to be a little short staffed - no room service available
Great stay!
Love this hotel second time staying . Atmosphere , friendly and great value. Location on the outskirts of attractions making it a peaceful retreat. Area very safe and community friendly
another perfect Hoxton stay
The Hoxton in Rome is not close to the city center. It is close to Villa Borghese. But I chose to stay here anyway due to my love for this hotel chain. I know what to expect in terms of exceptional service, style, quality and vibe. it is worth the taxi ride back after a long day of sightseeing.
We really enjoyed our time at The Hoxton Rome. From the clean and comfortable rooms to the delicious food and funky atmosphere in the dining areas, our visit was fantastic.
Clean + Comfy + Friendly
I loved staying at the Hoxton Rome. The staff were all wonderful, especially Francesca and Lorenzo. I enjoyed the fact that the hotel is located a bit outside of the touristy areas. It made the trip relaxing to escape the grounds. And it was still very easy to walk, take public transit, or an Uber to any other location. Will definitely be coming back.
Rome for a day
Rome, Italy is a great city to visit anytime of the year. The hotel is a 25 minute walk to the Pantheon The hotel is designed more for short trips.
Loved it!
Fabulous hotel, with everything you need. Lovely comfortable rooms, delicious food and friendly staff. Just loved it.
Great Hotel and Great Location
Great hotel, great location! My favorite part is the cafe area. You can grab a cappuccino and relax.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, vibrant lobby atmosphere
Lovely hotel with friendly, professional staff.
Vero good in all aspects relevant to me
Lovely property in a very interesting area of Rome, away from the main tourist bustle and walking distance to explore parts of the city outside of the usual sights.
Comfortable hotel/ location not ideal
A comfortable hotel with decent room and breakfast. Bed very comfortable and helpful and agreeable staff. Out of the centre of Rome, the location is not ideal but safe and pleasant enough. Not so easy to get around but taxis always available. Probably would not stay here again due to location.
Rome - November stay
Great hotel, good location, great bar, friendly staff
excellent
Everything was excellent Loved the music and furniture. ambiance, food… everything!! Overall an excellent place to stay
Nice property
Excellent place. Very good service. Restaurant and coffee were great!
Very comfortable stay! The hotel room was very clean and well furnished. Not the most central location to main attractions but nonetheless a very quiet well serviced hotel. The front desk was always helpful with getting a taxi or with parking. Food served at hotel was tasty.
Loved the location and safe atmosphere
Front desk/reception was extremely helpful!
Great Hotel
Great hotel, with lovely amenities, interiors and very friendly staff. For sure the rooms are on the smaller side and the location perhaps a bit random if you are there for sightseeing but we know Rome well and loved it.
This hotel exceeded all our expectations. The vibe in the lobby is so nice, the staff is extremely friendly and the room was very cozy. The decor is fabulous and the shower was the best I’ve ever experienced in a hotel! I loved this place!
The hotel was really nice and staff were helpful. Room was a bit smaller than expected and didn't really have enough storage. Good stay overall.
My fourth time in Rome and my fourth time at the Hoxton. Cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff. Service, above and beyond! Things needed for a person from a different country trying to understand the culture. A beautiful place in beautiful Rome.
Nice and clean, good staff and easy access to taxis/ubers
It is the only place in Rome, I will stay. Professionalism and super friendly. The best!!!
Hip and chic at the Hoxton
This hotel has a great vibe and ambience. The experience could be further heightened by a signature scent. Would definitely stay again. Pros: Chic decor, relaxing music, comfortable bedding, relatively quiet Cons: No porter service to help with luggage, construction currently in front of the building
Its a Hoxton!
We enjoy the Hoxton brand.
Very clean, good food.
To far from the center
This is a 10/10 stay! The staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The interior, exterior of the hotel was amazing and the room itself was SO clean and modern. The food and drinks were amazing too. The only slight downside is that it’s not central to the tourist attractions but the Hoxton feels like an attraction itself, it was such a fun time.
A bit far from the main tourist attractions, but a great option if you don't mind the distance. Great staff, clean rooms, good cafe/bar/restaurant within the hotel, and nice food options nearby. Also very close to Rinascente mall and grocery stores.
Very modern and trendy hotel. It would’ve been great if their breakfast food was better, but overall it was a great stay at the Hoxton in Rome!
Cool atmosphere, great dining options
Rooms were beautiful and as a solo female traveller I felt safe at all times. Staff was extremely kind and helpful.
Friendly staff
Generally ok, however breakfast was horrible, smell in the lobby was off putting , staff was not overly friendly or helpful
All the staff here were wonderful!
What an amazing hotel! The retro design and attention to detail in every corner of the hotel is exquisite! The breakfast was rich and customized to our desire; the manager gave special attention to us and was quite attentive. I would def come back every time i am in rome and highly recommend!
Terrible breakfast
Great location, quieter neighborhood
Perfect for short stay in Rome
Super stylish and lively hotel. Really comfortable room and friendly service.
Amazing hotel!
Good location to do all our daily excursions. Staff were excellent and accommodating. Would recommend.
I went as a solo traveler, found The Hoxton excellent :)
Really great hotel. I would stay at a Hoxton again. However the area around the Hoxton Rome was very dirty. The trash cans were overfilled and smelled terrible. However Rome overall is dirty.
This was our first trip to Rome and we cannot say enough good things about the staff who excelled at hosting us. I would strongly recommend this place for anybody looking for a top tier hotel in Rome. Thank you to the team at the Hoxton!
