Second Amazing Visit

This is my second visit to Gonzo Inn. I enjoyed the quiet location, spacious room and the complimentary breakfast. The front desk guy has so much positive energy, he've brighten my days.

Beautiful setting, friendly front desk, but not responsive to simple requests.

Great place to stay. Especially if you have a bike. Great owners.

Favorite Hotel in Moab

Fun hotel stay with great customer service. The breakfast in the morning had great options including a breakfast panini sandwich that was delicious. Our room had a small outdoor area with chairs and gravel area.

Staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to move me to a ground level room. Property is well maintained and clean. Very convenient for dog as there is open areas to walk then. Will stay here again

Great little spot in Moab

Super cute place, great location in the center of Moab and the staff were really friendly and accommodating.

The jetted bathtub and the fireplace and balconies were awesome perks!

Incredibly friendly staff or owners not sure which but wow were they nice. the rooms were clean and the area was ok. It's a small Utah town and for what we paid it was great. We will be going again if only just for the amazing service.

Loved the property and the rooms were very nice and spacious. The amenities were great. Has a cute patio outside room and pool. Parking was easy and convenient to our room. Restaurant had a good breakfast and staff was friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous accommodations in Moab!

We were impressed with the suite accommodations & restaurant at this inn in the middle of Moab. We will be back.

Great little hotel!

This is a great hotel. It appears to be converted apartments, so we had a bedroom and a living room with a small dining/kitchen area. The room was very clean and the walk in shower was amazing. This is the only property I will stay at when returning to Moab.

Great stay!

We loved our stay and will definitely return. We loved the two balconies, the jetted tub, the service, all of it. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was so kind and helpful. They kept the hot tub open late for us, and when things did come up like a key not working, they were very quick to help. The mattress was not my favorite, but I’d still stay there because of the staff. It was also a very fair price for what we got!

I was recommended this hotel by a friend, who has stayed many times. I am SO glad that they booked! It was a fabulous place to stay. The rooms are clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable....and the spa is gorgeous! The staff could not be more helpful and friendly. All in all, we LOVED staying at the Gonzo Inn.

We had a suite-like room with an enclosed patio space. It was a bit off the main street, so fairly quiet and walkable to quite a few restaurants and shops. The breakfast place in the lobby was a bit slow, so allow enough time as you are planning your day. The pool was refreshing and the amenities in the room were nice.

Great place to stay. Walkable to everything you need on main st and the staff is exceptionally nice. We arrived well before check in and eventhough we didnt mind they put a rush to get our room ready early. The cafe attached is very convienient for a quick breakfast, coffee, or lunch. Walls are thin for sure but hostly by 7pm everyone was quiet so we didnt hear much and the hotel was packed our entire stay. Hot tub is small so we only enjoyed it one day as it was busy the rest of the time but it was a great time.

Very nice people staff this hotel. Super friendly. Could have taken a little better care of spider webs, but honestly no big deal. We loved our stay. It was really pretty great.

Wonderful staff and property

The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The ladies in the cafe were absolutely delightful and accommodating to a food allergy. We will stay here again!!

Nice, large room with a small balcony. Convenient to restaurants and shops. The hot tub is large and clean. The staff is friendly.

Comfortable suite with modern conveniences. A nice balcony to enjoy at the end of the day or morning coffee. On site breakfast with an allowance. We found the price of our modest choices to slightly exceed the allowance. Housekeeping is upon request only.

Wonderful, semi-funky property. Spacious suites, great views, lovely neighborhood and walking options.

The room was quiet and the bed very comfortable. It would have been nice to have a little more water pressure in the shower, but it was okay.

What a neat space this was. I only wish I had more time there. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was luxurious. The manager was also very kind and understanding when I had to check in after hours. I also enjoyed breakfast at the attached restaurant. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Moab spot

Perfect spot just blocks away from downtown Moab. Quiet and tucked away, The place was very clean and our family felt welcome by the friendly staff.

Staff was incredibly nice !!! They truly care about their guests!!! Breakfast was very good!!!

I had to argue with desk staff to get my breakfast tokens that were charged to my bill by hotels.com. Do not pay for $14 breakfast during booking. It was a total hassle. Just pay cash for your breakfast. There is no benefit to opting in to the breakfast pmt.

Hey Gonzo!! Nice Inn!!

Hotel for people who have no travel experience.

The breakfast is not free, we received $14 voucher per person which covered only price of my omelet, I had to pay$3 for coffee and the waiting time to get your breakfast is two long. The guy at the hotel desk wasn’t pleasant either. You can see tip jar at the front desk, I have no idea why. Never stay in this hotel even if the price drops by 50%.

Everything was perfect. When we got checked in they were so nice to us at the front desk. The room was clean, quiet, very comfortable and we loved the layout. The bed and the jacuzzi tub really helped because we did 26 miles of hiking on the trip. We really loved being able to lounge around in the couch too in the soft robes that were available. The towels and pillows were super soft as well. There is a little cafe attached to the hotel and they serve the best breakfast…I got the American breakfast which was so tasty, and today got the panini which was delicious. Plus the lady and man behind the desk were so friendly to us. We really appreciated that. It was our 19th wedding anniversary and so we wanted something really special and this was possibly the best hotel we had ever stayed at. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay at the Gonzo

The Gonzo Inn was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. The location is fantastic, close to the main strip but far enough away to feel a bit secluded. Our suite was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Cafe Italiano served a wonderful breakfast right onsite. The Gonzo beats the chain hotels all day long!

