Family owned and operated. They were very helpful. They even arranged for us to see a tradition dance performance. Breakfasts were exceptional with many choices.

Enjoyed my stay throughout the time, decided to stay more 4 days as place is very close to centre and owners are very friendly and accomodating. There are services including transport, food and much more. I had a quiet room with a small pond in front with koi fishes, very calming vibe. I will keep coming to them everytime, must try.

We loved our stay at The Hidden Bali Inn! The owners and staff are so kind, and they treat their guests as family! Our room had everything we needed, and the owner helped us rent a scooter, and arrange transportation to our next location. She also kept us informed about local shows and events going on and offered to help us arrange any activities and such. Lovely quiet atmosphere with beautiful decor and lush vegetation right outside of your door. Also super close to central Ubud, and very walkable with markets nearby. 10/10 would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here.

I was not feeling well and they were very nice to me. The meals were great especially the banana pancakes for breakfast. They just let me hibernate in my room while getting over whatever crud I'd picked up. Room was clean and adequate for a single person. I could control the AC which was nice, not being used to a tropical climate. I would love to go back when I was healthy to see more of Bali.

If you want to experience local life and local food this is an excellent place. We loved our stay here. Wayan met us at the cruise ship at the start of our stay and took us to the airport at the end of our stay. His wife prepare tasty Balinese breakfasts for us each morning plus a couple wonderful dinners we ordered. Their daughter was a dancer in the Balinese show we watched at the community temple. It was also an easy walk to the main shopping area at the end of the street. Our stay here felt magical.

It astonished me how the property was so close to the main Ubud hub and yet once inside the compound you couldn't hear any street noise. Very quiet and very peaceful.

The host was not responsive at all. They ignore all the messages and didn't answer phone call. The 24 hours front desk didn't exist at all. The inside room and outside are very dark. There are geckos in the room. Also the room smells bad. The Only advantage is the cheap price.

Wayan & his wife are extremely welcoming & treat you like family. They will assist you with anything that you need. It was a treasurer to stay at their place, thank you!

This property is strategically located within walking distance to some tourist attractions such as monkey forest, souvenir shops and culinary destinations. The hotel owner (Komang) was very friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night. Definitely hidden. We liked the location and it was clean. Staff was kind.

The family, especially Komang, was very helpful and always ready to render their services. The room was kept clean. The breakfast was prepared n served after we confirmed we are awake or back from early morning walk. So bf was always hot and freshly made. They were helpful in showing us the way to various places too.

my friend and i loved our stay here! it was very walkable from the main street of ubud, lots of warungs nearby. our hosts were so kind and informative. breakfast was included in our stay and all of the fresh fruit was delicious! we opted for banana pancakes during one of our breakfasts and it was very memorable!! so yummy!

The room was large, and beautifully decorated. The bed was really comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Nice deck overviewing a calm green courtyard.

A Hidden Gem

Lovely place to stay. Basic facilities but can't expect any more for the price. The host Wayan and his wife welcomed us like family. Breakfast was simple, adequate and delicious. My only problem was that my room was on the upper floor and i find it a little difficult to get up and down the stairs. Overall a great experience.

We would highly recommend staying at Hidden Bali Inn. It is an excellent value with wonderfully owners, an authentic feel to the property, clean/modern rooms, delicious and large breakfast to get you ready for the day and super convenient location close enough to the action to easily access it, but far enough away to be away from the action. You can pay a lot more for other places but why when you get all this at the Hidden Bali Inn?

I have been traveling for 7 weeks and stayed in MANY places. This is one of the best places i have stayed! Wayan and Komang truly treat guests as family. The space is quiet, clean, great shower, ac, mini fridge and amazing breakfasts. Loved staying here and would absolutely return!

The hosts were wonderful - friendly and accommodating; breakfasts were great; you're within a 5-minute of Ubud Centre yet it's quiet and peaceful in the compound; the air conditioning works great; the wifi is very good; it's very affordable and great value for the price; Wayan's tours of Bali are wonderful - I couldn't ask for more. I can't think of anything I didn't like. I'll be back!

Delicious FREE breakfast with a new menu daily.

