Was only here for 3 days however the staff were friendly and kind and all the guests respectable and good. Would definitely stay here again.
Prefect for me
The room was dated and the hotel is old
Very nice to stay in
Great getaway
Lovely hotel, friendly staff, good sleep, good breakfast and spectacular views from your sunbed. But.. had absolute bad food experience from the pool bar: very expensive, unprofessional for 4 star hotel, smelly chicken burger with old warmed up chips. We stayed away from there rest of our holiday
Family wedding
Hotel was nice enough, there was construction going on my sister who was getting married wasn’t informed of. 70% of staff were unhelpful and not friendly. Location was good, lots of steps that were a problem at times, good entertainment for children.
Great option for families and friends. Pretty relaxed. Pool was really nice and not too busy. Beach was close to the hotel and well kept. Staff were extremely helpful.
Absolutely brilliant place to go on holiday however , building works nearby has been frustrating at times . I think theyll be there for some time as well. Other than that it was perfect
Perfect
The location of this hotel is perfect. 10 minute walk to the main Protarus strip with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops. However far enough away to be quieter with a lovely beach.
Good hotel, enjoyed our stay.
Stelios the waiter and Areta in the SPA, outstanding service
Fantastic beach location with plenty of room for sand, grass or pool lounging. Excellent food - really good variety at breakfast. Room service was great.
Staff are so friendly. Hotel is beautiful on a safe sandy beach. Food choice good and varied. Animation team worked so hard brilliant shows every evening. Family aged 1 to 59 everyone had a truly fantastic time. Thank you so much. AI wine is terrible beer is good
The staff and facilities including the beach location are great although the bedroom was a bit dated, albeit very clean and perfectly acceptable.
Stayed for three nights before an upcoming wedding in June. Arrived he day the hotel reopened and was delighted by the hotel. Room was large, clean, and extremely clean. Staff were delightful, grounds around the hotel were immaculate. Great choice.
The hotel was fine, breakfast was not great though. Very basic. What I found unacceptable is that no one was asking guests to wear masks inside. Almost no one was wearing them even though there were signs up. The staff behind the desk weren’t often wearing them either. Wouldn’t stay here again.
Beautiful hotel, stunning views, lovely beach, fun vibe. Very cool beach bar, great entertainment. I’d definitely go back.
Great location, right on the beach and lovely pool! Food was ok, but got a bit tedious after a week. Bit hit and miss with the staff, some were fantastic, friendly and couldn’t do enough. Others were rude, didn’t look like they wanted to be there. Good for families. Rooms good size with bunk beds for a family with a screen partition but need a revamp!
This is a great property for vacation with smaller kids. However noise pollution damages otherwise great experience. The Good: - Food (all inclusive) was great. - Staff and especially kids entertainment programs were great and very helpful. Our kids really enjoyed kids entertainment. - The beach is calm and clean in the mornings - Hotel pool and slide is great for kids - Sea water was warm (in August) - Good yoga The Bad: - We had ocean view rooms and had trouble sleeping due to loud music late at night. Especially from weddings in the restaurants right below our windows. If you get ocean view room, don’t expect to sleep until at least 12 at night. - Right next to the hotel’s beach there is a super loud bar blasting crappy music all the time. - People “reserving” beach chairs with towels and leaving them overnight
Not worth the money we've paid for what we've got!
We have arrived at 6:30 in the afternoon, and though we booked 3ple room we had to wait for the extra bed to be placed in the room. We paid the supplement for HB basis, but dinner was awful, not worth the money we've paid. Breakfast was excellent, with great variety and much more than expected.
Great location, very friendly staff. But why change the towels everyday, when not left for changing?
A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting lovely staff cannot do enough to help you, it has sanitisers everywhere a very clean hotel. Breakfast was okay we do think it could be better for a 4star hotel.
A really well situated hotel, lovely beach, good pool with a good selection of snack bars.
PERFECT WEEKEND AT A SPECIAL HOTEL
Liked public areas and staff pleasant and helpful. Did not like the eating amenities, not to 4 star status i.e. all restaurants were self-service apart from the Italian food orientated area, all drinks were machine access. Clearly catering only for all inclusive tariffs. This hotel is in a lovely setting but not as we remember it as 4 star from a few years ago.
All the staff members were very uplifting and just made the hotel a million times better to be at!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast buffet was excellent especially the Cypriot table which was extensive.
The hotel ia dump, the Mediterranean restaurant and italian restaurant are excellent
I strongly recommend this hotel. Value for money
Great hotel. We stayed for 2 nights. All was as expected. Breakfast, service, underground parking, locstion... would visit again.
