Could smell the smoke inside my room throughout my whole visit. Staff are nosy and don’t mind taking photos of the guests as they’re having their breakfast (Happened with me). Requested some ice to my room and had to pay for it. Top that with the fact that no one is able to speak English. Terrible experience that I won’t be repeating for sure!

The property is very old

Hotel needs a major renovation. Very good staff. But no refrigerator in the room. Floor and bathroom needs repair. Decent food.

Receptionists and other employees were so kind and helpful, rooms were clean, breakfast buffet was really good and delicious, gym was clean and they have lots of equipment, they also have free underground parking. Affordable prices and great services in the very good location.

Dirty room, full of smoke coming from other rooms. The area around the hotel is rough. Every night the police will show up in the middle of the night to catch or control a drunk messy person. Parking entrance is awful. Bathroom is small and the shower is damaged. Awful stay, does not deserve one star!

Everything is good to very good clean quiet spacious kindness from staff. But two should be watched and reviewed by the management team: they must remind people to not smoke through room windows. I did not feel that I am in the five stars hotel

First of all the hotel needs some renovation. Second of all spa is out of services, jacozi is spoiled and you have to pay 50 tl it seems for hair cap before entering the swimming pool in spite of being free. I requested attached rooms since we are family they gave two rooms of single beds, Breakfast buffet was very good

There were everything so bad .. shower not working, Rude staff, room was nit comfortable. Smells bad .. sauna ,steam ,swimming times was early to close .. No recommend for others to regret later as I do now …. Have to pay for all these things which was so expensive. Take advantage if you go from Europe or England … mini bar was expensive ..

They put me and my small baby in a smoker room. She coughed very bad all night. They also turned ac at hot temperatures at night off. The ac was giving out only hot air. When we complained they said open the window. My child got bitten badly by insects. Pure horror stay away at all costs.

The hotel is just a bit old but its still in good condition, spacious room,excellent service. The unforgettable experience was the Turkish Bath. I was in Turkey many times and I could definitely say they gave us the best Hamman experience ever fora reasonable price. We would recommend it to our friends and relatives and I would definitely book an appointment again there when I return to Turkey again.

1- The reception staff and bell boys are very helpful and do a great job, I got another room which was good . The breakfast was a continental because of corona virus. The hotel not a new hotel but clean.

Air-conditioning doesn’t work, key card problem

This is not a 5 star . I don’t know how they got five stars? Their air condition is very old , door key card you have to recharge every day and wait in the reception queue for 15 or 20 minutes , wi-Fi in the room works some times. The air-conditioning doesn’t work is is very old and outdated and the staff are good at lying about this ! This is very bad business practice . The key card has really bad problem the system is outdated and old, if you’re staying there for more than one day you still have to go every day at the reception to get your key card reactivated this could take between 5 to 20 minutes depending on how many people are waiting in front of you reception only has one person working there. Sure this hotel was better like built like a five star but now it’s run down I would blame the management and maintenance , Everything is outdated . If you want to have a good nights sleep stay away from this place . The Wi-Fi only works in certain spots in the room. You would expect five-star hotel to provide you with Wi-Fi and basic air-conditioning this is not a five star I don’t know how they managed to get five stars if you go to any hotel in Istanbul you should get air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. It’s 2020 this Hotels are still living at 1960 And the wallpaper peeling off you can see some photos

This hotel does not deserve a 5 star rating. Building and interior is 25-30 years old. Lamps and AC not working. Unfriendly staff, comminication in english difficult, we were told of breamfast time 7-11 but it was actuallg 7-10 and we missed first days breakfast. Housekeeping to staffs conditions, if you are in room then no cleaning of room. Rooms and bathroom dirty. In fact we had better standard and service in a 3-star hotel in Çeşme (Izmir)

All nights that i stayed at this hotel my room was never cleaned up by the staff. When i booked this hotel it was showing that their is air condition in it but it was just heat.

check in and check out staff was not friendly, did not acknowledge me and was multitasking with other guest after me. I had to ask if I was done checking in and checking out since there was no acknowledgment. the only person who really helped me was the staff who brought me up to my room hotel restaurant food was not good. did not enjoy dinner, food had no taste. breakfast included and it was ok.

this hotel was very very dirty,they didn't come to clean the room daily, they used paper cup instead glass one so I can not accept this matter for 5 star hotel and even when I complain they didn't do any reaction. I booked for 2 person but they provided every things ect buttel of water, coffee , cup for just one person. bed and chir and coffe table and dresser drawers was too old. on the floor has n't got even small carpet. very small tv , no design, no spare toilet paper. totally terrible.never ever going to this hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Green Park Hotel Merter. We needed a hotel not too far from the airport for an early morning flight. The breakfast was delicious and we completely enjoyed the fitness and spa amenities.

