I enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and the helpful staff. The breakfast options were good, and the rooftop restaurant and lounge were fantastic.
Location was great. Service was great. Roof top was great
A nice little hotel near the Termini Station. Friendly staff (24 hrs service). Excellent breakfast. The room was nice, clean and quiet. An excellent value - I would stay here every time.
Nice, clean and beautiful environment!
Quiet and clean
Quiet location and we were on the ground d floor! Friends staff our room was ready at 11 it was perfect timing when we got there. Bed was perfect, bathroom had everything you need , it was very clean staff was very nice and checkin and check out was easy. Rooftop bar had an amazing view and we watched the sunset , cocktail was fantastic! AC worked great!
Hotel checkin receptionist did not smile or greet us upon arriving. One would think customers service is importance in this industry. Also moldy showers. Other than that good size room.
Excellent breakfast Comfortable beds
The guy at the front desk
Perfect location. Next to the Train station. Quiet, clean, friendly staff.
Super convenient location, lovely staff and breakfast selection was plentiful
Staff were very helpful
Loved the breakfast options and the convenient location.
Very nice hotel. The staff at front very helpful and especially at the breakfast service. Location is safe and walkable to transportation and there are few restaurants nearby.
The staff were helpful and friendly. Andres was the best, gave us lots of information on how to get around. The food was excellent. I will definitely stay here when I come back to Italy.
Muy pequeñas las habitaciones . En general lo mejor fue el desayuno
Hotel stay was brilliant, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did get woken up with the building work. So just be careful staying on the 4th floor at the moment. Other than that, couldn’t fault it
Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were modern and stylish. We found a wonderful restaurant right down the street. Centrally located to walk to Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps. The Tremini Terminal is a bit over a mile away where they also have shopping and a nice food court.
Hotel was excellent, clean very friendly staff. Would return.
Rooms are too small. The restaurant is small and dark. The hotel does not have a lobby area. Our flight arrived early, it was raining and we did not have a place stay until our room was available. It is closed to Repubblica and Termini station, but a little far from all the touristic places.
Well located for exploring Rome and surrounding area. Near metro station and main train terminal. Room was a good size and was very quite. Good range of options on the breakfast buffet.
Hotel was in around 40 minutes far from major attractions in Rome.
Perfect room for the weekend stay walking distance to most and the room was really clean. The only thing that let it down a bit on the last day there was a strange smell coming from the drain in the shower. Not that it was worth mentioning as we were leaving. Staff were really friendly and helpful would definitely book again
Awesome service
The location is really nice. Close to Termini subway station, walkable distance from fountain Trevi and piazza Venice, also Spanish Steps. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious and big selection of cookies and sweets. coffee is fantastic and every morning you can drink natural fruit juice. The main inconvenience is the elevator. It’s tiny and only 2 person can fit if you don’t squeeze yourself. Thanks for your friendly welcome and wonderful staff.
Excellent Stay at The Guardian Hotel, Rome 🇮🇹🍷 I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Guardian Hotel in Rome, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with recommendations and directions. The hotel itself is stylish and modern, with clean, well-appointed rooms that offer a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly😁 One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast buffet, featuring fresh pastries, eggs, fruit, and great coffee—perfect for fueling up before a day of sightseeing. The location was also fantastic—just a short walk to Termini Station, making it easy to reach all the major attractions, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, The Guardian Hotel offers great value, excellent service, and a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Rome!
Overall a good stay and a nice hotel. Breakfast was good however the area to get food was small and too compact. Rooms nice and always cleaned very well. Only problem we encountered was noise, 1 from air con and from the room above on 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed which was very frustrating and had to call reception 4 times. Good restaurants around area.
perfect for exploring rome, 3 minute walk from the metro.
Definitely recommend staying here! Staff was great, location was convenient, lots of dining options around.
Loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient location, only about a 12 min walk to Roma Termini. There is also a bus stop right across the street. In a nice and quiet area with plenty of good restaurants around.
Property was lovely, the staff fantastic. Room top bar was amazing. Only down fall was the ground floor was noisy could hear every person coming and going even the reception telephone. If we was on a higher floor it would have been perfect. Great location amazing staff lovely and clean
Extremely helpful and conscientious staff.
Excellent hotel with friendly & helpful staff . We would recommend this hotel to family & friends
Very friendly staff
The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. We couldnt have a nice sleep on our stay.
Very good
very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable hotel within easy reach to main attractions lovely neigbouhood with restaurants and supermarket right there
Breakfast was not available on day of departure, requesting refund of 45 Euros for three people the cost of breakfast.
Very helpful concierge!
Clean, safe and the staff was very friendly. Great breakfast
Great location to the main train station and many of the archeological sites. The hotel was clean, well appointed and with super friendly and helpful staff. For a variety of restaurants avoid the tourist locations.