The best breakfast I've had while in Bali. The FREE breakfast changed daily. Fresh squeezed juice daily with different choices. The best fresh squeezed orange juice I've had anywhere. Watermelon, guava, and orange juice were among the choices. Breakfast included a huge bowl of fresh fruit, and a choice of 1 omelette, crepes, or eggs on toast.

Great little family Inn. The room is super clean and spacious with everything you need for a couple of days to explore Ubud. The family is really friendly, speak great English and the breakfast is nutritious and generous. Good Balinese coffee too. Loved my short stay.

The property is beautiful! The rooms are amazing and so comfortable. I felt like I was at home with family. The owners are such wonderful people and really looked after me. I highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I are vegan. The host had no problem adjusting to our diet for breakfast. The host was our driver as well and was very knowledgeable of the destinations to go, with an abundance of cultural history to learn from. Very clean and super comfortable bed. We will definitely come back to visit.

Great 4 nght stay in Ubud. Good location in central Ubud but quiet for sleeping. Nothing was too much trouble for Komang and Wayan. Super breakfasts. Definitely recommended 😀

Bed and breakfast type of lodging, newer rooms, very clean, big, nice comfortable beds, breakfast was included, which was very convenient as we had early tours everyday and no time to go out looking. The breakfast were amazing, always fruit plate, tea or coffee, fruit juice, eggs or pancakes. I mean it was a feast everyday. The owners very nice people, they always helped with any request and always checked we were ok. I loved and enjoyed my stay at this place everyday. Couldn’t have ask for more.

Great location and lovely family.

Wonderful place with lovely helpful couple. Anything I needed they could help me with. Wayan was available via WhatsApp and helped me with a good price on rafting booking. His wife brought me ice and made breakfast just as I liked. Clean and safe. Quiet and cozy family feeling.

Our stay at The Hidden Bali Inn was just perfect. We booked on the strength of other reviews and they're all spot on. The hosts, Wayan and Koming are so welcoming you feel like part of the family. The hotel is actually set within the grounds of his family's property, and like many of the Balinese people his family are all so friendly and will greet you with a warm smile. The rooms were always clean, spotless in fact, and are really well set out with some beautiful wooden furniture. The rooms overlook the gardens which are lush and vibrant. Wayan also offers tour services, he took us on the north eastern Bali tour and we learned so much from him. Koming's breakfasts were to die for. We always had a plate of varying fresh fruit, with a variety of main breakfasts (the banana pancakes were AMAZING. Koming also brought us little extras, a taste of Balinese breakfasts. Overall, would highly recommend a stay here, the best hotel stay we've ever had.

Hands down the best place we stayed on our trip! The owners are amazing hosts in so many ways. Wayan picked us up from the airport and had a genuine smile on his face right from the start. The rooms are large, very clean, and well furnished. The property is close to downtown

Add the Hidden Bali Inn to your favorites!

This is an amazing (truly hidden) inn inside the heart of Ubud. I loved staying here, from the super comfortable bed and big updated bathroom, to the amazing daily breakfast, to the unmatched hospitality! This is an inn that's close enough to the market or rice fields for walking, and has a million cafes and restaurants nearby as well. It's exactly what you'd want in a unique Bali experience. The Inn is also accessible from two entrances on different streets, so you have options coming and going. It's quite beautiful and well kept (family owned) Inn. Definitely added to my "favorite's" list!!

Super Unterkunft, liegt sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und die Besitzer sind jederzeit erreichbar. Haben auch gute Tipps für Ausflüge und uns die Kultur näher gebracht. Kann ich sehr empfehlen, werde ich wieder buchen :)

We had a wonderful, relaxing week here. Wayan & Komang were always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast prepared by Komang every morning was delicious. There are dance performances held in the temple just across the street. Kajeng rice field is also very close so that you can spontaneously take a walk and enjoy the quiet rural atmosphere. We can recommend the accommodation to everyone.

Family run homestay. Clean room and excellent service from the host. Personalized breakfast and the fruits were really good! The room is a bit dim. There's hot water but it's either very very hot or just cold water. Can improve on that. Overall, I enjoy my stay there, will return.

Un bonito rincón en Ubud

Es un lugar muy bonito, muy limpio, rodeado de vegetación, la recámara amplia, delicioso desayuno en la terraza, latencion de la gente de lo mejor. Tienen servicio de taxi aeropuerto. Cerca del templo de Ubud.