Beautifully maintained, super friendly staff, excellent location (1 block from Main St./shopping and eating).. a specisl shout out to Fatma, a darling young lady who provided attentive and superior service at the breakfast location, Cafe Italiano right within the hotel. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and plenty of sight seeing all within easy driving distance. The only place we will stay in while visiting Moab!! Thank you to the Gonzo Inn family...hospitality elevated!!

Quiet location, good air conditioning when it was 104° outside, helpful staff, bicycle storage, secure parking location.

Highly recommend The Gonzo Inn. We were visiting Arches National Park and Canyon Lands National Park and the location of The Gonzo was perfect. There were eating options in walking distance. Our room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate staying at The Gonzo Inn!

Stopped in for an overnight; pet friendly, room tidy and comfortable, near several restaurants and convenience store. Breakfast cafe was delicious, and I recommend anything from the coffee bar.

Cute little place off the Main Street in Moab,easy to walk for shopping and dining. Comfortable king bed, nice breakfast available for guests. Would recommen!

Great place to bring pets. There is plenty of outdoor space for them to do their business and a nearby trail for walks. The place is clean, quiet & the staff is great.

Perfect for relaxing and adventurous getaways

It's a fun place to stay in a great location downtown. I was checking it out prior to bringing my spouse and pets. I have criteria for pretty friendly lodging that includes space to place dog beds, not too many porous surfaces (carpet/upholstery that is hard to clean), and a tough balance between comfortable and durable. This place checked all the boxes and I will be returning with the fur family for sure!

Great service - cute spot that is clean, updated and affordable. Great find for a dog-friendly road trip spot. Would stop again next year on our annual “four corners road trip”.

2 guys at the front desk were awesome

Our family of four loved our recent 4-day stay here. Our king suite room was quite large - plenty of space for two adults and two kids and all our gear. The pool and hot tub were a great amenity. The Inn's location is very walkable and in a fun town. The included breakfast vouchers every day were the cherry on top and helped get us a good base for our national park adventures. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for reasonably-priced accommodations with lots of special features.

Junior suite is overpriced. Gives you adequate space but lacks design quality and charm. Floors were full of sand and lightbulb needed replacement. Would have liked a restaurant offering more than breakfast.

Not worth the price

This hotel had such a great rating but unfortunately I did not find out why. The walls are very thin so bring ear plugs. If your neighbor watches TV you will be able to hear it like it is in your room. Our room had a connecting door to the room next door which we kept closed, but when we went to bed the light from the connecting room flooded our room through the gap at the bottom - no wonder the sound comes through so easily. I had to stuff a towel under the door to block out the light. We stayed two nights and on the second morning we woke up to a foul raw sewage smell coming up from the shower drain that was so bad we couldn't use the bathroom. The bed is not memory foam which means that none of the movement is absorbed, so whenever my husband rolled over the entire mattress jiggled. If you sleep next to someone who moves a lot in their sleep, prepare to be shaken awake all night. It was convenient being within walking distance of restaurants and shops, but I definitely feel like I wasted my money.

Loved that it was on a quiet side street and had a a beautiful green lawn in the back. The $14 voucher for breakfast was so much better than powdered scrambled eggs and plastic packaged muffin that you get a chain hotels.

We liked the balcony, hot tub and pool. The room was a great size. Staff was excellent.

This hotel was much nicer than I expected it to be. We even got a room with a back door which was great for the dogs to run in the grass outside.

beds are really soft....

We've stayed at the Gonzo Inn several times. Management and staff were great! Room was comfortable, although voices in adjoining room were evident. Shower could use updating and lotion/shampoo/conditioner bottles could be larger/easier to get product out.

The property seemed a bit tired, worn, and dirty. Location in downtown Moab is fine if that is what you are looking for. The room was ample size but the trade off is a tired property which, in our car, smelled of pets.

All the staff were so nice and helpful. We had reservations and were driving from out of town, the front desk called to check on us as we were running behind for our check in. They were very accommodating so we didn’t have any problems getting to our room. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Beautiful

This hotel is quirky in a good way. We enjoyed clean rooms and having a hotel close to but not on the Main Street through town. We were less than a block away and could walk to most shops & restaurants in town. The rooms seemed on the small side and the walls were thin so we could easily hear our neighbors. But the decor was a bit different from a standard chain hotel and we had a nice personal patio overlooking the walking path with comfortable chairs so we could enjoy our morning coffee & tea.

Such a wonderful property. Full of personality, clean and so comfortable.

Cute and unique facility. No elevator, so carrying your suitcase to second floor rooms can be a challenge. Balcony was a nice touch and pleasant. The cafe was great, good food and friendly staff.

Loved our stay at the Gonzo Inn. Front Desk was extremely helpful, especially on very busy weekend. Room was spacious, clean and attractive. Great location and nice amenities including heated pool, hot tub and breakfast vouchers.

Nice property, close to good dining

My favorite hotel I have stayed at in a while! Room was awesome and loved the patios! Breakfast is wonderful, and the hot tub and pool were great! Only con was that the locks on the doors are a bit confusing and we locked ourselves out twice, luckily they were super friendly about letting us back in. Traveling with a cat and he has a great time.