Complementary drinking water will be better for guests. No in room coffee machine is not cool. Cleanliness and friendly staff stand out.
The location and breakfast were great. The hot water can get some improvements. The experience was very good!
Good breakfast.
Very helpful stsaff
Location is not too good but the service and anything else is great
The hotel totallly expected our expectation. It’s located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, we were able to take a nap in the afternoon after we just got in without interruption. Room and facilities were very clean and daily breakfast had tons of selections and very fresh. Easy to get to the bus stops and train station.
Elevator didn’t work and I had to get the starts with 4 luggage
The staff in the hotel were helpful and friendly and our room was clean and nicely decorated. Bed and pillows really comfortable. We had a front aspect with a lovely little balcony but you can hear the traffic and buses are noisy until fairly late at night. Breakfast has all you could want in terms of variety and the tiny little custard filled ‘balls’ with the sweet pastries were amazing! Rooftop bar is gorgeous, even in November but the drinks bill was the priciest we paid for our whole trip. We thought the experience worth it though. We walked to all the big attractions from the hotel but if your mobility is limited then you might be better taking a more central hotel as it was 30-40 minutes of walking. Beautiful walks if that is your thing though. Both nights we stayed we ate in wonderful local Italian restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Lots to choose from and not overly expensive. Don’t ask the hotel to arrange your taxi to and from the airport. Their quote was 175 euro each way but a taxi from the nearby train station and picking one up from the airport taxi stand was only 40 euro each way for 4 adults with 2 cases.
We found the staff to be helpful, breakfast was great and it was clean and modern. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Especially liked the rooftop terrace for a drink at the end of the day, the bartender knew his stuff as did all the staff. The view from the terrace at night was stunning. Will stay again. Will stay again.
Nice spot
Great hotel and location
Nothing to complain about here. It was perfect. The rooms are newly renovated with a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was fresh with a lot of options. The staff from the front desk to the breakfast room to the maintenance guys were terrific.
Beautiful hotel with outstanding service.
Great location and staff were very helpful. Would recommend.
Great property love the bar on the roof. The service was outstanding. The location was perfect. Highly recommend.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They can speak English well. Breakfast was good with many options. The location is roughly 15-20min walk from the Rome terminal and there are also bus stops nearby. However, on a flip side, two things to note. 1) you will be charged the city tax for hotel which is normal and expected 2) I got the room G07 and it’s the first room located on the ground floor, near the reception and the main entrance. It’s very noisy and loud. The window in the room is not able to fully close. You can hear people talking, dog barking and heavy engine sound whenever a car drives by. It has impacted my sleep quality which is something that I dont like.
Nice and clean place to stay!
Not a 4 star.
An average hotel. Definitely not on par with 4 star hotels. Tiny rooms and bathrooms didn’t have good lighting, or space for toiletries. Beds seemed old and worn. The hotel could use an upgrade. The positives: Great location and lovely staff. Breakfast was very good.
Great Hotel!
Great stay. The room we had was small but cute. Staff was friendly and parent to work with.
The breakfast was poor
Had a lovely three night break in Rome. Stayed at The Guardian Hotel polite smiley receptionist greeted us on arrival & explained everything. Staff in the breakfast room & rooftop bar were all polite & helpful Clean room with everything provided. A little out of town but still walkable, perfect break.
Great hotel
Wonderful hotel in a good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Would recommend and stay again.
The hotel is very nice and breakfast was wonderful. Staff and room great. The property was fae from Rome attractions. 30 min walk to Trevi and all the shopping. It was near the train station and metro, but still 15 min walk. Very nice restaurants around the corner but super quiet and nothing to do in the immediate area. Price was high at close to $400 a night. Not even a free water in room.
I did not have a positive experience during my stay. The hotel is in a great location but expensive for what you get in return. A personal item was also stolen from my room while I was visiting. The rooms are small. The bathroom very small. The shower is tiny. The hallways throughout the hotel are very narrow so you can get blocked in easily with staff when they are walking by with equipment. There is also constant banging and noise throughout the small hotel. Also, a staff member (maid?) took my clothes steamer from my room when they entered and cleaned my room. The maid staff entered my room even though I had the do not disturb sign on the door handle. I reported this to the front desk staff but they didn't seem to care. I WOULD NOT stay here again.
EVERTHING WAS GREAT, JUST FOUND THE ONE BARTENDER ON THE TERRACE WAS RUDE AND EXTREMELY GRUMPY
Love this hotel we had an anazing experience thank you
The staff are really kind, beds are comfy with high quality bedding, breakfast is really good
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at The Guardian. The hotel is centrally located and walkable to the train station and has an amazing rooftop with a great view. Perfect place for a drink after a day of exploring the city. The staff are also very friendly and took great care of us during our stay.
