AC didn’t work. Staff didn’t even offer any discounts for AC not working in horriblly hot night.

Our Stay at the Metropole was just excellent, Very Friendly Manager Hitesh went overboard in Helping us when Any requirements were desired. The Hotel stall was very Friendly and the Head Porter Hitesh very helpful. I would certainly stay in this Hotel when I am in Ahemdabad.

My stay was pleasent, staff were excellent, they have a great 24 hour cafe and a great and affordable menu. Beds were comfortable and rooms were cosy, close to the airport and rickshaws available just outside the hotel.

Stay at METROPOLE HOTEL

Hotel was ok but air-condition was not keeping up with temperature, refrigerator was not cooling at all, coffee jar was not working. In the restaurant food was great, restaurant staff was great.

Excellent property and great staff, very friendly and helpful.

Repeat stay

I was pleased to stay last time, which is why I booked this again for my return journey as well. The major reason for that was the quality and tasty food as well as the caring and courteous staff.

Family Vacation Home

Stay was good. Although the hotel can use a bit of conditioning and renovation but overall the stay was good. The food is excellent and the options available in the restaurant are tasty.

Room was good but consumable like soap, razor and other consumables not place in side the room. we take breakfast at 8am and very few items are available in the breakfast there was not place fruit juice, fruits, milk and cornflakes.

We stayed there for 3 nights and everything things were excellent

Reception guy wasn’t very friendly but restaurant staff were superb.

I wold say was frustrating at reception counter an den the services was excellent enjoyed my stay I love the service of kitchen staffs it was excellent

It was an okay experience. Only thing was at the time of booking i was promised of a king size bed for single occupancy but was provide with a single bed .

Except for our arrival at the hotel and not getting adjoining rooms as per booking and confirmation. The next day moved us to another floor and gave room next door to each other. Overall the service was very good.

Not a nice place to stay, other places I have stayed in Ahmadabad are much better, paid same or less at other properties. Staff not responsive, They seem to believe that they are doing me a favor by letting me stay there. So customer service is out the window.

Bad and Old , Not Value for Money

Room Smelly and pathetic.Electrical Socket poping out.Old Paint and Furniture old. very Basic Buffet Breakfast.Not value for money spend.

Overall it was a great stay. Comfort level while sleeping was not good as mattress springs are old and quite hard.

Ok for two or three days stay

Front of the staff had poor customer service to give , we were misled as were not informed about airport rules due to that initial cost us 600rupees it was the driver who told us we cannot go to airport till six pm; we had to come back and book another taxi back. There was no gesture of good will offered by Metropolehotel manager, instead he was pointing out our fault. We do travel lot but never again with Expedia . Regards, Mr. Amin.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Overall we had a memorable stay.

Good hotel in good area

Stayed over for 2 nights. Helpful & friendly staff

Every thing in this Hotel was perfect. From the reception greeting by Ravi to restaurant staff or room cleaning. Fair sized rooms, hot water shower. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on variety of food. My only criticism would be that we had Iphone 6 which did not connect to wifi no matter how much we tried.

Enjoyed the stay, will stay again if i wish ahmadabad. Chintu the front desk staff was a delight with excellent customer service skills.

In poor condition, towels are dirty, shower is not maintained. Gym is useless as made in a congested room in the hotel.

Good Business hotel

We stayed there for just 2 nights: the reception, ambience and decor was typical business: well-lit, brisk and efficient. Rooms, although a wee bit small, were clean and comfortable, except for the windows: they were frosted over and there were no views outside. Location wise, the place is excellent, fairly close to the Riverfront, very good for an Evening's unwinding. The hotel cuisine was good and staff helpful, especially Shohaib. The International Airport's close by too, the proximity to which helped avoid spending useful time commuting, especially on our red-eye flight back home.

There is nothing very spcl to write. I stayed on the 4th floor which was quit good My friend got room on 2nd floore with was very noisy due to loud music etc.

Hotel reception is nice. Rooms r very clean. Quick room service n buffet is also good. Overall hotel is very good.

Nice Hotel with spacious rooms and facilities

I've enjoyed multiple stays at the Metropole Hotel when in Ahmedabad on business, and have nothing but good to say about the hotel and staff. The restaurant generally keeps veg cuisine on the buffet, but non-veg is available on request, and the room service menu is both. Food is good, service is great, rooms and public areas are clean and spacious. One one recent stay, monsoon rains and flooding kept us from getting to an office where we were going to be doing some training - the staff prepped a meeting room on the premises for our meetings with only an hour notice, and we were able to conduct our sessions comfortably and professionally right there in the hotel for the next three days. As a westerner that frequently visits India - Metropole to my favorite choice when in Ahmedabad.

Service n staff both r really gud. the most imp thing hotel room, premises n suroundings r very decent at reasonable price. Food is a section which has scope for improvement. altogethr stay was a delite.

Excellent quality, great stay overall

Couldn't be a nicer place. Super comfortable, attentive staff, generous amenities, minibar in room, complimentary bottle of water upon check-in. Problem I encountered was with WiFi which was pricy and complicated to use. Had to have pass card from reception and activation code provided via cell phone. No cell phone? Staff is willing to help out. Browser must remain open and computer on entire 24 hour period or new pricy card needed. Also, transportation very expensive. All else top notch.