Amazing place

I went to Ubud with my family. Location is great and close to everything. Pool is clean. Room is clean. The only issue is the Toilet (clean but too noisy) in general super and great hotel.

자연친화적

우붓에서 2박한 홈스테이형 호텔이다. 다른 호텔에 비해 저렴해서 많이 걱정했으나 만족스러웠다. 일단 우붓 왕궁과 시장에 걸어다니기 편했고 아트 거리도 가까웠다. 방에 드라이어와 커피 포트가 없는 거 빼곤 완벽함. 아주 조용하게 잘 있다 갑니다. 1층이라 개미랑 벌레가 가끔 들어오는 것은 참을만 했어요~♡ 주인 가족이 매우 친절합니다.

Amazing! So good staff, 10/10! They booked well organised activities for us. We also got breakfast outside our room every day, a big +! Everything was soooo good! Definitely recommend this place.

가성비 좋습니다.

꾸따에서만 지내다 바투르 트레킹때문에 몇시간 쉴 공간을 찾다가 발견했습니다. 직원 몇 안되지만 친절하고 방 컨디션 좋았습니다. 뜨거운물이 너무 잘 나와서... 샤워기 컨트롤이 좀 힘들었습니다. 시내에서는 걷는 거 좋아하시면 걸어서 갈만한 거리입니다.

It was a great experience to be in a family house of people from Ubud. The room was perfectly clean with air conditioning, the bathroom was comfortable and the breakfast delicious, every morning the owner surprised us with a homemade different breakfast. The location is close to the center of Ubud, and the couple of owners very kind and helpful.

we absolutely loved our stay at The Hidden Bali Inn. Wajan and his family took us in like we were their own. The Hidden Bali is is a brand new homestay which was being improved while we were there. The owner asked us for advice.and review and was genuinely interested in our ideas to improve what was really good allready. we used the Hidden Innas our basecamp while we travelled Bali and sone of the Islands. Nothing better then to know all is sagw and well taken care of, the laundry ready when we got home after another day- or weekend trip. Always a talk or a laugh, beautifull breakfasts and great ideas. Thank you to all at the Hidden Bali Inn for a great two and a half weeks!! See you next time for sure! grtz Mireille and Ben 🙏

Heerlijk verblijf, ontbijt is top!

Kamer is eenvoudig, maar groot en schoon. Terrasje is heerlijk. Geen tv, wel goede wifi. Ligging op loopafstand van centrum van Ubud. Familie is hartelijk en maakt graag een praatje zonder opdringerig te zijn. Het ontbijt wordt door de gastvrouw gemaakt en op je eigen terras geserveerd en was overheerlijk met een fruitsapje, fruit, koffie of thee, ei of pannenkoek en een Balinese lekkernij. De hele vakantie nergens anders zo'n heerlijk ontbijtje gehad.

I truly had an amazing stay at The Hidden Bali Inn. Wayan and has family really treated me as I was part of the family and their level of hospitality felt more genuine than in any of the leading hotels of the world. Here you get to stay at a genuine Balinese compound in a beautiful newly built apartment. Not only is this great value for money, but also a way of supporting the local people and contributing to the unique Balinese culture. Wayan knows all the best places in Bali and can be private driver during your stay. Staying here is an experience you shouldn’t miss out on!

Highly recommended place to stay in Ubud

The reason that made me choose to stay at The Hidden Bali Inn was the great reviews I had read about not only the homestay as such but the kindness and hospitality of its owners. I was travelling on my own for 8 days and needed a place where I could feel like home. Wayan and his wife welcomed me with kindness and made me feel at home. Konta´s breakfasts were amazing, especially the banana pancakes, but she always made sure to add a Balinese delicacy for me to try, which was very thoughtful. As for the room, it´s quite big as well as its bathroom. It includes an open terrace where you are served breakfast. The homestay is part of the family’s compound making your stay a truly cultural experience but having enough freedom to stroll around the common areas including the family garden and temple. It’s 10 min walking distance to the main shopping and eating area, Ubud Palace and market and 15 min walk to the amazing Monkey forest. I highly recommend The hidden Bali Inn to make your stay in Ubud unforgettable.
