Staff was so nice, accommodating and even prepared me a special desert plate delivered to my room for my birthday! Convenient for walking downtown. Great breakfast! Couldn't recommend it more!

The Emerald House Lisbon is great! The hotel lobby is nice and the breakfast buffet has a lot of varieties. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfortable!

Loved this place. Beautiful building, excellent location to go anywhere, staff and breakfast were fabulous. Nightly recommend. Those that moan about its location should be on a coach tour. It couldn’t have been better.

Not so convienient

It was a 10-15 mins walk to the most touristy area, but a great hotel in general. On our walks to the touristy area, we found multiple locals' favorite small restaurants that turned out amazing! Would definately book again.

Comfortable room with a nice view of River Tagus and bridge. Good breakfast and coffee. Staff very friendly and helpful in arranging a taxi for the next morning to various pickup points for tours. Not on the list for hotel pickup and none of the pickup points within walking distance but taxi fare around €8-9 not expensive.

This is a beautiful small boutique hotel. Not too much around the area but it was perfect. Across the street they have El Museo de Arte Antigua which was very nice and a very nice restaurant (Catch me if You Can) overlooking the Lisbon docks. They also have a nice restaurant down the block called Picahna. They have one out doors but if u continue walking down, you will see the indoor one. They also have a pizza shop which was very good and a market where u can buy wine, snacks, bottle water and they have some souvenirs too. Got a few bottles of wine from there and they were delicious. You can take a Bolt to the center of the city which is about 10 minutes in car or 15 to 20 walking but the Bolt ride is inexpensive. My overall rating is excellent. Absolutely loved the hotel and will definitely stay there again if I visit Lisbon.

The property is in a great location! Right across from a great restaurant overlooking the water. The front desk staff were very helpful when we needed help! The hotel itself is beautifully decorated! The shower had great pressure and the bed was super comfy! Would absolutely recommend!

The staffs are super nice, property is very clean and well maintained. I would give it a 5 star if it wasn’t because the following issues, 1. The A/C is very weak, it says 19c in settings, the rooms is really 24c at best. 2. Facility has no laundry, sending laundry out with room service is extremely expensive 3. Happy house food is old, clearly left over from breakfast.

Our biggest critique of this hotel is the cost of breakfast and the fact that there isn’t any other dining options close by, the hotel itself is very nice and comfortable and the staff from the front desk check in too the bartenders were all amazing!!

Staff were very welcoming. We arrived early and they held our luggage for us whilst we went and explored the city. Then, they called us early to let us know the room was ready. Didn’t eat here but did have the happy hour snacks which were plentiful. Bar staff equally as pleasant. Lovely rooms, just wish they had a bath.

Parking is challenging they had tge front of the building covered for construction including the sign. Staff were awesome good location.

Hotel de Chiado is an excellent and friendly hotel

We were sent to Hotel de Chiado down town hotel by the Emerald House Lisbon. It turned out to be excellent hotel. We enjoyed the stay in the Hotel de Chiado.

Enjoyed our stay the staff was outstanding and very attentive, especially Lorenzo. Come to find out he has been onboard less than a month, but based on his focus on customer service and overall professionalism I had assumed that he was a long time employee. Great hire!

The property is in a great location, a short walk to the center of town. Along the way there are restaurants. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a good assortment of food. They had complimentary snacks in the afternoon. The people who work at the hotel went above and beyond when my husband threw out his back. They are very nice and thoughtful. Would highly recommend this hotel, we had such a pleasant stay.

The hotel itself is gorgeous the rooms and the showers etc are amazing. The location is kind of in its own place - there’s very little to do nearby, you have to Uber almost everywhere. Most of the staff is great! Only reason it wasn’t a 5- We had a weird waiter during a holiday dinner who made us feel super uncomfortable and it was kind of awkward and annoying. The concierge also didn’t even try finding us a reservation that day and pushed the hotel meal... Which was sad and had just weird stuff on the buffet. As no one else was really there it was so awkward. Otherwise, The bar staff and cleaning staff were awesome!

The Emerald Hoise was a great place to stay, very clean facility and rooms. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The location was very convenient.

Great hotel in a just ok location

The hotel is very nice and we booked a charming room at the top floor with sloped ceiling and two private terraces. All the interior design details were super cute. The only con of this hotel is that it’s too far from the tourist area, either 40’ walk or 20’ in public transportation. We like sometimes to get back to the hotel at the middle of the day and we couldn’t do it here.

We stayed at the Emerald House as the last stop on our honeymoon and it was arguably our favorite hotel because of the room. The room was cute, comfortable and clean. Housekeeping came daily and responded immediately if we needed anything.

We have traveled all over the world and the Emerald House Hotel in Lisbon is one of the top 5 hotels we have stayed at anywhere. The front desk staff (Isabella, Diana, Joanna, Rachelle) were wonderful providing us with any assistance we requested. This hotel is extremely clean and quiet and the location would be hard to beat at any cost. When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely stay at this peerless hotel again.

If there was a 6-star rating, I would give the Emerald House. Rachel was one of the front desk receptionists, who had spent long time to explain and answer our questions when we first arrived at the Hotel. Another front desk receptionist had tried to help us solve the airport pick up problem by call the long distance to Spain to find out the answer. Not only the front desk clerks have great service attitude but also the cleaning crews are very friendly too. The location of the hotel was also another plus. There are several bus stops nearby and it was very convenient to go shopping or explore several tourist spots. My wife and I had a great time and will highly recommend this hotel to friends.

What a lovely hotel. The decor was exquisite. Every room was special and the attention to detail was bar none. Excellent staff always so helpful and courteous. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The rooms were spotless and well taken care of. Because of my gold status I was given a wonderful room with a huge terrace. I highly recommend this hotel. Everything about it was perfect and the value was just what we needed for traveling with our two teenage boys

Take me back to this hotel! Not only is the decor stunning but the rooms are beautiful and the terrace is absolutely gorgeous. It is located very close to returants,bars, shopping and the bus to get you wherever you need to go. Not to mention the staff are so helpful and kind. This is a must visit!

The hotel is small but the staff make it pleasant. The front desk staff were willing to answer our many questions and hold our bags so we could tour after our check-out time. They spoke English very well and are really what made the hotel a good fit for our family of 6 adults and one child. The hotel has a buffet breakfast available (not included) and a small bar (a happy surprise was a free "welcome" drink). We were leaving Lisbon on a cruise and had to print luggage tags from the road. There was no business center but the front desk staff had us e-mail the tag PDF and printed them for us. The area around the Hotel appeared safe it just was not close to lots of food options or shops.