Overall the property was good for our 3 night stay to tour Rome. From Termini it was about a 20 min walk with our rolling luggage (recommendation: w/luggage, grab a taxi). We were about a 10 min walk to the Metro (Castro Pretorio) which rapidly gets you to the sites. We took Uber and taxi if we needed to be somewhere early (Vatican for a 07:30 tour) or were trying to reach an area not as convenient by train alone (Trastevere, Campo di Fiore, Jewish Ghetto, etc). As far as the hotel, the rooms were very tight but from what I understand that is pretty standard at this price point and area. A/C was hit or miss. Some nights it worked too good and some nights wasn’t sure if it was even on. Reception staff was excellent. Breakfast spread was plentiful and delicious. Again, for 2-3 nights this place will work. If longer, might want to stay closer to the tourist sites.
Excellent location in a nice quiet area, roof top bar was great, if not a touch expensive perhaps, bed was very very comfy, room was slightly on the small side and the shower was a bit hit and miss, but lovely and clean.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Safe and quiet neighborhood.
The staff seemed overwhelmed.
Great location and friendly staff.
Was a great stay
Very good, would definitely stay again
It was lovely. Breakfast staff and reception staff were lovely
Very good place to stay
Pleasant experience staying at the guardian for 5 days. It was a bit far from the main attraction but close to termini station if we wanted to take the train but we choose to walk and explore the city. The continental breakfast was a plus and the roof top is cute.
A great hotel with very nice front desk stuff. Fabiana and Ileana were super nice and helpful. I would have hired them to represent my businesses if I could. The room was spacious and modern. The breakfast was great. The location was very safe right next to the British Embassy and gave you a real feel of living in Roma, not very touristy. The AC in the room worked great which is a must for 90 degree days.
I absolutely love this place. From the staff, location and convenience is a family group’s dream. Room is enough for two parents, a kid and a baby ( I booked the family room)and it’s quite at night. Bathroom needs some upgrade but overall good. I am so happy and very well rested. We also got to enjoy the rooftop lounge for a bit while the kids rest. Their breakfast was good as well! Bus stop is close to the hotel which is a huge plus! I will book to this place again when I come back to Rome! Thank you for providing us such a wonderful time and experience.
Good price for the area. Not far from train station and public transportation.
Fantastic stay. Lovely resort all around
There are lots of good restaurants around the area… close to the station and bus stops. The staff is very friendly.
Nice friendly staff very helpful. The room is small. One restaurant on site food is good, price is good. One elevator wait time is long. Nice clean hotel recommend to stay. Thank you all staff
small but comfortable rooms, there was a leak in the bathroom, but everything else was fine
Cost-benefit 9/10. small but comfortable rooms, there was a leak in the bathroom, but everything else was fine
The property was very clean and staff helpful and friendly. The lift is very small as is the check-in area. Overall a great hotel. We would stay here again.
Excelente
The service was excellent
Friendly and helpful staff, and a nice hotel. It was only a less than ten-minute cab ride to the center attractions. My room smelled like mildew, which bothered my allergies, but other than that, it was great!
Wasn’t too crazy about the location nothing bad nothing good I just did not do enough research of where I personally wanted to be. That’s all.
Great location , very clean and staff was very very nice and helpful , nice rooftop to enjoy a dinner and drinks .
The front desk employees are freindly
Very friendly and helpful staff! My room smelled like mildew, which bothered my allergies, but other than that, it was nice.
Wonderful hotel and friendly employees. Lots of great neighborhood restaurants within walking distance. Modern and clean rooms with well-stocked mini fridge.
very noisy AC and not very efficient but great hotel closed to Roma termini. Ideal to visit Rome
Is a New Hotel in a old building
This is a great little hotel and I’d definitely recommend. Location wise, it’s a little bit further away from the hustle and bustle and main sites, but Castro Pretoria M Station is a short walk away which gives easy access into the city. Loved the roof top bar (for me, the hotel’s best feature) with beautiful views! And the buffet breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly and even gave me a free room upgrade - thankyou!
We had a wonderful Four- night stay starting with the check in. We were warmly, greeted and welcomed by Andres at the front desk. He took his time to explain all the hotel's amenities and important information. Also, Andres greeted us every day of our stay and continued to make us feel welcome. He is an asset to this hotel. I also want to give a special note of gratitude to Margarita for providing excellent service with a smile during breakfast and in the patio dining area. Margarita also made us feel right at home. Finally, a special thank you to Lucresia who did an impeccable job with the upkeep of the room. She is very efficient and pays a lot of attention to detail. Even though her job is not easy, she still manages to keep a smile on her face at all times. Faume came to the rescue when the toilet in our room malfunctioned. He fixed the problem in less than 2 minutes. He has a positive attitude and also always has a smile on his face. All in all, we had an excellent stay at The Guardian hotel. Please make sure to take some time to recognize each individual for all their hard work and dedication. Keep up the great customer service and hospitality. We can't wait to tell all our friends and family about our experience. Until next time!