Great experience
The property is really well designed and love their perks!
OVERALL excellent
Really beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Shame the iron took 15-20mins to arrive to the room the two occasions we needed to request one. Maybe there should be one in the room?
This was a perfectly nice place to stay. Difficult to get a cab into the thick of things — it’s in a nice residential neighborhood outside of the city walls. Big bathroom. Felt a bit more like a three than a four star — it’s a very very large hotel.
Beautiful hotel and great rooms. Keep in mind quite the distance from main attractions; but easy walk to public transportation…. The neighbourhood is super cute to explore as well.
Excellent location, wonderful service staff, delicious food and impeccable house-keeping!
The hotel and staff were fantastic...there were some road works outside the hotel
The room upgrade I hadn’t even asked for was much appreciated! Loved the terrace. Most of the food was excellent. The staff worked hard but I suspect there were not enough of them. I would definitely return.
Place is very nice and I enjoyed it
Poor service
A+
Excellent choice. Nice staff nice room. Very attentive. In quiet neighborhood
The hotel is in a great location and the staff is always helpful. Very comfortable. And great coffee and pastries
The hotel is well designed with charming details as well as an abundance ot convenient additions - fast charging plugs, breakfast in a bag etc The only slight downside was location - there isn't much around and it's quite a walk from the centre but it wasn't a huge problem for me.
We have just returned from an amazing stay at the Hoxton. Room was beautiful, as well as ground floor dining/breakout area. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. While location isn’t right in the centre, we loved walking through the Borghese gardens every day and there is a bus 2 mins away which is a short trip to the tourist attractions and station. Would definitely return.
This hotel is a vibe and that’s why you should stay here. But the services aren’t amazing - my room didn’t get cleaned on one day and the food service is really really slow. For the name and price I expected a little more.
One word to describe this hotel is a “GEM”
Location
Nice hotel to stay and convenient.
Very nice cool place to stay.
Nice area of Rome and great staff. Beautiful hotel loved it. Will definitely come back again.
The Hoxton was an amazing stay. Absolutely recommend for location, price and atmosphere.
A nice hotel in a safe, not overly touristy neighborhood. Room and overall facilities of the hotel are clean and well kept. The bed in our room was comfortable, and we loved the music and television options in the room after a long day of sightseeing. The only suggestion I have for the hotel is to upgrade their card reader system on the elevators. The current system is very glitchy. Still, a lovely stay at a well-run hotel. Hotel Har
Great place
70’s wowness
Such an amazing stay. From the moment I was greeted at reception till the time I departed. The decor is 70’s wow. The bed was Uber comfortable. I love that they had my favourite tea from Florence. And the cafe in the lobby was gorgeous.
super helpful stuff. Wonderful restaurants around. Great location.
Beautiful hotel. Great lobby evening cocktail vibes. Staff was very courteous and helpful, even bringing me a US-Italy outlet adapter when mine broke.
Comfoetable bed and good shower. Water is not free, a small bottle costs 1 Euro. Hotel decoration is classy.
Away from the busyness and clutter of the heart of Rome. Not too far for decent 25min walks if weather permits. Room was very comfortable.
I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location is nicely tucked away from all the hustle and bustle of touristy areas. Its a 5 min walk to villa borghese in nice residential area. I didn't mind taking an uber although you can walk to the spanish steps. The room is a good size and bathroom cute. The staff is nice(shout out to ahmed), food is good… its just a vibe. I would stay again!
Very nice stay. Staff was helpful and friendly, daily breakfast bag was convenient. The lobby was always busy with people working, so it was a little noisy and warm, but still a nice atmosphere. Great location for anyone who has been to Rome before and isn’t looking to stay in the city center. Enjoyed morning walks in the nearby parks.
Cozy chic vibe near Villa Borghese
The Hoxton was fun, comfortable and trendy. Francisco was amazing-his level of service was top notch. We like the ability to be in the lounge with all of the comforts of a living room, and cozy vibe. It’s super close to Villa borghese (why we chose it) but a bit further if you plan to do most of Rome’s sites. Getting a cocktail in the lounge in the evening was not so easy, wait staff passed us numerous times on several nights and we had to flag them down for every request (and the bar wouldn’t take our order directly). We found the food overall to be less than expected. There are so many unmarked places in the neighborhood that we would have loved to have had some insider tips on. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the quiet, and the location worked well for us.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at the Hoxton. Service and comfort could not have been any better. A beautiful hotel with a comfortable and warm atmosphere. The Room was fabulous.
Nice sized rooms for Europe. Comfy bed. Very clean. Slightly out of the way from city center, but short taxis or transit rides to get to main sights. Huge lobby bar area to work at and seemed to have lots of younger professionals.
Great hotel.
Beautiful hotel, with great rooms and very nice foyer. Good to chill out in the foyer during the day for coffee and lunch in the evening for cocktails. The lunch and dinner was okay, but the breakfast rather dissapointing. The yoghurt and fruit bowl I had was particulary poor, but the poached eggs on sourdough okay. If you a tourist it's worth noting that the hotel is quite far from the centre of town and sites, and not connected to the Metro. However there are buses that are very regular and stop nearby (although note they do get very busy at rush-hour).
Stylish and lovely
El hotel es muy bonito y el staff es atento y profesional, ayudan a resolver las necesidades con facilidad. El restaurante Elio puede mejorar su calidad de alimentos.

Everything is fine in this hotel but it is overpriced.
