It's classy and with a historic vibe. I had a room with one queen bed. It was spotless and quiet but small, especially the bathroom and the closet areas. The bathroom needs a make mirror for sure.
I liked that it was walking distance from the train station.
Great stay
Front desk was wonderful! Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioner didn’t work so we were a bit warm to sleep at night.
Lovely stay at the Henley Park. Staff was excellent, room was nicely decorated, bed very comfortable, and a silly feature … great water pressure in the shower! Easy to walk to restaurants, cap one arena, shopping, metro.
Nothing at all
Elegent historical hotel within a 10-20 minute walk of most thing in downtown DC. Our room had issues with AC cooling and street noise but impression was likely had many nice rooms. Inside rooms away from the elevator might be best. No microwave or fridge in room. Bar is overpriced even for DC. We did not try the restaurant. Liked the location and ambience. Staff not particularly friendly but pleasant enough and responsive.
Needs an Upgrade
Noise noise noise... we were put in a room facing the street and the noise was insane!!! The bathroom small and the entire place is dated.
Nice weekend getaway
The hotel was very clean/comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly/accomodating. I did have one very minor issue with a window, but they came up to fix it right away. The bed was very comfortable. I had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent). I would definitely go back there again.
We liked it but it needs work
Our room was spacious and the front desk was great but the heating was inconsistent and the shower hard to use We liked the hotel but it needs to be refreshed. We asked to get the heating right and I’m sure they tried but sometimes it blew hot air and other times it blew cold air so we got under the blankets and turned it off
My stay overall was great. The only downside was the tiny gym.
I told him I've been traveling they need it to go to bed I checked in at after 11:00 p.m. fire alarm went off at 6:00 a.m. because they're renovating the room next to me and they did not take the fire alarm system offline so the fire department came out and we had to evacuate the property. I was told I would be in a quiet area of the hotel it did not have a great view but it would be quiet. The renovation on the room next door was all day long cannot get any work or sleep in I didn't stay the second day I left I couldn't take it anymore. one elevator was down out of the two which created very long Waits to get it the other floors
Older property, great bed, clean bathroom, TERRIBLE WiFi. Business center was a joke. No free breakfast. Great location.
Classy vintage hotel love it!
The front desk is very efficient and helped with our issues.
There was no near parking. Too expensive for valet parking
Great deal. Close to everything. It needs some upgrades. Staff very helpful and friendly. My room was very clean.
Great hotel
Our stay was perfect! We really enjoyed it and it was a great location. The bartender recommended a Himalayan restaurant that was absolutely amazing. Thank you for a wonderful trip.
Excellent value, good location, quirky and quiet.
Nice comfortable rooms.
It was nice! Romantic atmosphere! Kind stuff! Very clean!
Friendly doorman and the manager was so helpful with parking etcm Location is incredible, between the convention center and CityCenterDC Walkable to all federal buildings and museums, cafes and restaurants Easy access coming in and out of the city
Highly recommend
A lovely hotel. The room was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. Service was professional and friendly.
Will Definitely Stay Again!
This hotel is absolutely stunning and well maintained. We were greeted by a doorman who loaded our things on a cart an took us up to our room. Our room was gorgeous and very clean. If your room faces the street as ours did, I suggest using a white noise app on your phone. The traffic is loud (not the hotel's fault!) Staff was professional, helpful and courteous. Only suggestion would be a coffee/tea bar in the morning.
Good location.
Charming hotel right in the heart of central city.
Our frequent retreat
The Henley Park has always been a source of refuge and enlightenment for me and my family. We visit here frequently. The staff and employees treat us like family members. It is one of our favorite places.