Great for families or romantic getaway
Check in is at 2, we arrived a bit early so were given the offer of keeping our bags in the store room and exploring the hotel. When the room was ready we booked in, bit of a mix up with our board, but that was quickly sorted when it was explained we'd booked all inclusive through hotels.com. We were in a superior double room with a hot tub, the room was extremely spacious, with a large bathroom and living area. The bed was described as a double but it was bigger than that. The room has tea and coffee making facilities, including an espresso machine. We had also been left a plate of fruit with some traditional Cypriot sweets. Outside there was a large balcony overlooking the sea, with a canopy over the top of the hot tub so no one could look down whilst you are trying to relax. There was one all inclusive restaurant, which is buffet style, the food was extremely good and a nice variety. There were a couple of other restaurants, but these were not included in all inclusive, they did give you a discount though. There are a number of bars about, figuring out what is included in all inclusive was a bit confusing though. I'd recommend the piano bar near reception, the pianist is extremely talented and make the effort of speaking to everyone between his sets, taking requests and putting his own spin on the songs. Even getting a sunbed near the pool or on the grass was easy, when we arrived after 12 there was still plenty of choice available
Great location. Service geared to all inclusive customers only.
We stayed there for a night with my fiancee, hotel is really nice, view from the room's balcony is amazing the room was clean and breakfast is really good and rich. It's a perfect getaway hotel for a couple looking to just relax or do stuff around the area and explore. With that being said, in two instances the hotel maid entered the room without knocking, once a few hours after we arrived (we didn't have the "do not disturb" sign on the door but we would still expect them to knock before entering a room) and the second time it was in the next morning with the "do not disturb" sign on the door and still entered the room without even knocking which was really really disturbing - no apology whatsoever they just left the room. Reception staff was notified upon our departure and they we were told that they will look into it. Other than that the experience was really good!
We met our relatives for a few days in cypress. We booked a superior room at Golden Coast Beach Hotel In Protaras. The moment we checked in, the staff was super nice and informative. The breakfast was good with a lot of varieties. The next day we encountered a little problem in our room with the internet connection. When I went to the reception and explained, the Duty Manager Andonis Papandonas, was super helpful; he instantly upgraded us to a beautiful suite with a very good internet connection. The pool and the lobby area are so relaxing, you just want to sit there. Krasimira and Milka at the reception were very sweet and always smiling. They made our vacation extra special at this hotel.
Our vacation was good. We enjoyed our stay
It was so good we dint want to leave. Going back again.
Great location, great beach and great staff
good hotel if looking for a holiday in Protarus area; nice beach - very safe. Hotel a short walk from bars and restaurants - plenty to do in area but also a good base to explore rest of island; would recommend hotel for families and couples although for couples I would expect hotel to be very busy with children during peak summer months as geared towards the family market; woudl recommend though;
3* at most. Maybe 2.5
So a mixed bag, staff were brilliant, they looked after me very well.. as i went all inclusive and it's a buffet style restaurant I thought being a vegan would be difficult.. but not really, i had a meeting arranged with the head chef to discuss my food requirements and at meal times the chef came and spoke to me and delivered my food with an explanation, other holidayers mustve thought i was famous... so I have nothing but praise for all the staff.. However.. 4* all inclusive it is not..... all inclusive starts at 1000 and stops at 2300hrs then you have to pay a rediculous price compared to local establishments. nothing in the mini bar is free, actually you don't get one... the alcohol options are few and cheap. You have to keep the 1 free bottle of water you get and continually fill it yourself.. im ok with sustainability and to reduce plastic waste but again i would have expected to have been told prior to booking.. there are far too many kids, I'm not against kids but maybe being told it's family orientated would be fair.. The rooms are very very basic and need some work.. I was in the "new" extension.. well.. new is putting it mildly.... for a hotel that expects you to keep the 1 water bottle you get and to refill rather than replace should at least have water stations in all parts and on all hotel floors.. Plenty of sun beds, there's no reserving, pool very clean... gym only open 0900-1800, no aircon!
Needs renovation
Old hotel, rather run down. Needs renovation. Difficult to find your way around. Very complicated to go from one place to the other. Nice view from our sea view room.
Nice family friendly hotel near the beach
Great hotel. We enjoyed our stay with our one year old . Nice clean swimming pool. Good facilities . Situated at th end of the bay. The only thing we felt requires improvement is the Food, but you get what you pay for . Overall a good experience .
Awful hotel do not go !
Excellent location for family holidays.
Excellent location for family holidays. Dissapointed with the beach, the sea was not clean. Also the building is quite old for the money paid. The italian restaurant and staff was excellent!
