I felt like I was sleeping in the White House!

Restroom shower wasn’t clean, requested several times to resolved the issue but nothing happened

Great location, but the hotel has seen better days. Rooms feel dated, the water pressure in shower was non-existent. Needs renovating. Staff was all very helpful and friendly.

I think we were put in a closet as our room was facing other buildings and was out of the way.

Hay Adams- would stay again!

The service was wonderful. My room was amazing. I ate in the bar and had a wonderful waiter and the food was fantastic.

Worth it!

This was a wonderful experience to stay at the Hay Adams. Perfect location, the service was impeccable and you never know who you might see having drinks in the bar. My only slight request is that our pillows were so soft that we woke up with stiff necks. I’m sure if we had requested new pillows, we would have slept better. Great choice and can’t wait to be back!

Without exception, a world class hotel. Been to several others and this is right up there with the others.

. They offer coffee machine and coffee in room but for us early raiser not not wanting to wake up other people in our room it would be nice to have office in lobby.The staff all great friendly and personable. Would high suggest and we will be back.

The service was excellent, room service was superb. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and we definitely felt pampered. I highly recommend to anyone who should treat themselves.

Top notch service from doorman - concierge - valet - front desk and restaurants. The room was beautifully decorated and arrangement. Bedding was so comfortable and clean. We stayed for 2 nights and sad to leave.

You should absolutely stay here in DC!

I stayed for a graduation trip for my nephew. Really just excellent! Fresh cookies at the front desk, turndown service, nice robes, an espresso machine in the rooms, walking distance to just about EVERYTHING, and three metro stops close enough to catch everything else. Highly recommend! My only quibble is that i did need extra USB ports. Solved easily with a multiport adapter that i brought with me, and warned my nephew to bring one as well. There were three total in the room, two in the desk, and one in the phone. May be plenty for most folks, but i have too many electronics. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Fabulous history and a supposed ghost as well! Highly recommend

Amazing Stay at The Hay-Adams Hotel

My husband and I stayed here while celebrating our anniversary in DC. We have stayed at many hotels in the DC area over the past several years, but this is, by far, hands down the best one. The staff and everyone that worked at the hotel made the experience extra special and wonderful. It is one of the reasons that this hotel is not only worth the money but also is on another level. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and clean. There are many extra details and special touches in the room. Every interaction with all staff throughout the entire stay was welcoming, positive, helpful, and lovely. The location was perfect as you can walk to many restaurants, museums, and the White House. We dined in The Lafayette for breakfast, and again, beautiful room, the food was great, and the staff was professional, accommodating, and nice. The coffee was even good. There is even a cool bar... It won't be easy to stay in other hotels after staying at The Hay-Adams!

Exceptional in every way possible! One of the classiest and most pampering places in all of DC and yet understated, humble and down to earth. Family friendly, super friendly and not stuffy. The staff is incredibly diverse and treated us like royalty.

There should be a consent near the desk and bed. It was inconvenient recharging. Otherwise an excellent stay.

The place was clean and comfortable. But I booked 4 months in advance and at that point asked to be moved from a double room to a queen room and when I inquired again upon check in the man at the desks response was that they were fully booked. While I understand that, they were certainly not fully booked when I initially booked my room and requested this change.

The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly & helpful. The concierge accompanied us to the top floor to view WDC view at night and informed us on the details of renting the banquet room for private occasion celebration.

Hay Adams is a classic luxury hotel. With all such hotels, amenities can be lacking. Service is excellent. Rooms will need a refresh soon. Location Is amazing.

We loved our stay at the Hay-Adams. The location is extremely convenient and walkable. It's right by the White House and a pleasant walk to many of the monuments. If you're a walker, it's also not a bad walk to the Smithsonian museums. If you're not up for a walk, there's a metro station nearby that will take you anywhere in DC. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. The staff is wonderful!

The Hay is a ********** Hotel!

The Hay is our home away from home and we stay here every time we visit DC. The staff is amazing - they quickly get to know guests names and the service they provide is extraordinary! Rooms are well appointed and architecturally interesting. The quality of the food from the two restaurants is simply great. If you dine at the Lafayette Restaurant, ask for Geovanny. He's our absolute favorite!

We had a spectacular stay at the Hay Adams. The service was impeccable. The Concierge desk was very helpful. We had wonderful breakfasts and an outstanding dinner in the dining room. The Bar is super fun! We will return.

A bit noisy

The hotel, food, service and almost everything was great. Not sure if it is the age of the property, but we were able to hear almost everything the guests in rooms on either side of us were saying/doing. We tried to communicate that at least once to one guest room, but it didn't go so well.