The rooms were too small the mattress was uncomfortable. I requested a refund, and was told by an Expedia representative that I wound get one. I got a security code from Expedia and a cancel and rebook email email from the reservation help desk ( Anderson). Anderson rebooted the my stay at the courtyard but I had to prepay for the rebooking as I did with the vacation package. The next day I receive an email from Expedia state that they talked to the Henly managedment and they refused to honor the refund. I never would have left if they hadn’t sent me cancellation and rebook email. I was scammed out of my money by Expedia . The irony is they say that they never sent the email and have no knowledge of who Anderson is but I the next day they sent an email denying the refund. How do they I requested the refund if Anderson doesn’t work for them. The Henly says Expedia is totally in control of the refund but they reuse to honor the mistake their employee made even though I have documentation. Boo to expedite
The hotel is very nice. The staff is friendly but the cleaning is horrible. They didn't clean our room one day and when they did the cleaning staff put dirty sheets with blood. Horrible
Wonderful stay
Great stay. Friendly staff. Clean and super comfortable.
The staff was amazing! Location very convenient to convention center.
The Henley Park is a beautiful historic hotel with amazing staff. The staff is so friendly and they go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.
Nice old comfy warm place to stay.
Overall a good stay. My room could have been a little cleaner, and there was a lot of construction in the building and outside of it that was disruptive. All the doormen were lovely and helpful; front desk staff were less so. Location was great, making DC very walkable.
Historical
Lovely place for you to centre your visit, staff are lovely, rooms nice, great shower, breakfast really good, you should pick this hotel for your stay
Fine for the price, just not wonderful
Heat got a little too hot at night. Wish ice was readily available, but great stay overall!
Beautiful place and Great staff !
This hotel is at a cross hairs, on one hand it’s beautiful from the outside but the rooms are horrible. The room I was provided looked like it was put together but teenagers
Safe.
Do yourself a favor and pack a sleeping bag and stay on the street by the Methodist church down the street with free showers. This ‘stay’ was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. We paid for a room from 3pm-11am. We were unable to check-in until 10pm and the flippant manager said there was nothing they could do for us because we booked through expedia (something else to think about in the future). All the other hotels in the area were booked, so I was left worth little other choice to wait until they damned to let me into the room I booked. I was traveling for work and needed to change for a dinner, the hotels solution was to offer me a dank janitor’s bathroom in the basement. I wasn’t comfortable even setting my bag down in it let alone change in the cramped space. When we finally able to get into the room, we were made to wait outside of the hotel in 38° windy weather while they polished the door jams only to then get in the one working elevator that reeked of sewage.
Pretty good spot. Although some of the finishes are not top tier the rest of the space is pretty nice.
The best place I've stayed.
I had amazing stay at The Henley Park. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again the next time im visiting D.C.
Customer service was amazing! Hotel room was nice bathroom was a little small but overall great stay!
Really kind staff, clean room! Loved the historic atmosphere as well.
The property is great, but the wifi is not. If you need to do work online while staying here, you'll need to setup your own hotspot.
Refrigerators
I love this place but put damn refrigerators in the rooms!! You should have to ask for one.
Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Great location. The valet parking made everything simple. I would definitely stay here again.
Great location,lovely older hotel
We lucked out and got an extremely inexpensive room, then we were upgraded due to some issue that didn't effect us. Very convenient location to the mall and transportation. We would stay there again.
.
The room was very small, food was very pricey
The building was beautiful
Had charm
The hotel has charm, but the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the heater kept climbing in temp and the air conditioning would not come on. Only 1 elevator worked. The bar tender was great!! Good was good but pricey.
Wonderful Hotel
Great service, cleanliness, location, and character. Quaint restaurant bar on premise.
The staff were friendy and the room was clean and comfortable
The hotel is a cozy alternative to the big chain hotels in downtown. It is elegant and the staff are so warm and welcoming.
Beautiful, cozy hotel
My room was quaint and comfortable. When you initially got there my TV wasn't working. It did take quite a long time to get it fixed, but everyone was very kind and accommodating. I did miss having a microwave and small fridge as most rooms have these days, but the vintage feel and beauty of the hotel may have been lessened by them. The bed and linens were very comfortable. I was there during the inauguration week so it was very busy. I noticed a lot of sirens outside. I'm not sure if it was the timing or the location. Having said that, it is beautiful area and I felt safe walking the entire time.
