Excellent location in a quiet street just off the centre of Charlottetown. Room was comfortable. Reception staff were good. The main disappointment was the breakfast. This comprised what I'd call "beige" food: some cereals and white bread, pain au chocolate and an egg option. I've had better omelettes. Not to our taste (preferring yoghurt, muesli, seeds/nuts, fruits, wholemeal/rye bread). We eat breakfast out on our second morning.

My wife and I loved our stay. Staff was amazing. The easy walk to restaurants and shopping was a great plus. A great hotel on a great island. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation this is the place and The Harbour House made it everything we hoped.

Gary from the front desk was such a gem during our evening check in. Goes above and beyond to support guests experience. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms are spacious with a little kitchenette. Property itself has very nice interior - sets you back in time- loved it!

The room was lovely and had a little kitchen with stove, microwave, tea kettle, sink and utensils. The breakfast each morning was very good and had a nice variety. Definitely worth it.

Wonderful place to stay. We really appreciate the delicious breakfast the first morning of our stay and the bag breakfast that they had made for us as we left very early for the home the next morning. Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean!

Very cozy and in a fabulous location. The breakfast was a nice touch and had a good selection. The room had a quite a musty smell but we got used to it and if you come home late parking can be tight. The staff were very friendly and everything was clean.

There is much to recommend in The Harbour House: first and foremost its friendly and helpful staff. Whether they were on the front desk, in housekeeping or in the dining room, they were always cheerful and eager to assist. Our "standard" room was very clean, with good quality bed linens, recently upgraded windows and a heat pump unit which allowed for individualized temperature control of the room. The dining room was charming and the breakfast menu, though limited, was always promptly served, nicely presented and very fresh. Our only disappointment was our bathroom which, though functional, was in urgent need of an upgrade. We acknowledge that renovations are expensive to undertake, but we would certainly consider this improvement a priority. For visitors considering this B&B, it is also useful to know that, because the building is old, there is no elevator and so transporting a suitcase up three flights of stairs is doable but a bit awkward. In all, though, we appreciated the convenient location of The Harbour House, in a quiet neighbourhood yet close to the town centre, and its excellent staff.

Old world feel with a great breakfast and beautifully maintained facility with a great staff

Nice B&B. Walking distance to downtown, waterfront and restaurant. Young guy at reception was efficient and courteous. Older building - we hear footsteps on the wooden floors ....remind us of our own home. Pleasant and interesting decor.

This was a nice room and was very clean. The staff member that checked us into the room was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of dining options and areas to check out during our stay.

Pretty good value

Although our room was comfortable some features could be updated and cleaned such as drapes.(lots of stains) The bathroom fixtures were old (rusty) The mattress box spring was dirty and needed to be vacuumed. The breakfast was good start to our day.

Nice old building that was two blocks from the downtown area. Great, helpful staff, clean room. It is an older building so some creaks and groans in floor and may be dated to some but this just added to the old town Charlotte experiance. Older smaller room but we only want a place to sleep. Bed was comfortable.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and property well maintained.

I have nothing more to add. We had a lovely stay.

The breakfast was tasty, hot and quick. The service was good at breakfast and at the desk- employee even carried our luggage up two flights of stairs. The shared spaces were in very good shape and appealing.Did our own laundry and facility for that was fine. The bathroom in our room was lacking - mirror and fixtures were dusty and toilet seat was extremely loose. We asked for it to be fixed and it was but quickly became loose again- obviously the threads were shot.the exterior of the building is very tired and needs some effort.

This was our second time staying at the Harbour House Inn. Simply, another great experience. Wonderful room, excellent breakfast(included) and attentive staff. Check-in was easy and fast. The Inn has both character and all the services and elements that one would need to have an enjoyable stay. Our go-to place when staying in Charlottetown.

We liked the location, it was close to downtown. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but the management needs to be more pleasant and friendly. Also, we had a bad experience with the night desk staff who did not want to provide a wash clothe and I felt like I had to beg for an extra wash clothe before it was given. I would not recommend this facility to my family or friends or stay here again.

Room was great. Parking was tight. We were on top floor, no elevator, and had big bags to carry, but overall nice place, and walkable area.

Ok stay but nothing special.

The hotel felt tired. We felt it was very expensive for what it was. The breakfasts were ok but nothing special. Limited choice. The bed was comfortable. Easy walking distance of town.

Too expensive, too old ! Squeaky bed and no soundproofing ! Clearly not worth the 300$ for the night

The inn was homey and comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay.

Too much furniture for such a small room. Mattresses terrible very uncomfortable sleep. The washroom lacking light, very small. Sink terrible location, needs full length mirror. Breakfast waffles served cold. Maybe let your guest know there is a coffee maker at the entrance.

Great location, experience, and service. Staff were all very helpful and attentive. Has everything you need. Nice selection at breakfast and like that it's included. Will be back and would recommend!

It was a beautiful old house. I wish I had known that my room was on the third floor, I'm not good with stairs and there was no elevator. The staff kindly carried my suitcase upstairs for me. Breakfast was nice but a bit small. One egg and a half of an English muffin. Great parking. Nice neighborhood for walking.