Sub-standard experience at Protaras
We booked a superior room which according to the hotel website was fully renovated (as all the rooms supposedly), however the reality was far from the statement. Yes, there were some new elements in the room, however most of the room was outdated, including the entire bathroom (had the oldest hair blower I have ever seen), the air-conditioning (smelled badly), balcony doors etc. The cleanliness of the room was also sub-standard (pillow cases dirty). To be fair, when we complained, they partly 'fixed' the smelly air-conditioning, but still not good enough as we had to keep the temperature at minimum (5 degrees) in order to stop sweating. The service at the 'Antamoma' bar is also seriously lacking as even at 10am (the place was empty) they wouldn't let us sit at at a table as they were 'reserved', obviously by ghost clients! When we complained, as my wife is heavily pregnant, they let us sit. Obviously, when people they knew showed up, suddenly the rules were a bit relaxed. Appalling customer service. Thankfully, hotel location is good, a bit away from busy Protaras, whilst the Italian restaurant in the premises was good with excellent service. All in all, not worth the money.
+Quite good and big superior seaview room, good location close to marina and beaches. + Complimentary basket of fruits, sodas and bottle of wine on check in. - Rare cleaning of garbage in a pool bar, always dirty and smelling toilet near the pool. - Тo lamp on the balcony
The hotel is very badly renovated. The mattresses, pillows, bed sheets and towels are very old, worn out, torn and dirty. This made our stay very uncomfortable
Greatest view
Great hotel clean rooms very good breakfast amazing view of the beach..paradise
Good but needs improvement.
We had booked for two adults + one child. The room had only a double bed so we had to inform them to bring an extra bed (which was not a very comfortable one). The room was not in the main building which was not actually very close to the hotel amenities. The building was not supervised by anyone except the cleaning ladies. The hotel's location was very good. The two restaurants were excellent as well as the lounge bars by the beach
very nice hotel
i love this hotel its super nice for family so many events. in addition its clean , room service super fast ,reception so welcoming. many varieties on food buffet , breakfast amazing many choices. i highly recommend it.
Great place, by the beach
The hotel was very nice. Had lots of things to do. Activities, food and drink and amazing view.
I've never stayed in this hotel even though I knew about it for so many years. I got a room at a good offer and went for it. Everything with respect of our stay was excellent. This is a very old hotel and the rooms are newly renovated and in excellent condition as well as most of the common areas. The exterior of the hotel and the corridors are appalling. Especially the corridors are from the 70-80s, smell bad and look terrible. If the owners renovated the rooms why did they leave the corridors out? I didn't take this into consideration for the rest of my stay but honestly I tried to close my nose and walk from the room to the elevator as soon as possible. BUT this won't hold me back from recommending it to others! It is a great hotel and a great locale. Two nights and didn't have to leave the hotel for anything. Just great :)
Perfect Family Break
Beautiful setting and fantastic staff. Food was also a great standard.
Great place to relax
Apart from the slow check-in, it was a very good experience.
Very nice hotel, guests received a plate of fresh fruit in their room and a complimentary bottle of wine. Great view of the sea, nice bay area with cheap boat tours available to take you along the coast.
Lovely hotel with great beach access
The hotel is almost on the beach so wlking by tghe sea is easy. The food and staff were very good. I'd certainly go there again.
Super nice staff. Hotel located in a beautiful part of Cyprus. Quiet and relaxing. Nice hotel. Good value for price.
Travelled as a family. Would say the facilities are basic, food is very basic and the snacks provided as part of the all inclusive package are awful. The drinks were also very poor! Having to pay €2 for Keo which is a 'local' beer is absurd! The enteratiment is late and not very good. The room was spacious and clean. Overall I wouldn't rate this hotel very highly.
Great place for a young Family
The entertainment staff were amazing. The location was beautiful. Not somewhere to go if you want mad nights out, but great for a family. The hotel could do with some maintenance and an update. The food was great.
close to the beach
Not value for money. We paid €2050 for 5 nights all inclussive 2 adults and 1 child. The extra bed was a broken camp bed and the food was buffet with too many different plates but of low quality. When we ordered from cataloque we have to paid extra so it was not 'all inlussive' and of course we dont mean tha we wanted to consume whiskys and champaign. Also one night as it was very hot we asked to sit on specific table under a fun Mr. Panikkos who was the head waiter in charge was very very arocant.
Memorable family escape
A luxury hotel suitable mainly for families with day and night entertainment. Big swimming pool with a slide. Very nice sandy beach. Restaurants and bars and everything you will need to make your stay memorable and enjoyfull.