Great location & rooms. Request a room not on K Street
A beautiful hotel overall
High level, clear, beautiful. Truly high Recommendations.
Qaint and quiet
This was my second stay with Henley Park. I enjoy qaint hotels that have been well maintained and Henley Park does not disappoint. I have been surprised to find sufficient street level parking within a block of the hotel. Upon arrival I have been met both times by someone at the door with a welcome greeting. The desk personnel have been very accommodating and friendly. I have yet to enjoy tea time or the bar/restaurant but I will ensure to make time on a future visit. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. Checkouts have been seamless and on both stays I wish I had more time to stay. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance, and on our first stay we walked to the hockey arena and the White House. I have enjoyed my stays with Henley Park and I look forward to a future stay. I will continue to support this hotel.
Great one night stay
Very friendly staff
Quite a strange room, with lot of noise for heater and some other thing. The temperature was never the same what I had set.
5 Stars
In DC for the inauguration. The Henley Park was fabulous. Loved the room and the bar and restaurant were outstanding. Will def stay there anytime in DC
Trip to DC
The hotel was fine, the service was terrible. Don't plan on eating there, took forever to Get service and food. The front desk girl was not helpful when we checked in.
Historic property. Comfortable
Quaint and precious hotel! Wonderful staff!
It was nice and clean
Service the Patrons
Desk staff were not warm and welcoming( one gentleman was). Gentleman at the door when we arrived was friendly and helpful but only helped us inside door with our bags- we had to carry them up the stairs- only one elevator was in service.
We had a pleasant enough stay, but the property felt kind of tired and lacked charm compared to the pictures online. The hotel bar and restaurant were just about empty during our stay which seemed like a bad sign. Despite that, the staff was very accommodating, but the lack of activity and somewhat dated decor was not very inviting.
Attentive staff, clean environment, and quiet rooms. The hotel is centrally located in downtown D.C. with plenty of entertainment and food options within walking distance.
Amazing staff - professional and friendly. Beautiful historic hotel - quiet and clean
Lovey old hotel, great location
Like - location Didn’t like - bottled water have to request every day and pick it up by guest at front desk. Why these not refilled without request and delivered to the room on daily basis?
First thing is expect to pay 60 for valet parking, parking garages around the area all close for the weekends (crazy isn’t it), then the room that we were given was clean but next to the elevator, so we heard ding multiple multiple times throughout the night. Hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly but not to sharp on area around them
Everything was just right
They were friendly and good communication
Excellent !
Thank you for welcoming us for our stay and for keeping our bags safe after the checkout!
very good experience
clean and great location
This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Quiet and quaint. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The service in the room was excellent. We came back each night to a perfectly put together room. Convenient location as well. Would definitely be back!
Would definitely stay again. Great location and a nice place.
The hotel was very clean as well as our spacious room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Quaint hotel in a good location
More quaint than luxurious, but an easy Uber-ride to all of the sights and restaurant on our DC list.
Well Dressed Comfort
I found the staff extremely friendly and informed about the area. Helpful with ways to travel for outings in the city and to get to forms of travel outside of the city. I enjoyed the atmosphere it was quiet and had a stylish classic hotel feel. I’d would be happy to go back.
Operations Manager and all staff were awesome! Charming hotel walkable to shopping, restaurants, and tourist stuff. Will stay here again.
Lovely vintage hotel in downtown with comfortable rooms super friendly staff who were attentive with definitely come back if we ever are back in DC
This hotel offers a delightful experience for any traveler. The staff, especially the receptionist, provides exceptional and welcoming service. Its convenient location makes exploring the surrounding area a breeze. With comfortable accommodations and a prime setting, this hotel is a great find. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Great vintage hotel, great price, and they even let me check in early.
