This place was great to stay at. Very clean, great facilities and parking. Great staff.

The one bedroom apartment was very spacious, even had a balcony. The living room is very well spaced, with 2 double couches and a dining table for 4. Tv in both living room and bedroom. Non-stick pan and plastic utensils were a bit dirty and damaged, but can use the stainless pots if needed. Even though parking spots are not allocated to rooms, but there were plenty of undercover and street parking. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, Aldi is right behind the back fence. Would stay there again.

Wouldn’t recommend. Overpriced for the current state of the property. Needs general upkeep and safety maintenance. Bar staff weren’t polite and charged us more than the prices listed on the menu. Pool ladder is rusted and broken, underwater pool light is broken and hanging in water which cut my foot, hottub was not hot, no pool towels. Wifi in room did not work on our devices or on the hotel TV. Drywall and furniture in room needs repair/refinishing. Only positive was the bed was comfortable enough.

Great getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was larger than expected, always a bonus! Amenities were great and plenty of parking made life easy.

I think this hotel is over due for a refresh, for the money paid for the night the room and facilities left room for improvement.

Enjoyed my stay. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Ate in the restaurant twice. Food was good, good size serves. Only negative is the menu is very limited. Girl in the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful.

Don’t expect too much. It is truly a 7.5 to 8 out of 10 accommodation

Overall it was a pleasant, short stay that was made all the more enjoyable by the lovely staff and easy check-in/check-out. No issues arose during my trip and I would gladly stay there again if I return to Lakes Entrance again.

Great place. Comfortable and clean. Close to shops and restaurants.

The room was in bad shape. Missing the block out blinds in the living room. Door handle to bedroom was half coming off. Carpet was old. Balcony dirty. Bathroom and Bedroom was ok. Kitchen had enough amenities.

Overall a good resort.

I stayed at The Esplanade Resort and Spa during my recent trip to Lakes Entrance and it was definitely the nicest place to stay in the area. The resort served as a lovely home base for my vacation. The amenities were great, and the overall experience was wonderful. However, the only downside was the mattress on the bed, which was quite hard. Nonetheless, I would still recommend the resort to anyone visiting Lakes Entrance.

The listing promised a tennis court, but it was not available. The food at the restaurant was very limited. The condition inside was clean but very old and not maintained well. The view from the room is very bad and not recommended.

very convenient FOR SHOPPING, walking, fishing, crabbing the only issue is the awreness of self providing the toilet tissues and shampoo if staying more than 2 days

From start to finish, our little getaway was wonderful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The amenities were fabulous. The pool and spa were amazing. Overall, this place is fantastic, would definitely stay here again.

Could do better.

The pre online book in is frustrating and makes the front of house service non existent. It's nice to do this at reception and meet the front of house staff. Pillows were very poor, I woke with a very sore neck.

Everything was good

I would have like to have clear directions to the room from reception. There are many rooms in this complex, and we had to double back and ask for directions. No map was provided. In addition, the television was not working. Very ordinary. In room facilities, back to the 90s. One choice of tea bag, one choice of powdered, instant coffee. The experience was like camping in a room.

I would have liked easier access to the heated pool. I have a back problem so the ladder into the pool is no good for me so was unable to use it.

Another great stay at The Esplanade. Shower head was cracked and not flowing correctly however rest of apartment and grounds were spotless.

We arrived at 4pm and left at 7am next morning so wasn;t there long enough to really review. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was lovely and very clean. Unfortunately the lifts broke down so walking 4 floors with luggage was a bit of a challenge. Overall we enjoyed our stay albeit a short one

Room and hotel was nice enough however the bed was really uncomfortable - felt very cheap and felt almost like it could break any time you sat down or moved on it.

The room I booked was quite small for the price, average food in the restaurant and breakfast is only toasted sandwiches from 7.00am, went down at 7.30 and was told they haven’t turned anything on yet so I went elsewhere…

Nice resort however pricey for a small room, TV was atleast 10yo plus couldn’t sleep due to nearby lights shining straight through the window, blinds couldn’t block it out. Other rooms probably ok but this one was not good.

Nice hotel to stay but queen bed was very uncomfortable and wi-fi was below average at best. Car parks are very tight and difficult to park. No cable tv or even streaming services to watch. Towels are not changed or rubbish emptied. On a good note, indoor pool was very nice !!!!

Receptionist was abrupt. Our small room on first floor looked directly into the laundry area which was still being manned We had to keep the blind closed. Only breakfast option was toasted sandwiches. It was a 15 min walk to any coffee shops.

Pleasant resort type facility with indoor and outdoor pool. Bar. Readily accessible and plenty of parking on site. Clean.

Only stayed one night, didn't eat at restaurant. They were not offering full breakfast, only toasted sandwiches. Otherwise quite a nice hotel.

Love the pool and spa, clean well designed rooms, nice staff, family friendly, good location. Didn't like the price (OK for this off-peak stay). Post COVID peak rates seem to have gone through the roof. We and 2 other families with kids prior to COVID came up every year and stayed in really nice rooms. This is no longer affordable as the peak prices are now what I believe to be outrageous so we stay elsewhere. Parking can be challenging, I just stayed mid week at the end of March and had to park outside.