The look of recently built But pleasant enough
Normal ok pleasant Family hotel therefore should be reviewed as such
The food was good. However the all inclusive experience was not what I expected. I didn't like that you could only eat between certain times of the day. Where as other all inclusive a I have been to before you can eat anytime of day. Also there are two buildings of the hotel the second building did not resemble photos on their website and was out dated and had carpet. Beware photos on the website are only of the main building that has been renovated.
Lovely hotel with lovely food and excellent staff from cleaning ladies to management only negatives are the beer and could do with more entertainment in the evening on the beautiful outside terrace . Directly on a lovely beach where we spent most of our days as swimming pool was very noisy with lots of children running about .
Updated hotel on the beach
The hotel is very nice, clean with lots of amenities. It is right on the beach. Lots of families with young children. We enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night.
Excellent!! Was pleasantly surprised!!
Wifi worked! The pool, slide, beach, food, staff everything was fantastic. The hotel was clean and not dated... We had a sea view !! Would go back again!!
The hotel is a great location for traditional scenery, on the side of the marina. The hotel itself if very clean and well maintained but is old fashioned, particularly in communal areas and requires refurbishment (eg corridors etc) The main issue is the lack of sun beds where there are not enough sun beds for all guests and found several days where I could not get a sunbed at all.
worst hotel ever
rooms needs renovation !! not as seen in photos ! bathtub was clogged the room had a weird smell , the hair dryer was broken bathtub curtain had fungus on it seriously a 4 star hotel? the breakfast was terrible quality close to none! never ever going to visit your hotel again ! for the prices you are charging at least use the money to provide excellent services !
Tired pool area and poor breakfast
Stayed a few days with Cypriot family, the hotel is one of the older ones and it is beginning to show. The rooms are OK, two of ours had a lovely sea view, the other not. The bathrooms are showing their age though - a bit basic and grubby. The breakfast buffet is not the best, lots of choice but the quality is not great and its very loud and busy. The outside area is all over the place from a flow point of view, four routes from the reception to the beach, nothing particularly direct and routes get closed off all the time - a bit odd. The grassed areas are ok, the loungers are old and the cushions are not very clean. Its really put in the shade by other hotels that are either newer (Crystal Springs) or better looked after (Capo). If you get a good price, its ok. If comparitive to others, i would not stay again.
Good for families
This is a nice hotel located on the beach in Pernera. The hotel facilities are good including pools and waterslide for kids, but word of warning the water in the pool is very cold which made it almost unusable. The hotel is a bit out of town so it is a walk along the beach to the local town which is generally just tourist bars and restaurants. You will need to travel further afield for a more authentic town. The restaurant food is good - we were on the all inclusive package and enjoyed. The staff at reception are very helpful and always went out of their way to help. Overall a good hotel for a family
Relaxing
The hotel staff where very accommodating & the service was really good & made friends with most of the by the end of my stay. I also enjoyed the facilities available & also it caters for family with kids with different activities.
Very nice hotel close to the beach
Convenient beach, nice and friendly hotel stuff, beautiful sea view from the room.
On our first holiday with our baby daughter. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is on the beach, however routes around the hotel with a ramp for the pram meant we had to go the long way round to get there. This was not a major issue though. The power to the rooms only worked when you are in the room with the key inserted into a slot, which meant that the room could get quite warm whilst you aren't present.
Good hotel, helpful staff
We stayed as a family of four in this hotel on an AI basis for two weeks during the first two weeks in August 2015.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the more modern block (set back from the main building and with inland views) but were happier there as the rooms seemed more spacious. We had a family room with bunks but touches like more power points for the children's numerous electronic devices made a real difference. Thank you to Androula on reception for her understanding and professionalism for accommodating our room request whilst we were there. The food seemed better than we had experienced in other similar hotels (in Cyprus and elsewhere). The evening meals had regional themes each evening. Panicos is the head of the dining area. He really made our stay. His good humour and professionalism in having to deal with different demands of the different nationalities and cultures was remarkable. It's easy to find a table for a family of four three times a day but not to strike up the briefest of conversations with them every day. The animation team made great efforts to put on an good, fun, active programme. We all liked this, especially the children. The evening entertainment was professional (the benefit of staying at a larger hotel I guess). The highlight was the beach party and show. There are enough sunbeds for the amount of guests but dawn risers seem to bag the best located ones!
Excellent staff, excellent facilities
Very comfortable and clean room, very friendly staff, excellent facilities. Food could be better especally the breakfast

Nice pleasant stay
Staff we’re very friendly and helpful. The food was good but not very hot. My only complaint is my room got mussed for service clean one of the days which was a bit inconvenient. But other than that all good.