A wonderful stay! Loved the patio off the room!

We were disappointed in our stay at The Harbour House. The King bed wad incredibly hard and uncomfortable and the bathroom was in need of a deep cleaning and repairs. There was hair at the bottom of the bath tub so we did not want to bath our toddler in a dirty tub and some tiles were not attached and just leaning up against the wall. Breakfast was decent and the location with parking was nice but there are so many places to stay in the same area so I would look elsewhere for your money.

In a quiet location. Easily walk to the theater, waterfront, park, shopping. Great made to order omelette for breakfast.

Great location

This is a great location within walking distance of centre of Charlottetown. However the hotel is in need of a bit of updating. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Great that washing machine and laundry detergent made available. Breakfast was good

Excellent staff, very friendly, lovely breakfast

There was considerable mold on the gutters and down spouts on the back side of the house. I had a third floor suite with outer deck. from the deck I was 1' away from the mold. All other aspects of the stay were excellent.

Lovely spot to stay in the heart of downtown Halifax.

We loved that we felt like we were staying in a "home". The common areas were getting for hanging out. Loved the historic feel of the area.

Liked the general welcoming feel of the hotel. We were in a basement room and I have a sensitivity to mustiness. There was a very slight mustiness, but there was a dehumidifier in the room.

Perfect spot walking distance to everything with lovely breakfast to start our day. Only disappointment was that we were looking forward to use bicycles as advertised but unfortunately they were stolen a few days prior to our arrival.

We loved our stay at this B&B. The breakfast was divine. The staff makes you feel VIP and are so professionnal. Great place to stay at. The room was perfect for us.

Terrific breakfast!

Lovely room. Unfortunately it was on the third floor so we had to carry our bags up several flights of stairs. Small room but had everything we needed. It would have been nice to be closer to the downtown. Lots of parking for all guests. Great Breakfast.

Room with kitchenette and king size bed was very nice and in great condition. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and the many options. The location is great, only a few blocks from Queen St and the waterfront, easily walkable, and a quiet neighborhood. Parking was available behind the B&B, but could be a little tight when the B&B is full.

Nice place, very clean and tidy, the atmosphere is chill and the staff is very friendly.

Great stop on our east coast trip. Liked the amenities of a small kitchenette. In walking distance to many shops/restaurants. Breakfast (included) consisted of a continental breakfast as well as hot entrées.

Highly recommend

Wonderful breakfast and courteous staff. There was daily maid service, much appreciated. Queen Street is just two blocks away so we were able to walk to the area restaurants.

Was awesome to stay in a beautiful old hotel! Friendly staff and nice rooms!

Not your standard hotel. A very nice house converetd into a hotel so lots of character and my room was excellent. Made me feel like I was staying at home.

Great location, in the heart of Historic downtown Charlottetown; just a couple of minutes walk to shopping, theatre, restaurants, and waterfront. Loved having a mini refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle, Keurig coffee machine in my room! Air Cond worked perfectly & staff was so helpful & friendly! Good sized parking lot behind the property, so no need to find random parking spots on the street. The only thing I’d recommend to the owners would be it’d be much nicer if they trimmed the big tree in front, it’d make the hotel look so much more cleaner & appealing on the outside! In any case we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & plan to return next time we travel to beautiful PEI!

Awesome place to stay. Sort of like a cross between a Bed & Breakfast and a boutique hotel. Easily walk to downtown and the waterfront. Parking can be tricky and our room in the basement was dark and dank.

Second Summer & will return.

This is our second summer staying at The Harbour House. Absolutely cannot recommend this B&B enough. Conveniently located, walking distance to everything in historic and harbour-front Charlottetown. The hot breakfast is delicious, rooms are comfortable with AC, and parking is included.

It was very cozy and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We had a very wonderful and comfortable stay at the Harbour Hotel. They didn’t hesitate to checked us in before 3pm since our room was already ready when we got there. Neighborhood felt safe and everyone is just friendly. There are a lot of near by restaurants, food is definitely not a problem. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was delicious! Our room was comfortable spacious with a good running cool AC, bed was very comfortable and neatly made. All in all experience was a 10/10 for us. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful location and building. I wished my stay was longer.

Great little B&B. Staff are very good, breakfast was enjoyable. Facilities are very clean and well kept. This is a historic building, so you can hear those above you walking around. Thankfully during our stay the other visitors were also very quiet. If they were not, it has the potential to be noisy. If you are a light sleeper keep this in mind and bring your ear plugs.

Lovely spot! Hidden gem. I usually stay elsewhere but it was full. Lucky for me, I found Harbour House. Overall it was excellent. And the breakfast here is amazing.

This property is a lovely Bed and Breakfast in an older home that is beautifully decorated with antiques. We had a basement suite and although it was clean and well equipped it was damp. On day 2 we mentioned it to staff and they alerted us to a dehumidifier in the room. It helped but was noisy and still damp. I’m sure the upper suites were much better. Parking is very tight. Breakfast was wonderful and staff we very polite and helpful.

Not worth the money. Very noisy on first floor. Why any place with wood floors not have insulation or runners. Beds felt like sleeping on plywood. Towels are old old old. Breakfast portions we for kids.