I found the room and the bathroom quite large and clean. If it happens to forget your toiletries at home, you will find most of them articles you need (shaving cream, tooth paste, tooth brush, shaving razor) in the bathroom offered as compilmentary. Same for coffee and tea

It was a great stay, this is not my first visit to this hotel and i really enjoy it. everything was perfect in this visit.

Close to the airport, otherwise not worth it.

Staff were snobby, unfriendly, and spoke little English. With exception of the lady at the front desk, she was nice and cooperative, but had poor english skills. I arrived and had lost my passport in thecaurport, which is completely my own fault...but they were not cooperative to allow me to use the phone to call the airport. When they did it, it was obly after I had begged them to do it. The bell boy empathized with me and spoke to me in a calm manner, but the manager seemed to be dismissive and snobby; he was actually judgemental! They later put me in a twin bed room ( I booked a double bed room), and when I went to ask them to change my room, they told me they are fully booked and that until tomorrow, they cant do a thing for me. So, the first night, I had to sleep in a single bed, staring at an empty single bed! Breakfast was a huge selection of breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, fruits and salads...cant fault it...except for the sliced bread...it was literally frozen and you can't eat it unless you toast it first, otherwise enjoy the stake frozen bread! The intenet connection is slow and barely connects anyway.

Stayed Overnight Due to Cancelled Flight

Stayed here overnight after our Turkish Airlines flight was cancelled. Room was clean and the hotel looks very inside. Staff was friendly and check in was easy. Good hotel.

they need to go long way before they get the five star.. Whoever rated this hotel i dont know what planet they are from.. When I arrived at the hotel I sent my stuff to dry cleaned to be ready nex day.. Nex day only one third of the stuff was there rest was missing..they assured me they will have the rest by the time i got back. Room shower was broken i called the service he came and fixed it but left the bathroom muddy and told me he will send someone to clean it.. I came back late I was shocked my bathroom was never cleaned so i had to clean it in order for me to use it annd only half of the stuff came back from from the dry clean.. Next morning i went to see the manager he was helpfull but not enough he offered another room on top of it he was arguing with me that i had all of my stuff back from the dry clean. Told him my three boss suits missing..he told me he woud look in to it.. I switced my room next day my suits arrived.. At the end they charged me one hafty fee for the dry clean $538 turkish lira was about $220 and lost my four pair of socks ..

Hotel in midle of Istanbul

We spend one night in hotel, got geat discount tru expedia. Lady who was in charge for guest matters was geat. I would give her one star from this 4 stars in hotel. It is little older facility but in good condition. I would recomend it.

3 day stay

It's a drive to the Historical sites but it's closer to the airport. Staff suggested using trains but I was glad I rented a car. BTW there are 2 international airports in Istanbul !! Staff was very conscious and courteous and they all spoke English.

Fairly straight forward checkin late in the evening, fromt desk staff reasonably welcoming and realisdd that i will need an internet connection and therefore put me in a room close to the router... room had no iron and biard. I asked for one but was toldsuch request can only be dealt by house keeping at 8.30am. the room was hot, really hot i cud not sleep. I called for a fan but never came up.then noise from nearby construction kept left me with 3hrs sleep. I complain about noise and heat and was told that room will be changed Unfortunately came back of my bisness visit late at night a was told that no other room was available and that the cleared the aircon filter. Room became a little more comfortable but not really ideal..

No AC

Ac doesn't work! Staff very rude! Told me to wait 4 hours to talk to a manager who would come in later on in the morning. Stay away from this hotel!

Nice hotel with no air conditioning

We spent two night at this hotel thinking that was going to be a nice stay. It would have been if the air conditioning worked and the electricity did not go in the Merle of night for two hours with back up generator I am not staying here again

Convenient to Metro but away from the action

Other reviews about this hotel mention the rooms being too warm. That is very true. Even this fall with it being cooler outside the room was too warm with the window open. Could not leave the window open at night because of 2am mosque prayer broadcasts and other random street noise. Otherwise, the hotel was very good. Staff spoke reasonable English and bartender Adem was really nice and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was excellent. Had dinner there one night and the food was very good.

1 night stay

it was a good hotel according to the offer i got. staff was good. Room was standard double room for one person, but it was terrible night without air cooling, it was just fan. The smell was stinky for all the time of stay. they said because of the new furniture, i don't know.....!!!! pictures show the hotel more better then the reality. swimming bool was useless,only 1.5m depth also not allowed to jump. THE EXTRA THING IS THAT you have to pay money for hair cup. the location was not good for tourist but okay for business men, it was near the airport have a nice stay.

Not a morning or evening passed without hotel management coming to enquire if we were enjoying our stay. All the staff were very friendly and did their utmost to assist and if there was a language difficulty called management. The breakfast was excellent in every respect. The Dinner Menue was somewhat limited and the food could certainly have been better especially considering how good the breakfast was. The hotel was clean comfortable and well staffed with more than adequate facilities. Being outside the city turned out to be an advantage as the tram and Metro links were so good.
